Best food, best vibe and best service… 1. Food if really good. And they can really go spicy if you choose. We took 8 spice level, and really spicy. No kidding. So if you really eat spicy, choose 7 which would be good. If not, choose like 3 to 5. 2. We ordered below… - Red curry chicken - fine but spicy. - Green curry chicken - really good with flavorful. - Chicken lettuce wrap - good. - edamame - as usual in good way with just sea salt. - Basil fried rice - really good, if need spicy, go with 7. If not, choose like 4 or 5. - OMG sushi - Decent with charred taste. - Spicy dragon sushi - The best. 3. Vive is good. They can accommodate around 60 people. 4. Serves alcohol. Lot variety including bourbon and scotch. 5. No dedicated parking. Look for street parking with pay. 6. Small Park in front of this place. Full of vibe especially on weekends.

I got the pork belly entree, salmon and eel sushi. The meal was fresh, full of great flavor and quality. I've been there for lunch and dinner carryout and the quality is great every time.

Great experience over all. The sushi was really good. Staff and fast, kind, and respectful of the customers. You might want to reserve a table before going because the wait can be a bit if you are there during peak times. I recommend a chiefs role they chose what in it.

Really nice looking restaurant with a great menu! I got the Thai chicken dish and I think it was good but I would probably enjoy other items more! The crab rangoons were also super flavorful. We went during lunch with a large party and the staff was still very accommodating. The food came out quick and overall it was a great experience 👍🏽

They have been making Asian food since 1996. Right across the street from Washington Park (stop #14 on the free Cincinnati Bell Connector trolley). The food is yummy! I’m definitely coming back. Who would have known that I would have found a nice Thai and Japanese place in Cincinnati Ohio… really close to downtown. I took the free Cincinnati Bell connector trolley from downtown to this place 0.7 miles away or so and was very happy. They make this amazing natural ginger dressing for their ginger salad $7 (cherry tomatos, lettuce, spinach). It’s pure ginger and carrots and other ingredients. It’s rare that any restaurant makes this pure natural tasty ginger sauce like they do. The seafood delight $16 was tasty with their home made brown sauce and a medley of mussels, salmon pieces, imitation crab, shrimp, carrots, broccoli, onion, and I asked for extra garlic which they were kind to add. It comes with Jasmine rice so you don’t pay extra for rice :-). I always get upset at other restaurants when they charge for rice bc how can you charge for rice that is not only necessary as a staple with dishes but it’s not expensive. The 2 spring rolls are fried and come with 3 sauces (spicy red, mustard, and sweet and sour) and it’s $5. I personally didn’t like the spring rolls much bc I love the ingredients but would prefer it to be rolled in rice wraps without the deep fried skins. It would feel healthier and would taste better to me. The staff were great and the owner was gracious and kind and humble. The decor is soothing and pretty. The bathroom is clean. It’s right on the same side as the Cincinnati Bell connector trolley so it’s very convenient to get to. And you can hop back on before 11:30pm when it stops running Monday to Friday. It also runs on weekends but not that late. Overall great place and next time I will try the Japanese food. But will also try the Pad Thai.

I ordered duck…got chicken instead. Frustrating, because I was really looking forward to it to treat myself, and they were closed by the time I got it delivered so I couldn’t rectify it. Pad Thai was pretty good though. Hoping to get my money back for the up-charge. Edit. I called the restaurant and the manager was extremely gracious and rectified the situation. Very kind of them. New rating is 5 stars

Teak was a great way to end a Friday night. Our waitress was super sweet. The staff overall was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back. They were very generous with their portions so I felt the price was worth it! Sushi was fresh and tasty. The pork belly was fantastic! Melt in your mouth texture too. I did a spice lvl 8, wasn’t bad at all but I love spicy. I could do a 10 here. Worth a try if you have been here yet! There’s a parking garage across the street from Teak, but also there are street parking/meters.

Great to see Teak back on the scene! Had a great Saturday night dinner prior to a FC game. The space was bustling and all tables were filled. Our server was prompt and very nice. Even with a few misses on the bar’s part, our server was apologetic and made things right as best as possible. Th food came quickly and was great. We had the calamari and spring rolls - both were tasty and the spring rolls came out really hot. The sushi rolls were very good - we tried the rainbow, 1200 race, and kiwi rolls and all were really good. We’ll definitely be back!

From the outside, this place looks like just an average business in Cincinnati trying to impress. But once you walk in, you notice immediately how hard they work to impress. They put a lot of time in the chandeliers and certainly made the floors look first class. Music is just at a perfect volume for a conversation to be held. The food was prepped perfectly and built to give the customer a great time. Staff was super friendly and certainly extremely helpful. Bathrooms are certainly lovely and clean. My complaints are strictly in just the water pressure when washing your hands which hardly is enough to knock off a star. This place was quite fulfilling.

Great spot in Cincinnati that we enjoyed a great dinner with friends with a variety of dishes. We ordered some various rolls that all came out delicious. The staff was good, took nice care of us and accommodated our larger group. When in the area, will be back!

Veg Pad Thai is authentic. I ordered a 4 of 10 for spicy and found it to be mild but flavorful. Very good. Dynamic atmosphere, large menu, and diversity in patronage. I'm glad i made a reservation. It was packed & out the door. My waitress was from Bangkok and so charming. What a night!

I had the green curry with duck, the duck addon is a little pricy: I'd prefer to see a crispy duck on top at this price, but the curry and duck were very good as well as our drinks. My friend also liked his pad see ew. Portions were generous (especially on the duck curry), and I had leftovers to take home, though neither of my friends did. I'll be sure to return next time I'm in the area, it's a great location with good food!

Food was delicious, good portions. I had the coconut soup, which was awesome! So much chicken and mushrooms, I loved it. The entree was also good, lots of protein and veg, price was very reasonable. I would definitely eat here again!

Delicious food, literally everything we had was great. The stir fry was flavorful and not greasy, the veggies were great, too. We both ordered ours at a level 3 and we wished we had gotten a higher spice level (out of 10) because they weren't that spicy, but everything still tasted great. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer and they were seriously amazing. The drinks were good, too--try the Teaktini. We had a window seat that overlooked Washington Park, and it was really enjoyable. I highly recommend a stop here.

We came after a Sunday afternoon Bengals game while we waited for the traffic to die down. We had the pork dim sum and a few specialty rolls as well as the heart attack appetizer. For rolls we ordered: J.Lo, spicy yellow tuna mix roll, and the crazy tuna. The J.Lo was fried it was good but probably would try something else next time. Crazy Tuna was by far our favorite and we will order again on our next visit!

So delicious and fresh. I can't wait to go back and try more wonderful things. Highly recommend the lettuce wraps and the sushi rolls.

The food was excellent! It was such a good price, and everything was super tasty! We got the dim sum pork and shrimp dumplings, panang curry, and cak ban roll. Our server was attentive and friendly.

J
Jorn Seemann

An absolutely pleasant experience. The table is even too small for all the food we ordered! The dishes have a different twist, creative Thai food. The crispy duck was spectacular, and servers and owners were very friendly. Great value, and don't forget to try the cocktails and give a good tip to the waiter/waitress.

Teak was actually very good! The vibe was a little busy for us because we made the mistake of booking a reservation on an FC game day lol so it was pretty loud inside. But I'm sure an evening on a non game day would be very nice and a little quieter! The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent! The food was hot and fresh and tasted wonderful! We got the Wok Seared Izumi Dai, the Volano Roll, and the Angry Dragon. I'd recommend all three! I'm sure we'll go back!

Great dinner date spot. Came to Teak on a Friday night, luckily found a parking spot right across the street. Nice and friendly staff with great food. I ordered the shirmp pad Thai. The pad thai was delicious and spiced just right. I also ordered a spicy California roll which was good. My dinner date ordered the seafood delight which they thoroughly enjoyed. Great portions and we had leftovers. Nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

The most wonderful soup I have ever eaten. I ordered the hot pot and it was delicious. My son loved his sushi. We also shared the crab rangoon appetizer. Everything was delicious. Our beautiful waitress was so sweet, and the atmosphere was laid back. This is the kind of restaurant you go to to relax and chat with a friend or loved one. The food was unmatched. Compliments to the chef 😚

Oh boy. If you like good Thai/Japanese food this is your place. I had some of the best Drunken Noodles and Green curry I’ve ever had in my life (I travel a lot as well) This is as close as you’ll get to Thailand. The spices were on point and made me sweat at 5/Green Curry 6/Drunken Noodles (they called it Spicy noodles I believe) get ready to sweat but not for nothing. The flavors are amazing!! 😍🤤🤤🤤 Loved the ambiance and our server was on it always filling up water and was very nice. The food did take longer than I thought it would but it was worth it. Highly recommend!!

We had a very pleasant visit to Teak OTR on 09DEC23. The Wonton soup was delicious. I had a ginger salad, and my wife and I split an order of Thai style Sweet & Sour stir fry with steamed white rice. Everything was very tasty; I'd eat here again.

Well first off the place is really cool. The bar is awesome and it just has great ambiance and vibes. I got the Panang Curry and it was delicious. They offer spice levels from 1-10 and I got a 7 - for someone who loves and eats spicy food that was perfect.

Love the new location. Food was excellent. I had sushi, sashim, egg rolls and pad Thai. They were wonderful and fresh. The new building is just a little too noisy, other than that you'll love it.

This dish was phenomenal! So good! The only thing I would do differently next time is ask for it to be a little spicier. This was a fun experience. Definitely reserve online or call if you have a bigger party... but definitely go if you visit Cincinnati!

Fresh flavors and melt-in-your mouth salmon and yellow tail. This is was perfect post-symphony bite. I especially appreciated the Gluten-free menu!

Absolutely loved the cocktails and food! Tyera was our bartender/ server and went above and beyond answering our questions about food and local whisky (we’re from out of town). We’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

Same wonderful menu as they had in Mount Adams. Had the Teak Trio (spicy 10) , hot and sour soup and a spring roll. Unfortunately, they were very busy (make a reservation) and I waited 45 minutes for my dinner (spoiled the ambiance despite the intimate dining room, but I still got lucky). Despite this fact, it was so damn good, I have to give them a five star rating. Just bring the food out a little sooner next time.

Really nice atmosphere and great service. We had some appetizers including the Dim Sum which I thought was fantastic. We had several different sushi rolls and all were really good! Will definitely dine here again.

We has two sushi rolls (spicy tuna and Flamingo) and two Thai entrees (Seafood Delight and Massaman Curry). Each dish was excellently prepared and served in large portions -- enough for lunch the next day. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. We had a very good experience and will return.

J

We visited for the first time yesterday and were amazed at the food. My cocktail was perfect (Watermelon Martini) and then we started with 2 sushi rolls. They were the most unique and flavorful rolls I've had in years. then we had the Jungle Noodles—Outstanding. The biggest shock was how reasonable our bill was for a meal so well prepared. Only small reason not 5 stars across the board was it could be a bit dimmer, not in love with TV's showing news when out on date night, music makes better ambiance. Can't wait to come back though.

amazing service from anjali!!! she was so incredibly sweet and answered every single question we had with a smile. she truly made our experience super pleasant. i will suggest to follow your server’s recommendation on spice level! i got a 4 for the pineapple fried rice and it was slightly too hot for me but anjali suggested i do a three. will definitely listen to her next time! great food, great service, great place.

Teal was great! Service was prompt and attentive. We had the lettuce wraps (which were great) and the sushi was really good as well. This is a great spot to grab dinner before a FC Cincinnati game or a date night.

This is a really cool place. Went here to get a drink prior to our dinner reservations at a different restaurant. However, we did end up getting the popcorn chicken app and Miso soup and both were very good. I did not rate the food since that is all we got, but everything that we saw came out of the kitchen looked amazing. The service was great and friendly. The restaurant gets busy very quickly. We got there at 5:20 or so and sat at the bar. At that time, there were only 1 or 2 tables in use. We sat at the bar and by 6:00, almost all the tables were taken and the remaining bar seats were full. Great place and we will definitely be back.

C
Cassandra Booth

Service was a bit overbearing, asking us at least 3xs in a 15 minute span for a food orders very shortly after being seated.

Y
Yashar Komijani

We were seated in the back room, which is a bit noisy and there is a constant draft. On the positive side we did show up with one more party than our reservation and appreciate that they accommodated us. The food was good, though there is no desert.

L
Luchia

The food was not really tasty. The seared salmon was like a deep fried and was with a bitter after taste and had a gooey sauce. The veggies were with a relief gooey sauce and they tasted like they were from a can..

I’m from out of town (Arizona) and we made a stop here for dinner. We ordered a …. •teak passion fruit margarita (rating 10/10 ) •Crispy duck (rating 7.5/10) •Sushi: Crystal roll (rating 3/10) , Crunch munch roll (4/10) Crystal roll was on chefs special. It didn’t have a unique taste and the eel sauce (in my opinion) threw off the taste Crunch munch was really salty and pairing it with soy sauce didnt really help dilute the saltiness There was also a hair stuck under the duck.

T

Beautiful interior but the food was below average and came out too quick to be fresh. Even the Thai green curry, which is relatively easy to get right, fell flat. And the staff started cleaning up while we were eating, which made us awkward

S
Samantha Ernst

Ok so the food is insanely good. We loved everything we had. But holy cow what terrible service. I do feel bad that it looked like only 2 girls were working as both server and bartender for the whole place, but as someone who was a server for years, they had terrible prioritization and time management. They obviously need more help and should have more servers. BUT, even if you are slammed you have to keep checking on people and seating new people and taking orders and passing out checks in a manageable order by timing of arrival. We watched 2 separate people come in, wait to be seated for almost 10 minutes without being acknowledged, and then walk out. We watched the servers seating people, taking their drink orders, taking their food orders, then going and seating more people before even once checking on any of the tables that were already eating or (like us) had been done eating for quite a while and we're ready for checks. It took us maybe 40 minutes to order, get our food, and eat it. It took ANOTHER 30 MINUTES just to get boxes, checks, and get our payment card back. And I think if we hadn't chased a server down to get the boxes and checks we would still be sitting there to this day. No one checked on us once from food drop off to us hunting them down for a check. Also, this is what the vents look like in the bathroom, and I can't tell you that ain't healthy or normal. They need to add a few serving staff and maybe a dedicated cleaner position. We would only ever get take out again, I really hope they pull it together because the food is so good and everything else was so poor.

Ordered sushi and a roll, the sushi rice was warm which was nice but the fish on top was paper thin. For the price the sushi was it’s mostly rice.

As a subscriber to a nearby theater, I dine at Teak quite often, at least once a month, and I have for years. I usually have as many as five or six in my party. The food is fine, as is the ambience, but the main reason I've gone there so often is because it's walking distance to the theater. On my most recent visit, something happened that has never happened at Teak OTR before, and it made me so angry that I decided to leave a review. Neither the food nor the ambience is worth tolerating what happened. I had a reservation at 6, and my friend and I had dinner. At 645, we paid our bill and planned to finish our drinks when our server asked us if we would give up our table and move to the bar. Excuse me? 45 minutes into my reservation with no more than 5-10 minutes left in which we would finish our drinks, and you want us to get up and move? Unacceptable and unprofessional.

S

The food is usually amazing here. I usually eat here a lot, through uber eats, but this go around I had a roach in my food. I tried to handle it with management and uber eats, before writing a review, but no one is trying to help. Have to hold businesses accountable, especially if they aren’t willing to help with a mistake that happened with your food. To reply to this businesses statement: This is the packaging you all use when dealing with Uber Eats and I’m holding you accountable for giving me food that had a roach in it. The picture is of your packaging and of the pork curry I always get, not of chicken. Good cover up though, make sure you all check the food after receiving it. I wouldn’t lie about a roach being in my food. Just wanted to get it handled and neither you nor Uber did anything, so I am leaving this negative review.

Bad experience. Decor was nice. Food not so. Pad Thai was dry and tasteless. Sushi was good. I told the manager and he said the manager knows what he is doing. Explained that I’ve traveled all over the country and Thailand and know a good pad Thai. But the Manager decided arguing and insisting it was good and I had said it was good was the right approach. Not going back. And do not recommend. Might be good sushi but don’t expect good management or expect anything to happen if you provide feedback to the manager. Oh! Also I asked for some hot sauce and they said I would need to pay extra. No thank you. As you can see, I added a photo of my pad Thai—untouched. I had 3 other dishes with my family and had asked the manager to take the pad Thai off my bill because I didn’t and couldn’t touch it but he insisted it was great and everyone loves it.

Disgusting food and service. Pad thai tasted old, sticky and lacked flavor and authentic thai seasoning/taste. Food camed out in two minutes(made on Friday amd popped in the microwave). Manager/owner camed over and stated "Maybe you should like it, bc she likes it, and you can't just come here and taste different things, I'm not taking that off" Disgusting disgrace. Left my tip and left restaurant.

Wow. Talk about rotten tomatoes. The women’s room has gorgeous high end chandeliers that are filthy. The flowers at the host area are dead. And the end table they’re on is filthy. The papaya salad mentions nothing about green papaya. My friend couldn’t eat it because it was so bitter. We asked our waitress to exchange it. Nope. I asked our waitress for a bar nap and she finally brought me paper towels from the women’s room. In the interim I asked a young man for a bar nap. He rolled his eyes and nodded at me. He did, however, bring back bar naps. I asked for the manager. Explained our experience. He said “it’s a green papaya salad” and “I’m busy” as he laughed at me. Wow. I loved this place when it was in Mount Adams. I’m sad.

M
Michele McCallion-Christner

The server was nice enough but forgot to bring utensils/napkin. So we had our food but couldn’t eat until our utensils arrived. It was a long wait and a long wait to get service initially. The view was stellar. The food was terrible. We were there for lunch and the choices were limited and not anything that tempted my palate. I had a salad and my husband had something else forgettable. We both agreed the food was terrible. There has never been a good restaurant there in all my years as a St. Pete resident and none that has lasted for long. I wouldn’t renew their lease. Maybe dinner is better?

J
Jasmine Wright

I order from here regularly, especially on evenings when I’m attending events at SCPA, so this experience was very disappointing. I placed a pickup order and later discovered the rice was undercooked, hard with a white center. Since I was already at a show and unable to return, I called simply to make them aware. The person who answered, who appeared to be a manager or owner, was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of listening, I was told their rice is cooked to a certain temperature, that leaving a bad review would be “good for them,” and then I was hung up on. Mistakes with food can happen. What’s unacceptable is the lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect toward a loyal customer. I spend money here often because of the convenience near SCPA, but experiences like this definitely make me reconsider where I choose to order in the future.

I was always on the fence about this place but would go back occasionally. Snobby, unfriendly servers, high prices, lukewarm mediocre food. But I had also had good experiences too so I didn’t want to leave a bad review - until today. I found two hairs- one gray and one brown (my hair is red)- in my yellow curry. Absolutely disgusting. I’ll never eat here again.
