From the looks of it, I was very hungry today, in my defense I have a big family, Alhamdulillah. All the dishes were delicious. I loved the chicken dumpling, hot and sour soup, corn soup, lollipop chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Pad Thai and the Chilli Beef. The other dishes were a bit spicy for my palate. I recently stopped by Halal Express while in the area for an open house and was curious to try this new spot. Halal Chinese food isn’t that common in Brooklyn, so I thought it was interesting enough to give it a shot. The setup is what you’d expect from a classic Chinese fast food restaurant: a straightforward, no-frills interior with a few tables for dine-in, and a counter where you place your order. Behind the counter, two large screens display the full menu along with some daily specials. However, when I visited, there was no special lunch menu available, everything was priced per dish. I ordered the chicken with broccoli, a staple dish, and took a seat while waiting. Service was reasonably quick. The portion size was generous, definitely enough for a full meal. There was a decent amount of both chicken and broccoli, and it came in a garlic sauce. The sauce was mild and not particularly spicy or bold in flavor, which might be a plus for those who prefer more subtle seasoning, though personally I found it a bit underwhelming. The prices were fair, consistent with what you'd expect from a neighborhood Chinese fast food joint. The main draw here seems to be the halal offering, which is a plus for those who keep halal but still want familiar American-Chinese takeout flavors. Overall, the experience was exactly what you might expect from a halal Chinese fast food place: decent portions, quick service, and standard flavors. It’s not gourmet by any means, but if you’re in the neighborhood and looking for a convenient, affordable halal option, this place is worth a try. Just don’t go in expecting anything too adventurous

The prices you see online are not accurate at all and they don’t tell you the price either so don’t assume and always ask. I ordered sesame chicken which shows 7.50 on the menu but they charge 11.50 which is a big difference cause I ordered for a group

I don't understand what Halal Express's business policy is. They have a home delivery system, but they will deliver if they want to, or they won't deliver if they want to. I don't understand how this is. To do business, you always have to have a specific time frame. If you want to deliver, you have to deliver on time. If they want to, they won't deliver, then people won't be able to trust them.

Their deals are a scam. For something that’s buy one get one free, they just split the box that you would normally get into 2 boxes. So u aren’t getting anything worth of value because the buy one get free stuff is literally just buy one get a second empty box for free. Unhygienic restaurant, it’s dirty everywhere and employees have extremely bad manners.

disgusting. Eat literally anywhere else. Food was cold and DISGUSTING. It tasted old and dirty. I had to get wendy's after this because I couldn't eat anything here. This place is so unhygienic, do NOT recommend.

If it was 0 star option I will just give him 0 the worse costumer service in the world the guy was screaming on the phone by himself pushing me to have cash only and also decided out of nowhere that he doesn’t wanna deliver anymore even after I got the cash he was very disrespectful. if you hiding from tax, not on us this is a freedom country we pay the way it’s convenient to us and you can not talk to people like they are your friends because assaulting someone can get you in big trouble

Very bad unclean & and the server they don't even know what's they serving.Sorry to say that but their food quality was so bad. I wouldn't recommend anybody to be there.
