Cool little spot! I only went because it was close to my place but I liked it. The Carribbean nachos are very good as well as the garlic rice. Also I had never had a Carib lager and that was really good.

Out of many vegan plants based restaurants, I would say HAAM is the first and only restaurant so far where the food was delicious. I mean each dish we ordered, hmmm 😋, the atmosphere was calming and played good cultural music. The menu is a combination of Carribean and Hispanic vegan fresh dishes, not to mention the tasty drinks. My favorite is the fresh coconut water straight from the coconut and the freshly made soursop ice cream, my new favorite go to dessert. Had a great date night, my husband and I loved it. We definitely will be returning. Great job to the owners, will definitely recommend to everyone. Looking forward to your expansion, many blessings. 💕

I’m not plant based in the slightest. This has been saved on my to visit at some point when I was with someone who was and it did not disappoint. The space is beautiful and we go lucky that we were able to be seated right away, had a great sever andddd it’s half off apps for the owners birthday (big Cap energy!) My goal wasn’t to find meat alternatives but to leave there having eaten a good meal. The food was flavorful and well seasoned. The drink was very tasty. Big shout out to the island onigiri and the empanada trios. Need to go back and do the entrees on my return.

HAAM was absolutely amazing. The waitress , she was a doll. Very helpful and sweet. My lady and I loved the Nachos, it was plenty for sharing! And Omg the flavor! The guacamole, the con queso was so flavorful. Then I noticed the sweet plantain. Omg I was in love. And it had a nice touch of heat also. Then I ordered the mofungo with the oyster mushroom for myself. It tasted so good. As a longtime lover of mofungo, I was totally impressed. She ordered the steak, yellow rice and black beans. Oh my lord. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The steak was amazing. Seared to perfection. The cassave pone dessert was great. However that cheesecake passion fruit was over the top. So exquisite. The flavors were amazing. I cant wait to come back again. Excellent service 5/5

A burst of Caribbean soul delivered through clean, plant-based cooking. I started with the mofonguitos and the empanada trio both crispy, seasoned right, and full of real island character. My entrée was the mushroom burger with yuca fries, and it surprised me with how juicy, flavorful, and satisfying it was. The hibiscus margarita tied everything together with that bright, floral kick. The space feels warm, intentional, and full of culture. Service was friendly, the energy was positive, and every plate tasted like someone cared. HAAM isn’t just healthy it’s flavorful, creative, and rooted in the Caribbean spirit. I’ll be back.

June 2025. All 5 ☆'s. Being able to sustain a frequently tasty vegan menu with an array of colors, flavors (i.e.#yucca fries), mocktails, and music to vibes too is no small thing. Even if you're not vegan pop up, pull in, give this entity a try. Thank You I R I S your customer service was commendable both during the dinner visit and lunch the next day.

I went to HAAM Caribbean Plant Cuisine for the first time, and it did not disappoint! It’s a Dominican and Trinidadian spot with a vegan twist and I didn’t know vegan food could taste this good. I tried the Callaloo & Cheese Wontons, Empanadas, Sweet Plantain Boat, Ya Mutha’s Mofongo, and Chimichurri Chunk Steak. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!

🌿💚15/10 ..I Went with my sister , and EVERYTHING was amazing The best Hands Down! We had the ceviche, loaded nachos, fried oysters mushrooms, macaronipie, and pink potato salad My sisters entrée was a fried oyster mushroom burger with yuca fries My entrée was the Steak with coconut rice black beans and plantain.... It was sooooooooooooo Good I couldn't believe it .. the FLAVORS,the TEXTURES, the presentation EVERYTHING ! We had to take the desert to go because We were so full. Our Host/waiter's name was TRIP and he was the absolute best, polite and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. He suggested the cheesecake we took it home but didn't try it until the next day. It did not disappoint just AMAZING. This had my sister and I Shook!! THEE BEST CHEESECAKE WE EVER HAD IN OUR LIVES. I can't stop raving about this place. 🙌🏽🌿

I came with my friend who visited from out of town and is vegan. He absolutely loved it. I myself couldn't believe it was vegan it tasted so good. The drinks were amazing. Service was top tier. And we were the vibes on a Wednesday. Will definitely be back!

Very friendly greeting when I entered. The dimmed lights made the atmosphere feel warm and intimate. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu choices and the food was delicious! I especially liked the Chimichurri Chunk Steak and the spinach on the Roti plate. It was so flavorful, just like my momma used to make. So good! Special thanks 🙏 to the owner who took the time to talk to us and answer our questions. She was delightful and very gracious! Highly recommend and hope to see you there!

Absolutely amazing food and experience from start to finish. It’s a beautiful space with large open windows and kind staff. We ordered: • Island Onigiri: flavorful Caribbean spin on classic Japanese onigiri. very tasty, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. • Patacon de Jerk Mushrooms: plantain sandwich with crispy tofu! all the flavors paired perfectly. I normally don’t love pineapple in savory dishes but it worked well here. • Yuh Motha’s Mofongo: MUST TRY! this was my entree and by far my favorite item. every part of this dish was so delicious and I finished off every bit of the curry sauce because it was that good. they were also able to switch the fried mushrooms to sautéed to make it gluten free which was appreciated. this place deserves more hype! I’ve been to a lot of the top vegan restaurants in the city and this is now one of my favorites.

I highly recommend this little cozy vegan plant base spot for all. The food was fabulous for plant base and I love their Hibiscus Cocktail drink, which is what I had a few of and loved it. My husband is Vegan and reason why we came to this spot for the first time and all I left to say, we would return for more eats, drinks and treats. Every one of the workers in there is friendly and always asking if you okay and all is well, love it. Coming back soon Haam !

I'm busting with glee. I've been to HAAM several times over the past couple of months. The service, hospitality, food, vibes are consistently exceptional. Each time I've come, I've tried a different meal. Looking forward to returning with friends as the weather warms up. It's great to see the genius, chef, and owner of this wonderful establishment show out in heart with the meals and environment she's created. I always feel welcomed, honored and leave belly full every visit. The experience is seamless and easy -- From making my reservations to the waitresses checking in to the food that is prepared with thought and love. As I've expressed to them personally, keep doing what you're doing. HAAM, this Brooklyn staple will last far beyond its years Run, don't walk to support this great eatery. Stay a while, enjoy the music (which makes me feel like I'm home in the Caribbean, smile, laugh with fellow guests and take a salad bowl home!! Kudos to the owner and this empire she's built!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious, the decor reminds me of the islands and the servers are very friendly. On some days the owner/head chef comes out and greats the patrons which makes the dining experience more special because she lights up talking about her family, background and how it influences her cooking. This place is a vegan Caribbean paradise with rich flavors and vibrant colors bursting through each dish. My only request is that I need another nut-free dessert option and bake & shark is “a must” for every menu (there were none available this afternoon). Go, enjoy and thank me later.

I had an amazing experience at Haam Caribbean Plant Cuisine! The food was absolutely fantastic, bursting with rich, authentic flavors that really brought the Caribbean to life. The restaurant is small. The service was good. The food was not good. We did not enjoy our meals at all. The menu online and what we were expecting was not what was being served. I would not recommend this place and I would not visit again. I really wanted to love this place and was looking forward to eat here but was greatly disappointed.
