I recently visited Del Frisco’s in Cherry Creek for brunch and was impressed from start to finish. I used to visit their Houston location years ago, and this experience reminded me why I’ve always liked this restaurant. The brunch menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and everything we tried was excellent. The customizable Champagne ProblemsSolutions mimosa setup was a fun touch. Del’s Deviled Eggs were perfectly seasoned. The gingerbread pancakes were soft and flavorful with great texture. The braised short rib benedict was rich and memorable. Service was attentive, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want for a weekend brunch: inviting, relaxed, and consistent. If you’re searching for a well executed brunch in the Cherry Creek area, Del Frisco’s is an easy recommendation.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Culinary Experience at Del Frisco’s – Denver From the moment I walked into Del Frisco’s in Denver, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between upscale elegance and inviting warmth, setting the stage for what turned out to be an exceptional dining experience. The highlight of my evening was, without question, the perfectly cooked beef—an exquisite cut, seared to perfection, bursting with flavor, and so tender it literally melted in my mouth. It wasn’t just a steak; it was a symphony of taste and texture. Juicy, rich, and expertly seasoned, it delivered one of the most delightful culinary sensations I’ve ever had. What truly elevated the experience was the impeccable customer service. The staff was gracious, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. Every detail, from wine recommendations to the timing of each course, was handled with professionalism and care. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in the pleasures of fine dining, Del Frisco’s is a must-visit destination in Denver. I left feeling satisfied, impressed, and already looking forward to my next visit. Yeah!
Absolutely phenomenal! The filet mignon is exquisite and the mashed potatoes and baked potato are exceptional! Highly recommend. Service is wonderful as well!
I had the best experience here! Service was top tier and I really enjoyed the free dessert for my birthday dinner. Will definitely be coming back for happy hour! 10/10 recommend!
OMG! 6 stars. I really liked the walkability from our hotel and just took a gamble on something we didn’t even really look up. Amazing from Caesar salad all the way to the outstanding Bread Pudding. I would drive to Denver for this Bread pudding alone. My husband doesn’t care for desserts, it’s always my choice. It was the best dessert he’s ever had. His words. And for him to compliment a steak… is huge.
My hubby and I ate here for the first time and the food and service was fabulous. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. We only got appetizers and drinks but excited to go back and try dinner or lunch.
Elevated dishes. Lively atmosphere. Excellent service. I’ve been here several times for happy hour/dinner and it’s consistently amazing. We order the cheesesteak egg rolls, cheese curds, and a few other items and they were great. Shelby behind the bar was very helpful with the menu suggestions and drink choices. Parking is off street meter or there is a parking garage below that is fairly reasonable. All in all, a fantastic place to dine or pop in for a quick bite/drink
Del Frisco's in Cherry Creek, Denver, provides an exceptional dining experience. The service is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff ensuring every need is met. The atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable, perfect for any occasion. The food is very good, with succulent steaks and delicious sides. Overall, a great place for a top-notch meal.
Hands down the best filet & crabcake I've ever had! I made reservations for our team of 7 after working the Cedia tradeshow. Every appetizer, entre & dessert we had was amazing! I called last minute & changed to earlier & they were not only polite on the phone but accommodated us beautifully! We had our own private table in a room with our own TV & curtains. The lighting was just perfect. It was just what we wanted & it made our special occasion dinner feel just that & more!
Stopped by for a solo lunch since I had to be in the area. As a first time visitor I didn't realize that the lounge area was open seating and waited a few minutes before someone came over. After being seated I was greeted and served by the bartender. She was friendly and helpful but not overbearing in her frequency of stopping by my table. I ordered a steakhouse salad which was delicious and exactly what I was craving. This felt like a great place to come for food and the ambience was dark and moody. Probably even better in the evening!
Went to DFG for a big dinner in one of their private rooms in the back and had a wonderful meal with excellent service. Usually prefer the traditional setting in the DTC but the level of attention to detail from the waitstaff plus the quality of food from the sides to the dessert was top notch. The Pittsburgh bone-in rib-eye was dynamite, would def order again for the next special occasion. Side note, the art around the restaurant is pretty awesome for a steakhouse.
We had such a great time last night at Del Frisco Grill in Cherry Creek. I am only sorry that I don't remember my server's name. She was absolutely incredible!
Fantastic service and delicious food. Highly recommend!
The service at Del Frisco's Grille is absolutely extraordinary! There is simply no other way to explain it. From the hostess to the bartenders to the servers, everyone is dialed in to provide the best service for the customer possible. The atmosphere is what one has come to expect of the Del Frisco's brand, first class in every way. The food was solid. The beverage menu and the talent behind the bar are first rate! Overall, the experience at Del Frisco's Grille was a great one!
Had some cocktails, the Bloody Mary and Mimosa was good, but the Hazelnut Expresso was my favorite. Everything was amazing and perfect! For appetizer, we had the ahi tuna tacos, flavored just right! Omg, the Ribeye with Lobster Mac and Cheese was so stinkin' good flavors were blended with perfection. Everything was bow down good!
Consistently delicious food, new menu offerings and good service. The patio is really nice if you get a chance to sit out there. There is an elevator which is nice especially if anyone in your party has mobility issues. Best beets of my life! Several great menu choices. My only complaint is that they use syrup in most of their cocktails. For people that prefer natural or less sugary options, this take the fun out of the creative cocktail menu but they will make anything you'd like.
Visited this eatery for a romantic dinner for my anniversary. VERY much enjoyed! The atmosphere here is everything. Jacob was our host/waiter and he was AMAZING! Jacob was very informative on the menu/kitchen orders. We came in late night and he notified us on last call and timeframe to place order. He came back periodcally to check on us. In a place where we spent the whole weekend encountering lack luster service, Jacob was a breath of fresh air. He was even able to give us info on where to find good night life entertainment in the area. The food was fantastic as always. Drinks were great tasting and potent. I had the Tid Bit and husband had an Old Fashion, both were on point. I was so amazed at the cut of the pork chop being so tender and juicy. I wish the salmon was crusted better but it did not disappoint.
We went her for Easter brunch. They had a great Easter menu. Our server was wonderful, drinks were refilled in a timely manner and food was brought out fast.
Great place great staff and management..Food of course is spot on...accessible location..parking garage and some street parking...safe area etc
The upstairs patio is the spot to be in the summer. Nice decor downstairs in steakhouse vibes. Simple and somewhat basic for offerings and presentations, staff was kind. Drinks were ok. Not the shining star of cherry creek but glad you’re here, Del Frisco!!
Wonderful place! Everything was amazing. Garage parking that they will validate. 10/10 recommend!
A upscale dining perfect restaurant right in cherry creek. I ate the braised short ribs, and my date had the roasted chicken both dishes were phenomenal. The cocktail menu had a wide variety of choices to match anyone’s preference. The atmosphere was dim and romantic. And the service was wonderful as well! Our server was very attentive (I wish I got his name) but we were never without water and anything else we needed.
Delicious ham for Easter 🐣 good service at bar. Thanksgiving meal. Good happy hour cheesesteak eggrolls, dip sandwich and ribs are favorites.
TOP NOTCH!! The food, the drinks, the service - all 5-star. The filet melts in your mouth, the ribeye flavor is amazing, the short rib stroganoff - oh so good, the meat falls apart, no knife required. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the deviled eggs, I've had better. Collin, our server, defines exceptional service - respectful, fun, and professional. The drinks are crafted to perfection - block ice for the old fashioned and bourbon options, just like it should be! My personal favorite was the youth serum 👌👍 Make a reservation & you won't be disappointed!
The food was fabulous, the service (entire wait staff) was exemplary (no rush between appetizers, salads and meal). We will definitely return. Thanks so much for a wonderful dining experience!
We ate in the bar. Love the atmosphere. The waitress was friendly. The food was really good, so we're the drinks.
Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse is exceptional. The food is outstanding, and the service is top tier. You feel taken care of. The General Manager and Miguel, our server, made us feel like we were transported to the golden era of a top-notch classy steakhouse with impeccable service. The General Manager's quality of service and level of care for the customer is superior to other restaurants. The food is great but how Miguel and the GM made us feel is the reason we will return for another meal.
Brought my group of 8 gals to celebrate our monthly birthday brunch. We all had a wonderful time. Food was delish. Host today was kind - I believe From Texas- didn’t get her name. Aubree was our server and she was patient and wonderful. No one complained. They had us in a private area. 4 of the birthday gals got these delicious cheesecakes and our group got to sing them happy birthday. Thank you del friscos team.
My fiancé and I came here on Christmas Day as we couldn't be with our family this year and wanted to treat ourselves to a nice meal. Our. meals were super tasty,! love a good steak & some mash, and our server Heather was so sweet and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We'll definitely be back in the new year.
My Birthday Dinner was wonderful! Steaks were amazing, "Perfect Margarita" was perfect and Lemon Cake was a delicious ending to this celebration! Mo was a great server & very attentive! I will be back before my next birthday...Cheers to Del Frisco's!
I had the most amazing birthday here. I had a table of friends with food restrictions and the staff went out of their way to make the evening special. The food was amazing and the staff were exceptional. Best happy hour in cherry creek.
I just enjoyed a nice birthday lunch. Our appetizers were good — deviled eggs and cheesesteak egg rolls. The egg rolls stole the show! My main was their shaved steak sandwich — essentially a French dip sandwich — with onion rings. The onion rings were amazing, the sandwich was a very generous portion. It’s not mentioned on the menu, but worth noting that the sandwich had a very distinct garlic taste. Menu is attached.
We love trying new steak restaurants. Del Frisco’s did not disappoint. Made a reservation thru Openable. Found out this location is considered a grille since they have a more upscale restaurant at another location. Our dinner and service was amazing. We were greeted warmly and seated right away, only downside was they have a rooftop patio that was never offered (was not offered on the reservation app). We didn’t know until we walked out & heard people, we asked and was told, oh yea that’s our rooftop patio. Food. Our dinner started with pretzel bread & honey butter, so good! We ordered a few appetizers: CRISPY PROSCIUTTO & FIG FLATBREAD, DEL'S DEVILED EGGS, ICEBERG LETTUCE WEDGE and BURRATA CAPRESE. For our main courses we ordered: 8oz FILET MIGNON and USDA PRIME NEW YORK STRIP. Steaks were cooked medium per our request & they were perfect. I highly recommend getting the Bourbon Bacon Butter, this topped each steak. We also ordered their Old Fashion drinks, it was delicious and made right! Overall this is a nice restaurant for a business lunch/dinner, romantic dinner or a group event dinner. We noticed there were private dining rooms behind the wine was. Restroom was clean. The only downsides were not being offered patio seating and our server never offered dessert, so we didn’t get to order. Fun lil spot in Cherry Creek area, parking is a bit challenging.
I ordered a well-done NY strip steak. Was a little burnt, but I did ask for it. Well done. I've had better steak. The wife enjoyed her dinner. The cocktail was great. It's a bit pricey, but hey, it's one of those "fancy" restaurants.
Had a lovely brunch and ordered the eggs Benedict and strawberry french toast along with a mimosa. Everything was delicious for the most part. The french toast was a little too mushy so I probably wouldn’t order that again and the mascarpone that came with it was very hard as if it came from the freezer. The hollandaise sauce that came with the eggs benedict was delicious. Great service as well. We went on a Sunday so there was free 3 hour street parking nearby. Overall a great time!
Welcome to another review from Charlie - I recently dined at Del Frisco's Grille and had the opportunity to try their Ribeye, Mahi-Mahi, Egg Rolls, and Cheese Curds. While the fish was okay but a little dry, the steak presentation was poor and the steak itself was decent but nothing remarkable given the price. The egg rolls were okay, providing a satisfactory appetizer option. However, I found the cheese curds to be overly salty, which affected my enjoyment of them. On a positive note, the service was great, with a helpful and attentive server who enhanced the overall dining experience. Hope you found this review helpful! Cheers 🥂
Amazing food, but service was lacking. The Food: The filet mignonette was absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. We got the truffle butter with it and it’s an absolute must have! So flavorful and added so much to each bite. The mashed potatoes weren’t anything special, just a basic chunky mashed potatoe. We got an extra side of Brussels sprouts which were tasty but a little undercooked and too crunchy. The drinks were nice, the rose drink had a little popsicle in it which was fun! The Service: Our waitress seemed out of it as she was serving us the whole night. She seemed a little jittery, and not very present. She forgot to take the empty wine glasses off the table so the table was cluttered. She would disappear for periods of time leaving us with empty water. I wanted another alcoholic drink, so I had to ask a different member of the staff to find her. I watched as he he walked over the entire restaurant looking for her, and then saw him stop and ask two different waiters where she was. I asked her for her help with navigating an allergy, and she forgot that one of the sides had dairy in it, so I had to ask them to make me some thing else after the food has been served. This left me with eating the main course by itself completely and then having my side afterwards alone. She did look busy with other tables, so I understand that. But, I was expecting more from a restaurant of this quality.
Came here with a friend for a pre birthday dinner. Taking off a star because the rooftop was closed. Not sure why it’s closed but disappointing as I was looking to sit there. The food and drinks were amazing. Got the penne vodka with chicken, the sangria Rosa and truffle fries. Service was great and was quiet for a Friday night. Will definitely be back again
Filets were nice… cooked perfectly. Sides (creamed spinach - a LOT of cheese, not our preferred style, broccolini - just ok, tops were pretty wet/mushy whole stems were tough). My first time at a Del Friscos, most likely won’t return, just wasn’t that impressive for the price.
We ordered Deviled Eggs, Guacamole and chips and the Pan-Seared Scallops. I wasn't very impress with the food. It took more than 30 minutes to get my water and wine. I can say the rooftop was very nice.
The food was pretty fine. Wasn’t fabulous and didn’t seem too fresh but was okay overall. Service was very slow and underwhelming. They do not have proper billing for happy hour and they took forever to try and fix the bill. Be sure to check your bill before charging your card as it sounds like it this happens frequently. Likely will not be back for dinner. Good happy hour prices!
For the price, the food was not that great. I had ribeye steak my partner had fish and chips. Fish and chips was pretty tasty because of the sauce. The steak was not worth the price I paid. You can get a far better quality and taste at longhorn steakhouse for the same price if not cheaper. I believe the staff should use gender neutral pronouns because both the server and manager misgendered me. I recently had surgery and because of that my hair is short. Maybe that is why, but I felt uncomfortable nevertheless. The restaurant looked high quality, to me, the food was not that high quality. Our server was very attentive besides misgendering me. We will not be coming back to this restaurant.
I had made a reservation to celebrate my wife’s recent promotion and unfortunately our night out to celebrate at Del Frisco’s was a huge disappointment. I had made a reservation and put a note that we were celebrating, and it was never mentioned and we were also sat smack dab in the middle of the dining room with plenty of open booths around that also stayed empty during our entire experience. The service was beyond slow, as our server had a 16 top and 3 two tops, ourselves included. Whet he finally was able to come back we ordered apps and drinks. All three of our appetizers were delivered and we were half way through them before our first round of drinks made it to the table. We sat with dirty dishes on our table for a good minute with the manager in clear view and he never once stopped by or seemed to offer help to his clearly overwhelmed server. We had drinks that were empty and no one around to stay on top of refills. Overall, very sub par service and atmosphere!
I ordered them on Uber thinking they were a completely different steakhouse. They were listed as Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, however, they are not the same. Attempted to give it a shot as I couldn’t get a refund for my order. Got a Filet and bone in ribeye, lobster Mac n cheese and brussel sprouts, and shrimp cocktail. So I wanted to like the steak but it didn’t have much flavor, the shrimp cocktail taste like it had been sitting out for awhile, and the lobster Mac n cheese had no cheese, very little lobster meat and the lobster taste like it was old and went bad. I was able to get a credit for the Mac n cheese from Uber, however, I’m upset I spent over $200 for such a disappointing meal, I would’ve preferred a full refund :( I also feel like I’d been tricked thinking it was a different restaurant. They need to update the name to their correct name so people know what they’re signing up for.
Went to Del Frisco rooftop to enjoy the nice weather. Umbrella's were poorly positioned and completely ineffective (you will sit in the full sun) but maybe the umbrella's are mainly to keep the bar staff cool. Staff was slow and had to wait a long time for someone to give us menus and water. Ordered the branzino and the salad was old, clearly yellow lettuce leaves and wilted.
Waitress was good I am allergic to avocado and they never told me it was made with apricot and Ranch the food portions was very small for the price my husband got the burger and it was very good so all the other food not the best very nice place elegant except I'm a national touring comedian Boomarang I had My Family from Atlanta it was 11 of us money is not no problem when you got to have good food at an elegant place I have all around the world this is not the one we was very unhappy and put on please on the food and the price. and I will not be coming back to this restaurant Thank You
Reply, this is to the "CONCERNED OWNER" I gave my explanation and experience per your request in an email directly to you. You wanted my name, address and phone number and I complied over two different emails with my personal information that I really didn't want to give 58 days ago... After finally giving my phone number I followed up asking what happened? I never heard from anyone not a word over three emails except for demanding information from me that I gave. I didn't need anything from this business beyond an apology. The attitude and communication with them is the same as the service we received when we went on Mothers Day 58 days ago. McDonalds fast food... ORIGINAL REVIEW: Over 2 and 1/2 hours after we ordered before we were served. It was mother's Day. If management thinks this is the kind of service and staffing to have on hand for mother's Day that we paid almost $1000 for. They should be replaced immediately. One steak was ordered medium? It was very rare. My steak was ordered rare and it was very overcooked. The salmon was cold and floating in butter. Today was a complete fail for Del Frisco's Grille and I will not be going back again for McDonald's level of service.
I came in to celebrate a special occasion with a larger group. The evening started off fine, but there were a few issues that ultimately left us very disappointed. One of my friend’s burgers arrived with a hair in it, so it had to be sent back. That part wasn’t a huge deal. What became frustrating was later in the evening when we asked for our leftover food to be packed to go. I had half of my filet mignon and my lobster mac and cheese left, and my partner also had leftover filet mignon and mashed potatoes. Because there was a lot going on, we didn’t realize until after leaving that we never received our packed food. Since this was not inexpensive food, we called the next day to see if something could be done. I spoke with a manager who told me the general manager would be calling me back, as it needed to be handled by him. I waited, but no one ever called. After two weeks with no response, it became less about the food and more about feeling completely unheard. I called again and spoke with another manager, who again said only the general manager could resolve the issue. I was confused as to why no manager on duty could take ownership and handle such a simple situation. I was assured once again that the general manager would call me back. Three weeks later, I still have not received a call. I was told he is often on vacation, but regardless, no follow up ever happened. This experience was extremely disappointing, not because of the food mistake, but because of the lack of accountability and communication. It felt like our concern simply didn’t matter. We truly didn’t want to make this a big issue, but being ignored entirely left a very bad impression.
Waited 20 min to be greeted while sitting at the bar. Only got half our meal and had to begin eating because nobody checked on us. ( we were sitting at the bar.). Sat with empty drinks most the meal and in the end we were charged for the wrong tab. The waitress let us know she had only had a doughnut all day and apologized for the mistakes. Looks like lack of proper management and reasonable care for there employees to be at there best to serve there customers. Will not return.
I ordered the fillet mignon - it was small and a subpar cut of meat. It had gristle in about three bites - I thought fillets were not supposed to have gristle. The side dishes were good though. Our waitress was very distracted and missed getting our drink order and walked away from our table before we could order all of our appetizers. Then she put the cutlery in the wrong spot - knives go on the right, not left, and forks go on the left, not right. The experience was marred by this and definitely not worth the expense.
