The food here is always great, I pick up the staples before going by my grandparents. It's got a home cooked feel for sure. I typically go with white rice, beans, rotisserie chicken, pork shoulder, and sweet plantains. They may have a paella which is also really good. It can be a little slow to get everything together, but it's still worth the visit. I'll certainly be back again.

Good portions and well priced. Love the pulled pork. Most days I have visited, the pork is well marinated and juicy. Got to try it and let everyone here know how the food is. There is other stuff worth trying as well.

Good food. The owner keeps this place very clean Staff can be a little slow sometimes. Parking is very difficult in this area. The j train is 100ft away. Busses q24 and q56 are walking distances near by. Is it worth the drive here probably not. Great budget food but surely not the best.

I usually have a great experience but today, I was given a different portion and charged more? Then, I had to argue my case and SHOW THEM the meat they gave me was unacceptable. So unfortunate because my experience before today was great. If you’re shy and back down easily, this may not be the place for you because I definitely had to match my servers’ energy (a bit aggressive). I’m glad I got some type of resolve but, I don’t know when or if I will be back and it’s a shame because the neighborhood does not have many cheap, good and healthy options.

Always ordering food for all my workers and I have to keep asking to send sauce for my salad every time the lady is very rude and when stating undo you want my business or not she basically just said we don’t need your business will take business elsewhere, straight trash

I usually get the chicken and the cucumber salad, which is good. The beans have no taste. They hardly speak English, so they always mess up on the order . Then there is only a lady that changes the price every single time . I say that because I never Pau the same price for my order.

Paid $10 for a shrimp salad with 4 pieces of shrimp, the rest is unknown thing that tasted disgusting. Super disappointed.
