Great people running a cosy pub. Friendly and great atmosphere.
Old school pub and local dive. Amazing karaoke. Strong drinks, if you make the time to get to know the bartenders.
The service was so good I HAD to come back.. karaoke Saturdays. Drinks pouring. Best place to be. See you there
Shenanigans on a Saturday night is the only place in New York you want to be. The crown jewel of brooklyn-- all boroughs-- hell, the U.S. Couldn't recommend it more.
Went for the Sunday afternoon bluegrass sessions in the backyard a couple of times and had a fantastic time each visit
Perfect spot to watch football. Super nice staff and chill spot.
Thanks- for your kindness and your welcome- top ✨️ cocktails local distillerie
A down home neighborhood bar w low prices and a laid back vibe. Live music Friday nights!
Hosts iconic DJs and an innovative beer selections. Shout out to DJ Statik Selektah and the coquito-inspired beer!
This is a type of place you either love or stay away from. You know what I mean just by looking at It. Personally I love going here.
One of the last truly special bars in the city. Always great.
Come for the Karaoke Saturday nights! It's free and never too crowded! Place is kind of depressing without it.
Nice local bar, the bartender was really nice.
Great place to go when you're in mood just to relax and get away from your neighborhood.
Shenanigans is a great local pub with an old school feeling. The bartenders are great 👍...Highly recommended
Very friendly and helpful bartender :)
Quaint little Irish pub. The bartenders are always very nice and personable
Great banger sandwich was great here and my son loved the Shepards pie
God tier, ideal bar, you’ll find true love in its walls
Good spot to get a drink and hang with like minded people.
Eddie the karaoke DJ on Saturday nights is outstanding!
One of the best bars in BK as well. You can sing what you want!!!!

Typical Irish themed bar. The bar are huge Buffalo Bill's football fans. Karaoke on Saturday Nights from 9pm to 1am. Great crowd.
Fun low key dig with a pool table central to the space. Feels like a bar out of its place in time in the best way possible. Fun karaoke nights with devoted locals, and a good place to watch games, Shenanigan's feels like it never escaped the 80s and I hope no one ever tells it to.
Great, fun atmosphere on a Saturday, stormy night! The bar tender was generous with the rum and coke I ordered. He hooked me up or made it the way it should taste-more run less coke! The night was swinging with a cast of characters enjoying a night out singing. It did not matter if you hit the notes or missed a few, you got cheered! Would recommend!!!! Fun in Brooklyn!!!
Really great vibe, and the karaoke and darts were fun. Drinks were really decently priced for the neighborhood. I believe Karaoke is every Saturday. Would absolutely come back. Terry the bartender is awesome and the redhead who made the spinach pizza is aces (I'm sorry I do not recall her name). Going to make this a regular spot.
If you like the Buffalo Bills, this is the place to be! Matt the bartender not only serves great drinks, he even plays the shout song when there is a Bills touchdown. They have Labatts on tap and pizzas. Love this place.
A friendly relaxed neighborhood hangout. Perfect place to stop by for a quick beer on the way home after a long hard day at work, or settle in a bit and actually have an intelligent conversation with some of the regulars. Here, you will definitely find an interesting mix of folks from a wide range of backgrounds and interests – all amicably interacting. And as for the bartenders...quite a delightful bunch. I've liked all three I've met so far. Jamie is a really sweet attentive lad, and the curly-haired female bartender is refreshingly spunky and quick-witted. The guy in the cat t-shirt give a surly first impression, but don't let it fool ya! Some of the reviews here mention food, but their writers must have mixed this place up with a previous joint in their bar crawl! But don't be disappointed to discover that there is none, as the Pizza shop on the next block offers quite adequate sustenance.
Local dive bar. Local musicisns too. Support your local performers. It is reputed to have the cheapest beer in Brooklyn. This may be true.
A real Brooklyn gem. Old school bar that hasn't changed in decades and, the best part, doesn't feel the need to. It's charms may be lost on some but the lack of pretension is very refreshing. Backyard is an added bonus.
Great neighborhood bar. We were visiting from Atlanta. Spent several hours there on a Friday night. Felt like a regular guest by the time we left.
One of my favorite bars to go to in Brooklyn! Amazing service and a great spot to hang, sing and chill. My friends and I love this place.
If you picture a stereotypical bar in your head, this bar is what you’d imagine. Friendly service and drinks that your wallet and palette will enjoy. Highly recommend.
Love this bar! An amazing neighborhood vibe, and we love trivia on Wednesdays at 8pm with Mike bartending.
Great staff, friendly customers, good beer and an atmosphere like no other. Loved the few nights I spent there on last years holiday. Will go back again I hope.

Neighborhood bar epitomized. Old school Irish pub feel. Bunch of TVs. Friendly service. Patio out back. Cash only. Easygoing vibe.
Good place to get drinks and play darts.
c'mon guys, play nice! This place is fine, went there when I was staying on E 7th, had a few beers, a few laughs - it's a neighborhood bar - you go there for drinks - enjoy!
Sundays are the best, Matt is the best bartender, you ll enjoy convos from sports to philosophy :)
Teacher's come to let loose after work on Fridays. Everyone is happy and friendly!
Fun place to visit occasionally on a Saturday night as they have karaoke.
Good drinks and veryy cheap . Nice workers too !
Nice classic dive bar, one of the last of its kind in NYC. The bartenders here are very friendly. Low key chill spot great for small chats and hanging out. It does get busy on holiday events and Bills games.
I was looking for a neighborhood bar to chill and have a couple of drinks and this fit the bill. Beer is cheap. It's no fancy joint and because it's not pretentious, that is why it gets 4 stars. If your looking for a real bar, then this is your place. If you want something shee-shee then there are other places around that cater to a different clientele.

One of the oldest Irash bar in Brooklyn.usually very quite place oiydoor seating too.
Decent price on drinks.. Definitely falls into the DIVE BAR category..
Layout/atmosphere *Buffalo Bills bar; Irish paraphernalia; five TVs; video poker machine; Internet jukebox; dartboard; old fashioned cash registers; couple of high tables; backyard area with two tables Food/drink *Three taps (LaBatt Blue, Sierra Nevada & ???) *No food menu [Found a fly at the bottom of my beer glass]
Basic bar. No food or cocktail menu, just beers and some licors. Quieter in here than other bars (not a bad thing, easier to talk), and seems the clientele are long time locals. They have big screen tvs.

Don’t come if you’re not white. Came for karaoke night and had the 1 song we requested (with a good tip) delayed over an hour in favor of people who just walked in. Then the KJ cut it off a minute early even though the whole bar was singing along. KJ is in a punisher shirt so should’ve expected it
Your experience will depend when you get there; the later it is, the kooks come out. The female bartender is a delight, whereas all the others suffer from the ennui inherent in native Brooklynites who never heard that word before.
