It’s a hole in the wall. However, the food is really good! The chicken soup is hands down 10 stars

We had the oxtail and some jerk chicken . Although I’m not that familiar with Caribbean food , we loved it . Very tender meats and flavors. Great food .!

As many times as I passed this on Broadway, I'm glad I found it today 🙌 At first glance, the place just blends in with Broadway other restaurants But as soon you step in the place, the atmosphere of the place takes you over. The music is the ambiance of the place makes you feel like you're in the Caribbean itself ... The food was so amazing the spices and portions size were very affordable and filling

Must I say this soup is beyond delicious. It’s hearty, packed with flavor and cooked with love. You can taste all of it. I also had the fried chicken seasoned to perfection. And the fried shrimp. Mouth watering. Go now!!!!!!!!!

Ran 13.1 miles from LIC to this place. It’s 3.5 miles away so I had to take some detours to get in my long run (took queens bridge, 59th street cross town to west side, Hudson River park down to canal, then cross town two Williamsburg bridge). About 8 miles in, I wanted to stop and get refreshments, but the thought of trying the food at this place kept me going. Wow was it worth it. I ordered the large combo platter with stewed oxtail and curry goat. AMAZING flavors and great texture. The oxtail was very tender. The sauces were both excellent on rice. Even the veggies were seasoned perfectly. Got another oxtail platter to go. Was disappointed that the jerk chicken were temporarily sold out when I tried to order for to go. Told the amazing ladies behind the counter that I had waned to have my toddler try the jerk chicken. One went to the back and came back with 2 small pieces of jerk chicken even though the rest were still cooking - that’s great service! I wasn’t able to finish my large combo plate. On top I had 2 more dishes I ordered for to go. The lady knew how to combine and pack the bags for me. Everything stayed intact through my subway trip back to LIC. Will be a regular at this place.

This restaurant checks all the boxes. Good food, great service, cozy. I went for brunch with a friend, knowing that Peruvian food is good. It was lunch, so not everything was available, so i need to go back to try those specialties.

Get a goat curry and ask for extra gravy! The spot has such a nice homey vibe, everyone is very kind and friendly, and it's great to see families hanging out over some Jamaican music. A new happy place in the neighborhood.

Can’t believe this place has barely any reviews. I was looking for a place to eat near the Mrytle and Broadway station and wasn’t messing with all these recommendations food websites were giving me. I saw this place was next to a bar I was going to and peeped the few reviews on here cheering on the food. So I gave it a shot. I ordered the jerk chicken meal and it was seriously some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. I’m never in this part of NYC but I’m definitely coming back here if I hit the area again.

The best chicken I've ever had!!! Super tasty and cooked to perfection!!! Really good rice and pasta! The guys are super nice and friendly! They welcomed us really well! You have to try it!

I truly don't understand how anyone could give these guys anything but a 5 star review. I suppose experiences are subjective to each person but the jerk chicken and Mac and cheese are objectively phenomenal. These guys are the TRUTH!

Good food, Great People, first time trying Jamaican food and Kevin hooked it up! Excited to try more. The meat was tender and rich, the rice helped balance the flavors.

I have been there a few times, but on my last visit there I tried something different. The vegetables was delicious and flavorful as well as the fish. Will definitely have the fish and vegetables with fried Plantains again.

Hmmm, I have to say never go to these places late in the evening because you gonna get what's left. Imma give them another chance but this time I wasn't impressed at all. I had the fried shrimp and rice and peas with some plantains. The shrimp was kind of rubbery and hard to bite. I guess being under the light it dried it up. The rice had burnt parts in it so that made it crunchy. They have a menu on the window but they don't go by it smh. That's a turn off for me cause they should honor what's there or change it. Anywhoz I just don't know about this one.

While the food is delicious, the service could use improvement. They don’t open on time for breakfast, and one of the female servers consistently appears irritated — no smile or friendliness. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when the person serving the food seems to have an attitude.

I had a very unpleasant experience here. After placing my order and waiting in line to use the bathroom, a very short man who appeared to work there suddenly came out and started yelling aggressively at me and another woman, telling us to leave. We explained that we were paying customers just waiting for the restroom, but he continued to be rude and disrespectful. My sister was still inside the bathroom when this happened, and the man kept getting in our faces, speaking in an extremely unprofessional and hostile way. The way he treated the women in the restaurant made me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. I would not recommend supporting this establishment. No one should be treated like that, especially paying customers.
