Had a craving for an açaí bowl and found Ubatuba nearby and I’m so glad I did! I loved the options available for base and toppings plus you could get as many toppings as you wanted no matter which size you ordered. The two employees working were super friendly and I appreciated how they enforced mask-wearing when a customer came in who didn’t have their mask on. I am definitely looking forward to coming here again!

A Brazilian Acai spot??? WHAT?! YES! I was craving Nekter and found Ubatuba serendipitously. Ariel, such a sweetheart, was so helpful in guiding me through their extensive menu of bases and toppings. Definitely worth checking out.

I stopped by this Ubatuba this morning to get a quick lunch and something for my parents as well. I been to the Northridge location before but not this one. I came right when they open so finding parking was easily in the small parking lot this place is in. They have indoor and outdoor seating at this location. When I walked inside, there was 2 guest ahead of me so I waited for my turn. When it was my turn, I went with the medium size cup and small size cup. I went with mango as the base for both cup and for the toppings I got strawberry, bananas and pineapple. I decided to also get empanada too so I went with the Mac and cheese one. The 2 employees working today were really friendly and nice during my interaction with them. When I got home, I started eating my ubatuba and it was delicious. The fruit taste fresh and the mango basing was spot on. I will be sure to come back in the future.

The best acai in my opinion. The service was great, parking right in front. So many toppings and they have a special on Thursdays for a cheaper price. Can't beat it, so fresh and so good!

Update: 1/6/25 I had an excellent experience at Ubatuba Acai. the crew welcomed me with big smiles. They recommended some choices and I went with the Ubatuba Acai bowl with a variety of Granola, coconut, Strawberries, blueberries, honey and topped with nuts. I also went with the Chicken Empanada that was delicious. It came with a hot sauce and a green oil that was very good. There was plenty of parking and the dining area was very clean and welcoming. We will be going back to get more Acai Bowls. Ubatuba is an excellent place. This was my first experience trying an Acai bowl. The first thing that I noticed was the fun and energy driven décor. The employees welcomed me with big smiles and a nice Hello. They described what and Acai berry bowl was and took the time to tell me how many options Ubatuba acai has. I went with the Acai bowl that has an Ice Cream coldness to it. I also had Granola, coconut, Strawberries, blueberries, honey and topped with nuts. Absolutely delicious and refreshing. This was my first time trying this combination. I will be back. I also had a chicken Empanada. I worked in Buenos Aires, Argentina and they had the best Empanadas in the world. I can say that Ubatuba has a comparable Empanada. I love it! The sauces that come with it are very tasty. One has a grape leaves flavor to it. The other has a spicy and delicious hot sauce. I really do recommend Abatuba to anyone who would like to try a different delicious Empanada and Acai Bowl.

Great experience at this location!! The people are very helpful and knowledgeable and made lots of suggestions! They even let me sample some of the items that I was questioning. I settled on a pitaya (dragon fruit) bowl. They added a granola of my choice and a nut butter (chose almond), then an assortment of fruit in a beautiful layer and, finally, toppings (bee pollen and carob chips). Of course you, as the customer, can build your own unique creation to your liking. The bowls are small, medium, and large. I also had a mushroom empanada. I wasn’t thrilled by the mushroom empanada. It kinda tasted like a pizza pocket and there was too much pastry for me.

Smoothie bowls were exactly what we needed for our road trip ahead. I make smoothie bowls every morning and this place blew mine out of the water. I got some great inspiration to their toppings. You start with a base, I did matcha and pitaya, they add fruit: I had blueberries and strawberries with chia seed pudding, and add your toppings: bee pollen, ground flax, granola. And they have a wide range of empeñadas with hot sauce. So good and so satisfying.

The açaí bowl was really tasty, exactly like the original Brazilian one, with fresh fruits and nice toppings. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they were very patient explaining all the toppings. I also highly recommend to try the cheese bread!

This location always recognizes their repeat/loyal customers and even if it’s your first time, they treat you like you’ve been coming there for years. We go out of way to get our Açaí bowls from this location. Highly recommended!

Honestly the fruits, mango base, dates, even the açaí all tasted like medicine. Probably one of the worst açaí bowls I’ve had in a minute:( I’m sorry, just being honest lol. It was also $12 for a small which is kinda pricey.

They gave me an AÇAÍ bowl via DoorDash & I’m allergic to açaí. I asked for Pitaya & instead of the bright pink Pitaya I got the dark purple açaí and got extremely sick just from the one bite before in a dark lit environment but I could taste the difference and so I turned on the light to confirm. They can’t be so careless to give the incorrect ingredients. I don’t know if I can trust ordering from this location ever again unless I go in person to watch them make it.

Bowl tasted alright. Service was great. But they are running a scam with these sizes. A medium is 16 ounces here and costs .40 more, but at other locations like at the northridge one it’s .40 cheaper for a medium that is 24 ounces. Yall need to fix your serving sizes ! Just because there is unlimited toppings doesn’t change the fact that your cutting the whole size down to a small here. So so disappointed and wish I didn’t waste my money here.

Worst una tuba in town, North Hollywood, studio city, Melrose all are so welcoming, the two employees here were so rude, inpatient and bothered that they had to serve us. Bowls are not even as full as they fill them at other locations

Terrible- every time I come to an UBATIBA AÇAÍ I remember why I don’t come here anymore. It just gives the vibes of corporate greed. I would love to have granola on my bowl, but I can’t physically eat the entire bowl, even a small one, so it takes me two or three settings. So the only way to get granola is if I don’t have them put it on at all or it’s soggy and nasty. So that means I can never have granola. On top of that, they just handed me the açai bowl and it’s basically melted that fast and some of the fruit is rotten …So I will be making to make a point and never come back here and going to Mojito juice instead.
