We held our team holiday party at GST (Greenwich Street Tavern), and it was absolutely wonderful! We can’t believe this little gem, so close by, had been hidden from our team for so long. The staff was perfect, and the food was outstanding. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

We came here for a semi private brunch event after our wedding. Very reasonable prices, great indoor / outdoor space, and Joe and the staff were extremely accommodating. We always come here for games / beers with friends and it always hits.

Couldn't be a bigger fan of this place. Joe, one of the owners, is super kind, fun, and responsive. I recently rented out the space on a Friday night for a birthday/Philadelphia Eagles watch party and the entire event was a huge success. Win was also a nice bonus! Everyone invited raved about the environment, attentive service, open bar pricing, and quality of food. Place feels like a second home as everyone is incredibly nice and welcoming. Definitely a go to neighborhood spot. Tribeca is better because of it. Fan Favorites on the Menu: Veggie Spring Rolls, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, NYer Sandwich

We hosted an open bar at Greenwich Street Tavern with family and friends and could not recommend this place more! Joe was so beyond amazing to work with and made sure the whole night went smoothly. The food was delicious and I absolutely loved the cucumber vodka they make in house! The service was incredible and we had such a fun night.

We were visiting from Australia. We stumbled upon this gem as we were walking back to our hotel and we are glad we did! It was raining so we got in to get out of the rain and have something to eat. The service from the get go was amazing, staff and servers as well as the owner were all friendly, talkative, had smiles on their faces and kept checking on us to make sure everything was okay. The steak and mushroom burger was the BEST!! Waiters kept filling our water glasses without asking which was good. Drinks were on point. We loved it so much we ordered on Grubhub 2 more time after this before we left NYC. This place is a MUST visit and definitely recommend.

Good place - we had lunch; friendly staff, classy environment. Had various sliders where the beef ones were a bit dry (bet benefit of the doubt that small patties go dry per design). The BBQ shredded ones were great!

Crap bar. Staff coddles and prioritizes out-of-towners (prissy Bostonites) over locals, and will have you removed for basically no reason. Imagine being thrown out for cheering too loudly for the Seattle Seahawks on Super Bowl Sunday. 1.5/2 star out of 5 place. Maybe they’re a bit better on irrelevant nights. But, if you’re looking to comfortably enjoy an event of this kind — go elsewhere. No room to stand or sit comfortably, either.

Unfortunately, our group had a deeply upsetting experience here. Two of my friends were loudly verbally harassed by another patron using a homophobic slur (that I haven't heard in years, let alone in nyc...) and making a threatening gesture. It was unacceptable, frightening, and immediately made us feel unsafe. When we reported it to the bouncer (Mike) & the owner on duty (Chris), we were told it would be “taken care of,” but the individual remained in the bar for at least 15 more minutes standing & walking next to our group multiple times. We ultimately chose to leave because we didn’t feel safe. The bar's response felt dismissive and placating, with more concern shown for a potential negative Google review than about the seriousness of the incident. A couple days later, I had an email exchange with the other owner (Joe) as he was not at the bar when I tried to speak to him in person. While it took a a couple exchanges for the situation to be taken seriously, I do appreciate that he responded, apologized, and refunded our $115 bar tab. Still, how situations like this are handled in the moment matters. I’ve also noticed that negative reviews here are often met with minimizing or gaslighting responses, which I expect and feel only reinforces our experience. Unfortunately, I don’t plan to return. Ending on a positive note: the bartenders were wonderful.

Look at how the owners respond to negative reviews and then ask yourself, "do I want to give them my money?" The answer for any decent human is "no." My friends and I had a scary, horrible experience at this bar - do NOT recommend.

Interesting, I didn’t know working at a mediocre bar entitled one to park directly in the crosswalk (spot the GST menu on the dash — real stewards of the community!)
