The food was really delicious! Today was my first time eating here. I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen, Takoyaki, and Kara Miso Ramen. The pork was so tender and tasty — not chewy or smelly at all. The ramen was super delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly. I’ll definitely come back again because the price is really worth the great quality!

Went for lunch and dinner, both times were an incredible, fun experience with friends :) Staff are so hardworking and kind, they really take care of you! Service is prompt despite a busy crowd, everyone is so cheerful Tsukemen - Dipping ramen, would recommend if you like an intensely rich broth and thick, wavy noodles 24hr tonkatsu - Classic, thin and light noodles with a surprisingly refreshing broth Chashu portions are SO thick and soft! I really do think they have a bowl for any taste or preference, very worth the visit :)

Delicious ramen and very authentic to Fukuoka-style Hakata ramen. Affordable prices and great restaursnt ambience. Clean and friendly service!

I don’t eat red meat so I tried the veggie spicy ramen and I was actually able to add chicken and other items as well. I was surprised at how good the chicken was. Never had chicken like that before. I’m usually very picky about chicken in soup. I’m very sensitive to taste and texture. And this satisfied both. Thank you. The music was great too. It was Korean music. 🎶

Had a great first time coming here! We ordered the 24 hour tonkatsu and shoyu ramen, and both were delicious in their own ways. The tonkatsu had a rich but complex flavor, and the shoyu was light and flavorful. I will admit that I was apprehensive to try it because it’s pricey for ramen, however, compared to other ramen restaurants in town, Takashi’s is by far the best I’ve had in terms of ramen. I can see why the 24 hour tonkatsu ramen is their signature as the broth was much more flavorful than Nikka’s (just as a point of reference) and their pork belly is the best I’ve had. When dining in, it’s important to note that you order on the kiosk and the dine-in experience doesn’t have a traditional server system. However, we were warmly greeted by the owner’s husband and were constantly checked upon to make sure we had an enjoyable dining experience. Conclusion: Even though the pricing is more than other ramen places in the area, Takashi would still be my first choice!

I had an amazing experience at Takashi Ramen! From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff set the perfect mood. The broth was rich and flavorful, clearly simmered to perfection, and the noodles had just the right amount of chew. I tried the Shoyu Wonton ramen and it was one of the best I’ve ever had—deep, creamy, and packed with umami. The toppings were fresh and generously portioned, especially with the tender chashu pork. Service was fast and friendly, and the portions were very satisfying for the price. If you’re a ramen lover or just looking for a comforting, delicious meal, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Second time eating here and both ramen I got were bomb. I highly recommend the 24hr tonkostu Ramen and the spicy miso. Their beef bowl is also great. Also a very fun environment to sit in!

Fun Japan vibe, great food. I will definitely come back. We had the Chashu pork and rice bowl as well as a shoyu ramen and both both were exceptional

first time came here, got little bit confused with the order machine cuz it does have a lot food, dont know what to choose, then I chose the best seller which is the kara-miso. The food is good, I love the music in a japanese vibe. I like the place. Overall everything is good, excelent service too.

The ramen was very good and gave me the vibe of Japan. They were able to find a dish that works as I have a seafood allergy that I developed in the last three years. I used to eat everything no issues and sucks that it has kept me away from restaurants that I want to try. Having actually been to Japan it was nice to see things that you would find in Japan. I definitely recommend the food here. The broth here was way better than other places I have tried at other restaurants.

Had a great experience at Takashi Ramen in Goleta. Ordering from the kiosk was quick and easy, and the portions were just right—we left very satisfied. We tried two ramen bowls (shoyu and tonkotsu) along with takoyaki. The tonkotsu had rich flavor and perfectly cooked thin noodles, while the shoyu was milder with thick noodles that paired nicely with the broth. The takoyaki was delicious—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and loaded with toppings. Even though we arrived close to closing time, the food came out quickly and the service was great.

Currently living in Santa Maria, CA, but originally from LA. The ramen here is comparable to any of the top places in LA. The Tonkatsu was flavorful and the noodles were cooked well. The pork katsu was still good after an hour drive home.

I think this is a good one for what it is meant to be: A spot to get decent, convenient/fast, and comforting Japanese food. Will the ramen's flavor blow you away like, say, Nikka Ramen? No, but I feel like this place has a different appeal. It's very conveniently located to shopping and UCSB campus and has very good parking. It also has some nice "street food-esque" interior decor. My favorite part was the showy Japanese music they were playing in the background. Maybe it's just because the music was similar to the kind of stuff I listen to on Spotify, but I found the overall vibe charming/pleasant. The staff seemed very friendly to me, with the server kindly getting me a glass of water even when I didn't realize it was self-serve and right next to me until he did so. Got the curry ramen. Overall, I thought it was decent, more or less what I'd expect from a Japanese curry dish. The egg/pork could've been a little better and the noodles were probably a little too thick. But overall, it was still satisfying enough. So overall, it won't change your life, but I'll definitely be coming back to grab some lunch here every so often.

Takashi Ramen’s Tonkotsu Spicy Ramen was delicious with a perfect spice level, flavorful, and easy to enjoy. The kiosk ordering was convenient, and the restaurant has a nice vibe. Portions were a bit small for the price, but overall, great taste and experience.

Food was a mixed bag, I had ramen and a masaman curry. Music was too loud and it was made worse by echoing off the floor. The ramen was quite good I enjoyed it however my meat and eggs were cold in the center I had to soak them in the broth to warm them up. Noodles were a good texture and the broth was simple and flavored well without being overbearing. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the curry katsu the meat was not all one piece. Although they did a great job of presentation. It seemed like a bunch of end pieces from the chashu had been mashed together. I could see the grain of the meat was different directions and mostly dark tough bits. It seemed like very nice breading but unfortunately it was too oily. If I do go again it will be only for the ramen. The price was acceptable for the ramen but the curry seemed awfully high. The curry itself had a nice spice and a bit of coconut flavor.

Food was pretty good for the Santa Barbara area. Probably one of the better locations to dine in this area of Goleta. I bought the "old school" Tonkotsu Ramen. Usually what I ordered to get a feel of a ramen restaurant. Which I would say is decent. You can probably find better locations in Los Angeles and Torrance, although for where it is, I think it's a good place for a get together with friends.

**This review was posted from the soft opening on Feb. 28** I was fairly excited for this new ramen place in Goleta so I went for their soft opening. Staff is really amazing, super friendly, and their atmosphere was excellent. They have vending machine-style ordering and a pickup window. I unfortunately was not very impressed by the shoyu ramen. The price is quite high at ~$20 (additional $3 for an egg), although the portions were large. I felt like the broth was not quite hot enough and the center of the egg was still a bit cold. The broth was decent, but didn’t really have a ton of flavor. Pork was similar, tasty but average. The noodles tasted fresh and chewy, very good. Overall I wasn’t very impressed, but given it was the first day, I would be happy to come back and reassess in a few weeks/months.

I checked the menu beforehand and went in for Tonkatsu curry rice instead of ramen. But I didn't realize until after the dish came that they changed it to Massaman curry. Why the hell would I want a Thai style curry at a Japanese restaurant?? Especially at one that is posing to be authentic. so confusing. They have decorations saying "sushi" and bunch of other things they don't sell. For a self service casual restaurant most of the menu items are way overpriced, half of the appetizer cost $15 after tax and tip. I'm giving 3 stars because the Tonkatsu breading was done well. The vibe is good but if you're from Asia you can tell they're not authentic.

$30 for a bowl of ramen!!! And it was no better than a cup of noodles. The noodles were stuck together I tried heating up the broth and letting them soak and cook and nothing. A big ball of stuck noodles. The broth was no better than chicken soup. How they justify charging $30 for one bowl of ramen is ridiculous! I’m sorry I’m not trying to put anyone out of business I’m just being honest because this was a rip off!
