Avis sur Taylor's Made Conway
On our way from Texas to Branson, we had to find a place for lunch. I pull up Waze and trip advisor to see what’s around and decide on this place. Upon pulling up from the back side, it’s a hole in the wall. But aren’t those always the best?! Yes! This place did not disappoint! The sandwiches are soooo good! I had the club and it came out hot, the meat was thick, and the bacon was delish! My husband had the Reuben because it came with beef brisket and it was the best sandwich at the table! They even had Blantons at the bar. Would definitely come back!
Had probably the best country fried steak plate of my life at like 9pm here last night. I cry because I was only passing through town and will have the drive 2 and a half hours to get it again
Great food, but, in my opinion it is a little pricey however. On the other hand, you don't get quite a bit of food . Service was great, and the atmosphere is like down home.
What a cool little out of the way place. Good food , great service in a great setting. So glad I stumbled on it and wish I could spend a little time in their bar
This place is a bit out of the middle of nowhere. It used to be a gas station. Waitress,Becca, was very friendly and a ray of sunshine.A good variety menu and decent prices. My husband had Ahi Tuna and it was delicious! Cooked to perfection. Served with wasabi sauce and soy sauce. I had the turkey bacon Swiss wrap and mac and cheese. It had a homemade white cheddar cheese sauce. Its hard to find decent mac and cheese at a restaurant, but this was yummy!Got to watch a train go by. We live a little over an hour from here and would drive there just to eat lunch and back home!
Food was great i mean everything and the prices for the quality of food is cheap. I had a few drinks, blackened tuna, mixed vegetables and beer for under $80. The establishment is nice and quiet with a warm comfortable feel. I recommend this place 100 percent. Ps, when you do visit ask for, Pella and she will take good care of you!
Best food that I have had in a long time! Definitely give it a try. We had Ahi Tuna with fried squash and sauteed vegetables and I had the 21 day aged ribeye with the same sides. And great prices! Love this place so much!! Had to bring my friends when we were passing through!! They ordered the Shrimp and Grits and Grilled Catfish. And of course, I got my favorite Ahi Tuna. Everyone loved it!! Homemade onion rings were perfect!
Incredible food at very reasonable prices. Owners are magnificent. So is ALL the staff. Fun place.
My fiancé and I just had a baby and are in Conway regional for thanksgiving. Saw that Taylors made was doing thanksgiving plates and called last minute. Stacy answered and originally said that they would not be able to accommodate because of how busy they were. Told her our situation and she said she would make it happen! So nice to have people like this that are just good people! The food was excellent as well! 10/10 would recommend! Super sweet and very kind!
Tonight was our first visit to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The Fried Mushrooms were excellent. My wife had the Smothered Chicken, my mother-in-law had the open faced roast beef sandwich and I had the cheddar chicken. For sides we had pinto beans, fried okra, and fried squash. Everything was delicious and portion size was more than ample (we had leftovers to go). If you are in the area please stop by, you will not be disappointed!
Great place to hang out! Story is that the original building started as a saloon in early part of last century, then eventually got converted to a service station, then later got renovated & remodeled into a bar & grill… which it still is now. Attentive staff. Clean bathroom. Entertainment several times a week. We’ll definitely be back.
A few weeks ago we ordered takeout from Taylor’s Made Café in Mayflower, and everything was really good. We got the cheese dip, catfish, patty melt, and smothered steak, and each one was flavorful and cooked just right. The catfish was crispy, the smothered steak had great seasoning and gravy, and the patty melt was hearty and filling. The cheese dip was a nice surprise, creamy and full of flavor. The total for food and tip for three people was about $50, which isn’t bad at all for the quality and portions. Overall, great food, good service, and we’ll definitely be ordering from there again.
Updated…. July 2025 So let me preface this review of the food was great! As you can tell from the appetizer pics, I ate first then thought about the review! Appetizers Ahi tuna- love it, order it every time we dine at this wonderful restaurant. Mix the wasabi and soy sauce and get to town on the seared tuna. Fried green tomatoes- fried to perfection, a southern delicacy! These fried green tomatoes were perfect. Lightly battered paired a creamy remoulade sauce. Entrees! Aged ribeye- my aged ribeye was cooked perfectly medium. Had great seasoning on it. I was Surprised at how tender it was. Overall, a great steak. I continued with a side salad and another southern delicacy of fried squash. Both were really good. I love some fried squash. My wife ordered the salmon entrée- It had a pink pineapple relish on top of it. She would not let me take a bite, I’m assuming that meant it was very good! The only negative about the whole experience was the temperature of the restaurant. It’s an older building and when it’s 100° outside, it’s hot inside. Other than that, the food was amazing as always. Until next time! —————————————— First time at Taylor's Made. We had a large group so we sat outside the restaurant. It's probably a nice area for music and hanging out but it started to storm so we luckily found a seat inside. Food didn't take long to get. Ordered the pork rinds for appetizer. They were really good. I had the grilled chicken chef salad... kind of hard to screw up a salad! The chicken was good and the tomatoes were fresh. Wife ordered the mixed grill shrimp and catfish with fried okra... okra was really good... none of that frozen stuff. Positives: great place to hangout get a drink and relax. Food is good. Negatives.. bar area gets really loud when crowded, and lots of fried foods on appetizers and menu. Next time I go I will try something new!
I think it depends on the cook as to how your food is going to taste. One time I ordered Fried Pickles and you couldn't even cut through them. The next they were cooked to perfection. If there in the evening ask for Pella's section. SHE'S THE ABSOLUTE BEST
I've heard such good things about this place so I really did not expect this experience. We ordered a Ruben and A Cheeseburger. The Ruben barely had meat and hardly no sauercraut. The burger was so overdone it was dry and not edible. The only good thing we had was the fried mushrooms. Even the mozzarella sticks were not cooked all the way.
