Avis sur Le Pain Quotidien Bogota
Had a simple, wholesome breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien in DC. I ordered the avocado tartine along with a fresh fruit bowl. The avocado was ripe and generously spread, topped with sliced avocado and light seasoning, served on their rustic bread. The bread had a good texture and felt hearty, which worked well with the avocado. The fruit bowl was fresh and colorful, with a nice mix of berries and fruit — light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. It paired well with the tartine and made the meal feel balanced rather than heavy. The overall vibe was calm and relaxed, perfect for a quiet breakfast or light lunch. This is a good spot if you’re looking for clean, simple food made with quality ingredients rather than anything overly fancy or rich.
We ordered breakfast items to go as we wanted to eat at our hotel. The croissants were great and the goat cheese and mushroom omelette was very good. The doughnut and Madeline’s were among the best I’ve tasted. The Dutch pancakes were delicious. It’s expensive but it’s DC.
Fantastic place for a lowkey lunch in DC! This location is cozy and clean, and the food is solid. Great spot to sip a coffee or chat with friends. My soccer team likes to stop by after our games, and Rocky and Kelvin are always so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
we popped in here for a quick bite and the service was INCREDIBLE! the gentleman at the counter (i didn’t catch his name, but he had dark hair) was so enthusiastic about helping us. he recommended the croissant cookie which was insanely delicious. 10/10!
The French cream donut is probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. My omelette meal with the fresh green salad was absolutely delicious. The home baked bread and the friendliness of the staff make this place perfect breakfast or lunch spot. The atmosphere is very nice in the restaurant is clean. A+ restaurant in Washington DC
It was so nice to find this gem before our visit to the People’s House. The croissants were so good as was the coffee, almost like being in Paris. The breakfast bowl was quite filling. We definitely ate more than we should have but it was all so good. The seating area was casual and relaxing and our waitress was very nice although it seemed like she could have used some help as there was a large party there
Great place for a quick bit and healthy breakfast. Excellent coffee and good prices overall. Try the breakfast bowl, which is tasty and good. Loved the coffee, very good quality. Organic products and large selection of options. Very European style. Good service and atmosphere
Le Pain Quotidien, located near the White House in Washington, D.C., offers a delightful dining experience. The atmosphere is charming, with beautiful decor that creates a welcoming ambiance. The food is delicious, making it a great spot for a meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and tasty dining experience in the area.
The food and the service was amazing. The ambiance is very relaxing and the music is relaxing. The food was very flavorful and healthy as well. I would definitely come back so I’m able to try the rest of the menu. The lemon honey ginger tea is something that you DEFINITELY NEED TO TRY lol absolutely amazing. I will definitely come back .
A contemporary industrial look. Welcoming atmosphere and a very laid back vibe. A nice place to meet for brunch or just because. My meal was the egg cheddar avocado breakfast sandwich and my wife had the skillet bake eggs with bacon and scallions. I was pleasantly surprised how delicous it was. My wife is very picky and she said it was scrumptious! Lol
Get ready to enjoy a European trip, cuisine wise at least, in downtown DC. I really enjoyed having breakfast here. My favorite spot was the comfortable chairs by the large windows. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I also liked their alternative milk options for their drinks. Check it out and let me know what you think 👨🍳👩🍳
Food was really great - very tasty and honestly for the area that it's in, pretty reasonable. My only complaint would be the service. The people were nice but it takes forever for them to help you if you are dining in. It made me wish I did carry out and just take it over to one of the tables myself
Was disappointed with the service. The waitress served cutlery on used napkins and didn’t clean the table as she didn’t think the table was dirty. Matcha latte was bland, tasted like warm milk. Food and drink served in cracked bowls. I found piece of rotten lettuce in the sandwich. Ordered water and never came. We were still eating and the waitress came to ask us to pay.
This place sucks. We have had few bad experiences in DC but this was the worst. 30 minutes to be acknowledged. Forgiveable... After sitting for an hour they tell us they are out of almost everything on the menu. So we ordered oatmeal, soup, and whatever else we could possible get. Then we got the food and coffee. Terrible. See pics of my atrocious and empty tomato mozzarella sandwich. Worse than gas station food. The reviews are not wrong about getting cold coffee in soup bowls. Service was HORRIBLE. Do not go here. Panera would have been a better option... What does that say
Awful is an understatement for how bad this place is. The sandwich pictured cost $16 and they couldn’t even be bothered to heat it. The bread was hard, meat was cold, and the cheese not melted. You can get a better ham and cheese at a gas station for a couple bucks and save the rest. Awful, lazy, and uninspiring food. Only saving grace was a very friendly server. She did a great job.
