This is by far my favorite restaurant in NYC 🗽, the food is just so good that makes you feel like you are in Argentina 🇦🇷 . Flavors are 100% authentic , ambience is warm and welcoming plus the service and attention is spectacular. I highly recommend coming here , I can guarantee you will have a really good time .
Highly recommended! Authentic The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, the food is delicious and the service is friendly and kind. The food is spectacular! I recommend trying the authentic Empanadas Malbec, we ordered the grill for 2, which served 3 people with the sides Noque and Yuca mash. The highlight of the lunch was the steak that was perfectly cooked and I recommend trying the dessert, they have the best pancakes with dulce de leche. The wine list is short, but the options are great! We enjoyed the El Enemigo (this wine is of the highest quality, and its producer has been voted the best winery in the world a few times). I really had a very pleasant experience and will be back soon.
Omg to start the vibes are great! Service 10/10 and the food is just amazing I definitely recommend and will be back! The owners are great friendly great people
This family owned and operated gem has become a staple in your dining out. We visit a few times a month! You feel like family from the moment you walk in! We have tried many items in the menu and it never disappoints! Great drinks, great prices, amazing food. You cannot go wrong here! Can’t wait to try their new brunch menu!!
I've had the most amazing experience here. Food was 10/10, I recommend the skirt steak whole heatedly. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our waiter Christian was so kind and helpful the entire time. Aesthetically the place is also gorgeous! This made me fall in love with Argentinian food and I can't wait to return!
Started coming here to watch Argentina matches and this is a great spot for fans. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. First time, had some appetizers—calamari and empanadas—they were tasty. On another occasion, I ordered the milanesa a la napolitana—very good—one of my favorite dishes! Also, the white sangria is fantastic!
Highly recommended. Tasted just as authentic as asado I had in Argentina. Seemed like a new place. The server was so friendly and even brought the chef to our table for an intro. I liked the meat (+ slight inspiration from America) and was surprised by how good the sweet potato fries were!
This new Argentinian spot in Brooklyn is OMG, DELICIOUS!! We ordered cheese and malbec empanadas plus polenta for appetizers, Churrasco with mashed potatoes as the main dish and flan plus panqueques con dulce de leche for desserts. Drinks, sangría and Gancia. Service is great! Waiter was very attentive and the owner Cristian super nice! Recommended 100%
Had delicious wine flights and nice summer salad! Mushroom chicken also very good. Super fun atmosphere and the owners are so friendly!!! They're so knowledgeable about the Argentinian wine. There's typically, half off wine on Wednesday and brunch/live jazz on weekends. Outside seating is available on 5th Ave plus nice and cool inside seating as well.
We luckily found Raices when looking for a new place in the neighborhood 10 months ago and never left. On our first visit we shared the Parradilla for two and pitcher of red sangria, and knew we had to return. Since then we’ve been for lunch, dinner, date nights, birthdays, and family events which have all been an amazing time due to their exceptional service and ability to make you feel at home. What’s even funner is that they host multiple events throughout the year that include wine tasting and curated asado menus from Argentinian chefs which is truly an experience. Recommendations include everything, but favorites are the calamari, camarones al ajillo, seafood fra diavolo, milanesa (of any kind), churrasco, bife, and every dessert will have you wanting to try the next! Regarding drinks any flavor of sangria is a must have, as well as their mojitos, and rosemary old fashioned.
What a great surprise! I came in for a snack so I choose the burguer. It was perfectly medium-rare cooked and delicious with super tasty grilled veggies as side( they also have fried sweet potatoes or salad as an alt for side). The steaks are more expensive, 45/50, next time I’ll come with my wife for dinner and try those!
ONE OF THEE BEST ARGENTINIAN RESTAURANTS I have ever been to!!! The food and drinks was absolutely delicious, we arrived at 8. They do close at 10 so please be cautious. The ambience is very homey ,warm and welcoming especially with all the decorations they have up. The service was stupendous, we sat at the bar and our bartender was the amazing, he was attentive informative (with all the questions my friends and I had ) and outgoing! 100% recommend to eat here!
Wine down wednesdays, best sangria in town! great food, fun atmosphere. definitely a must!

Wine down wednesdays, best sangria in town! great food, fun atmosphere. definitely a must!
Great service, we got the parrillada for 6 which was more than enough for all of us and it comes with 6 sides. Included entraña, morcilla, chinchulin, chicken, shrimp, and short rib. The empanadas were delicious, tried out the sampler. Can’t forget the sangria pitcher to share with the table.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with the perfect blend of elegance and authenticity. The decor is just beautiful. The food is simply outstanding. Every dish is packed with flavor, made with high-quality ingredients, and prepared with an authentic Argentine touch. The service is impeccable, with a friendly and attentive staff that makes you feel right at home. Definitely a place worth returning to again and again. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️

Really good! I went with my family to celebrate a special occasion and it couldn't have been more perfect. The space is big with a bar at the front for more casual drinks and then a section in the back for more formal dining, the size is large yet intimate enough to host a private event. On the night that we went there was a pianist who played a very nice variety of music. We ordered the super parrillada for six which was incredible, the meat was cooked to perfection and all the sides were super yummy as well. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly, the service was at a good pace and the overall ambiance was perfect for a family event. I'm looking forward to going back either for happy hour or to try something else on the dinner menu.
We first visited one evening to try their food and instantly fell in love - not just with the delicious dishes, but also with the two wonderful owners. They’re such a sweet and welcoming couple! We ended up hiring them as our wedding caterers, and they truly exceeded our expectations. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food!
This spot is a hidden gem that deserves a spot in my regular rotation. The workers' quick handling of requests stood out. The environment pleases, the food impresses and everything works well. The choices reflect culinary tradition. Perfectly good!
What a wonderful place! I was a photographer for a wedding that ended up celebrating here for dinner — the staff was so so so kind and welcoming, I’m just speechless! Amazing drinks, amazing food, amazing hospitality, warm and inviting location. Thank you so much for having M & F over and all of us! ❤️❤️❤️

Raises Argentinas exceeded all expectations. From the outstanding service to the exceptional food, every detail was flawless. The steaks are cooked to perfection, the cocktails are well-crafted, and the desserts are unforgettable. A truly remarkable dining experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for quality and excellence.
Went here for a casual dinner one night with my fiancé, dinner was incredible. Have passed it by numerous times on my walks and decided to stop in today and was blown away by their quality of meats. The calamari was also a must get. Service and the ambience were incredible. Would recommend coming here for a spontaneous date night or just a solo dinner!
Had dinner with the family tonight (wife and I, plus two kids). Really wanted to try it as my wife grew up in Argentina (Cordoba) and having been married 20 years, we really enjoy a good asado. The employees are very nice, as everyone mentions on here. The food, at least what we ordered, was OK. It wasn’t bad - but it could have been better. We ordered the parrilla for 2, which had a lot of meat (3-4 adults could split it for sure, plus some apps), but some of the cuts were quite fatty/greasy. It wasn’t grass-fed, which I understand would be cost-prohibitive, but maybe add 1-2 grass-fed options to the menu similar to how El Guachito (Queens) does which would elevate things a bit and make the steak naturally more lean. Or, just select your cuts (esp. short ribs) a bit better (maybe it was an off Friday night). The gnocchi — sorry, skip it. It’s named gnocchi de “nonna”, like mom or grandma’s recipe — but it definitely tasted and had the texture like it was boxed / factory made. Quite dense. My daughter who loves pasta only ate half - and she was hungry. Good or great fresh gnocchi should be soft like a pillow, so if that’s not possible in-house — then speak to Pasta Louise or similar and ask them to supply. But the chef really needs to try good gnocchi to reset the bar before serving this one. Or just remove it from the menu. Empanadas were OK. Kids liked the cheese one. We tried both beef, and they were OK. Empanadas range so wildly it’s tough to really judge as it can be personal (I think Nuchas makes some of the best in NYC) — however they were baked vs fried so that’s a win here. The main one uses ground beef, and the Malbec one seemed like a slowed cooked short rib filling. Neither were bad, but also not something I would go back just to pickup as takeout (which I was hoping they would be). If I want to get really picky — hand cut the beef for your empanadas vs buying ground beef and that would make them 2X better. Water glasses were left unfilled for probably 20-30 minutes a couple times. Asked for dulce de leche with the flan — they didn’t add it. Flan was still good. Lava cake was good. So while the waitress was nice, assign someone to handle the basics (like refilling water) and write down the order if you can’t remember it. Again, very pleasant, but definitely room to improve. Especially when spending $300+ for 4 (including two little kids, and one drink each), there are some things you just gotta nail. Overall, maybe I would come back to try a burger, fries and beer at the bar with a friend — but unfortunately, not for the steak. Again, not bad, just a bit middle of the road in terms of quality for where I believe an Argentine steakhouse should be. And we live just 5’ away…so it hurts a little.
The food here was absolutely delicious: churrasco and hearts of palm salad. I like the cozy atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and kind. But the main course took ages to appear. Once we were served, no one paid any attention to us. No one checked to see if the food was okay. We put the empty wine glasses near the edge of the table to indicate we might want refills. No one appeared to offer that. Eventually we just asked for the bill. I would return because the food was so good, but the service was very unsatisfactory. To be fair, I think perhaps they were short-handed that evening.
I really wanted to like this place. The dining room is lovely, the ambiance was great, and our server was kind and attentive. The empanadas were fantastic, and left me with high expectations for the rest of the meal, which unfortunately were not met. I ordered the Picanha which, at the price point they have it at (45 bucks) and at an Argentinian restaurant which should have excellent red meat, was just not good at all. I ordered it medium and it came out quite rare, while being tough and relatively flavorless. There was one piece which tasted the way it should, everything else was a chore to get down. On the menu it says it comes with roasted vegetables, but what I received was literally two small pieces of steamed broccoli, and two small pieces of carrots which seemed like they had barely been cooked. Veggies are cheap and easy to make tasty if you actually roast them like it says they are on the menu, it's baffling to cheap out a customer paying over 40 dollars for a dish with a tiny portion of bland, steamed veg. And this was after we waited a very long time for our food, it was Valentine's Day which I know is tough for food service so I'm willing to give them a pass on that. But there's no excuse for an expensive and highly rated Argentinian place to be serving such disappointing meat. Seems like other reviews say the skirt steak was very good, maybe I should have gotten that instead. Though Picanha is a really nice and classic South American cut, and it should be one of the best things on the menu. My partner got the pesto gnocchi which was also quite bland, in my mind pesto sauce should be green, but this one was white, suggesting they really skimped on the pesto. The lava cake was also not very good and tasted like it was a frozen cake which they reheated. I hope the owner of this business can read this review and talk to the chef about what is going on with the Picanha, because the only other review I spotted that mentioned it had the exact same problems I had and was written 8 months ago. If someone orders it medium, it should be medium, and it's a cut that should be tender and flavorful, not tough and bland. The server literally advised me to order it medium because he said the chef has a tendency to make it too rare, but that didn't seem to do me any good. I left this meal feeling bummed out and ripped off which is really too bad. I don't like writing any reviews below five stars but I felt like I had to say something in this case, because they have a lot of good things going for them here and I want to see the business succeed and live up to its potential.
We have been here more than a few times. The food and drink are good but the portion are getting smaller and smaller each time we go back. Last time we went, we ordered our usual which is the grill for two. It came out as the size for one. Besides, they substituted one of the pieces with something else without informing us and when we asked they simply said we cannot get it. Very disappointed. Never going there again.
