This establishment truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and genuinely accommodating. The food was outstanding, prepared with exceptional care and attention to detail, making each dish a delight for the senses. Additionally, the live pianist added a charming touch, further enhancing the atmosphere and elevating the entire experience. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect outing. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.
We just had Birthday Dinner . Everything is Another Level up ! Its a must to go back ASAP🫶🏼😮💨 Thanks chef Santy and Team Primo Italia🔥
Loved our dinner experience here. First time at this place. We ordered the following: 1. Lamb shank with asparagus 2. Pear martini 3. Ravioli 4. Caprese salad Overall a great place and will be back.
Came by Primo Italia for dinner and had a pretty good experience overall. The place has a warm, slightly old-school feel, and the service was steady throughout the night. We tried a few things: the Gnocchi alla Romana, Branzino con Carciofi, Pollo al Mattone, Panna Cotta, and the Torta di Formaggio. The branzino and the gnocchi were definitely the highlights — both well-cooked and had good flavor without being heavy. The other dishes were solid and made for a nice, relaxed meal. If you’re looking for a comfortable spot for Italian in the area, this is a dependable option. I’d come back for the gnocchi and branzino again.
The food is just amazing here. I asked them why it tastes so good? And their answer: we ship all the ingredients from Italy! Now wonder.
Good food and great service! We always order calamari as appetizer wherever we eat that has them. They have the best so far! Food was a little pricey though.
Primo is not your average Italian spot, the recipes and flavors are truly authentic and have a running theme of being rustic in nature. The vibes were emaculate as we went on a Friday night and there was live piano that night. My family ordered two antipasti with the calamari and gnocchi, both had distinct flavors and the calamari was crispy without tasting too much like the ocean. The gnocchi was creamy and nutty, just perfect. The main course had excellent portions and the parpardelle was cooked al dente and the sauce was full flavored. I would recommend anyone in the area to swing by and give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.
A great place for delicious Italian food. The steak(filetto) is so juicy and full of flavor(amazing) ...unique. Very satisfied with the drinks and desserts. Love it when the pianist starts playing.
One of the best authentic Italian dinners I've had this side of the pond! The world class wine selection, fresh Italian pastas, salads, pizza, appetizers and entrees are amazing! We had the black Kale Salad, octopus appetizer, Pizza arabiata, linguini and clams and Ossobuco. Yes we had leftovers only because we could barely move after feasting!
I absolutely LOVED this place. The owners are so involved in their business and the love that they have put into the place is really obvious. The owner sings Frank Sanatra, etc on Friday and Saturday nights to a talented pianist. Between songs you could see him walking to tables and engaging his guests in pleasant conversation. The food was so good (the black truffle pasta was probably the best dish I've ever tasted) that we asked the waitress to give the chef our compliments. A little bit later, the head chef came out and thanked us all personally for coming. When we spoke to the owner, he told us about the family heirlooms and pictures that adorned the walls. I was told that the owner's wife sourced the wines personally, and we enjoyed a dry red wine with our meal. I plan on coming back here on special occasions. Blown away.
Food is excellent! Great menu selection, perfectly prepared food, and excellent service. Overall ambience is probably the best you can find in the Southbay regardless of cuisine. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine with a mix of central and northern Italian food (which is what you should be enjoying...), this is by far the best place you're going to find this half of LA.

We showed up on a Friday night without reservations and were accomidated very nicely. We had our own banquet room for most of the dinner, and the owner was very kind and graciously met us while we were leaving. The food was very delicious, and they made special plates for our kids upon request.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a great experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the live piano music made the night feel really special. The bartender Brandon was amazing — super friendly and made great drinks. Perfect spot for a nice evening out. Highly recommend! 🍝🍸🎹
Very good food! I would recommend the truffle pasta but it is quite expensive. The service was good and gave my little sister a kinder egg.
Nice place for a dinner date. Had a live singer. Food was amazing but definitely on the pricey side. Ordered a few entrees and wasn’t disappointed. Can’t go wrong with delicious Italian food. The service was as expected of a fancy restaurant. Attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is definitely worthy of taking dates you want to impress or celebrations of any kind. It could get a little loud cause of the live performance.

Primo Itali in Torrance is a fantastic spot. The atmosphere is classy and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or a date. The Wood-Fire Prosciutto Pizza was fresh and delicious, and the Tomahawk was cooked perfectly. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by for some quality Italian cuisine.
We initially avoided Prime Italia when it first opened a few years ago due to a previous disappointing experience with another Italian restaurant. However, we decided to have our wine group dinner there the day after Christmas since they could accommodate our large group of nine with a reservation. The restaurant is spacious yet retains a welcoming and charming ambiance. Despite being very busy, our waiter ensured our party was well taken care of. The ladies shared the Insalata Caprese, Capricciosa pizza, and Branzino con Carciofi. The sea bass was tender and absolutely delicious. The guys ordered the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, Pappardelle, Branzino, Primo Lasagne, and Pollo alla Parmigiana—all of which they thoroughly enjoyed. We had a wonderful evening and are excited to return for another meal!
Solid Italian Resturant in South Bay. Tried the Cesar salad, octopus and beef carpaccio for appetitser- have to vote the octopus as the best tender but chewy and grilled to perfection. The carpaccio is good but didn’t standout. The ceasar salad was bit disappointing. We also tried the homemade strozzapreti and tagliolini - both were delicious and taste authentic. Pasta was not overcooked and had a good chewy texture to it. Truffle pizza also outstanding. Portion size small for the price but it is a solid place to check out
Had a nice post-anniversary Friday dinner out at Primo. We requested patio seating, and were seated promptly at our reservation time. The service was very friendly and attentive (water glasses always full). I started with a well-crafted Negroni. The food was all quite good. The wild boar pappardelle was the stand-out dish, and the fresh warm bread with olive tapenade was excellent. I thought the pear and burrata salad would have been elevated by some bitter mixed greens to contrast with the richness of the cheese and the sweetness of the pear and balsamic reduction. The cannoli were very good with a freshly brewed cup of Lavazza decaf to round out the night. There was a live pianist playing for the evening, but I thought it was a bit loud for the space. I was grateful to be seated outside where we could still hear each other speak.

Went for valentines day. Service was great food was good but a bit pricey. They included the tip didn't appreciate that let me as a customer decide the tip. I would have just gone to The Arthur J. A bit gimmicky with that Ravioli shaped as hearts also it was thick.
Touted as one of the better Italian spots in the South Bay, but I was extremely underwhelmed. The food was all average, if not slightly below average. The service was decent, but our waiter had a sassy attitude. For the price you pay, neither portion nor flavor was worth it. Only giving it an extra star because the drinks are decent and ambiance was cute. We ordered a few drinks and shared appetizers; came out to about $100 per person. There is a free parking lot, but it's a slight walk with stairs. Not handicap friendly.

The front desk staff Giselle was incredibly rude and unprofessional to me and my group. When we arrived we were taken to the back where no one else was and when we asked if we could sit out front where everyone else was Giselle told us those are for reservations even though half of the restaurant was empty... After we sat down Giselle came back with another group of about 3 and when they asked if they could be seated in front she told them absolutely let me take you back there. So I told her, now wait we got here first and when we asked, you said no. Giselle completely ignored me and my group then smiled as if she did it on purpose. I was incredibly upset with how this place handled our situation. I asked to talk with a manager and they told us that no manager or supervisor was on site. So my group and I walked out which was very unfortunate because I loved coming to this restaurant and now I won't go back. Very unfortunate and such a horrible experience!! You should be ashamed!
