Friendly host and staff, they swear all the time, and the food is delicious.
It's an authentic place, a 360-degree reflection of Italian tradition and history. We ate wonderfully. The polenta was amazing. The service was excellent. Except, perhaps, for the Manzoni, which clearly has to be postponed until September. (I'm joking, obviously.) We'll be back at the next reunion of nostalgic Italian history and cuisine lovers from around the world.
Pleasant and welcoming retro atmosphere. Expertly prepared traditional food. Highly recommended.
Absolutely worth a try! Fantastic food! The atmosphere makes you feel right at home! The staff is incredibly kind and the owner is incredibly friendly!!! 10 stars are needed!! We'll definitely be back!!

A hostaria whose welcome and service are just a great start, culminating in dishes with flavors and sensations that leave the palate and eyes completely filled with compliments. A wonderful lunch concluded with exceptional house liqueurs! The price was also excellent! See you soon!
The two guys were very kind and sweet, they made us feel at home... especially thanks to Sara who was very kind and thoughtful. We ate divinely, the Pici al Veno was SUBLIME, the pappardelle with wild boar ragù was delicious. The burger was with their homemade bread. The tiramisu was also good. Welcoming atmosphere 🧡 We will definitely be back. 10 out of 10 and thank you 😘
We stumbled upon it by chance and had a wonderful time! The atmosphere was pleasant, the place was welcoming, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We tried the friendship menu, which included an excellent cured meats appetizer, potato salad, and giardiniera, and a choice of three main courses. The wild boar roast, polenta, and venison were truly excellent. To finish, they offered us a delicious licorice and myrtle liqueur, so good I bought it. Highly recommended, even for the bill.
Hostaria del cinghiale is a guarantee! It's my 4th time here and I'm always super satisfied!! I've tried the pizzoccheri and the all-you-can-eat ribs and risotto tour. Thanks to Riccardo, Roberta, and the staff for making me feel at home. I tried the risotto tour, all excellent. For starters, a spectacular platter with typical products and especially with both hot and cold options, like meatballs and hot polenta, truly delicious. As you can see from the photos, the place is really cute and well-decorated. Ample parking, I recommend it; go to Hostaria del cinghiale, you won't be disappointed.

The right exact place if you are looking for genuine wild boar plate in lomabrdy, there are so many varieties for meat dishes, purè potato crem or fresh mushrooms, not only wines and bears but also dolce and own amaro liquor. Try on.

A night fit for a wolf, not to say a "wild boar"... it's cold, foggy, and a light, annoying drizzle. A very pleasant and delicious informal dinner, a warm welcome; polenta in two "versions" was almost a must given the evening: concia (a kind of polenta) and with brüscitt (a kind of bread). Also noteworthy is the excellent caserecci pasta dish, also with brüscitt. An excellent artisanal amaro: myrtle, sage, and licorice. Personally, I found it delicious. The service was courteous and helpful. I'll be back.
Lunch with the daily menu, not à la carte. Gnocchi with eggplant sauce: good sauce, but rubbery gnocchi. Polenta with stew: polenta too soft, almost washed out, and stew that wasn't stew at all, but rather shredded boiled meat with boiled onions. Please review the stew recipe or correct the menu!!!
The atmosphere was good, and the service was good. The staff was friendly, attentive, and pleasant. As for the menu, the first courses were good, really good. Unfortunately, however, the portions were outrageous. There were 14 of us, and they convinced us to go with the tasting menu, which included an appetizer and two first courses. Three baking dishes arrived (for two different first courses) to be shared between 14 of us, but they definitely weren't 4/5 portions per dish, which meant we had to order more, bringing the bill to €65 each (later discounted to €60). I repeat, the quality was excellent, but the portions were never seen like that, especially in an osteria. If we'd each ordered two dishes, we'd certainly have been full given the portions, but with those baking dishes, we all left hungry. The only real downside was the appetizer. Even there, two and a half platters were really meager, with two small fried dishes, some savory "chiacchiere" (I think), and a slice of cured meat each. I hope they made a mistake with the portions and forgot about them in the kitchen.
