The Station Cafe

This is a typical small town, no-frills cafe . . . with absolutely awesome food. We stop here every time we are anywhere close, and we are from Frisco, Texas where we have the choice of the fanciest, most upscale, quirky places to eat. The homemade biscuits with sausage gravy is a must. The grilled chicken salad is enough for two. And the coffee is some of the best we've had. The prices? Again, small town REASONABLE. The service? Great!

Hands down the best burger in miles!!! The bun SO fresh and the meat was juicy and came all the way to the sides of the bread!! They take CASH ONLY, so I had to drive to an ATM, but I would've driven 100miles to an ATM to repeat that meal!!! It is a hidden gem and a MUST eat!!!

Stopped by with my father after a VA hospital visit. Wonderful food great selection of different types and has that home town feeling as well. The waitress was super nice. If you have the chance to try this cafe Do it you would not be disappointed

I had some of the best chicken fried steak here that I can remember ever having. Hand breaded. Real meat. Oh! It was so good! I have only recently been willing to go to the TNT - I boycotted them for many years because of rude waitstaff and it was way too smoky. Well, it is now smoke=free. I've been twice and both times the servers were delightful. If you are in the Bonham area, give it a try!

Excellent food. Prices a little high, but portions are huge! I had the chicken fried steak with butter beans & mashed potatoes. Husband had open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and stew.

I am sorry that there is no six or seven stars I can give this place. The very best chicken fried steak I ever had. When they brought it to the table I thought they were kidding. Two plates full for one breakfast. Service was good and friendly. Be careful they don't have a sign in front and it's easy to miss but very worth while to find it.

My family has been going to breakfast here for about 20 years. It’s consistently good breakfast food but nothing fancy.

Y’all be nice. This place is full of super nice people that work hard. Every time I’m in town I come in to eat with my father in law. If your food comes out wrong send it back they will fix it. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Lady shanna is working hard to make everyone happy. She is only one person. I’ll be back in next time I’m in town.

This is a place that could very easily get 5 stars. The food was very good. The service was slow and the tables were dirty. When they finally did get around to clearing tables It appeared they were wiping them with dirty dish towels. I'm sure they were just stained though. They used the old short handed excuse but that is usually a sign of a management problem. We will give them the benifit of doubt this time. The waitress did a fairly decent job but the stress of being short handed was definitely showing. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, it was very good and huge, the steak was tender and the eggs cooked as requested. The home fries were a little unusual more like short French Fries with sautéed onions and bell pepper on top but were good. The gravy was OK but needed a lot of black pepper. Connie had bacon and eggs with hashbrowns. She said everything was good except the bacon was thin and tastless. The building is kind of older with no sign we were not sure we were at the right place. The price was decent for what you get but be aware they only accept cash and checks. With just a few minor change 5 stars could be in reach. They were pretty busy that's always a good sign. We would recommend.

TNT is a little hole in the wall diner, the outside isn't much to look at, and the inside is downright dingy. But if you're not worried about the visual ambiance of the place, it's an awesome place to get food like your Grandma used to make. When you look at the menu, you may think "Man that's kinda high." It will all make sense when you see the portion size they bring you. I personally don't get much attention from the wait staff which I don't care for, but it's not to the point they ignore you. They only accept cash, and refills on soft drinks cost extra.

Really good home cooked food! Waitress was nice. "Everything" seemed to cost extra. No free refills on drinks. However it had one if the best burgers I've had in a while. The double is about the size of a plate and as think as a large fist. (Each piece of meat being at least 1/2 to 1 inch thick. They do not accept credit cards, cash only.

Homey atmosphere a lot like the diners of the last decade. Wait staff friendly, made you feel welcome, and good at their job. Food well cooked and generous portions. I will definitely eat there again.

Atmosphere.... the place really needs an update badly I mean just a fresh coat of paint would make a world of difference !! But, that carries as much concern as the parking lot so... Today i had lunch with $4 tip I left $25 so $21 for 4 " SMALL " burnt chicken tenders mashed potatoes and small brown salad with tea. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT !!! WHY do i keep going back ?? It's convenient... right behind my house. But, enough is enough.... I'M DONE. Today's $25 burnt lunch on top of everything thing else there's plenty of other much better options around town now !! Do better TnT your sinking.

It looks like a dump. The mini blinds are broken and hanging down. Our table was dirty. There were No smiles.AND, the food was horribly greasy. I'll stick with Panther Row Eatery. I had a cheese omelet dripping with grease literally. I dabbed each bite on a napkin. When I removed the napkin from the table top, the table was greasy . I enjoyed the toast. The hash browns were also REALLY greasy. Never will I ever. For the price I expected more. 2 omelets. One TNT OMELET & one cheese omelet. 2 teas. $27.00. Never will I ever. Disgruntled customer. 😖 I saw one girl doing all the sweeping and the tables. Kudo's to her !!!! 👍

My first impression was seriously poor. I have eaten at hole-in-the-wall restaurants that the service and food is 10 times better. Idk if it's because they are short staffed, but I was very underwhelmed. I ordered the Spanish brekkie, and apparently the corn tortillas are cut up into the food. The server was happy but too rushed. The place could use a serious make over/update.

$15 for a to-go order of mixed scrambled eggs, hash browns, onions and sausage. No toast, salsa, nothing. Literally just a plate with those items mixed together. The flavor is good but really felt like an incomplete breakfast, especially for the price.

I will say the servers are friendly! Unfortunately we had a very slow experience here stopping through on a road trip. We love diners, but the wait staff here was slow and the kitchen was WAY slower. When our food finally did come, two of four items were wrong or missing something. Again, nice people, but I’m shocked it’s so highly rated and wanted to flag for others that this won’t be a quick diner experience at all!

Ordered steak and eggs I could not cut the steak with the knife they gave me and the waiter did not even come fill up our tea glass and my sister water glasses. Will not be back I noticed that the waiter was talking to everyone else should have talked to the manager.

Run down building, no sign outside, windows some are broke, inside it looked run down and that someone just gave up on it . Food my daughters wanted pancakes lady said they ordered a part two months ago. So we ordered burritos and biscuits with sausage gravy side of bacon. No flavor what so ever and bacon out of microwave. The price was expensive for this hole in the wall place. I wouldn't waste my time or money again on this place.

ZERO STARS Ordered bologna sandwich and fries and a canned drink That wasn't bologna. It was Spam! Had no flavor, and the bun was a greasy, wadded up mess. A little bit of Mayo slopped together. No ketchup or napkins were included. $14. BUYER BEWARE!!!! TERRIBLE FOOD!!! WAITRESS ALSO HAD A COCKY ATTITUDE!!!

Just let her go folks. This place might have been good many years ago but the restaurant is dirty and grungy, the food is unseasoned and greasy and the service is awful. We have tried it twice since returning to our home town in hopes of finding a new local diner to enjoy our family breakfast together and we were disappointed both times. This last time we arrived about ten minutes before ten o’clock because you can’t get a pancake after ten, we weren’t even given menus until 10:10 and then told us they wouldn’t serve us pancakes. I explained to them that they saw us walk in well before ten and that we specifically came for pancakes. She said the kitchen refused and so we left the waitress $5 out of pity and left. Can we please just lay the tnt cafe we all remember to rest and hopefully someone will open a classic full menu, all day diner in their replacement. The only thing I could recommend was the fried green beans but they did give my entire family diarrhea. Good luck and happy eating.

I visited this place early one morning, the waitress must've been having a bad day, because we waited 10 minutes to be served, then when she did approach our table, she slammed our menu's down and said what do you want to drink. I told her that we were going tot go somewhere else. She then asked me what we wanted from her, she is busy. This place used to be alot better now its disgusting. We'll never be back.

Mashed potatoes taste like mocha coffee. Vegetables are out of the can. Read a review about their pie kinda got hyped about it. Well we asked for pie and they don’t have any. Only had two vegetables available. Black eye peas or pinto beans. We waited on our food way to long as well. Not a place I will be eating again.

My hubby ordered the Denver omelet, since when does the Denver omelet have mushrooms, and not just a little bit either.
