Avis sur Win Son Brooklyn
An absolutely fantastic meal. Every dish tasted authentic and fresh. It didn’t have that oily taste or left over flavor. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned expertly. Standouts were the Lu Rou Fan, the lobster rice noodle, the beef roll, and the pea shoots. All 10/10. No notes, but come with 4+ people to get a variety of dishes.
Win Son is a 10/10 if this is your kind of food. The flavors are bold, comforting, and so well executed—everything tasted intentional and exciting without being overdone. You can tell they really know what they’re doing. My only tiny wish is that they carried classic Coke products (I’m a Diet Coke loyalist forever), but I tried their apple soda instead and was pleasantly surprised—it was super refreshing and actually hit that “good soda” craving. Would absolutely go back, especially if you love Taiwanese-inspired comfort food done right.
One of the best restaurants in NYC and a must go spot anytime you touch down in the city. Trigg and his team never disappoint. The service and food always blend that home cooked meal feeling with exceptional pairings and company. I must also say they have one of the best wine lists in the city especially for the price point. If you consider yourself a foodie make sure to go here before you leave this earth.
This is my first formal introduction to Taiwanese food. I had Taiwanese food in the Taipei airport during layover but that was airport food. Win Son was visited by the former president of Taiwan during her visit to NYC which spoke volumes. The food is absolutely amazing! I like that almost every dish I ordered is added with fried onion frisks which adds a nice crunchiness. The roasted peanuts are mind blowing with seasonings and lime and cilantros. It’s usually the small and simple things that show depth and complexity. Everything here tastes stellar. No wonder it’s packed on a Monday night.
Had an incredible dinner here with a big group of friends. Was a shorter wait than they estimated which is always good! Food was all amazing and each dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Drinks were also so unique and delicious. We didn’t get dessert but I definitely want to go back soon to try them! Highly recommend!
Came by myself and had the cucumbers, flys head, and the desert! Portions of the entree and desert were seriouuuus! I sadly couldn’t take any leftovers with me but wish I could have, because everything was delightful. Super cozy vibes, and the staff seem to be enjoying their time working together, which is always nice to see!
Delightful and delectable experience! Started with a bang with the marinated cucumbers…oh so fresh flavours, the crunch of the fried shallots and garlic was so satisfying. The sloppy baos, sesame noodles, fried eggplant with the crunchy peanuts didn’t disappoint at all. My most favourite of all was the chicken wantons. Highly recommended. Service was excellent. So impressed by the overall experience, we bought the T shirts as well😄
The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was pleasant. Every dish we saw around us looked amazing. We started with the Asian cucumber salad — it was excellent. For the main course, we ordered the beef rolls — a fantastic dish: refreshing, unique flavors, highly recommended! Unfortunately, the other main dish we ordered, the sesame noodles, was a disappointment. Despite recommendations from our waitress, the sauce was overly concentrated and too salty. Compared to the rest of the food, it fell short. Overall, though, it was a great experience — highly recommended!
Have been to Win Son Bakery a few times; finally tried their restaurant! A romantic, sweet spot for a casual date. Super filling, delicious entrees. I was barely able to get in big bites of their doughnut/ice cream mega-delux dessert because I was so full… but it was unbelievable too. Favorites of the night: the scallion pancake rolls & the eggplant. Must come back for more!
11/10, amazing spot. Perfect fun vibes date night stop or place to go out with friends. The matcha drink is incredible, not too sweet, and very smooth. All of the food was incredible. Would 100% order all of these again: - sloppy bao (highly recommend) - mango salad (huge portion, unique flavors, very fresh, shrimp is amazing) - chicken bun (must get!!!) - pork dumplings (offered at their bakery too) - beef roll (huge portion again, beef really well cooked) - cucumber salad (super unique texture) - sesame noodles (huge portion!)
My friends and I had a pleasant brunch here on NYE. Our server Maria was FANTASTIC! Since it was our first time here, her recommendation on what to order exceeded our expectations—everything from marinated cucumbers to fried eggplant to sesame noodles to oyster omelet was flavorful. But when the dessert came, Maria wasn't joking around. The fried donut with sesame ice cream was huge but absolutely delicious, it just melted in our mouths ;) It was a perfect way to end our meal. We were so full but very, very happy. It's nice to go to a restaurant where the servers are very well-versed in the menu, are friendly, and provide the best recommendations. We will surely be back here for dinner, and we hope to get Maria to be our server again!
Super hip and trendy atmosphere which was really cool. Great energy. Prices were really good considering the size and quality of the food - It is family style serving so it’s definitely recommended to go and try out different things. Highly recommend the pan fried pork buns. Definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve tried. Everything we ordered was under the waitress recommendation and it was outstanding. I also tried the special cocktail for brunch, the ang lee and it was perfect.
My first experience here was several years ago where I was not impressed and questioned its relevance. However, I just went back at the end of 2025 and the experience was amazing. High quality food. …

Renee is top 10 servers ever I will literally come back here just for the conversation. W service, W food, W ambience.
Food, service, and ambiance were all great. Family style ordering with a lazy susan was so much fun.

We tried this bakery while in town for the NBA draft and the sweets and breakfast were off the charts! Some unique items that were outside of the norm! We plan to come back again this year.

The food is great, the service is okay like I’ve eaten here twice the past couple of months and every time the waiters have been extremely rushy. Like I was in-and-out in 30 minutes. The music is good (like a club) and the vibes are loud. I will say that the tables are packed together so it feels like you’re sitting at your neighbors table.
Some hits and misses. Chicken wonton is worth trying, pretty unique flavours. Lu Ruo Fan (Braised Pork rice) tastes very authentic, really reminded me of home / Taiwanese Street food. Green onion / Scallion pancake is nothing to write home about - unfortunately when they charge $9 for one I expect something more. Sesame noodles was a total miss. The primary flavour of this dish should really highlight the sesame paste. Instead there was a big mix of sour, salty and spicy which hugely overpowered the dish. Very disappointed with this one. I'll definitely be back to try their brunch options as they seem a little more interesting, especially at the price point!
What we had: sesame noodles (7/10), beef roll (9/10), chicken wontons (10/10), ice cream sandwich (7/10) Great meal. Definitely hearty and comforting. Most of the dishes had some type of noodle or rice involved, so ordering was a little tricky because everything seemed heavy. That said, the two of us ate everything and really enjoyed.
Love Win Son.. the flavors are on point, good variety of dishes and lively vibe. noodles are delicious here! We also tried the fried eggplant. Loved it all. \n\nThere's a bit of a wait generally so…

pretty good food but really weird and not good service. felt wayyyyyy too casual for the price point.
