Avis sur Inés Bakery Brooklyn
I ordered a tres leche cake everyone loved it even though the name in cake was spelled incorrectly I said Barbara I got BAVARA. My sis still loved it so I was happy. . The only thing I must say the girls that were there are nice but they take a long time to service the customers. I went at 6:15am and had to wait 10 minutes just to get serviced. If they can work on that part great place to go. It smells amazing in there with all the pastries.
MÉXICO 🇲🇽 Eat the World NYC review: Just above the entrance to the 36th Street express station on 4th Avenue, Ines Bakery always has a lot of foot traffic in front and shows itself off only as a place to buy large designer cakes. Examples in the window are for weddings, quinceañeras, and birthdays.Without exception, I have overheard orders for cakes or cupcakes being places and/or finished orders being picked up each time I have eaten here. The bakery is famous in the area and folks from every background use them for their parties. I have heard a man place an order for a bar mitzvah, and last time in a Russian woman was ordering cupcakes for a party the next day. ° That being said, first and foremost in my mind are the great breakfasts at great prices available here. Depending on who is operating the cash register a plate of chilaquiles loaded with meat runs $7 or $8. In addition a nice portion of beans will grace the plate in a puddle of either red or green salsa before being topped with crumbled cheese and sour cream.
The cake was so cute and most importantly delicious!! I didn't want something pricey like fondant so they made the design with buttercream and airbrush color. Since it was a tres leches I asked for less sweet and they did just that. They did everything I asked for in the cake and all for an amazing, affordable price! I always get cakes from here and they always please the eyes and tastebuds.
Prices are incredibly fair (especially for NYC). Just don’t expect the greatest food you’ll ever eat. Perfect for cheap eats.
Great burrito and great tasting meat but the bread on the torta is a little too thick and takes away from the flavor. The refried beans also taste a little tasteless. Besides that great food and a 10/10 jamaica.
Very good cakes, desserts, sandwiches and coffee. Presented with speed and a smile by very friendly employees. Try the custom cakes, cafe con leche and tres leches cake. Great value for your money considering that they will completely customize your cake type, fillings, frostings and toppings.
I placed an order for a pick up and arrived 10 minutes later to grab my order. The cashier said it would be a couple more minutes till they were finished preparing my order—I waited 40 minutes — only for the cashier to tell me that my order isn’t on the grill yet and they will make my order next.
This is a Bakery that has Spanish speaking employees. There is nothing wrong with that but they did not make me feel welcomed, when I walked in the store. The way the lady (eating and drinking) her coffee at the counter asked how can she help me was a bit aggressive. I was desperate to get a cake for my coworker and that was the only reason I went in there in the first place. The cake was so WET, my coworkers and myself HATED it. The cake was overly sweet and just not good. The price of the cake was also outrageous for the cake to be so nasty.
10 years ago this place was good. Now it's just overpriced and subpar to other spots.in the neighborhood - - Expect long wait, high prices and bad food, from the once iconic bakery. FYI they charge $14 for a chicken sandwich. You get some frozen fries and a can of cola. Most will go in the garbage.
My daughter’s birthday was completely ruined because of them. I had always trusted them and never had a bad experience before, but this time the quality was so poor—the cream and foundation were just awful. It broke my heart to see such an important day for my little girl spoiled like this. Something so special turned into such a disappointment, and I can’t express how let down I feel.
Que tristeza porqué la comida es rica pero demasiada veces a fallado las ordenes y después ni ti ofrecen solución ni perdon. I asked for two simple orders of cheese pupusas. These are not cheese… And its not the first time your workers mess up an order. Maria Ines - give me a call. Coming from a girl who lived on the block during the 90s-2000s. Fix your customer service!!!! This is not okay.
Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, great variety of pastries at very reasonable and affordable prices. This is how my review COULD sound. Before today's purchase of a VERY OLD AND EXPIRED chocolate cheesecake. Look at the photos. How long does the cake have to stand on the display for the paint from the package to soak into the cake? I asked if it was good... and they sold it to me. Is it because I'm not Hispanic??? A strange attitude towards a client who came before this incident 2 or 3 times a week and paid his money. Good luck without me. My advice is stay away or don't be fooled at least
TERRIBLE SERVICE! I came to order this cake and they assured me that they could make it (Same figure all black, with white cursive letters, no brilliantine). When I went to pick it up they never showed me the result or told me anything. I sent her a message once I saw it but she never responded, she just left me on seen. She didn't have the decency to say sorry this order was too much for me. NEVER BUY HERE!!
