This was SUCH a wonderful ending to a day of hiking!! The service was great, and FAST, they opened a game room for us when they didn’t have too and the salad bar and pizza - chefs kiss!

We had a good experience here tonight. Not a fancy place, but nice to have another dining option at Tenaya. Yes, a few more signs to get there would help, but we just asked others. We enjoyed the 12” pizzas, my wife and I could have split one. The salad bar was solid. They have some decent wines. There is a nice game room with pool, air hockey, shuffleboard, a video game, and board games.

We showed up around an hour before closing. Thank goodness they were still open because 4 hours on the road to get to Yosemite got the wife and I very hungry and all we wanted to do was grab a pizza and check into our cottage here at Tenaya. We went with the 16inch Tiberloft special and two salads from the salad bar and a beer(Mammoth brewing pale ale)of which came out to around 73 dollars. A bit pricey but considering they're the only pizzeria in town and so conveniently close to the resort, well worth it. Pizza was great! Not greasy and made with very good quality cheese and toppings. The crust was good, Salad bar was pretty standard fare but the potato salad was excellent! All in all the wife and I agreed that it was pretty damn good! We will certainly be back.

The pizza was solid, the staff was friendly and attentive. I would stay clear of the pasta though, looked like it was in a frozen food container.

Pizza was mid, but I am giving 5 stars since it is not easy to have pizzas near Yosemite and to support the local business

My party of 15 came to this pizza place after a day of sledding nearby. Although the staff looked overwhelmed, we were accommodated right away... we ordered two of the 16-inch Timberloft Special, The Quattro, and the Sicilian, and drinks. All pizzas came out fast and piping hot... all the pizzas were fully-loaded and tasted great. Everyone was happy.

Staff were friendly and service was fast. Atmosphere was great and super clean. Ordered the Timberloft combo pizza and it hit the spot. Would be a repeat customer for sure!

Took a to go order. Large pizza with pepperoni and olives. Pizza was pretty solid, service was quick. Price was a little expensive but its yosemite so about what I would expect.

Perfect little pizza joint for thr family after a day of hiking. The salad bar was fresh with a good variety and the kids love their pizza. Service was quick also.

The 3.6 for this place is undeserved. We went on Memorial day, late evening. The pizza was fresh (not burnt like some of the recent comments mentioned) and while waiting for our takeaway we also saw other tables get their food and it all looked really good. Very generous toppings and reasonable prices too. We loved the pizza we got and will definitely visit again when we're on that side of the valley

We booked our stay at Tenaya Cottages and decided to tryout this place which is located inside the cottage area. Upon checking in the hotel, We ordered to go! Service was pretty quick. You call Tenaya and ask to connect to Timberloft and would transfer your call. We ordered the wings, cauliflower bites and Sicilian Pizza. Everything tasted good and fresh and packed neatly. It might seem a bit pricey, but after a long day at Yosemite, having this option at our doorstop was favorable. I would visit again.

We had a great experience at Timberloft Pizzeria! We ordered the Sicilian pizza, garlic bread, Mozzarella sticks, and the salad bar — everything came out fresh, tasty, and hit the spot after a long day. The Sicilian was especially hearty and flavorful, and the salad bar had a nice variety to round out the meal. What really made the evening stand out was our server, Lori. She was absolutely lovely — attentive, caring, and made us feel so welcome the entire time. It’s rare to have service that genuine and warm, and it really elevated our visit. If you’re staying at Tenaya or passing through Fish Camp, this is definitely a great spot for a casual, satisfying meal. And we have leftovers… who doesn’t like breakfast pizza! ;)

Food was really good! I had been hearing mixed reviews so we weren't even sure about trying it. But we were really satisfied with the food. Service was good and fast also. The only complaint is we ordered 12 wings and when we got back to our cabin and opened the container there was only 7. But the food was very delicious.

Ordered a pizza while staying at the Tenaya Lodge. I'll admit, when I placed the order, the price had some sticker shock ($28 for a large pepperoni). However, the pizza was absolutely phenomenal, and a good size. It could probably feed a family of 4 (12 slices, pretty good sized).

Parking is at the bottom of the restaurant. Entrance is at the top so you have to walk up the road. If you’re staying at the Tenaya lodge they can shuttle you there. If you have your own car it’s faster to drive yourself. There’s not much service here. You basically seat yourself and grab your own menu. There are 4 preset house special pizzas and if you don’t like those choices you build your own. But the prices doesn’t make sense. The 16” Timberloft Special with 8 ingredients of which 2 are olives and green onions. I’ve never seen a pizza with green onions on it. What “genius” came up with that? This is a $30 pizza. A 16”building your own pizza is $23 with each ingredient costing $3 each. If you add 2 ingredients at $6 then you’re at $29. Get the picture? You’re better off ordering the Timberloft and swapping out the ingredients you don’t like to keep it at $30. That’s what I did. Another thing about the pizza specials is that the other 3 pizzas list mozzarella as an ingredient except for the Timberloft. When the Timberloft showed up luckily mozzarella was on there. So who lists a pizza with mozzarella? Isn’t it a given that pizza comes with cheese as a minimum? I also ordered the Sicilian and swapped the olives with jalapeño. Both pizzas arrived lukewarm which was confusing because it came out fast. The crust was crispy and appeared cooked. The toppings didn’t have the seared look I’m used to seeing so I don’t know if they precooked the crust and then threw the toppings on or the toppings were cold to start with and didn’t cook all the way through. Either way the pizzas looked great but tasted lame because the sauce, cheese and toppings weren’t hot. I also ordered a salad bar plate. After given the plate I notice the romaine lettuce tray was empty. I asked them to refill it and they said they ran out off romaine lettuce Don’t you think that would be a pertinent piece of information before a customer orders the salad bar? It’s like going to eat at a steak house and you find out they ran out of rib eyes. This is the reason I despise restaurants that have you order and tip at the counter before you receive your food. What’s is there to tip when all you do is just take the order and serve the food once?

I’ve been to this pizza joint a number of times when visiting Tenaya Lodge. It’s always been solid, however, this past visit was pretty rough. Their prices have gotten really high and quality of pizza has gone down. Fountain drinks were $5 each. Seems a little high, but ok, except their fountain machine was down, so we were given cans instead. $20 for 4 cans of soda. Salad bar was one trip and it was $15! It was the equivalent of a salad bar at Round Table Pizza. Nothing special. Then comes the pizza. It was served to us burnt. The cheese was very toasty, which is good in some cases, but the crust was burnt and so was the crust. It was rough. (See pics). I figured it was going to be scalding hot, but instead it was already cold. I don’t know what was going on, but I don’t think I’ll be eating here the next time I come to Tenaya.

The staff working the night we visited (7/16/25) were friendly and welcoming. No issues with the service but the food quality is horrible. Tenaya’s website describes the pizza at Timberloft as “artisanal”. It is absolutely not. There is nothing artisanal happening at this pizzeria. It’s not wood fired, it’s not fresh dough, the toppings and crust both present and taste as cheap / poor quality with the crust being truly horrible. The pizza is cooked in a fast food type pizza conveyer oven. Saying it tastes like cardboard would be a compliment. Like other reviews we were perplexed when our meat toppings were cooked but our vegetable toppings were still cold - the mushrooms were still raw and cold. The garlic ciabatta is also odd. It’s a multigrain seeded bread and completely lacked any cheesy garlic goodness. Tenaya could make this place actually be the artisan quality they advertised but unfortunately they’ve chosen to serve the cheapest quality because they know people will still keep buying since there are literally no other options. I deeply regret eating here and should have read the reviews that go back for years saying this place is terrible. If they cared about people’s reviews and cared about quality then they would have already improved their pizza because literally it’s been years now that people have been leaving bad reviews for this place. Take my advice and avoid Timberloft by any means necessary.

I’m sharing my personal experience in hopes it helps other customers. Unfortunately, my visit here was very disappointing. We even left Yosemite early and skipped Curry Village Pizza Deck to come here, and that ended up being a mistake for us—Curry Village pizza has always been much better in our experience. I was told my order would take about 35–45 minutes, then was notified it would be another 10 minutes. When I arrived, I ended up waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes. During that time, I watched several customers who arrived after us dine in, finish their meals, and leave, while we were still waiting. When the order finally came out, it was incorrect.Despite being the second-to-last clients, our order was still incorrect-sure, what a coincidence! And the pizza even had unusually elaborate toppings… maybe just a coincidence that they are the staff member’s favorites, so she could “take it home for herself,” right? When I requested a refund, I was told there was no way to provide proof or confirmation of it, which was uncomfortable from a customer standpoint. The only attempt to address the situation was offering two free water cups, which didn’t come close to making up for the long wait or the incorrect order. Based on what I experienced, the customer service felt extremely poor. Because of all this, I personally won’t be returning. For anyone looking for pizza in the area, Curry Village Pizza Deck has consistently been better for me, and Round Table in Oakhurst has always been delicious. At this point, I’d choose pretty much anywhere else before coming back.

If you’re looking for pizza nearby, Curry Village Pizza Deck or Round Table in Oakhurst are much better options - definitely not like this place. After this experience, we’d honestly choose almost anywhere else. I was there with my friend during this visit, and it was honestly a hot mess from start to finish. They were told their order would take about 35–45 minutes, then later were told it would take even longer. When we arrived, they ended up waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes. I actually sat down, ate my entire meal, and left the restaurant… and they still hadn’t been served. That’s how long it took. During that time, we watched multiple customers who arrived after us get seated, eat, and leave while my friend was still waiting. It was unbelievable. ALMOST 2 HOURS FOR 1 PIZZA????!!!! When the order finally came out, it was wrong. The pizza had all these toppings they didn’t order. Close to closing time, it kind of felt like someone had made themselves a fancy end-of-shift pizza… at least, that’s how it looked to me. My friend had only ordered jalapeños, sausage, and pepperoni, and the employee also wasn’t apologetic whatsoever. When my friend asked for a refund, they were told there was no way to provide any confirmation or proof of it, which felt unprofessional. The only attempt to make up for everything was offering two water cups - not nearly enough after nearly two hours of waiting and receiving the wrong pizza. Based on what I witnessed, the customer service was extremely poor. Because of this, we will never step foot in this place again-not even if someone offered it for free. The service, the wait, and the wrong, over-topped pizza made it a complete disaster. Honestly, there are many better pizza options nearby.

Somebody at my hotel said this place was world renowned it was but for all the wrong reasons. It tasted like cardboard with some cheese on top. I would rather have eaten dog food than eat this. The only positive thing here was how fast the food came but i would have rather starved then eat that pizza again. Please for your own taste buds DO NOT eat this pizza.
