This restaurant has absolutely phenomenal customer service! I love coming here❤️ They give you more than enough delicious food and your cup is never empty. My wife loves this place and we have been going almost every Sunday afternoon for years. We go so often we know the Manger Mike and several of the bartenders. Most of the staff recognize us. As I said, my wife loves it and I have tolerated it for years. In the last 6 months or so things have really turned around. I ask for a specific meal with specific extras and if Mike is at work. Man, it is perfection. They are not expensive and are usually very fast, drinks are good and recently went through a bit of an interior refresh. Nevertheless, it is people like Mike, are the reason we continue to go almost every Sunday.

It was my first time at this restaurant and it was amazing. All the food was good and had flavor. The prices were fair and the customer service was great. All employees were friendly. Our server was Jacob and he was amazing; he was attentive, always smiling, personable, and overall a pleasure and a great server. I hope a manager sees this and gives him some kudos, it’s hard to find good and upbeat customer service :)

Jake was absolutely the best! He handled our jokes like a champ and made us feel right at home. His kindness and great energy were such a blessing! We couldn’t have asked for a better server! He even checked in on two young girls who chocked! He is such a light!!

Mexican inn is one of my favorite local Mexican restaurants to eat and drink at. We always have the best service. The most recent visit we had Serena in the bar area for our waitress. She was super sweet and attentive! Give Serena a raise!!!

What can I say that hasn’t been said?! Serena is the BEST bartender I’ve ever had serve me. She’s extremely personable, attentive to detail, super fun, and goes out of her way to make sure we’re happy and pleased with what we order. She used to always work the bar, but now she’s on the restaurant side. Although the other bartenders are cool, me and lot of others guests that regularly sit at the bar have talked and we miss her. I find myself having to sit on restaurant side more now just to see her and have some of that enjoyment back that came along with the food and drinks.

Food was fine but what impressed me the most was the fantastic service. Our server was amazing and attentive. She made sure the Food was fresh and the salsa never ran out.

Came here to avoid having bbq or on the border again (both good but not twice in 2 days good) and was not disappointed at all. Was leaning toward fajitas to start but waitress suggested the fajita chicken burrito when I mentioned I was REALLY hungry. As someone that has consumed a scary number of burritos, let me tell you, you want this burrito. Place is clean, service is fast and friendly and this monstrous burritoabout brought tears to melt eyes. I'm not usually a fan of wet burritos but this one is THE exception to make if you're in the area. Sour cream, salsa and queso topped this beauty while fajita chicken, refried beans, mexican rice, sauteed onions and bell peppers filled the inside, with more refried beans and mexican rice on opposites sides of the burrito. My advice? Cut the burrito up into bite sized pieces and mix with the beans and rice on the plate. Thank me later. This place is the bomb, worth the $15 price of this meal.

Portions are very generous great people working the front counter, and they don't skimp on the add-ons! 3 burrito dinners, 2 kids quesadilla meals, an order of the street tacos, 2 orders of chicken flaunts, and 2 orders of sopapillas we got 3 huge bags of chips that remind me of Frito's and 9 containers of Salsa and 24 corn tortillas with butter no charge, will definitely be coming back. We were pleasantly surprised by Mexican Inn Cafe. Whenever we would drive by it looked like it didn’t have much business but boy were we wrong. My one and only complaint: some of the staff had been up front (where guests were waiting) and talking smack about other staff members. Then, a “big wig” showed up and, we all know what happens after that. I’d go back and enjoy some more of their “skinny” corn chips, salsa, guacamole and traditional taco plate and never leave with regret. Ex-lover? more like, keep them doors open, and I’m going to keep coming.

Anyway, on a whim while out running errands, we decided to stop by Mexican Inn Cafe. The food was outstanding. Their 'chips' are homemade fritos with 2 different types of salsa. The lunch special i had was delish! They make their own tortillas. There aren't enough character spaces available to tell you how good it was. Just go, try it. You wont be disappointed and hopefully your waitress is Janet (she rocks)!!!

The food is really good! The reason it gets a 4 is simply because their fiesta nachos appetizer is a really small portion. There is only literally one chip each that surrounds the plate and the guacamole and sour cream in the middle. For the price I paid I expected more than that. My girlfriend's meal was great and filling. The service was pretty good. Our waitress was slow with refills but still overall good. Definitely a place we will go back to.

Although it doesn't have the same feel as the original Mexican Inn restaurants in Fort Worth, I enjoy dining here because of their tasty menu items and friendly service. One of my favorites is the chicken chile relleno with a side of sautéed vegetables in lieu of the rice and beans. The corn chips and tortillas are a nice change from your "regular" chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants but there are times they've been stale. Also, the salsa is basically tomato sauce, so that is a bit disappointing.

Place is delicious. I have eaten there numerous times because I stay at the Fairfield just behind it. I have never had a bad dish or experience there. The food is very reasonably priced as well.

This was my first time at this restaurant, and I was quite surprised. The chips, salsa, & queso was good. The salsa had just the right texture & spicy kick to it. I had a frozen strawberry Margarita to start & ordered the Chicken & Rice as my entree. My husband had a regular frozen Margarita & the Chicken Fajita Salad, and our son had the corn dog with fries from kids menu. My husband's drink was much thicker than mine, but they both tasted good. He thought the drinks could've been a little stronger, so he order 2 shots of Tequila to add to our Margaritas. Boy did that make a difference! I left that place with a buzz! Lol... Overall, the food, drinks, & service was really good. There really wasn't much of a crowd, which was great for us. It's a nice chill spot when you want to get away from the usual noisey crowd.

Walked in and ordered nachos to go. First time there and I am glad I went. Hadn't had nachos prepared like this is many many moons and they were GOOD. Even reheated well! Service was decent. Wait time wasn't bad.

When we’re in the mood for a good dependable meal where we can relax and not be rushed, we eat in the bar area. And no, we don’t have to drink alcohol. The best part is the service: Serena is the best. She’s attentive but not intrusive; one of the reasons we come back again and again.

We were here for a late dinner on a Friday night after driving into town from Missouri. The hostess was nice and friendly. It was crowded. There was a 40 minute wait for a table but we were lucky enough to get a couple of seats at the bar. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise. JASON, the bartender was great! It was a very busy night and he was so good at filling the waitresses orders, servicing the tables in the bar area (food and drink) and taking care of the people at the bar. I've never seen a cleaner work station! He kept the bar area clean and organized all while making drinks and having a conversation. He really made a difference! We stayed longer than planned because we enjoyed the atmosphere and conversation. The food was just okay. Nothing special about it. *We went back the following night for an evening cocktail. It was busier than the previous night. We were able to sit in the bar area again right away. Jason was waiting tables and there was a young woman behind the bar. Completely different experience! It was disorganized and chaotic. We stayed for one drink and left. If we're ever in the area again, we'll probably stop by and see if Jason is there to mix up a rockin' cocktail! (Hopefully they won't have him waiting tables instead of using him where he is needed the most - the bar.)

First time here and our waitress was nice and checked on us regularly. I ordered the beef street tacos, which I got on corn and flour tortilla. I prefer the one on flour. It also came with rice and beans. They were both flavorful, but the beans were on the somewhat spicy side, if you’re into that. Overall, a pretty good place for Mexican food.

We walked into the place and walked straight to the bar top because that’s what we do! We sat for a good 3-5 minutes and no one greeted us. I almost thought the bar close closed. I went to the host to see if anyone was attending the bar and she very happily said yes, someone would be with us soon. Finally the bartender arrived and we were good. Drinks came, appetizers were order and then I was Fritos and salsa came to the bar! This was different… My husband said when in Rome! We ordered the Fajita Combo, it was small and blend. Once the bartender arrived the service was great! We didn’t complain about the food because we are not that people. We hope the restaurant reads their reviews and makes some corrections. All in all, it was okay.

I went here for a casual date night with my fiancé and the service was HORRIBLE! We were seated and it took about 20 mins before a server noticed us. After finally getting the attention of one of the waiters he stated that our waitress would be with us soon and brought us waters. Well, I remember why I don't like Mexican inn. Most of their food tastes generic like it's out of a can. Sour cream "sauce" is not sauce. It's just sour cream. I asked because it tasted weird. The management said, "It's because it's straight sour cream because that's what sour cream sauce is." I told him that's not how you make sour cream sauce. He said, "A lot of people don't like it." I told him because sour cream sauce has garlic onion powder and chili powder. The rice was not good. It tasted old. The beans were ok. Seemed fresh enough. I tried the chile relleno. The crust is too thick for my liking and didn't have a good flavor. The shredded chicken they use for the enchiladas and the chile relleno seemed like it was canned, but it might not have been. Others in my party sent their food back entirely because they didn't like any of it. I made myself eat mine. I pulled the crust off of the chile relleno, which made it better. If you like chips that look like big fritos, you will like them. I personally don't, and neither did the others in my party. I tried the cheese and chicken enchiladas. That's how I figured out the sour cream sauce wasn't very good. The cheese enchilada was good. I chose to try the chili sauce on it. It was good. Just smells like B.O. with chili. It's not very appetizing but tasted good. The queso is expensive. For a small cup, it was $8 crazy priced and if you like extremely sweet tea you'lllove it. So for you chicken express tea lovers you'll be in heaven. Overall, it was very disappointing. We all decided we would not be returning. The service was great. Very polite and professional. They even joked with us. They had no issues helping us try things and make changes to our order and try to help us with new items since we didn't like the food. They told us everything was safe for those with gluten allergies or celiac disease. My partner got glutened and the manager said there was no gluten in any of it and didn't want to hear any of it. Very rude. Waitress disappear and not come back for long amounts of time. I assume that they fried the onions in soy sauce. Zero accountability.

Don’t ever write reviews but I just had to for this one. Mexican Inn, shouldn’t even be called Mexican Inn with TexMex food. The food was bad, I had the fajitas, fajitas tasted frozen, the beans were horrible, the rice was okay, wife had a cheese enchilada, a beef enchilada and a chicken chalupa. The beef enchilada was disgusting, the sauce was gross, the cheese enchilada was good, the chicken chalupa tasted like frozen/canned chicken. The salsa was amazing, the chips were disgusting, tasted like fried Fritos, the cheese dip was watery, the guacamole was bland, no salt, no flavor, no lime added, no jalapeños for spice, I can make a better one homemade. As a Mexican myself we’re held to higher standards regarding Mexican food, and this was not the place.

Sad to write this but I have been coming to this place for 20 plus years. I love this place. Food is always outstanding but the service in the bar area is terrible. Not so much the one poor waitress that is waiting on 10-12 tables at once. Seems management don’t care. Over the last several months it’s been just terrible. Can’t get menus, can’t get water, can’t get chips hot sauce. No manager ever comes by. Thus place use to be a special place. Now it’s just another restaurant that doesn’t care. What a shame. Go somewhere else.

Horrible place, DO NOT RECOMMEND! Server took too long to bring in my food. I came in with my sister and brother in law this evening to enjoy dinner and overheard grown employees gossiping about other employees like teenagers. Extremely unprofessional and immature. Besides that, my food came out cold and when i asked for a manager he never came to discuss my complaint. Not giving this place my money again!

We have been seated 29 minutes finally got our order taken but still no chips abd salsa which are the only reason I'm here..I'm pissed and if I don't get my chips and salsa I'm not paying.

I took my mom to the Burleson location last Sunday night. We asked for the BOGO special you guys were running last weekend. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and my mom ordered the spicy salsa rogo chicken enchiladas. We also ordered two waters. The server said there would be an up charge for my mom’s order. I asked why, he said you could only get plain enchiladas. I said my email specifically list the ones my mom ordered. I tried to show him my email and he said I can’t read that. He then said we also have to buy drinks to get the BOGO so we ordered two cokes. I said I didn’t see that mentioned on the email either. My mom’s order was wrong and he offered to have it remade. We said that was fine, we would eat what was served. He never mentioned what the up charge was and I didn’t ask, however when I received my bill I asked what was up with a triple up charge. I said using the BOGO deal with your terms cost me more than just paying full menu price. $2.99x3 plus $7.38 for sodas = $16.35 plus tax above what we should have been charged. The place was quite busy so we didn’t argue further or ask to see the manager. All he said after my questioning the bill was sorry. This should have been pretty simple I thought.

My husband and I went about a week ago. They were moderately busy. It took over 15min for us to be greeted, not the worst but I ordered a margarita and it took another 25 minutes to receive. The waitress admitted forgetting, I'm in the business so again trying to be sympathetic. About 15 minutes later our waitress comes to let us know that they ran out of the Chile con carne for my husband's enchiladas and asked what sauce he'd like instead -no suggestion so he ordered queso. Food came out almost immediately, now we've been here almost an hr and, were less than thrilled with our meal it was much less tasty than we expected. Our server comes back about 15 minutes later check ready. While the staff if very nice, the food is subpar and the service was not good. Probably won't be back.

The chips looked like Fritos, the salsa was more tomato than anything. My husband ordered the combo fajitas and the chicken tasted like soap, so we exchanged it for beef and the waitress acted like she did us a favor by not charging us another dollar for the beef. The enchiladas were ok but the flautas were cold. My husband asked for grilled jalapeño and I don’t know what they brought him but it was more bell pepper. Sorry to say never going again.

We walked in at 5:00 pm tonight and were seated right away. They weren’t busy at all, so we expected at least basic service. Instead, we sat for 20 minutes without a single person acknowledging us—not even to ask for drinks. Multiple servers walked by helping tables around us and looked directly at us, yet no one stopped to check in or say a word. After waiting with no sign that anyone intended to help us, we ended up getting up and leaving. As we walked out, everyone just watched us go, and the only thing we heard was a casual “have a good night” at the door. No one seemed to notice—or care—that we had never been served. If they had been busy, we would have understood the wait. But they weren’t. The lack of awareness and basic customer service was really disappointing.

This place had a roach crawling on the wall next to me. Then had crickets underneath our table. But the crickets, I understand. It’s that time of the year, However; I’m a restaurant manager myself, and when we first walked in, they did greet us with a warm welcome. The host was amazing! But once we sat down, one of their employees which I assume would be called a “back server” , came to us with our salsa and chips, she basically slammed our dishes down on the table with an attitude, and once we said “thank you”; she said “mhmm” and proceeded to walk away. Although, the manager did apologize on her behalf. But still, That ruined the rest of our experience at this location. Never have I ever felt so unwelcome at a restaurant. I’ve been coming here for 4yrs with my family. And now I will NOT be coming back. I’ll drive 30mins to a different location.
