Go! Go! Curry!

Really large portions. The curry had a rich, meaty taste and was thicker than I expected. The rice was soft and really helped to balance everything.

This is my favorite restaurant in the world. Their katsu is also thicker and better than the locations at Hawaii and NYC. My one request is for them to slit and deep fry their sausages like the other locations. Thank you for coming to LA!!!!

The dark curry was SO good with the chicken katsu. And the friendly guy behind the counter even let us try the curry first to see if we liked it before ordering. Definitely coming back.

Food was good and curry was tasty, but out didn't taste unique in anyways besides having a darker color. The katsu, shrimp and egg was all great, though I'm not a fan of the sausage. All a bit overpriced but its still tasty, so if probably just prefer to try it in Japan. I did enjoy the small outdoor food court here.

They offer smaller portions as well as extra large portions for sharing. There are plenty of toppings to choose from but im guessing the cheese option is the most popular.

I finally came to see what the fuss is all about and i was not disappointed. The curry is really good. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely be back. They offer smaller portions as well as extra large portions for sharing. There are plenty of toppings to choose from but im guessing the cheese option is the most popular.

Tried both the pork and chicken katsu curry and both were solid, crispy cutlets, rich, thick Japanese-style curry, and very filling. Comfort food, no overthinking required. Portions are generous and it hits the spot when you need something warm and satisfying after shopping. Not fancy, but dependable and tasty.

Katsu and curry were good. Not enough curry with the regular rice amount. Just go to Kagura next door. Better portions, and you get miso soup, salad, and pickled veggies with your curry meal for pretty much the same price as here.

What didn't recommend it with a heavy thick gravy wish they would lighten up on the thickness of the gravy so that it would flow and not be so much like a paste. Wish them well but I would not order it again. Service was very quick, much appreciated that. They use Hi-Tech do notify the customer when the food is ready to be picked up. That's a nice touch. We're not so cold I think we would have preferred eating outside in the patio area. The air was much more refreshing out in the patio area.

I was heavily disappointed in this place… I used to eat at this place in New York. I ordered a gray with extra sauce. They barely gave me any extra sauce. I thought they were gonna give it to me separately, but they just poured it on on my curry plate. Too expensive and wait until you go to the NYC or the one in Japan :(

We ordered chicken katsu curry and some other kinds. Chicken katsu and sauce was OK but the rice was undercooked and hard in the middle we couldn’t eat it. You need to practice cooking rice much better than this. For Japanese people how well the rice is cooked is very important. If you continue serving rice like that, people won’t come back to your place. Wash and soak the rice before you cook and use proper amount of water and steam long enough. Check your rice to make sure it’s well done before you serve. I hope you’ll improve your cooking method.

The waitress never called out my order until I went up to ask, even though she was standing by idly. I got the extra large to share with my family. The pork was dry, and the curry tasted instant.
