I'm not sure why this place has such bad reviews. I order here whenever I'm in the area for work and they're wonderful. Delivery is always on time, and they even let me know when they're close/downstairs. 99% of the time they're here in less than 20 minutes from when I ordered. I've never had an issue with my order and everything is always fresh. Maybe I'm lucky that I'm fairly closeby? Who knows, but I adore this location.

Update: I spoke to Jose, the manager, this morning to let him know that his team needs better training. Jose was responsive and listened well. I'm updating this review because Jose understand the issue. He agreed to either refund or make me a new pizza at a time that is convenient for me. Jose seemed genuine in his interest to satisfy his customers if there is a legitimate reason regarding his Domino's services and products. For that, I am increasing the stars to 3. --- Initial post below. Does this look like spinach, feta, onion pizza? It went straight into the trash. When I picked it up, it was late and I waited curbside but no one came by, so I finally double parked along 14th and went in. They said it was just coming out, so I’m waiting, and I’m still waiting, when I asked why it was taking so long, they said they missed an item. I asked what and the woman said onions. I said that’s fine that I’ll take it without onions. My mistake is not opening it up before taking it because I was in a rush and now late. When I got home, it only had spinach. Just look at this sad pizza. It went straight into the trash. When I called the guy said I had to bring the pizza back and drive there 30 min round trip because it’s Sunday at 6pm to drive along Alton to South of Fifth. He also said because I took the pizza. If they had said they were missing both the feta and onions, I would not have taken the pizza. To make matters worse, when I got there there were 6 people standing around and only one person working on the pizza. The other six were standing around - one of them didn’t even have his mask over his face and was below his chin. Obviously, this team doesn’t have the right training. It’s not their fault but poor leadership and lack of ability to solve customer problems. I don’t live here, but I have to say, this is the first time I’ve been compelled to write a review for Domino’s that’s bad. Usually, like all chain restaurants, Domino’s works. Something is definitely wrong with this location. Find a different Domino location if you're getting Domino's. It's cheap and decent pizza, I agree, but there are more locations than this one.

I came to order a Hawaiian pizza, and they never told me the menu had changed. This Domino's location is just flat out horrible. If you have a clean record, and don't have plans on going to jail, then please keep it that way and not order from this location on 1426 Alton Rd, Miami Beach, FL because they will make you want to fight somebody!! If they aren't running late (I'm talking hours behind), then they are forgetting minor things like sauce, or EVEN THE CORRECT ORDER. Oh and don't bother trying to call... Working Over 10 years in the hospitality field, I know a thing or two about service. This was not my case with my recent experience with Dominoes Pizza. Not only did I wait 2 HOURS for my order, but then when I called the store to ask what happened to my order, I was placed on a LOOOONG hold then I was hanged up on. I had to call back. There were no apologies, Then they told me that they couldn't get a hold of the driver to find out what happened to my order. I then had to SUGGEST compensation to which I had to leave home, to go pick up my pizza and to demand a refund. Once, I got to the store Derrick started giving me attitude, did not want to acknowledge my presence by speaking to me, turned his back, and went to call a manager. Lucille was pleasant however when asked what happened to my pizza derrick replied 'maybe you ate it' I have never been so shocked and disgusted and treated like this anywhere! STAY AWAY DON'T ORDER SPEND A FEW EXTRA BUCKS SOMEWHERE ELSE, AT LEAST YOUR FOOD WILL ARRIVE ON TIME NOT THE ATTITUDE!

The store has problems reading the orders or they deliberately cut the amount of ingredients especially if it is peroni, ham or salami... It is very frustrating to receive a poorly made pizza but much more frustrating is to see your children upset because the pizza does not come with their favorite ingredients.... The administrators of this store seem to believe that saving on ingredients that the customer pays benefits them... but it is not like that and, a free pizza does not compensate at any time for the bad time that my children spend not being able to eat what they like so much....

The staff at this Dominos Store, located at Miami Beach Alton Road and 14 Street. does not comply with any standard of cleanliness and hygiene, the staff prepares the pizzas without any type of gloves or without washing their hands, the same person who is preparing the pizza, leaves the orders on hold, and goes to work as cashier taking cash and not washing your hands go back and prepare the next pizza, (I’m attaching photos ) this is a very serious thing, health depends on cleanliness when preparing food, also on the floor there are cockroaches walking all over the store. OMG, they should close this store, call Pest Control, and fine them for not having hygiene standards in food preparation.

Terrible experience. I waited nearly 2 hours for delivery before driving to the store, which was only 5 minutes away once traffic cleared. My food was just sitting there the whole time. They gave me a soda to “make up” for it, but the pizza was cold. To top it off, some workers were inside barefoot. Never again.

Pizza was never delivered. Manager does not understand what Apple Pay is and was as helpful as speaking to a brick. Long story short they did not deliver my pizza and could not refund because they do not understand that Apple Pay does not have a physical card. The driver EDWIN and the manager Jorge Luis Figueroa are ****. Waited 20 minutes before the manager FIGUEROA would even speak to me because apparently he was on a very important phone call. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received as I made an order just before 900pm for delivery of a pizza and not only did I not receive a delivery of said pizza witch was undergoing quality checks by 910pm but also was held on the phone system stans by system for over an hour before the system decided to handg up on me, but also ended up having to manually go into the store and pick up my pizza, according to them this was because of a wrong digit in my phone number but considering I had been standing outside my apartment and was the only one on the who street let alone address to be actively looking for someone this excuse rings as just that, especially since I know they posses my email and have Order and received calls from this Domino's before. This has been the worst Domino's experience I have ever had all for something that should have been easily resolved if they had just answered the phone. And in the end I walked home with a cold pizza hoping that they won't attemp to charge me for the delivery fee. At this point I cannot recommend Domino's to anyone, as I am not sure they will ever receive an order from me again. Depending on the resolution of this problem as I plan on taking it up with a manager tomorrow once I halve calmed down and seen if they will attempt to charge me for delivering my own pizza, then I'll have to decide if risk going through this again, or if I should pass around word to my friends of this experience. I sincerely hope no one has experienced simmilar service.

Every single time I order pizza it gets over cooked. Looks dry. The last two times I ordered NY style pizza it was dry and thin. Then today I didn’t get the 8 pc garlic Parmesan delivered. I called and when they dropped it off they handed me plain wings slapped with ranch. I called to complain and the lady wanted to tell me that she sent me the right wings. I asked for a refund and she said I had to wait to get a call back from Jose the manager the following day. I said okay and ended the conversation there. The lady called me to try to argue with me that she doesn’t have ranch laying around. I don’t understand why she would dare to call me back to tell me this as if I have time to waste with her instead of eating my food. This is so disappointing.

Literally the worst experience ordering pizza in my life. I live four blocks away from the restaurant. Yes somehow it took 45 minutes to get delivered from the time the driver left the store. I tried MULTIPLE TIMES calling the store, a guy answered twice yelling “please hold” and put me on hold before I could even say anything. Never picked up the line again. Food was absolutely terrible and cold. Do not waste your time or money. I can’t believe i paid for this garbage and horrible service. This location needs a reevaluation.

This place screw up my pizza tried to give me the wrong pizza twice then after I spoke with a team member they promised they were going to remake my pizza and speak with the manager, immediately when they got off the phone with me. After that for 2 hours they would not answer my phone calls and put me on hold at least four times I called back 6 times and I am currently on hold right now this place has terrible customer services. I can’t believe that this establishment is ok being ran like that. Right now I’ve been on hold again already for 11 mins with no response I think they just scan the call and send me right to hold and not answer.

I had an unbelievably terrible experience with Domino's in Alton. I ordered a pizza (Order #3010), which took 9 hours to supposedly "make" and it never even arrived! I called more than 30 times, but got no response and was repeatedly hung up on. This is completely unprofessional and feels like a scam. The app falsely indicated that my order was delivered, but I never received it. To top it off, they still charged me! Shame on Domino's and the staff at this location. The manager never answered either. Stay away unless you want to be scammed! Unless you want to go to bed without eating dinner very bad customer service never ordering from this place again you should be ashamed !!!!!!

I placed an online order of 1 large pepperoni pizza and 1 garlic chicken ranch sandwich. It took 50 minutes for delivery and then...the order was not fresh or correct. The pizza was dried up and cold and I received something that looked like burnt cheese BBQ tots and not the chicken sandwich. When the order reached me the store was already closed. When I finally did get someone the next day I was told that they wouldn't replace the pizza but they would replace the sandwich but I would have to pay the delivery fee even though it was them that got the order wrong. I was there on vacation but I will never order from that location

The oven in this place runs too cool and your pizza comes out like soup. Called and asked for another pizza and was just insulted, employeed repeated herself 5 times that it was cooked when I asked for another pizza. Picture speaks for itself, toppings were running off the side into corners of the box. Dough was not cooked fully at all. Cooked it another 30 min in my own oven, could not be saved. Terrible customer service, didn't offer to help make the situation right. Avoid this location at all costs.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Unbelievable, the terrible experience I had at this place. I called to place an order, and they told me they didn't have a POS system and that I could give them my card number. I did, and they charged me three times for the order. After that, I called again to report the issue, and the same man who took my order rudely told me they had nothing to do with it and that I should sort it out with the bank. While I was on the phone with the bank and waiting for the order to arrive, which took about 20 minutes, it finally arrived, and I told my girlfriend to go pick it up while I spoke with the bank. When my girlfriend got back, she told me that the man asked her if we were going to leave a tip. She said no because of the charge (I always tip), and he threw the pizza at her and told my girlfriend to tell me I was stupid for not leaving a tip. I've been here for two hours now, the bank hasn't refunded the extra charges and I haven't been able to confront the store because they don't answer, even though their opening hours are until midnight.

Terrible service. Monday Dec 2 I ordered a pizza for delivery about 9 blocks away from the store. Pizza arrived over an hour later and it was the wrong pizza. So I called the store and was told they are sending me a new pizza. Cool no problem. Another hour passes so I called them back. This time I was told that the deliver driver went home and I was not getting my pizza. I tried to call the store numerous times for a refund and I get no response from a Manager. Manager is always too busy to process me a refund apparently. Such BS. Get your manners together and do the right thing.

Someone fraudulently used my credit card at Domino's 3889 for $125.51 on 3/30/15 at 10:19 ET and I notified manager Amina as soon as I got off the phone with my credit card company. She put me on hold, so I hung up. I called back and said nooo don't put me on hold, I barely told her what had happened and she hung up on me. Tried to call her again (maybe we had a bad connection, she put me on hold again....THEY HAD THE ABILITY TO STOP THE FRAUDULENT SALE---DELIVERED IT ANYWAY!! I'M SURE SOMEONE NOTICED 10 PIZZAS GOING OUT THE DOOR AT ONE TIME, PROBABLY HAD TO USE TWO HANDS TO DO IT! We waited for over an hour with no update to our online order. I then called and waited 10 minutes to finally speak to someone. Halfway through waiting I saw my order was cancelled. When they finally picked up, they said my order was cancelled because they were understaffed and did not have any drivers... So they sat on my order for over an hour until they decided to cancel. Ordered 3 pizzas for a 1pm delivery on a weekday. By 1:15 I tried to call to see why it wasn't updating on the tracker. By 1:45, they have still not answered the phone. There is no other option to contact them and no communication from them. Don't order from them and dispute your charge if you did. Twice I had a bad experience with these outlet, first time order came after 2.30 hrs late, they didn’t even answer calls and second time order came on time but they add mushrooms to my pizza where I didn’t even mention to add as I have a allergy to mushrooms, and when I complained about same they didn’t even refund me. Will not recommend to anyone.
