Probamos una ensaladilla rusa que estaba brutal!! Empezamos tomando un par de cañas con un amigos. Nos dio hambre y pedimos una rusa y los buñuelos de bacalao. Tanto nos gustó la rusa que repetimos y sumamos unos huevos estrellados. Todo increíble, sumado a la excelente atención que nos dieron. Punto de encuentro para gente local. Volveremos Y volvimos muchas veces más!!!

Delicious food and great service! There was one waiter and (from what I can see) one cook in the kitchen, but service was efficient and precise. The only downside I can think of were people smoking right in front of the door with the wind carrying the stench in the restaurant for all to smell. It’s not a unique occurrence to PaTapas, as it seems to happen everywhere in Barcelona.

We had a great experience at paTapas! Most of the tapas were delicious and freshly made. The patatas could have been a bit crispier, but the rest of the dishes more than made up for it. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, and very reasonable prices. Definitely a spot we’d return to!

My family and I were looking for an affordable tapas place and chanced upon PaTapas. The staff here were extremely friendly and warm. A big plus was the affordability and quality of the food. We didn’t wait very long for the food and everything came hot. A must order that we thoroughly enjoyed was the “Galician Style Octopus”, “Best Fried Egg and Potatoes ever with Ham”, “Marinated Chicken Wings with Spicy Sauce”. The sangria was also refreshing - the perfect balance of red wine, fruitiness and fizziness. A big shout out to Sergio, a warm and sweet staff, who made sure we were well-taken care of. His top notch service made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We visited this restaurant twice because we had to go back for more! The tapas were delicious and the servers created a very welcoming atmosphere. We tried an array from the tapas menu (croquetas, patatas bravas, tortilla, eggs with ham and potatoes, cod bites, meatballs, chorizo etc) which were all incredible. The drinks selection was very varied, we tried everything from beers to cocktails and soft drinks. All servers were very friendly, even recognising us and welcoming us back the second time. We’d definitely go there again!

Wow. I had the best tapas here and will come back again for sure. I was served by Alejandro. He was very nice and he gave me an excellent recommendation. I had the croquetas iberia and the octobus. Mhhhhhhh it was soo delicious and rich in flavor. Atmosphere is a nice plus. It is quiet and on a plaza with a view of a church.

Hands down the best food in Barcelona. So good we went there twice. We sat outside both times. They had music playing, which made it a really great experience. Please try their hamburger and chicken burgers. Wife really enjoyed the Caesar salad, and the daughter loved their tapas and squid. If you are a drinker, try their sangria made fresh every day or there big beer German stein mug.

Great experience after I was talked into staying when I walked by. Had the tomato rubbed bread and manchego cheese with honey and candied walnuts. The cheese and honey was an amazing combination. Ordered the chicken wings which had a sweet, savory sauce. The entire staff was very outgoing even as they got busy. While small, it does have two floors as well as a patio across the way. Great lunch stop while touring the Gothic Quarter.

If you're a tourist, please avoid this restaurant. No recomendaría este sitio si quieres comer auténtica comida española. La calidad era bastante baja, con platos "típicos" que no tenían nada que ver con la gastronomía real. El pulpo a la gallega llevaba salsa barbacoa y ajolio, algo impensable; los huevos estrellados con jamón no tenían jamón serrano (era un jamón rosa de supermercado, nada que ver), el resto de los platos eran más bien normalitos, y por un precio excesivamente elevado. El servicio tampoco fue bueno, a excepción de la chica que nos atendió. Los otros dos hombres eran bastante bordes, incluso uno de ellos nos obligó a comer separados a mi grupo de 8 personas porque no se podían juntar mesas, pues "no podía pasar el camarero" (estábamos al fondo de un pasillo contra la pared, no había ningún sitio al que pasar). En general, evitar el lugar cuando sea posible, es otro de los muchísimos sitios de """""comida española""""" que hay en Barcelona (ya me entendéis).

La tortilla de patatas pésima, de esas q venden envasadas. Los chorizos del diablo es lo único q estaba bueno. De postre la crema catalana estaba con grumos y malísima. No lo aconsejo para nada. Las hamburguesas pasables pero se hacía bola….

The food here was below average, so I surprised by the great reviews which are what drew us in. The calamari tasted very oily, looked as though the oil for frying has maybe not been changed in some time. The olives only tasted of vinegar. The white sangria was pure lemonade (it’s supposed to be cava, fruit and orange liquor?). By contrast the restaurant next door with a great menu of the day off looked great.

A group of 4 for dinner on a Friday night. We ordered garlic prawns , meatballs with peas and carrots and a queen hamburger. The 6 prawns were not fresh and lacked a garlic flavour, the carrot and peas were very well hidden with the meatballs, which were cold, the queen hamburger was quite tasteless. Overall our meal was quite disappointing and over priced at 78 euros. When we were asked if we enjoyed our meal and we expressed our dissatifaction of the meal we were told thats what to expect when ordering tapas but some we ordered were not under the tapas section. Hemos comido las típicas tapas de siempre, alitas, croquetas, y huevos estrellados con jamón. Estaba todo correcto, sin más. Las croquetas no son caseras, aunque ponga en la carta que sí y el jamón que acompaña a los huevos estrellados es una loncha del que venden envasado barato. Eso sí, el precio por 2 croquetas, 5 alitas de pollo, y un plato pequeño de patatas con 2 huevos y la rodaja de jamón, más 2 cañas de tirador, 31,60€.... caro no, lo siguiente. Y en repuesta al comentario del restaurante decir que NO cenamos fue un mini tapeo, 1 croqueta y 2 alitas de pollo no es ninguna comida por muy el centro de Barcelona que sea. Además he puesto comida "correcta" por querer ser educada y no decir que no es nada del otro mundo. Os había dado alguna estrella de más por el servicio, pero viendo la respuesta a mi reseña, la quito. No doy 0 estrellas porque no puedo! El señor alto rubio, creo el dueño, nos trató de lo peor! Mi mamá tratando de ayudar el señor a recoger los platos le dio todo lo que estaba en la mesa incluso un plato de hoya. El señor se lo lanzó otra vez a la mesa con disgusto! Mi mamá a final del servicio les dijo tranquillamente y educadamente que no le había gustado este gesto. El señor no le dijo disculpe o no sé algo, se fue al tu pur tu, y le dijo este des clientes no tienen razón! Respeten a los superiores (ósea el, el dueño). Y la verdad las papas y las tortillas estaban calentada en microonde, la paella solo aceite! Horrible Experiencia! No pasen mal rato!

Pedí dos cañas y me sirvió dos pintas, pensé que en Cataluña eran más grandes, pero cuando vi la cuenta entendí que había sido un engaño para pagar más. En fin casi 13 euros por 2 cervezas, no es agradable que intenten exprimirte cuando solo quieres tomarte una cerveza relajado con tu pareja. No volveré y no lo recomendaré.

Cibo orribile e poco commestibile, con costi altissimi. Per 1 tapa de pimiento del Padron y una tapas con 5 anillos pequeños de calamaros sin gusto con pan simple más una jarra de cerveza pagué 28 euro, una cosa que no es aceptable para comer en Barcelona. Alrededores estan cosas mejores a un precio más barato

Never came back to the table to check for further orders, never answered any hails to the point of being almost racist. I waited 15 mins to pay my tab and had to go to the desk to clear it.
