My Mom and I visited Dos Chilies Grandest for the first time and it was delicious. We had a Great waitress! We will definitely go back the next time we are in Boyd, TX.

Excellent service. Food is fresh and abundant. You won't leave hungry. By the time our party of 5 left the place was packed. Menudo has rich red broth with honeycomb tripe. Bandera enchalida plate has 3 different enchalida/sauce combinations on one plate. Lots of dishes to choose from. Better go get you some.

Love this place! Food is always good. Staff is helpful. This is better than the other two locations.

This Restaurant rating is not accurate. They should be a 5 star. I had the cheese enchilada with rice and beans plate. I requested cheese sauce on my enchilada and charro beans instead of refried. They have the best charro beans I've ever had, delicious queso sauce, and you have a choice of hot or mild hot sauce with the chips. The hot sauce wasn't extremely hot and very good. I don't live here but we will be back with the rest of our family. Thank you 😊

Very diverse menu for a small town TexMex restaurant. I usually order the tortilla soup but went with the spinach and chicken salad, with the mango/pineapple dressing. One of my co-workers ordered the burger and said it was great. Shop small and eat local!

I have eaten here many times. To me this food is much better than all Mexican Restaurants within 100 miles! It is affordable and tastes much better than larger places. Calmer and quieter atmosphere, too. Go try and see for yourself./Rebecca K.

So we went here the night before thanksgiving so there wasn’t much of a crowd. Service was great from the time we walked in. We sat at our table and had the most amazing waitress she was very knowledgeable of the menu and answered any questions we had. Took our order correctly and filled our drinks and chips and salsa when needed. And the food was very good. Reminded me of home cooked food. It was served hot and delicious! If we’re ever in the are of Boyd we will be returning!

Service was superb! The food was incredible delicious with large serving sizes. The chicken Mexican pie was incredible. I had the leftovers for lunch the next day, so well worth what we paid.

Very impressive service and quality of food. The restaurant is very clean, it's been a while since las time I dine in at a restaurant where everything was outstanding. Since I walked in all the way to the end. Great job to the whole team. 5☆ for sure.

Parras was our server. She was great. Checked on drink refills and how things were at appropriate points in the meal. She was engaging with my 7 and 9 year old boys. Food was great as always, and delivered promptly. No shortage of chips and salsa either!

On thing you can always count on with Dos Chiles is that they're consistent! My favorites there are the Pollo Vaquero, Grilled Catfish, Fajita Grilled Stuffed Burrito Dinner and the Chicken Wrap. Their chips are always hot and crispy and the salsa goes with it perfectly. Their wait staff are always friendly and engaging. Stop by and give them a try. You won't regret it.

My husband and I catered our wedding rehearsal dinner from Dos Chiles Grandes. They provided ample portions for the price we paid. The Boyd location does not deliver but we were close by, so a friend picked up the food for us and dropped off the hot boxes after. We were very satisfied with the meal and would highly recommend them!

Very friendly and quickly got seated. It was great food and awesome chips. Could of made the salsa a little bit better, not so bland. But over all it was amazing

We absolutely loved our experience at Dos Chiles! Both meals we had were absolutely delicious and the service was spectacular. We went on a Sunday shortly after they opened and by the time we were leaving it was getting very busy. We absolutely enjoyed everything about our experience and we will be back very often! This has been added to our staple restaurants when we are in this area of town!

For a tiny little Mexican food restaurant tucked away down 114 in the country, Dos Chiles Grandes absolutely blew me away. The last time I had eaten Mexican food beforehand was at a place in Azle and it was absolutely awful and although I knew this place had to be at least a little bit better, it exceeded all of mine and my girlfriend's expectations. All of the hostesses and waitresses were so friendly and attentive, and the food came out looking fantastic and tasting equally as fantastic. After all this time, I may have finally found the best Mexican restaurant in town. We will absolutely be back!

Great Tex-Mex restaurant. Extended family all came for an early lunch after pre-k Christmas show. Nice, clean, unfancy building. Mild salsa was plain. Spicy salsa was delicious. My wife and I shared beef fajita vegetable stir fry special. It was plenty for two and delicious and very fairly priced. Flour tortillas were a good medium size and tasted perfect. Highly recommend for good Tex-Mex if you happen to be in Boyd.

I had no idea why my 80+ yo grandparents wanted to drive from Ft Worth to this restaurant. Now I do. I got the Laredo plate with a chicken and mushroom enchilada, a chicken flauta, and a soft taco. It was incredibly delicious, cooked perfectly, and the portions were huge. My flauta was amazing. The rice and refried beans were the best I've tasted. Nanny and Papa day they've been coming close to 20 years and the food quality has been consistently good. I would recommend Dos Chiles to anyone, and I wish I lived closer!

Family owned business in Boyd, Texas. We stopped in after the lunch crowd was there. Very organized and clean restaurant. Service was outstanding throughout our dinning experience. The salsa was the best that we've had in any restaurant, its made fresh daily and come in regular or hot. The food was made fresh and came out pippin hot. Looking at the orders other people placed filled the room with mouth watering aromas. The servings were enough to fill you up and were seasoned perfectly. The desert was out of this world we ordered the NY style cheesecake and the apple pie. When you stop in definitely save room for the apple pie. It come in a piping hot dish with ice cream. All deserts they have along with all the other dishes are true comfort food. Definitely stop in and enjoy one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. You won't be disappointed. We're definitely going back!

This place is great and we have been eating here for years. Personally my favorite is the southwest grilled chicken. The hot sauce is awesome but not the mild, it’s called hot sauce for a reason guys…. We will be eating here as long as they are around I’m sure, so good!!

My favorite dish is the Pollo Vaquero. Good solid Tex-Mex. Only fault is due to the City water messing with the taste of their drinks. Last few times I've been it wasn't as noticeable. Maybe a new filter?

J

The food here is exponentially better than El Cerrito in Newark, so it is worth the nine mile drive to get there from Newark. Honestly the service is where this place is lacking, but last time I was in Mindy was my server and she took phenomenal care of me.

M

Wonderfully tender beef fajita meat! Great cilantro salsa, all good food. Service was a little odd, bringing out one plate at a time with several minutes in between. Just go ahead and eat when you get it!

This is a nice place. The service is fast and the food is good. Our server was very attentive to our needs and made the visit even better. They offer hot salsa and mild. I like the hot best.

k

I had the brisket enchiladas they were really good. The only thing I didn't care for is the the menu didn't give you options for sides like tacos, tamales etc. Oh yeah when I went to the rest room my drink and plates were gone when I went back to my table. I didn't get to finish my drink.

C

Went to the one in Bridgeport about 13 years ago and wasn't impressed. Just happened to be in Boyd with the hungry wife and stopped in. So much better than before and really good service. We'll be back.

My first time at Dos Chiles. I wasn’t a big fan of the salsa. They offered mild and spicy. I chose spicy. I thought it was okay, but a little too hot that I couldn’t enjoy the taste. We had Beef & Bean Chimichanga and it was pretty good.

M
Mark

This is a quaint little country place, with excellent food and good service. The staff is following all the current guidelines for the virus, and the food was great. I had enchiladas and a taco, everything was tasty and served on a hot plate. If I could come up with any complaint, it would be the sweet tea is not sweet enough

It's a above average restaurant, the food was good but it's a small quiet restaurant overall.

Natasha Dingle
Natasha Dingle

The waitress took a while to take our order. There were only 2 other tables at that time. The food is a bit pricey in my opinion. We had thr Barbacoa plate, steak quasidilla and queso. Food was flavored well. The charo beans are bell pepper flavored so that was unusual to me.

Timothy Dingle

Food 4/5: The Playo de Barbacoa was ok. Nothing to write home about. Service 4/5: Took a while to get drinks but after we got rolling, service was ok. Atmosphere 4/5: Nothing special but it was clean.

Having grown up with a different style of Mexican cuisine, it's hard for me to fairly evaluate restaurants like this. Now, I'm going to whisper this next part, so lean in... I'm not a fan of Tex-Mex cooking. The burritos and tamales are on the small side, and the flautas? Well, let’s just say they aren’t quite flautas. Traditionally, flautas are made with flour tortillas—but here, they’re using corn. That, my friend, is called a taquito. But I digress... That said, Dos Chiles is a solid Tex-Mex spot. The location in Boyd has consistently been clean, and the service is always polite and attentive. As I've mentioned in reviews of similar places, it’s not somewhere I’d find myself craving in the middle of the day—but if Tex-Mex is your thing, you’ll probably enjoy it more than I did.

Alecia M
Alecia M

I hadn’t been to Dos Chiles in years and we got the enchilada dinner with a side of queso. 4 stars only because we remembered everything being a little more flavorful. I never add salt to my meals but everything including the salsa needed some salt. I’ll chalk it up to an off day in the kitchen as the service was on point even on a busy Saturday during lunch.

M
Matthew Duncan

The food is bland, the mild salsa basically just tomato juice and the "Hot" Salsa should be the mild and the tomato taste is strong in this one as well. I got the Chicken Flautas with Queso sauce. The chicken was bland and the meal itself lack any real flavor outside of the Queso sauce on top. Overall not really impressed and it wouldn't come up in conversation as a restaurant to try if you're in the area.

D
Debra Wakeland

With Gogo Gumbo down the street it’s hard to dine in the second best restaurant in Boyd, Texas while one is missing the best. Small town dinning is good but the food was simply fair. It wasn’t all that and a bag of chips. It works for the Community but won’t be getting Bud Kennedy out anytime soon.

S
Stephen Mock

I was on my way home and called in an order for some chips and salsa. I was asked “mild or hot”. I hadn’t been to the restaurant in many years so I didn’t remember what “hot” actually meant so I opted for mild. When I got home I was very disappointed to find that I had been given crushed and puréed tomatoes! This isn’t me being “ridiculous” or “dramatic”…there was nothing to flavor it, onions, cilantro, SALT…nothing! Haha. I suppose that’s my penance for being a pansy and fearing how “hot” might be! Haha. This review is merely meant for awareness for anyone that’s considering stopping by for a to-go order of chips and salsa. Might want to get the hot if you want something other than a can of puréed tomatoes poured into a styrofoam cup! Haha

J
James L (Jflash26)

Decent location. Had to ask for refill on the chips. The lunch fajitas were bleh for the price. Probably take my business elsewhere for the actually price. Decent location to eat just a bit pricey for the quality of the food.

O
Omar Otero

Decent food, only real complaint is that prices were about 20% higher than other close by restaurants. Ordered the Chile relleno, ranchero sauce was a little bland and the cheese needs to be asadero to give it that authentic salty savory flavor. They may be using mozzarella because the cheese was very flavorless. Nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. But overall not a bad experience.

D
Debbie Plackitt

Food came out quickly. Rice was cold. Took awhile for chips and salsa to get to table which came after food.

V
Vic S

Well this is neither a good review or bad review. I actually was planning on taking pictures of my food but when it came to the table I just couldn’t do it. None of our plates looked appealing. The smell was very nice, the rice and beans were pretty good, but any of the protein in our dishes was just, meh. No real favor. The “2 pork chops” when stacked on top of each other are actually equal to about 1/2 of one normal size pork chop. Super thin, slightly tough, didn’t finish it. The chicken fajita meat was super dry with no real flavor, that plate wasn’t finished either unfortunately. Both meats were tangy, if that makes sense. The cheese for dipping our chips in was bland with a canned cheese flavor. The servers were nice and they did a good job. The temperature inside the restaurant was 81° and it was 90° outside. Uncomfortable. I guess for Boyd, TX it’s about as good as it can be…? Years ago I had the chance to eat at the Bridgeport and Bowie locations. This location doesn’t hold up to those. I can’t say that I can recommend this location.

j
judah hoag

Place actually has pretty decent food itself. Have only ordered the iced tea once because it tasted so bad. I think it is the tap water? Guessing filtration is needed. Seems like I have always had great service as well, so that's good. I would say it is almost completely lacking in decor and ambiance however. Terrible office style overhead florescent lighting and acoustic tiles.

R
Richard Nib

Came here while we were out riding the motorcycle & decided to give it a shot. Will probably give it another shot but i can Guarantee neither of us will order what we did today. The bad: The chips were refrigerator cold, the salsa is literally tomato paste & The Barbacoa tacos I had were very tough & chewy (schredded) & tasted like a roast out of the oven with Very minimal flavor. The sweet tea had a weird taste & maybe Just had a hint of Sweet to it. The good: The Charo Beans are Amazing, the service was good & the people (servers) seems nice & friendly.

Sylvia Cross
Sylvia Cross

Tried calling in a pick up order. Their phone line wouldn't except calls. Also the prices on their website are wrong. I was told the prices changed 3 years ago.

S
Shelby

Alright, we’ve given you guys at least 5 tries. But you won’t replace the one cook in the kitchen that consistently UNDERCOOKS the fajita chicken. Even when I’ve ordered it well done it comes out with an unsettling texture even though it’s “tougher”. Other than that, this place has potential. Hard working and attentive servers, chips and salsa come with the meal, homemade tortillas...yeah, that’s why we came back 5 times before cutting ties. Now it’s worth driving to Decatur instead. Like my meat cooked right. Kinda ruins the whole meal otherwise.

B
Bryan Gabric

We went there recently and did not have a good experience. We ordered queso and never received it, but they still charged us for it. When we asked about it, the waitress took it off our bill but never apologized or acknowledged she made a mistake. Her response was "oh i guess 'they' forgot it." who is 'they'? youre our waitress. Additionally, they brought one of our dishes out, but the other one didn't come out till 10 min later. I ordered charro beans and got refried beans. The food was OK. The service was not great and it seemed like they were understaffed. We got there around 6 or 630 and it seemed like thats when everyone started piling in the restaurant all at once and the waitresses were getting quadruple sat. I used to wait tables so i totally understand what its like and overwhelming it can get when a crowd rushes in and there are not enough people, but these people had no hospitality or customer service. We just kinda felt like we weren't that welcome and an annoyance to the wait staff.

W
Will Collier

Wife and I finally stopped in. First (and last) time. Way over priced and the food was horrible (bland, no spice, cold). Service horrible. I left most of my Taco meal on my plate. I’ll drive to Decatur if I absolutely have to have Mexican food (or just make it at home). Super disappointing.

W
Wanda Parker

Today I am giving you a 2 star rating when you have had to correct my order three times. When specifically advised highly adverse side effects to onions and peppers she thought I said no peppers extra onions. Order was remade and mushrooms were left off. Ok, bring out some grilled mushrooms. You rebring out the three combination of onions, peppers and mushrooms. My food is beyond cold by now. Just bring out grilled mushrooms 5 minutes later after all my food is so cold it has to be taken home and reheated. Your waitress needs better listening skills and learn to repeat the order for accuracy. Training folks!

M
Mosezell Magee

The people who gave this restaurant 5 stars obviously had a different experience than us. The salsa tastes like puree canned tomatoes with no seasoning which prompted us to order queso. I didn't know queso could be bland, but it was too. We held out hope fore the food, but like the other two was also very under seasoned. We were so disappointed after reading the excellent reviews. None of the food had seasoning.

F
Fouszel

Went here to catch a quick bite between basketball games, I ordered the pork tamales and spicy salsa. The salsa was good didn’t taste cheap with fresh cilantro in it. The chips didn’t taste stale as well. The biggest issue I had was the tamales, when I got them they looked delicious but after the first bite I could tell there was absolutely no flavor or seasoning in them. The same goes for the rice as it looked normal but somehow tasted like air. So I decided to use the pepper and salt shakers to try and make the 12 dollar tamales, rice, and beans taste better but all it did was make it a little salty and peppery. The service was alright and we got our food within 15 minutes of ordering.

K
Kiersten Luna

Gross? Both my fiancé and I had bad meals. No flavor, on either of our brisket meals. Our waitress was friendly and the place was clean. It was expensive though, $30 for each of us and the person cashing us out was snobby. Much too busy talking with her coworkers to want to help us, no eye contact and short responses, rude. I get this is one of the only larger establishments in Boyd but I’m never going back and I don’t recommend you try it.

S
Skylar Furgerson

Food was good, and the service was subpar. My opinion of the place has definitely gone down as of today. My grandma doesn’t make that much money and took all of us out for lunch for my birthday… there were 6 of us. After we finished we packed up and left and my granny had my uncle stay back and pay as she has a hard time walking. Well while he. Was paying she sat down outside and we all stood there with her waiting on my boyfriend and my uncle. The bill was $120 and my uncle tipped $12 cash. The lady who works the front with the tattooed eyebrows came outside and said “I don’t mean to be rude, but the waitress deserves a tip.” In front of everyone. My grandma looked so embarrassed and my uncle and husband told her that there was a tip left. He had handed it to the waitress herself and claimed we didn’t tip… the lady said “No she needs a tip” so my uncle went back in and threw a couple more dollars down. We definitely won’t be back.

T
Tiffany

Tried this place out for the first time and unfortunately wasn't impressed. The water and soft drinks tasted salty, the beans needed salt desperately and tasted really off. The salsa tasted like ketchup or just straight canned tomato sauce mixed with crushed canned tomatoes, there were no jalapenos or onions, it really was terrible. I did enjoy the rice, but other than that the food was bland. Portions were nice, the servers were nice and the place was clean.

B
Bill Powell

I got the child's plate enchilada dinner @ $8.95 a plate. 1 enchalada, topped with melted cheese, and bland beans and rice. A bag of greasy unsalted, semi stale chips and watered down picante sauce with no flavor. I'm curious if they actually have cooks or just can openers. I would not recommend eating there.

B
B Miller

First time stopping here to place a to go order. We would have given them more stars but they shorted our order and forgot the chips and salsa. Mundeo taste like they didn't stir the pot beforehand so it was extremely salty. Enchiladas were great except we had no salsa. Is a little over price for the quantity you get.

M
Misty Walters

Great service but this is the third time we have been here and I always say that I won't be coming back. If you like bland foods then this will be just fine. I can tell that they use quality ingredients and the meal is always hot. I like more seasoning, more flavor. Like if I were to make a spinach enchilada I wouldn't just steamed up some spinach and throw it in a tortilla with cheese and call it good. I would chop it a bit, season it and saute it up and get some of the water out of it then assemble my enchilada. The beans and rice I have found to be never seasoned. I understand adding your own salt but they have no flavor on their own. The cheese dip is soupy and just has a bit of bell pepper flavor. Not a bad place, just not my favorite.

C
Chris Fields

Server was very nice. The food had no spice at all. Did not satisfy my craving for Mexican food. Won't go back.

J
Jennifer Cahak

I don't usually leave reviews but this place was bad. The salsa has no flavor, my kids kept dipping their food in it thinking it was ketchup. The steak tacos were not seasoned well. The beans and rice tasted like they came straight from a can/box. My toddler wanted chicken nuggets. I'd compare them to McDonalds. My other kiddo ordered the kids nachos. They came with 4 chips with melted cheese and beans. My son didn't even finish the 4 chips. I'd go the extra distance to Rosas near TMS next time.

b
bill struble

Thought that this was a nice place to take my wife for her birthday, then afterwards they had the gall to call my work and told a co-worker that I need to wash my hands before I come there next time. I work behind a counter and am constantly washing my hands, especially with this virus stuff going on. I will never set foot in that place again!!!

G
Gathie Mosley

1 star because otherwise I can't post . Food was nasty , refried beans tasted burnt, the rice was dry, service slow and the mild salsa tasted like the juice out of a can of tomatoes , I will not visit again the price is not worth it.

L
Lilah Palacios

Wish their was more restaurants in this area... the times I have gone Ive called to place an order they seem to forget something each time!!! and food is pretty bland!!! :/ the water is disgusting. They don’t filter their water. From now on I’ll make the drive to Fort Worth!

S
Shelby Brock

Wouldn't go back. Overpriced and lacked flavor. I have had better grub at Taco Bueno.

D
Darrell Martin

Service was good but is now horrible. Orices are very high. Food is average at best. Refused to add a hot dog to a kids meal without buying a whole other meal. That alone is going to cost them 100s from our family and our guest alone. The manager has changed things up and has brought the place way down. I love keeping it local but until they change things our family can drive to Springtown Paradise or Decatur for better food services and prices.

M
Micah Ray

This place is over rated. Do not get the grilled chicken special on Sunday it was very dry like sitting under a lamp all day. No refills and no one come to check on how the food was. Service was a zero.

R
Robbie Tullos

Will probably never go back. The wait staff are NOT really nice nor attentive. The food, OMG the food....I couldn't even get it down. The salsa taste like tomatoes, fresh out of a can, the spicy salsas is just a bit better than that. The meat was like a T.V dinner.... There was no flavor, the texture was horrible and the grill marks seemed fake. I will never be back.! I'd rather buy Taco Bell; or one of those Mexican frozen t.v dinner!

K
Kim Hull

The food is OK. Don't even think about asking for an extra tortilla unless you want to buy a dozen. Picked up an order of fajitas to go last night that I was sharing with my husband. When I asked how many tortillas came with it the girl said 4. I asked for just one extra and was told no they only come by the dozen I said you can't give me one extra. . "no" . So when I picked up the order I told the manager what happened. She said yes that's just the way it is. We just do what we are told. They just lost a customer over ONE tortilla. What has happened to customer service these days !

K

Not the tex-mex I had in mind... I guess I'm use to hot and good cooked food. No taste, the lemonade tasted like water and sugar, the charro beans tasted like canned beans....I know because when I'm in a hurry I open up my cans but they should had spiced them up a little. The only thing I liked from this place was the waitress, she was nice, sweet and very honest.

I would like to point out I am in fact from Houston. Mexican food is my favorite. This was by far the worst Mexican food (if you can even call it that) I have ever had in my life. The “salsa” I’m pretty sure picante sauce and enchilada sauce mixed together. My husband nor I finished the food.

Boyd water tastes horrible but this also makes the tea and other drinks taste bad. Get a filter or something! Food was bad. Service slow at best and you had 5 people standing and talking around the register instead of working on customers. We've been away from the area for a few years and was glad to come back but i don't think we will eat here again.

Ordered take out, order was wrong, and feel like we were overcharged for quality and amount of food. Couldnt eat it, so will be ordering pizza instead :( next time I will waste my $ somewhere else. Sopapillas were overcooked and hard to chew, tacos were soggy and meat tasted funny. Enchaladas had no meat just filled with plastcky cheese. Lady at the front was very nice & I didn't check order before paying and leaving.

I am not sure if the people giving this 5 stars, saying that this is the best mexican food they have ever had ate at the same place we did. The salsa tastes like tomato sauce with some seasonings, we mixed the mild and hot which made it a little better tasting. The food was bland. They need to think about changing recipes 😒 They were very attentive and nice though. That's about all I got.

Bad customer service and very pricey for the portion of food that is given.

Will not return, 4 beef enchiladas with queso were just chewy yellow cheese,-nobody will eat, crispy beef tacos were soggy and had extra tomatoes when I requested no tomato-mt kids can't eat. 4 large salsas are big but come with small bag of chips, sopapillas were ok tho. Paid $80+ for this with no drinks and now how to figure out something else to feed my kids for dinner. Lady at front was very nice was the only plus side. Very disappointed.

I don’t wanna sound over critical this establishment, but I will be honest upon walking in found atmosphere to be rather dull or no color or what not on the walls and a little sterile. I was bored. The service was timely and not over . Now sadly I have to say the food was not good. The cheese dip was fresh (from a can). I could taste that it was canned and horribly bland. My protein, beans and rice had no flavor and I could not eat it

This Mexican food restaurant while puts out their food. It’s nothing spectacular. Upon checking out I find out that they offer no discounts for veterans Otherwise, and it is Hispanic owned. They don’t seem to understand the fact that many military personnel have wrist and given up their lives so they could have a chance at the American dream and get out of Mexico. This total disrespect for a veterans stepping up front and standing in front of the bullets and come home and get shafted by a Mexican food restaurant that’s owned by Hispanics If you feel it important to treat our veterans with better respect and discounts, especially from folks that are immigrants from other countries is a travesty. Spread the word to all veterans, Senior citizens that NO DISCOUNT FOR YOU!

I've seen this restaurant from the road and recently thought I would give it a try, because I was looking for something new. Even after reading multiple reviews that were one star I thought, well everyone's taste is different, so I'll go ahead and give it a try -that was a big mistake. I was given a choice of mild salsa or hot sauce for my chips - I asked for both. The mild was way too tomatoey and the hot was not hot at all. I ordered the beef enchilada with sour cream dinner and ugh... Right off the bat the rice looked pretty dry so I threw some salsa on it. It honestly didn't help. The refried beans were extremely bland and while I could taste a little bit of this seasoning on the meat, it tasted like something from Old El Paso mixed with a boatload of grease. To my knowledge this is the only Mexican food restaurant in Boyd, which is probably why they have the clientele, but I can't understand why it's constantly packed because this is really not palatable at all. And as far as the atmosphere score goes -the other reviews about the walls are spot on. Yes, they are absolutely bare and there's no music or anything to add to the ambiance. They took the charge for the meal off my ticket, but it still cost $9.23 for the small queso and a drink, which is an absolute rip off because the queso was five bucks and it was bland too. Oh and to add insult to injury, I got hit with a fee for using my credit card. This is definitely a place I will never come to again and I would certainly not recommend it. The waitress even commented about how another employee had gotten something that was too greasy and stated that they had talked to the cooks about it. Obviously they just need to replace their cooks.

I've been here a few times. Not much of a choice being in a small town. However, this will be my last time. About 4 minutes into eating our fajitas, they decided to clean the restaurant with what seemed to be undiluted cleaner. It was so overwhelming we had to leave. There was no way to enjoy our food. Brought it up to the manager lady running the cash register, "awe, that's too bad" was her response. Of course, I didn't expect much from her since the words on her business attire said, "I don't care." She really didn't. So, unfortunately, for Dos Chiles, I will not be back.

The first time I went it was good, but this time not so much. I had the arroz con pollo and the rice was hard and the chicken tough. The flavor was good though. Then I tried the fried ice cream and I don't believe they fried it. It seemed like soggy corn flakes mixed with ice cream. It was disgusting. I hope that is not the fried ice cream everyone goes on and on about because I have never had it before. It did not look like the picture though. On a good note the service was awesome!!!
