Great coffee! Their Fall out boy drink is amazing!! Pastries are great too!
The ambiance is really nice. Lot of foot traffic and patrons enjoying coffee and food. Found the americano coffee a little strong for my taste but the banana bread was nice. Prices a little higher compared to Starbucks. Saw lot of cold drinks as well on the menu which looked good.
I might be a little biased because I love Gregorys Coffee as a chain, but I'm delighted they opened a location here. The coffee actually tastes like coffee (which is to say: amazing for this coffee lover), the treats aren't massive sugar overloads, and the atmosphere is chill, even at its most crowded. Not to mention, the baristas are sweet and helpful, and the service is speedy and friendly. It's not that far from the subway either, so it's all in all worth it if you're looking for a quick but excellent cup. (P.S. Try the Fall Oat Boy!)
Far better than Starbucks. Not only the coffee, but snacks like Vegan Croissants and Blueberry Muffins - that taste homemade. Recommend adding an extra shot of espresso to truly appreciate their coffee quality.
Very disappointed in where this Forest Hills location display the decaf coffee beans for sale. They sit on a shelve at the entrance as you enter the store WITH THE SUN BLASTING ON THEM ALL DAY.. I will not go back there to purchase coffee beans until they understand the importance of keeping coffee beans away from sunlight to maintain its freshness. Decaf beans are already compromised on arrival due to processing - and to have it sit in the sun is definitely not helping.. I have offered my feedback to the store multiple times and hope they will fix this ASAP. I expect better from Gregory who claim to do coffee differently. They are $17 for a small bag - certainly not the cheapest around - so it should deliver freshness. I may as well go to Marshall’s and get an almost stale bag of beans for $7.99.. Sorry… I just need to get what I am paying for….
Thought I’d try butter pecan and the G house blend. Delightful. And the staffer accommodated my request to use my flask to cut down on packaging.
My fav coffee spot, always get either the salted caramel cold brew or Pumpkin spice latte. Service is great and quick.
Everything was perfect for my pickup order. I got the $3 vegan breakfast deal and a pumpkin spice latte. All perfection! Forest Hills location had awesome staff.
Good place to work/study. Coffee and pastries were really delicious and affordable. Wifi is pretty strong. Music is enough and not too loud as well.
It was a chill Friday morning. Stopped here after a doctor visit. Being a Gregular, I opted to stop for a latte and a chocolate croissant while waiting for my train. Super convenient location between the subway and the LIRR. Love the vibe of this Forest Hills location. The staff is nice and friendly. They even put a little pumpkin on my latte!
The café was spacious, clean, and very welcoming. The coffee was great, and the unexpected jack-o'-lantern latte art, even in spring, added a fun and whimsical touch.
Walked into a friendly environment. Store was filled with decorations and the staff was really nice when taking orders. I wasn’t sure what to get but the person taking my order helped me out. Coffee was great and even got some latte art!
Coffee always delicious. Beautiful service as well, especially thanks for barista Maya & Keny always making me great extra hot latte.
Had a great experience. Enjoying their blend of coffees. They had a great choice of edibles and choices of different coffees. Definitely not the regular coffee houses and puts a twist on what everyone is used to.
Great addition to the neighborhood. The wasn’t really any good coffee places in the area until they opened up. Super friendly team and lots of different options including vegan and gluten-free. They also roast their own coffee here in Queens NYC. Their espresso is always on point!!
I’m usually “that” picky client, but not this time. I work in Austin street and literally have tried every single cafeteria out there. Trust me, it’s really hard to find a good coffee this days. I’m so happy to finally discover such a lovely place like Gregorys Coffee! When it comes to me and coffee, it’s never about appearance or service (which is always satisfying btw). It’s about how perfect their coffee tastes. I’m fond of latte, so I always order latte (hot or cold) with strawberry syrup. But it doesn’t matter which coffee do you order, you will experience a true taste of good quality beans that can’t be hidden by any milk or syrup. It’s very rear to good things come out from me tbh, so I’m impressed.
Went to Gregory's this morning for a new cafe experience and was pleasantly greeted by wonderful service. I tried out a new drink called Nu Love, and I think its become my "new love" lol. Place is very relaxing and a nice space to work. Cookies here are also so good please try them.

I’m a regular at Gregory’s Coffee, and the service is always excellent everyone is genuinely kind and treats customers with care. However, on two occasions, I witnessed a customer aggressively argue with two regulars and constantly shout and fight on the phone, making malicious comments, which disrupts the experience for those just trying to relax. It would be great if the staff addressed this issue so everyone can enjoy the space. Nevertheless, I still highly recommend the coffee and the outstanding service.

I had a 5 start on it 5 months ago. But there's a young lady who makes my drink like she doesn't care most of the times. And because of that, my drink doesn't taste or look like it should. Overall, it's a hit-and-miss, depending on who makes the order. But the staff are super sweethearts ♡, and service is good ☆.
This was my first time here, I ordered the blueberry chai refresher. I loved it. It was not sweet and had actual blueberries that were fresh. Didn't order any food. The drink came out fast. My only complaint was the young lady was on her phone in front of me before I was ordering. I don't think that's okay to do.
Edit: they’ve really stepped up on delivery orders, I’ve had none of the same issues! I love their coffee, but DO NOT order delivery from here. I cannot believe how often items are missing. I should’ve learned my lesson by now, given that we have had to go to the store so often because a number of our items for our delivery are just on the counter. At this point whenever I order I never know if I’ll actually get the complete order. But I’m done with ordering delivery from here, not worth it to end up having to go back to the store to get my item. Their app also makes it impossible to ask for a refund for missing items. Please do better in ensuring all items are included in an order.
Low key coffee shop in a highly transited area. There always seems to be seating which is nice. The staff are nice, the music is good and low enough to chat, and the selection of goods is plenty. I took off one star for the price. There’s a Dunkin and a Starbucks across the cross streets which are more affordable, but if prices don’t bother you, then I recommend it fully. I spent a little over $30 for a mocha, an almond milk, and 4 pastries (chocolate croissant, rainbow cookie, blueberry muffin, and banana walnut pound cake).
Love that there a different coffee shop in forest hills other than Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Gregory Coffee shop offers a variety of drinks and flavors. I enjoyed their drinks very much as they are different and delicious. The atmosphere is fun and I enjoy grabbing a coffee break from time to time. Drinks are pricey but i think of it as a treat.

I love Gregory coffees Matcha drinks. It taste very high-quality in the service is usually great. It just gets busy sometimes especially being near the train station but other than that I always had a good experience and if I had any other problems, someone was always ready to help.

I have tried this place several times to make sure that it was not a one off day for the staff. However, it is the same experience I receive. It feels chaotic at the counter. I think because they have to handle so many take out orders. The front staff's customer service response is short and curt. It would be nice to see a smile 😄. I have had better service at Gregory's at midtown which also can be busy. Again it may be related to quick turn around atmosphere causing this. You are not sure if they listened to you speaking as they are looking down on the computer with no eye contact in between. You are hesitant to confirm. Also the counter space where you pick up the drink is crowded. The pre-orders and pick up is in the same space. It would be best that they placed the covers on the coffee rather than crowd the counter.
Very convenient location for a quick coffee grab. Great to see some competition to ⭐️☕️ in the neighborhood for a major coffee franchise chain. They had a lot of offering to their menu, from coffee to vegan sandwiches. Have been told by people that the quality of coffee is better here than the other place. During this visit, we had BETTER HALF WITH HIBISCUS ELDERBERRY and BETTER HALF WITH BLACK ICED TEA. Was a bit disappointed in the drinks as they weren’t even that cold and didn’t look like the picture on the menu. Had to wait for the ice to cool the drink and when it did, it was only for a brief moment, as the ice disappeared pretty quickly. Looked as though the staff were pretty new and needed some time to learn the ropes. I’m confident that they’ll get better in no time. Looking forward to trying out other items when the staff get better caught up in the ways of doing things.

Great relaxing atmosphere. Per the food, don’t think about it. It’s inedible, warmed up frozen breakfast sandwiches. I admit that it was not a smart idea to buy a sandwich here but I was not sound in judgment due to hunger and wanting a quick bite. All my friends love the coffee here and my husband loves their cookies. The breakfast sandwich was hard to eat and was worse food selection for me personally. I definitely do not recommend it. I tried not to complain, I showed them the eaten sandwich where I ate few bites from the middle. The corners of the bread were hard and inedible. They didn’t show any interest of trying to make things right. I threw it out and left. Please don’t purchase breakfast food from here if you want to enjoy it. Oh and it’s $6.50 wasted and I’m still hungry.
Wanted to try something different, so my friend and I decided to try Gregorys. I walked in, I said good morning, no response. Walked to the register said good morning again no response. Was placing my order and the gentleman on register walked away, didn't let me know who was going to help me. The other two girls walked to the register and I ordered again and they did not know who was taking my order. For the food customer service industry, and for the price of these drinks, they do need to be trained better on that. Like even a "hello welcome" would do. Anyways, that's my take on this place.
This location is never a feel good experience. I gave an extra star because the matcha was decent. It seems every time I come here staff is angry and resentful and ignores me standing there. This morning while it’s true they were busy with mobile orders, it’s nice to get a nod or be acknowledged that you are politely and patiently waiting for their attention. I waited about 7 minutes. No eye contact, or “I’ll be right with you”. A lady walked in, walks to the counter and conveniently the barista is done and saunters over. Oh how efficiently! “Hi, what can I get you? “ he says to the new customer. I politely intervened to let him know Ive been there a while and he takes my order at long last. Frustrating bad attitude and disrespect. It seems other reviewers have also mentioned this discriminating behavior. Gregory’s may want to implement some better customer service training at this location. I love very close but I’ll avoid this place in future.
This cafe is near my job so it's my usual "last minute spot". i usually get the iced matcha but it taste like straight milk, even the color is the lightest shade of green ive ever seen... i even asked for extra matcha and they didn't bother to put extra. I love matcha but not from here- wouldn't recommend.
I really enjoy the coffee here, but I’ve noticed a recurring issue with how orders are handled. Every time I come in, the staff seems to forget to make my coffee in the order they receive it. Even when I’m first in line, several people who ordered after me often get their drinks before me, and I end up waiting longer than necessary. It would be great if the orders could be made in the proper sequence to ensure a more efficient and fair service
I came in for a matcha and to use the bathroom because I had 9 minutes to kill while I waited for the bus to come. I ordered my matcha, paid in cash, and asked for the bathroom code. Had to wait a bit for the bathroom so I figured I’d be able to grab my change and drink from the barista when I got out and then head to the bus, I’ve worked in plenty of coffee shops and grab and go places and it’s what’s implied, I’ve done it for tons of customers and I’ve had it done for myself plenty of times as well. If I spent 8 minutes waiting and using the bathroom then it’s fair to assume my order would be ready once I came out especially when I handed $20 cash for a $7 drink cause I needed to use the bathroom badly. If the barista is new then totally fine but it’s implied and expected that if a customer orders AND pays then goes to the bathroom they just might be expecting their order to be ready when they get out. Didn’t even get the drink cause when I came out of the bathroom the barista handed me my change and THEN started making the drink, at that point my bus was already there so I told her that I assumed the drink would’ve been made while I was in the bathroom and I had to rush out to get the bus. Do better.
I never give low star review on any place I’ve been to but I couldn’t help it to write… It was my second visit at this location hoping it would improve than last time. It is very different than Gregory coffee shops I visited in the city. It operates very differently and the vibe too. You know when you are in Manhattan locations, you can tell baristas are experienced.. but here I’m not so sure they know how to make their drinks. Maybe the place just opened and workers are new / still getting used to the menu. However, it’s still business where you pay money for good coffee/ drink and food …and you have to be professional and be ready when you open the business and train barista well enough to not look so clumsy. I ordered one drink and a muffin - cost $16+ dollars and you expect to be good. I was sadly disappointed. The person who made my drink was very new and was asking all kinds of questions to coworkers and it took over 10-15 mins to even start making it. Of course as a customer you start feeling uneasy… Whether to cancel your order or just kept waiting.. For the money you pay, you expect better service and food/ drink. The drink was not good at all ( and didn’t look anything like photo they advertise on their menu ) and muffin tasted stale and old. At least the set up interior looks nice..

Drinks are accurate 40% of the time specifically salted caramel cold brew, other locations like Roosevelt field the drinks are always made correctly. I just signed up for rewards, twice now I have been unable to utilize rewards since the cashiers are not knowledgeable on redeeming reward points.

The first time we ordered, my drinks didn't arrive. When we called, there was no direct service available; they instructed us to text instead. We sent a message but never received a response. The next day, we ordered again and got the iced Love Affair drinks, which didn’t even look pink—they were brown and tasted terrible. I really wouldn’t recommend getting anything from them; their service is awful, and I still haven’t received my money back.
I ordered a matcha and this was plain milk. I asked for cold foam and sweetener. Nothing was added. I also ordered one of there juices and it taste old. I always have an issue when ordering from here.
Got smoothie and matcha latte. They forgot my smoothie, didn’t give straw for my latte. And latte tastes like straight milk, no matcha flavor at all. Don’t come here.
I live in Forest Hills and decided to stop in here for a second time after work as I hadn't been in a while to try there coffee cake and banana loaf. The mistreatment I experienced this evening as I am brown and this person was a different race was truly awful, it was very discriminating and came off very racist. There wasn't a line and I came in and stood at the counter waiting for the female behind the counter to come over and assist she literally glimpsed at me then continued cleaning the coffee station then she walked to the other side to grab something and completely acted like I wasn't there, I just kept standing there like an idiot while she comfortably ignored me. I literally had to lean over the counter a bit to try to get her attention and said excuse me which she first ignored then I said it again is anyone going to assist me, then she finally came over and just said what can I get you. The only thought was nothing after such ugly service that does not deserve a penny from me. Truly horrible and I will not return.
I really wanted to like this place since I live in the neighborhood, but my experience was very disappointing. I stood in line waiting, when another customer cut in front of me. Instead of addressing it fairly, the cashier told me the line “starts from the other side” and was rude and standoffish throughout the interaction. It matched what I’ve read in other reviews. Poor customer service and no regard for customers who are waiting their turn. Sadly, I won’t be returning.
I was just at the Gregory’s coffee on 1273 1 st Avenue ny location at 7:30 am this morning and I ordered a fall out boy latte and was met with so much indifference and then my latte was made full of coffee grinds like I could not even drink had to throw it out .. horrible experience will never go back
One of the most strange and frustrating situations I have dealed with at a coffee shop. ( have never rated a coffee shop until now). I have asked the person (cashier) that I would like an espresso with plenty of milk (which I was charged for). While I was waiting for my coffee the barista prepared for me an espresso with a tiny splash of milk while the milk that she heat it up discarded it in in the sink. I clarified to the person that I payed for the milk and she said laughing at me and saying that well if u want milk i have to charge you for it. Based on her statement I asked the barista why she would threw the rest of the milk when I told the colleague I want ,,plenty’’ of milk. It is outrageous the poor customer service. (I have coffee here every afternoon and this person’s coworkers at that time they are very friendly and know what they are doing. They are well trained . I will never come here again to deal with this kind of strange situations in the mornings to avoid this kind of embarrassment. I have worked in hospitality/customer service for many years and employees like these have to be properly trained. It is not just about making a coffee it is making the customers feel welcomed. Reading some of the reviews this is a problem that occurs pretty often. It’s outrageous this kind of behaviour.
First time at Gregory’s on a Sunday morning and I decided to try the Blue Steel, which they advertise as an energy drink with Blue Spirulina, lime, and mint. Unfortunately, the drink I received was nothing like that description. The staff only mixed what looked like lemonade with Spindrift sparkling water—no blue spirulina, no mint, nothing close to what was promised and this drink costs me $8! When I asked why my drink didn’t look blue like the menu photo, the staff member told me, “It is blue,” and walked away. My drink was clearly not blue, and even my friends agreed it looked nothing like what was advertised. On top of that, the staff were unfriendly and completely uninterested in helping—especially the cashier. Overall: disappointing drink and even worse customer service. Definitely not coming back.
The sandwich was called the deluxe? I mean you decide whether that looks good or not. My mistake for ordering food here. I still ate it, but wasn’t happy doing it. The matcha was also mid.
Whoever Keny C….count your days. I ordered a banana breeze coffee with no ice and this is what was delivered to me.$8 for this sad excuse of a coffee. If you don’t care about your Uber eats patrons I can only imagine how you deal with your other patrons. Not one lick of banana. Just pure burnt water down coffee. Why are you still in business? Attached is apparently what their banana chai is suppose to be versus what was sent to me. Disgraceful
It's a disappointing experience at Gregorys Coffee Forest Hills. While the quality of the coffee and food may have met my expectations, it's clear that the service fell far short of providing a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. It's essential for any establishment to have attentive and courteous staff, and it's disheartening to experience that the service i received was less than satisfactory. Feeling disregarded and receiving impolite treatment can indeed tarnish an otherwise pleasant dining experience. Service is a vital component of any visit to a dining establishment, and it's crucial that guests feel valued and respected throughout their time at the restaurant. even the manager or supervisor not addressing the complaint in a caring or apologetic manner further underscores the importance of strong leadership and a commitment to addressing customer feedback in a respectful and proactive manner. When service falls short, how an establishment responds to feedback can make a significant impact on a guest's overall perception of the experience. In conclusion, while the coffee and food at Gregorys Coffee Forest Hills may have been enjoyable, the lack of attentive and polite service, as well as the concerning indifference towards customer feedback, undoubtedly detracted from the overall experience. It's my hope that the management at Gregorys Coffee Forest Hills takes your feedback to heart and works to address these shortcomings, ensuring that future guests are provided with the level of service they deserve.

Orders on seamless always missing items! Shop never contacts us to let us know when something is not available. Rude and deceptive to customers! Thankfully seamless customer service is able to issue refunds but the food is still not here.
