I came here to try the Charged Lemonade before it disappears for good. The food is about as good as I remember, but the prices sure have gone up. I got a half salad and half sandwich, and the heavily-caffeinated lemonade, and it was $25 with a tip. It was nice that they gave a warning when I wanted to try the viral drink.

Meets expectations for a good Panera Bread. The outside seating is nice on sunny days, but it's usually pretty cold. Great soups and salads. Consistent every time.

Food and space is great. But, you guys need someone to do the rounds of wiping down the tables and chairs with a clean wet rag every 15-30 minutes. They're filthy. It's disgusting. But, there's room for improvement. Please act on it, now. I'm watching you guys and would like to see a great improvement. Today is November 24th, 2025. Thank you!

The menu is SO confusing. You really don’t know what the cost is for ONE item. They put the pricing for their weird “two item option”. It was really frustrating to order and the lady at the counter was trying so hard to be helpful.

About once a year I decide I’m going to try Panera again and see if it is at all decent. Every time I am expecting to be disappointed and I almost always am disappointed. The number one problem is they have set it up so that you just feel like a Cog going down an assembly line rather than being served and treated as a human. Yes, you can order at the counter but you are encouraged to use the touchscreen first. If you don’t understand Panera’s jargon (which I do not) it will offer you things like “pick two“ without any explanation as to what that means. He then walked down a uninviting hallway labeled “rapid pick up” where there is a bench that you were apparently supposed to sit on and wait until you are called. You can also have them take your phone number or text you when your order is ready or pick up a pager and have that beep when your order is ready, however there were no pagers and I don’t feel like I want to give them my phone number. Eventually somebody screams your name from a high counter in the hallway and you were presented with mediocre food. The dining area is actually reasonably nice but nobody seems to be cleaning the tables, vacuuming or even looking around to see if anyone needs anything. I guess I’m still disappointed and well try again next year or wait for them to go out of business.

Disappointed with my deceiving sandwich. I picked the picture sandwich and got something not resembling the picture. Soup was good. Staff was cordial, place was clean, service was good!

So prices have gone up as they have elsewhere I suppose, but is this what I paid for? Seriously!? If I’m paying more I want a decent sandwich at the very least. This has happened several times here at the Daly City location. And they don’t answer the phones, I guess so they don’t hear all the complaints.

Run by Terrible arrogant rude staff this place needs a serious facelift from the inside out , counters are filthy , garbage cans over flow , not tidy , staff unhappy very unwelcoming , I used to use them for all my Corporate Catering needs , Never again ! What a DUMP!
