Chipotle

It was a rough start when it first opened. They have improved very much. I was in and out. They let me try the new chicken. Which is always nice to have a sample. I very much enjoy Chipotle.

I really enjoyed the food but this location always runs low on product. Today they did not have any grilled vegetables.

I really wanted to like this place since I've been to other Chipotle restaurants and loved their food. I like to give an establishment the benefit of doubt knowing that there are always unknown issues that factor in for any given day. So with that said, I've been to this restaurant about five times and every time the food preparation area has been a total mess. I watched them drag people's food across other food while they prepared your order. Just pure sloppiness. Half the staff let you know they don't want to be there serving you and that's just unacceptable. Thank God the cashier wasn't rude or the rating would be lower and at least the food tastes decent (if you can get past the way they handled preparing your food).

So I arrived at about 9:20 PM 3 to 4 employees grill is completely off. They are mopping and cleaning, which is not a problem because I know if you have time to do this side work and you’re not too busy go ahead and start but cutting a grill off over an hour and a half before closing is insane when you don’t have any brisket or any fajita blend on the table. while it was three ladies visible for me to see in them to see me when I walked in I was only greeted when the girl from the back came in, which is weird. I can’t say that the food was horrible, but the service and atmosphere and lack of food is a disgrace.

I have had really good food & some not so good food from this location. Employees are nice that I have dealt with. Have forgotten items on multiple orders so give your bag a check before leaving. I will say that whenever I have had an issue & reported it in the app I have gotten a replacement “reward” in app that I can use on a future order. So they try to make it right.

The food is alright, but they give you barely anything. The customer service is absolutely awful. I love Chipotle and I’ve been to dozens of them. This is by far the worst one. I’ve never seen such slow workers with such little motivation. I ordered a bowl the other day online and when I got it, it was like halfway full. I was absolutely robbed. Do better!

Food was amazing. Workers were friendly. It's pretty expensive. Two burritos and two sodas was over 30 dollars. Two sodas a small and large was $7. Food was much easier to eat at home on a plate with real silverware than in a basket with plastic silverware. Not the cleanest place.

Tiny quantities of protein the containers look massy. Does not make sense to pay that much money to eat rice and tomatoes.

The place was very dirty—the glass doors, floors, bathroom, food prep area. Rice was soggy and tasteless. Employees were friendly.

This specific chipotle is fiiiilthy. I have heard people locally mention this before when they first opened, but I had hoped it was just by chance or because they needed to get a handle on just opening and getting into the flow of things. But no, it's been quite some time, and it is still filthy. I went in around 11/1130 (i believe they open at 10, so I hadn't been open long yet), and every table was covered in food, the tables were clearly wiped down with a filthy rag prior to the food being on it as you could see heavy streaks and swirls on the table. The floor was a complete mess. This was disappointing as the food was great, but I will honestly say, if it weren't for my daughter wanting it so badly, I would have left - I was seriously worried about whether I would get food poisoning given the standards of cleanliness I was noticing! I did not get sick, which was lovely, but man do they need to get on top of the cleaning there, so sad.

Worst service ever one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever seen. I also asked a for a steak burrito with ledas and white rice (no cheese) she puts cheese on it and said I can remake it or you can get the burrito for free so I said get it for free and it said we had to pay for it on the receipt so I went back up there and said how come I am paying for this cause you said I wouldn't then she said I will just make you another one so she did still really nasty and 12 dollars for a burrito is way overpriced and one of the worst burritos ever in my life.

I ordered 3 soft steak tacos with the app. When I picked up my order and got back to my hotel it was a bowl with steak lettuce and sour cream. Not sure what is happening but when I went to pick up my food almost every table was filthy.

Worst experience ever. They can’t follow directions to serve the right order of food. I order a bowl. white rice; pinto beans Carne Asada (extra: double the meat) Barbacoa (extra; double the meat) -Corn -Guacamole. No cheese or sour cream. I received my food, which was not even near what I had ordered. Refer to the picture. How hard is it to put together one simple order without making mistakes? Every other chipotle restaurant I have gotten food from in the past does your food with no mistake. Third time with another screw-up order, and it happened just at this location in Dixon. Give the staff better training. Just opened and will be losing all loyal customers because of all these stupid mistakes.

I ordered a Carne Asada bowl for $14 and they just put half a scoop of meat on it's all rice and beans. Don't waste money here.

The last few times I've been there all the tables are dirty the floor is sticky and my meat that I ordered is cold or dry and The tortillas have a nasty taste too them.

This was without a doubt the dirtiest place I ever walked into. Every surface was covered in filth. The 21$$ yes 21$ bowl proved to be inedible. When we walked in there was one other customer...a family with kids. I certainly hope the kids didn't get as ill as I got just after a few Additionally I reported the filth to the Lee Co. Health department. I hope they respond.

Friday night at 8pm I show up to order 4 meals and the place is just gross. There is no food in any of the pans. Employees were walking in from smoking or something. The one guy making some lady's burrito was scraping Anything he could to just get her thing filled. I walked out and took my money to las palmas. This place will close soon unless corporate steps in and it won't be because people didn't try to eat here it will be because there is no leadership or effort from management. All the employees seem like they hate working there, I feel bad for them. 16 year old kids would probably be better.

Worst Chipotle in the US like seriously, Online order said ready by :07 but then had to wait 40 extra minutes inside the store before picking up the food, thankfully checked the bags and was missing full bag of chips and guac. After eating half the bowl i found a piece of plastic inside.

Walked in to get lunch. Started to get a bowl. Tiniest portion of rice and beans I have ever seen. Moved down to the meats and there was barely an left of anything. What was left was try and gross. The guy said they had more in the back but then just stood there like a complete moron. I said I'm not trying to be rude but all this meat looks dey and gross. He literally said and I quote it's because we just had a rush. And.... What does that have to do with the quality of the meat that is available????? Walked out. Absolutely horrendous service and quality.

I ordered the Chicken Al Pastor. The bin was empty, the first server said “We’re out”. The second server told her to go look at the drive through line. She returned telling me there was more on the other line…..what would I like? I responded Chicken Al Pastor. So she took my bowl with rice and black beans over to the other line and added the chicken and returned to complete it with other toppings. I added guacamole, knowing it would cost more. By the time I ordered my $3.00 soda, it was over $15.00. The chicken was very over cooked. The drink station was a MESS. I had to ask for a spoon, since the container was empty. The server gave me a spoon, never bothering to take more to the station. The floor and tables had not been cleaned. There were many tables that had not been wiped down. My husband used the bathroom, and he said two of three toilet paper rolls were empty. The bathroom was a mess, and either someone missed, or there was a leak, as the floor was wet (not in a good way). The staff seemed to be untrained, and lacking in all categories of service, sanitation, cooking. We spent over $33.00 for a burrito, and a bowl with two drinks. We won’t be going back.

This is the 4th time to this location and the SAME issues…No proteins! When I say no proteins they are always out…this time the server literally scraped to bottom of the container to compliment the 3 piece of asada…never again!

I was a customer and have two complaints. One time I was there and watched an employee drop food on the floor..some kind of meat. I was in the store eating and overheard the manger to rinse it off and serve it. On the same day while I was being served I watched a manager scream at her employee while she was serving me all on the same day. How they pass health inspection codes is beyond me. It's dirty everywhere. The tables are never wiped down. The floor is filthy full of food from the previous customers. I will never eat there again. My suggestion is to everyone, don't eat at the Dixon location. Staff is rude and the "managers" are even worse. That explains the staffing at their store

Foods always cold and is on the brink of causing food poisoning. Also whoever the lady is on till needs to go, shes so slow my tacos went cold before she could even ring up my order. Wouldn't recommend this location.

I’ve been here twice the experience was the exact same both times. I stood at the counter to order for 6 minutes while at least three people walked by and made eye contact with me without a single word. The food was gross and the restaurant was gross. I’m not sure in all the time this locations been open that they’ve cleaned the fountain drink spigots because my drink tasted like straight up mildew/moldy. This location is going to get everyone sick. Steer clear!

I eat chipotle regular about once a WK never had issues. But ate here and had bad diarrhea for a couple of days.

Why is the bowl even the size it is if you’re going to give me 1/4 of what it holds? Wild. The little food I did get? Wasn’t good. Meat is chewy and everything is cold. Yikes.

They put such a tiny amount of food in my bowl it was almost laughable – like they were serving samples instead of a meal. For the outrageous prices they charge, the portions were insulting. The food itself was bland and cold, and the ingredients tasted like they’d been sitting out all day. The staff couldn’t care less, acting annoyed just for having to take an order, and the whole place looked filthy with dirty tables and trash everywhere. To top it off, they still managed to mess up my order. Chipotle used to be decent, but now it’s a complete disaster. Total waste of money and time. Avoid this place at all costs!

Worst Chipotle Ive been to. They are always running behind. I have had to cancel my order every time I have tried using the website to order. Its never done and they cant give an estimate. The staff are rude. I would give negative stars if I could.

Always out of proteins, rice not fully cooked leaving hard kernels in every bite, I've never seen the tables and counters clean, sloppy unclean conditions. This is by far the worst Chipotle I've ever eaten at. Used to love Chipotle, but this Dixon location has turned me off it.

This chipotle is a joke, they are always out of everything food is always cold/ rice is hard and I have never seen one staff member smile they are all grown miserable men in hair nets who put practically two specks of rice in your bowl and then complain if u ask for more . would not recommend, the Peru Chipotle is much nicer and staff is super friendly!

I don’t know why I thought it would be any better in Dixon, Illinois, when it’s been consistently bad everywhere I’ve tried it—Texas, Idaho, Utah. All the same story. End of shift vibes, so I half-expected to see sad food sitting under the glass, slowly giving up on life—and it did not disappoint. I even told myself don’t get the burrito. Nobody there knows how to wrap one to save their lives. It always comes out looking like a dirty diaper stuffed with ingredients that have lost all sense of purpose. Sure enough, nothing on the burrito was consistent—especially the “little” sour cream, which somehow translated to about half a cup dumped straight down the middle. And then, the grand finale: the aggressive mashing of all the outer edges into a tight, round ball that in no way resembles a burrito. Just a compact sphere of regret. Why does that bother me so much? I don’t know—but it does. Oh, and don’t forget the $18 price tag for this masterpiece. Just like every other time, I ended up unwrapping it completely and eating it with a fork, because a burrito shaped like a softball simply doesn’t work for me.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. From the moment I walked in, it seemed like the staff lacked professionalism and basic customer service. The employees appeared unmotivated and uninterested in helping customers. The food preparation area did not look clean, and that immediately raised concerns for me. Cleanliness and hygiene should be a top priority in any restaurant, and unfortunately, this location did not give that impression. The overall atmosphere felt disorganized and poorly managed. This place seriously needs better supervision and higher standards. I will not be returning to this location.
