Avis sur Lalin's Brooklyn
I stopped by this café during an evening stroll, looking for a quick cup of coffee. The vibe of the place is great — stylish interior with good music playing in the background. The barista wasn’t particularly warm, and the latte art attempt was a bit of a disaster, but the coffee/ mocha itself tasted good. The café has plenty of tables and even a backyard, making it a nice spot for remote work or just relaxing. I didn’t try the food this time, though they had a small selection of sandwiches and other items on the menu. One standout detail — the washroom was spacious and very clean, which I really appreciate. Overall, I’d definitely come back, whether to get some work done or just to chill with a coffee.
I’ve been working remotely for a few years and sometimes I need to get out of the house and change things, for my sanity. This is one of my spots. This coffee shop has everything: excellent coffee drinks (even decaf espresso), strong stable wifi, a backyard, friendly staff, ample sitting space, and cool relaxed music played all day. I come here often and regularly get a lavender soy milk latte which is my favorite. A++ would recommend.
Great coffee shop!!! Tbh the better service coffee around the neighborhood. Can’t wait for the better weather so we can throw some parties in that gorgeous backyard. Also, did I say they have the best value out of ANY coffee shop around the hood? Good lol
Cappuccino was excellent!! Full bodied, good flavoring, good foam art haha the type coffee drinks offered are classic/standard for a nice coffee shop, only flavored house syrups as specials currently. Next time, I would ask for a half pump of the almond syrup instead of full. The burrito presentation was lovely, wrapped/warmed excellently, good quality tortilla, smaller than expected which makes it seem fancy for some reason - but the full flavor profile inside of it was mid The back patio and interior are very cute and welcoming Burrito + cappi= $17 with tip 4.5!! 5 coffee, 4 food!
Just to be honest, I only had a pastry, but it was a good one. The coffee is fine, and again I had just a back drip, nothing that requires talent to make. The barista is super sweet, as I walked in he smiled at me, and greeted me hello. The cafe is clean and inviting, in other words, definitely worth checking it out.
Although I only entered the cafe to kill some time, this place was an unexpected gem and left me with a pleasant feeling. The guy at the front was very friendly and welcoming, and asked how my day was. Along with that, I felt at ease and wasn’t rushed when picking out what I was going to get. But I had to take a picture of the menu since it was kinda far for a nearsighted person like me, which wasn’t much of a bother since the guy was patiently waiting for me. They didn’t have the snacks on the menu, but then again, it was right at the front and hard to miss. So I ended up getting a lemon cake and it was pretty good, and the prices are also decent. The atmosphere of the place was really chill, it’s a great place if you’re tryna study and get work done!! I ended up staying a bit longer than intended to. Definitely coming back for more if I ever need to chill for a while 🤍
The host was welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere had a relaxed vibe with cozy low lighting—perfect for unwinding. Really enjoyed the experience.

Drew was amazing. Great coffee and greater vibes.
Really nice vibes, Ive been for coffee and it's great. Bought some Variety beans there too. Tonight stopped for an evening beer. Great option for the area.
Fantastic spot to work remote in the liminal space on the border of Bed-Stuy and Bushwick, almost to the point where I want to gatekeep it! Great coffee, great music, and a spacious backyard. They host a great event and are a wonderful addition to the community.
Baristas are very nice and friendly, wine good and smoky and burritos are good. Lalins forever until the day I die. Particularly liked the very handsome barista whose name started with j or something and ended with -ackson or something
I pop in here about every other week and have consistently had great coffee and matcha and the baristas are always friendly. It makes my day every time :) Lalin’s is a lovely place to be.
The vibes here are always cute and the staff are sooo kind and attentive. They always slay my quad latte hot OR iced. The coffee is yummyyy. The big chocolate chip cookie is yummyyy. Lalin’s forever!
Good coffee and pastries at good prices. Staff management is positively involved with the community. The outside area in the back is quiet and comfortable. They host events and serve drinks in the late afternoon/evening, which is nice.
My favorite neighborhood coffee shop :) with a great cross section of the neighborhood—longtime residents, artists/authors, euro visitors, book clubs, etc.. all the baristas are good at their jobs. Nice music selection, too. Actually a pretty perfect spot for a friend catchup session Wine selection is nice too, a lot of new producer natural type vino Cozy room, though it can run a little cold—if you’re a Cali emigre wear sleeves. I find most coffee shops too warm, so it’s perfect for me.
I stumbled upon this gem when I wasn’t in the mood for Santa Panza and was simply looking for a place with good wine — and it absolutely delivered. What stood out even more than the wine, though, was the hospitality. The bartender was incredible: genuinely attentive, welcoming, and even took the time to ask how my day was going, which made the experience feel personal and warm. Even though I arrived close to closing time, I never felt rushed or unwelcome. Instead, I felt like family — and that kind of service is rare. I’ll definitely be returning and bringing friends with me. If they continue to expand their wine program, this will easily become one of my go-to spots.
Came in three times yesterday twice for coffees and in the evening for beer and wine. Chill vibe and great music each time. Great service and amazing coffee.

My oat milk capachino was amazing. Really warm local neighbourhood spot. After my visit, all my friends went and had the same experience.
Great spot to grab coffee! The environment is cute, calm, quiet, low lit, with some nice music on in the background. The coffee syrup and milk options are all inclusive. The chorizo burrito wasn’t my favorite, but all around still a really cute spot!

Lalin’s Layout/atmosphere *Coffee shop; two seat counter by register; book shelves & plants; eight tables in the back; self busing station; dog friendly; backyard area Food/drink *Chorizo burrito (eggs, potatoes & cheese) - good; pressed to order; picante sauce was smoky and spicy *Lemon loaf - good; frosting; sweet *Oat milk latte (iced) - OK
Cute space with a great vibe. Ordered a pistachio latte that maybe had an essence of pistachio, because the flavor was lacking. Otherwise cute spot.
Coffee was okay. Barista was rude. Croussant was toasting for 5 minutes yet still cold inside. It was alright.

The people who work behind the counter are rude. The atmosphere and the space is nice but what's the point when the people who work there don't spread good vibes. Also the food is always cold even though it's on 'heat' for 5-10 minutes. Last time, they literally didn't turn on the heat with my food on the grill.
I consider myself a regular at this coffee shop. The drinks are made well. The ambience is superb and I loved coming here. Except the baristas are so chatty…but always w people who seem to be their friends coming to visit them. One recent Saturday, I walked in and a woman had ordered her drink but was inquiring about a food item that was not in stock. The barista lingered giving her info. But it was more small talk than informative. Which is fine but so rude when there are actually customers waiting. The woman stepped aside and the barista kept talking to her, even as I was standing there patiently waiting to be greeted to put my order in. This has happened multiple times, I walked out without ordering and never went back because I don’t want to give this business my money after being treated this way. Also I was just stopping for coffee on my way to work and didn’t want to be late. Some ppl have jobs on weekends too 🙃 The barista is the Michael Cera ant eater looking guy.
