Higher quality tea than most boba places in the area, if you're looking for some decent tea choices this might be the place. I got the cheese cream green tea and the taro milk tea with boba. We ordered two drinks and I asked if I could change one of them from a regular size to large after they made the drink already and they were nice enough to make the change for me. I read some people had bad experiences here but the service wasn't so bad the time I visited. I've heard good things about their Hokkaido milk tea, would be back to try that out some other time.

Love the quality of drinks at Ding Tea. I think the drinks are pretty consistent with other locations. I placed an order for a drink and popcorn chicken on the Clover app. The app said it would be ready in 20 minutes and when I got there, it was ready and exactly 20 minutes. I’ve never ordered popcorn chicken from other boba shops so I can’t compare. It was $6.79 and I thought it was pretty good. The staff is really nice and friendly. Parking is good and not a lot of traffic at 11:30am on a Wednesday.

My favorite place to get boba. The golden boba in unlike anything else, and I really enjoy how you can customize your drink with sweetness level and amount of ice. I recommend the passion fruit milk tea, and lychee green tea.

As with most Ding Tea locations, this one is beautiful and serves consistently good drinks. I love how you can customize your sweetness and ice levels. The location of this store is in a crowded strip mall, but parking was pretty easy to find and once inside we ordered and had our drinks in about 5 minutes. Fast, friendly service, clean interior and also many spots to get the perfect Insta pic.

Not a huge fan of the butterfly teas, but this is quickly becoming my favorite Boba spot in Costa Mesa. The Cajun fries alone warrant visiting at least once. The boba is a great texture. The teas are flavorful and consistent. The popcorn chicken could be SLIGHTLY better, but is still in the top 3 places nearby to get it. Staff is nice and all wear masks. 100% coming back.

I love Ding Tea. Been coming here for years! The popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries are mouth watering. I recommend the oolong and jasmine milk tea. I also really enjoy the golden boba and lychee jelly.

Really happy about the customer service here! I placed an order online for a lychee Yakult and a couple minutes later they called and said they were out of Yakult, and asked if I wanted a refund or a different drink. I was already on the way over, so I said I’d get there and pick a new drink there. I got there and ordered a different drink, and they apologized profusely for running out of Yakult, and offered me a second drink to make up for it. Great customer service, and great drinks too! (Ended up with a lychee milk tea and a condensed milk coffee, which were both good)

Very kind workers! My drink broke from the bottom right after getting it cause the straw broke the cup and it was closing time. One of the workers offered to remake the drink for me! Thank you for the great service here :)

I love boba and was in the area. I hadn’t heard anything about the place and just decided to give it a go. I tried a peach green tea with boba. I tried it as is and it was sweeter than I’d usually get, but that was expected. I wanted to try it that way as a baseline. At most shops I’ll order my drink 1/2 to 1/4 sweet. Here I’ll probably get it 1/2 sweet when I go again.

Great value, diverse menu, lightning fast service, clean shop. Toppings are delicious, unique, and just sweet enough that you can taste the flavor AND the tea. Ding Tea's special menu drinks are only available at this location! Can't find apple, guava, or blueberry milk teas anywhere else in the area. :)

Consistent taste with all other Ding Tea stores. Plenty of parking. Some seatings inside. Drinks are usually on the sweet side for me so I usually order 75% sweet. Drinks have good balance between sweetness, tea, and whatever other flavor you choose.

Perfectly good boba. Standard menu with the usual suspects, along with a couple more unique options. Got a taro latte boba, which felt a bit watery, and the monster boba (their signature drink), which is a brown sugar drink sans tea and coffee. I got it with 50% sweetness and it was lovely. As a warning, their ice and sugar level terminology is different than other places I’ve gone (eg less ice meant 70% ice here, but at other places I’ve been it means the minimal ice amount).

They have ok tea, some is higher quality than some others, but they do not allow credit cards to be used for transactions under $5, and of course all the teas are less than $5 so they will make you pull out your Chase there and so the wait just gets longer and longer to order your tea. They also do not have stamp cards, like almost every other tea place. I had the signature tea with cheese foam. The tea was great, but the cheese foam was not as good as I expected. Not enough cheese and zero salt, which made the foam taste bad to me.

Drinks were alright here! However, the staff were inattentive and did not add proper toppings to our drinks. Boba was a little on the small side, but it was perfectly chewy. I got the butterfly drink and it came in a pretty color. I got it 50% sugar but it was still superrr sweet; I’d go for 25% next time. My bf got the taro marble drink which also was really pretty. However… His drink was way too milky for me. The taro flavor was highly masked by the whole milk taste. Tasted like pure heart disease.

1. DOES NOT take cash!! 2. Signature milk tea tastes watered down versus the same at other Ding Teas. NOWHERE enough sugar for a regular boba drink with no mods. 3. More expensive than other Ding Tea locations. $5.80 for a regular signature with boba.

Was looking for a boba shop around the area (I’m not from here). The light wasn’t on, the workers were no where to be found, unsure if the shop was even open. Once noticed that they have customers, they were disrespectful and made my drink as well as, my sisters’ drink gross. Do not recommend coming back here again.
