The most delicious Lamb and Shrimp curry 🍛 in the universe! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤩🎊 We visited first inside and were so impressed and excited with our meals, the service and the atmosphere! Then we ordered take out and still the best !!! ❤️🥰
Hidden gem in price hill. Food is always served fresh and hot. Some of the best Indian Cuisine in Cincinnati. I have eaten here for years. Surprised it doesn't get more attention. Their Bhatura goes excellent with everything.
Great Indian restaurant with flavorful, authentic food. The curries are delicious, naan is fresh, and the service is friendly. Cozy atmosphere and definitely worth visiting again!
This has been my absolute favorite restaurant since it opened. Probably the best restaurant in price hill. If i had to pick a last meal all I’d need to consider is the mayas Indian restaurant menu.
Literally the best Indian food in Cincinnati. We go at least once a week and are tempted to go more often. Owner and staff are all very friendly. I can't speak highly enough of good restaurant
Maya’s is our favorite Indian restaurant! The food is fresh and delicious with the right amount of heat. The garlic Nan is fantastic. The owners are friendly and make you feel at home!
Very, very good food, I've tried many dishes here, their rice is authentic, and they make their own paneer, naan is superb, we clean our plates!
It is a bit expensive but that is true at any good restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing I normally get it delivered. The interior of the store is cozy and clean, the surrounding neighborhood is a dangerous area. Highly recommend the food is absolutely amazing. Although expensive the portions are great if you buy two meals, naan, and an extra rice you can make like 4 to 5 meals.
My favorite Indian restaurant is Maya. They’re incredible friendly and the food is always perfect. We just got some yesterday and they are always on point every time!
Tried for the first time today, really enjoyed the chicken vindaloo, keema samosas, and aloo paratha. Good sized portions. Definitely will order again in the future!
If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine this restaurant is where you need to come, I had the pleasure of experiencing dining in and it was excellent hospitality and proper service the atmosphere brings you into traditional Indian culture, the food was the superb with the dish I order I couldn’t put it down the spices and flavors and the meat cooked just right.
Work across the street and eat here every week, always amazing! Best Indian in Cincinnati for sure. Good portions, especially for the price.
Hands down, my favorite Indian restaurant in Cincinnati. Always good, always abundant, and the staff are always kind and courteous. Everything I have ever had at Mayas has been nothing short of spectacular.
I crave Maya's! I always get vegetable samosas! A fried puffed pastry with spicy potatoes and peas. They come with a green and red chutney that you can add to anything. Their garlic naan is amazing! I've tried many dishes from here and I don't think you can go wrong. Some of my favorites are, bhatura saag, saag paneer and chicken tikka Masala. The portions are huge I usually get 2/4 meals out of the samosas, naan and a dinner. The people who run it are so nice. Best Indian food around!
We loved it! I couldn't tell you what we had because I often have Indian food and forget the name, but we all got something and shared it and everything we ate tasted great! The restaurant is small, perhaps 5-10 tables or so. The man that helped us, (he greeted us, seated us, answered the phone, helped serve the food) said that 80% of their business is take out. While we were eating, we saw a steady stream of people coming into pick up food to take out, and it was a Thursday evening. Very friendly nice staff, clean restaurant (a little cluttered, but clean). Not a lot for ambiance, but it was clean and nice and the food was excellent; defiantly I would recommend take out, dine in if you don't mind a hole in the wall kind of setting (I don't mean that disrespectfully, just don't know how to describe it). I will go back and I would take a friend if we were looking for place to eat. I recommend it!
This might be the best place in Columbus to grab some delicious Indian food. We tried the garlic naan, paneer naan, chicken biryani, lamb choli, and goat saag. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were huge (especially for the naan). The naan was crispy and poufy, and all of the main dishes were very well spiced. We ordered max spicy for the saag and it wasn't the blow-your-face-off spicy that you sometimes get with Indian food, so go crazy. The goat was the only dish that had bones in it, so just be aware of that. There's a little bit of parking around back.
Rating mostly on the food quality and taste. We tried the fish pakora and mix platter at first in appetizers. Fish pakora was one of the best I have had in the US so far. It was very hot and crispy. We followed with paratha and chicken tikka masala. Parathas are too big and tasty too. You should probably only order one paratha for every 2 people for it to not get wasted. Chicken tikka masala tasted ok. We also tried shrimp biryani which was really good. We ended up with special chai which wasn't really that special. The only feedback I would give to the restaurant is to tell their customers their best dishes from the menu. We came from far away and only wanted to try their best dishes, however, when asked about it, we were said there is no special dish and everything is good.
I will start with the restaurant is very clean and organized. service was excellent from the start as we walk through the door till the moment we left the food tastes very good if you like mild to extremely spicy they will make it to order.my wife says with her experience eating the style of food they have Americanized it a little bit by not having the bones in with a meat but it is still good. Thank you to the gentleman who served us from the door to table and to the Cook whoever that might have been great job ...😍
Food is good and the portions are good. I ordered the goat biryani and chicken tandoori. There were very few goat pieces that were small sized in the biryani and I received mostly bones. Biryani taste is good but I found it to be oily. Chicken tandoori taste was good but had too many capsicum and the gravy had strong vinegar taste. They added sliced ginger to the tandoori which I liked. Raita’s taste was excellent. The tandoori comes with plain basmati rice.
This is for a door dash delivery. So I'm not rating the ambience. The food was a total disappointment. Okra masala was more onions and bell peppers and extra salt. Too bad doordash doesn't mention that entree comes with rice. Portion size is too small for the price. Doordash upsells rice during checkout.
