Never fails to satisfy. Great food all around at decent prices. And IMHO is better than Cane's. You got so many more choices at chicken express, and not one of them is a bad choice. Chicken, fish, sides, and beverages are all AWESOME! Thank you!
They ran out of chicken breasts so I opted to wait fifteen minutes for a fresh batch. My food was so hot it burned. If eating this way means I'll die of heart disease then I'll just have to opt for the fancy health insurance because I refuse to give up the juicy, crunchy satisfaction of Chicken Express.
This has not only been one of the greatest experiences I’ve had at chicken express but the food was just as great to be honest if I’m ever in this area I’ll drive the extra couple miles to go to this location. This had made my day great Thank you Chicken Express I truly appreciate the love and wonderful experience and honestly I believe this location and it’s manager should be recognized for there fabulous work.

The lunch crew 11AM to 2pm got the chicken game on lock. Well cook chicken and tenders , crispy, seasoned, fresh. You can smell the clean grease for those who know. Fresh hot rolls is a bread lover dream.
My food was fresh, staff was courteous and prompt service. I went inside, it was clean. I am a cooker (everyday), I like to cook my own food for my family but I often work late so sometimes I'll stop by this location. The few times I've stopped, very satisfied and fresh. Thank you, KayInspirer.net
It's chicken Express. Tenders were hot and tasted good as expected. I wasn't a fan of their new cream corn and should have stuck to their mashed potatoes.
The food is always hot and fresh. The taste is on point with greatness and the wait is never too long. Great service and the most hospitable manager. We visit here often whether dining in, sitting outside or take out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Poor customer service. I only ordered two family side and it took nearly 15 minutes to receive my order through the drive-through. (7 cars passed me by) I asked the cashier if I could receive a couple of rolls for having to wait so long he rolled his eyes and shook his head and close the window. Two minutes later another person gave me my food with no rolls. So I requested a refund probably won't be a customer anymore. 02/16/18*(New)Went there agin the other day and they took care of me. Favorite chicken in DFW hands down!!!! Always juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside and never greasy. They always feel the box to the top with chicken and sides - I always get two meals out of each box. Fried okra is the best side.
Grew up near one and never went. Just went for the first time after work for lunch. Ordered a 6 piece hot wing. I think they were the best hot wings I had in my life. So good that I went back for dinner 🤣. Drive through is kind of slow. But I don't mind waiting as long as the food is fresh. So good I think I'm going back for breakfast 🤣
Visited Chicken Express today {3/13/24 @ 5:44 p.m.} via the drive thru. As soon as I pulled up to the speaker, I was promptly greeted by the host/order taker Jimmy. He was upbeat, kind, and patient, because it took me a moment to place my order. I asked if they had any specials going on and he kindly named them off for me. I was highly impressed as he smoothly threw in the up-sales. I'm hoping that I am giving kudos and props to the right person because on my receipt shows Jimmy as the host. We need more people like Jimmy. Normally, when I go to other fast food restaurants and pulled up in the drive thru, the order takers will let you sit there for a few seconds before they take your order or some will greet you with "Order when you ready" Jimmy, keep up the excellent work! You rock!
I had to grab dinner out last minute on a Sunday evening and gave this location a try. The person taking orders in the drive through was very friendly and welcoming over the speaker, and the person at the window was friendly as well. My food was accurate, hot, had a large portion, and was packaged well. I will definitely return.
I come through here at least 1-2x per week because I pass by going home. Sheka is always so friendly! GREAT customer service!
LISTEN! THIS IS THE BEST CHICKEN EXPRESS LOCATION IN ALL OF DFW! The staff is so friendly, the kitchen is EXTRA CLEAN! I have NEVER seen a fast food restaurant of any kind with a kitchen this spotless! If you don't believe me, pull through the drive thru and look for yourself! And the staff!? Rather driving through or eating in, they make you feel like valued and appreciated. The older lady who took my order at the counter served my food to me at the table like I was at a steakhouse and she was my waitress. I've never seen anything like it! And I'm not referring to one instance. Every time I go, the service is top-notch! I applaud the manager. I forgot her name, but she should be promoted to a corporate trainer and help ALL THE OTHER LOCATIONS on how to MANAGE their teams! Very impressive!
We got a family pack of tenders with fries and extra rolls and gravy. Everything was hot and the tenders were crunchy. I would have liked more fries in the family pack but it was enough. We've always had great meals and service at this location....its a favorite!

Giving a five star review because times are rough and everyone is doing the best they can. If we want control of every outcome, we should cook at home. Rolls and apple pies are my favorite. Green beans are delicious and I love the tea. Oh and they sale bags of ice which is awesome!

I've been eating chicken express for decades but hadn't ordered from this location before. Tasted like it should, bagged well, and fast.
The fish was hot, fresh and tasty. service was great the young man in the drive thru was very polite and courteous.
Atmosphere was nice. We went for a friend's birthday party. Waiter was friendly and gave good suggestions. Food was so-so but it seems most of us got sick that night. Not sold on returning, but one visit was nice.
I've never had chicken express before but it's an instant favorite of mine. I recommend the spicy tender dinner. You get the option to switch out a combo for a dinner. Combo gets you 1 side and 1 drink, dinner gets you no drink but two sides for the same price!
I like Chicken Express fish & sweet tea. I didn't go in this particular store. So I can't adequately respond. I was there to pick someone up. The parking lot was immaculate and the windows were clean. So I'm assuming at the store was clean inside as well.
Always a solid choice for a quick bite to eat. This place is always busy so getting there a little before lunch is the best thing to do. The 4 tender combo is a good amount of food as well as the 2-piece meal. The hot seasoned salt (serendipity) is where it's at so, makes sure to ask for it.
Long story shor...the employees were awesome!! My order had gravy on the the mash potatoes, "when I said no gravy at all. Not even as dipping for dipping." Was obviously oblivious to them. So got gravy on both taters. My ice tea 1/2 extra ice was almost no ice and very sweet!! Then my 4 piece chicken 1/2 spicy the orginal was one and a half. I didn't complain about the chicken tender and a half, but the gravy and the tea. The tea was better when replaced. Then I only got one replaced mash with no gravy not 2. When I left the line for the 2nd time. I noticed the deficiency of mash, there was a line almost to the street so I didn't get back in line it was lunch time now also.
It's ok. Typically chicken place. They are friendly for the most part. There's always a line. But that's anywhere for dinner time. Sometimes the green beans aren't good or the gravy is runny. But other than that, it's always decent.

Chicken E is my goto when I want fried chicken fast. I hit this location at lunch time but the service was quick, the tenders and jalapeno poppers were hot and fresh, and the tea was as sweet as can be. The poppers are a standout item since they're made with cheddar instead of cream cheese - delicious!
I used to think Golden chick was soooo much better, and it really was... but compared to this location, Chicken E takes the cake here. Super fast! The chicken is always PERFECT.. & the nuggets are also always on point! Only complaint is the rolls don’t seem so fresh, a bit stale, and the gravy is super bland. I always add the special powder to my gravy and it’s 10x better. Other than that... great location!

Food was a lot saltier than I had previously remembered. The cashier was friendly but one of the other employees with red shirt and hair extensions was kind of unprofessional because she kept on talking to some friends of hers, instead of paying attention to the customers in the restaurant. She was talking very "loudly" to her friends. Then she locked the lobby door about 10 minutes before 8:00 and then the customer had to beg his way in because the drive thru was very busy. If the lobby is to stay open til 8:00 p.m. then she shouldn't lock people out until 7:59 p.m. I was a dine in customer, so I was observing all of this firsthand.
Great food...sometimes they give you your food with no bag??! Why?? And chicken and fries with no ketchup! You would expect a chicken place that mainly serves chicken and fries to automatically add ketchup! But you have to ask for it and a bag to put your box of food in!! Then you end up asking for ketchup and they hand it to you out drive through and falls all o we the place not to mention if your on lunch you may need a bad to be descreet not juggling a box of chicken around
When it's freshly cooked it's great! Employees always try to secretly up size your beverage when you order a combo meal at the drive-thru. "What would you like for your large drink?" The combo meal comes with a 32oz drink which is a medium! If I want to up size I'll let you know.
It was alright. Good if you want old fashioned Southern fried chicken. I do remember the chicken livers had like a crazy amount of batter on there. Like to the point where it was still smushy in spots because it couldn't cook all the way through. The side dishes are pretty good for a fried chicken spot. The sweet tea tasted like it was maybe mixed with super cheap lemonade or sweetener but still drinkable. The cashier almost forgot one of our orders but it was all taken care of. It's cheap, fast, plentiful and passible quality.
Tenders keep getting smaller, or at least are smaller more consistently. They do throw in some extra but its hard to call it a 4 tender meal when it's actually 7 chicken nuggets
Service is fast but lately the chicken tenders have been really small and hard. Plus, no more serendipity seasoning!? Can't have their tenders without it so there's no reason to choose them over any other chicken place
This location has gotten orders wrong numerous of times, not only with me but with my coworkers orders as well. This particular day we ordered a number 1 n 2 number 6's n were given a totally different order. When we returned to complain, the manager himself came out to give us our correct orders n even offered a gallon of sweet tea. Nonetheless, we were robbed of some of our lunch break due to wrong orders n wait time.
I’ve ordered from this location three times (chicken twice and fish fillet once), and each time the food has been overly salty. I’m sharing this feedback because it’s the closest spot to my workplace, and I’d really love to see improvement.
The food itself was good, no complaints there. Unfortunately, the customer service was terrible. The worker who handed me my food seemed annoyed, rushed, and shut the door in my face immediately after. It honestly felt like they didn’t want to be at work and were just waiting to clock out. A better attitude and basic courtesy would make a big difference.
On 12/7, I waited a long time for my order. The tenders were old and dry, which was disappointing for the $15 I paid. This poor service will negatively impact my rating. 11/25 visit: Kimberly was so nice and professional. I explained that the lobby was closed and that I didnt have a car I had an 18wheeler. This place reminds me of Churches chicken, however Churches chicken is way better. I was disappointed. Chicken was hot. Chicken had a Bland taste & 1 of our chicken drumstick was not done. Mash potatoes & gravy had a bland taste also. The corn fritters & rolls was good. Dont see me eating here again. If you are hungry & dont have much money, it's worth the stop.
My chicken was to dry to eat, rubbery in other places. They are too busy talking loud with one another about personal conversations that customers should not be hearing. They forgot parts of my order. I had to go back again. This location is a hit and miss.
Chicken was OK, but the teenage customer service needs attention. Ask for a 3 piece with a breast substitute and the cashier said they don't do that. I told him I could pay extra if needed. Heard him tell the girl in the back he didn't know how. She had to come do it for him. I gave him my Amex card, and he gave me a really unfavorable customer look. Couldn't help but to think he was not trustworthy, but with that I won't be reordering there anymore.

Also, be aware, if you order online the prices are 20% more for pick up than if you just go and order through the drive through which doesn’t make sense since online you are assuring accuracy to the order yourself when you purchase online to pick up. EVERYTIME I GO HERE I HAVE A VERY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! This time I called around 9:00 to have them drop me two fresh fish because I like my fish hot. I have always chosen to go to Chicken Express over any other chicken place solely because of their Arnold Palmers. I haven’t had one in a minute so I asked my husband to go and get me a large. I’m on the phone with him as he orders our food now first let me say the drive thru lady was rude very rude she wouldn’t let him talk more like she kept over talking him. Which is how she ended up adding things to our order that we didn’t ask for and then the sign clearly says that a 32oz sweet tea is $1.29 now as long as I can remember they never charged you extra to make it an Arnold Palmer but tonight a 32oz Arnold Palmer was $1.99. Since when??? Not only that we ordered a 12 pc mixed why we got more thighs than anything else, if that’s the case ma’am we could have just paid for dark chicken instead of paying extra for the mixed. It’s ok you all don’t have to worry about me I will drive the extra mile to go to Golden Chick believe that.
For the THIRD time, this location has messed up my order. And it’s the same order every time. They give me a 4 piece instead of a 7 piece. It’s the same problem every time. I really hate getting half of my refund back so essentially I’m paying for what I didn’t want. So thanks for that. Not really sure what’s so hard about putting 3 more strips in there. It’s almost like they go out of their way to not put them in the box. I’m not sure if your Uber eats app is sending this location the wrong order, but this happening three times is ridiculous.
Sunday, Lobby closed, order wrong. We were told lobby was closed because employees didn’t want to deal with foot traffic so they made people wait in drive thru.We had to pull up & wait because our call in order-12 hrs ahead wasn’t ready, other customers driving off complaining orders were wrong& had to sit in drive thru because MGR wouldn’t personally deal with it. Worst service ever.. fix it or close it. 😉
Food was fine (not great) but staff refused to give an adequate amount of sauce. Manager was extremely rude, asked me a question about what I'd ordered and immediately interrupted my answer to repeat over and over that you only get one sauce. I bought $30 of food and you're telling me that comes with 1 ranch.... what a joke.
I went to another chicken express and was charged $5.00 for the $5 box and this one charges me $5.41. Also the other chicken express let’s you choose your side while this one ONLY does fries with the $5 box. Asked for spicy and got regular. Btw the chicken wasn’t good.
Drive thru employee generally doesn't listen so you have to repeat yourself several times. Pulled up to the window and the four employees I could see were all huddled up around the manager's phone looking at something, not paying any attention to the window or customer orders. Finally got our food after waiting a while. We were missing a side of gravy so had to go back on and was ignored by staff for over 5 minutes as they talked and one of them swept the floor. Finally got the gravy and went home. The biscuits we got were hard as a rock and one of them was covered in butter that you could visibly see on top. Mashed potatoes and gravy didn't have any gravy at all. This store is very close to my apartment and I will drive out of my way to eat somewhere that values customer service.
This location has gotten 2 other of my coworkers salmonella poisoning. Please do not eat at this particular chicken express. I now have been diagnosed with salmonella poisoning. I feel awful. I have previously eaten at this location and experience the same results but didn't think I could have poisoning. ZERO STARS, THUMBS DOWN ON THIS LOCATION
The food is good, thats not the problem. Its their customer service or lack there of. After my first bad experience thought i would give them another chance but it only got worse. The gravy container spilled all in the bag. When i took it inside the didnt apologize or offer to correct the problem. They left part of my purchase out then acted like i was they one at fault for asking for it. As i was leaving another customer came in with a complaint as well. Maybe it was just the people or person on that shift i dont know but i would rather drive to another location than go thru that again.
We ordered 12 rolls as part of our meal. They literally crammed all 12 in a box that usually fits 6 only. As a result, our rolls were flat as can be! Where's the fluff of the roll(s)? That's part of the enjoyment of eating rolls. Not to mention they were SOGGY! I love Chicken Express but now hesitant on going back.
Came in to get my lunch I got a tender snack pack and didn’t get asked if I wanted spicy or regular tenders I always get regular and I normally never have an issue but I ended up with spicy tenders. So thanks for messing up my lunch.
Ordered from this location twice, first time we did not get all of our food, this time I decided to pick up myself and the service was not great at all. I walked in spoke to Porsha in regards of my to go order and she just looked at me like I was never there, no response, no can I help you, no yes one moment. Ordered online due to having a limited time on lunch so I would just come in and pick up. Although, the process is not that. Do not recommend unless you want to be ignored and waste your time.
Always slow to get an order. Even tried going through the drive through in hopes of getting food quicker. No dice. They estimated 15 minutes to cook more chicken, ended up waiting over half an hour. How does a chicken place not have enough chicken ready during a lunch rush?
I would never ever recommend this establishment to anyone if it was free. I ordered food and when I got home it was cold and old. When calling back to complain the manager and employees in the background were very rude. One of the employees even issued threats over the phone inviting my husband to come back and he had something for him. We even spoke to the general manager whom was just as unprofessional. When arriving back at the store the employee that was threatening over the phone came from behind the counter to fight. Not one time did the GM intervene to control the employee yet called the police while I attempted to get a refund. This situation could have been avoided had the staff and manager handled the situation in a manner that was apologetic other than advising to bring the food back whenever you are in the area. I hope the owner of this establishment takes a look at the people they have working for them as they are very unprofessional and need to have customer service training. A manager should know how to defuse a situation when dealing with an irate customer not escalate it. Right, wrong or indifferent the customer is always right. If you choose to be in an industry that deals with people you should have customer service skills. Very disappointed in Chicken Express.
Never order from this place on a Tuesday if you don't want to be disrespected. They got my order wrong and they couldn't do very much to help me since I ordered it on Door Dash, which I understand fully. That's fine. What isn't fine, is when they call you a list and tell you what you're seeing isn't real. They are rude and disrespectful. .... Did I forget to mention I had a hair inside the box? The box comes in a sealed bag for those of you who don't order and would immediately assume it's my hair.
I WISH I could leave zero stars. Our order was so wrong it was laughable. I ordered a spicy box combo with a roll and fries. I got regular chicken with corn nuggets and a biscuit…what? And for whatever reason there was an apple pie that I didn’t order in my box and it wasn’t even an apple pie it was cherry! The Mac n cheese we ordered was so watery and salty my child gagged at how gross it was. Never ever again.
Tonight I decided to give them another chance after getting the wrong order multiple times. Even though I received the right order tonight the chicken tenders were way too salty. So for $9.50 I could only eat the rolls and corn nuggets. The sadest part about this place is the customer service. When someone calls to tell them there is a problem with the food they have bad attitudes. I will not waste another penny at this location!!!
Reading and listening should be a requirement for an employee at any location. I requested ketchup and Honey and it was repeated back to me in the drive-thru, but I didn't receive it.
Honestly giving this establishment one star is VERY generous on my part. Went through the drive thru and placed an order at 5:51 PM on 5/25/23. We were asked to pull forward and waited 30 minutes for the food. Went inside and asked about it politely letting the cashier know we had waited for 30 minutes. She replies: it just came up. So I returned to my car and within a minute it arrives. However, the girl hands it off and doesn't even acknowledge the "thank you" she received. The tenders were hot but everything else was cold. Thank God for microwaves. Won't recommend and sure won't go back.
This location was ok. The food was below average for CE, seems that they forgot the seasoning and/or salt. Really small tenders, too. The manager (or some employee) was yelling at all the other employees the whole time I was there. The dining room was very clean, though. Give this place another try and it was the same experience but they never called for my order. It took around 20min for everyone else but at the 30min mark I had to ask and they didn't even have my order queued.
I’m a regular chicken express customer I remember being in high school (I’m 25 of age now) and going off campus to my favorite spot which was chicken express it’s always been close to my heart and have never experienced what I just have today. I called early in the morning (because I tried calling the night of the incident but no one answered after 3 attempts) the manger informed me the order was going to be fresh and remade but when I arrived at the location I was faced with nothing but aggressiveness from All the staff I brought the chicken tenders back that y’all have me that was spicy when I ordered regular due to my health condition where I can’t eat spicy foods which will cause me to bleed upon arrival I informed the staff they gave no sympathy for the mistake they made that could have caused me to go to the hospital. And not to mention the tea was sour this is Texas we want FRESH SWEET TEA NOT OLD EXPIRED TEA the Manager lady with braces was very argumentative and didn’t even apologize for giving me spicy tenders when it clearly says on the receipt regular tenders. After coming to chicken express for 10+ years and being a loyal customer this particular incident may cause me to NEVER visit again due to the manger lady with braces not making me feel welcome or attempt to apologize for the mistake your staff made!!!!!! Not to mention I wrote this review while waiting 15 minutes for my order that I had to come back twice to get! This location seriously needs help
Yo. I know it’s tough out there. Inflation etc. But this is a picture of one of my 4 chicken tenders (next to a standard house key for size reference). This food cost almost 12 dollars. I’m a simple person. I don’t have unrealistic expectations of Chicken E. By almost any western standard, this is bad.
Service is horrible here and at the Industrial Highway in Bedford Texas location with the same District Manager is just as bad! I asked for fresh food and they provided the wrong order after waiting for 30 minutes or more. When I come here I get the same exact order every time 2 of the #2. They mess the order up as well several times. This time was just the end of the line for me. I simply asked the employee (African American woman with braids skinny about 5”6-5”7) to charge my card for $19 because I wanted to pay remainder with cash. She charged my card for the whole amount making my card overdraft. When I tried to talk to a manager at the location he was very rude and was not willing to assist me and just continued to try and cover for the employee. He also did not provide fresh food and still got my order wrong after sending the food back 2 times. Not only that they provided me with old food. I called the District Manager for the 1st time and told him the issue and he raised his voice at me very unprofessional and told me not to come back. This is what you will receive when you make a simple complaint about the service you were provided.
Went to pick up a family meal spent over $60 here just to get chicken tenders that were undercooked. I got a box of half spicy half mild both taste exactly the same. I really should have brought it back but my sister continued to eat since she was so hungry. It did make me and my mom sick I will not be returning to this location of Chicken Express.
Drive through girl was probably in something. Gave out the orders behind us and then came back to ask what my order was at the window. Got my order half wrong and didn't even give me my sauces. Attitude gave off "I don't want to work here". The only good experience was asking for my sauce with the girl inside at the front .
This store ALWAYS has issues with their orders. Prime time dinner time and they don't have any white meat available or Chicken breast. 15 min wait. 20 minutes go buy and I was told they FORGOT TO DROP MY CHICKEN. I literally was there over 30 minutes. This is the THIRD time in 6 to 8 weeks this type of service has been experienced by me and my family. ALWAYS A lot of chaos and horrible slow service with customers in line being Mad. The workers need to stop coming to work HIGH as it's apparent their head is not in the Job. I don't even think they have management or ones who gives a s***
Update: 7/14/23 @ 5:15 pm my meal was replaced and I was very pleased the manager working today was very accommodating and polite and staff today was very polite and accommodating as well the manager on duty tonight was very professional and I appreciate her … Placed my order of a 2 pc fish dinner combo and a 2 pc breast dinner combo the little girl working the mic and window had a bit of a attitude she told me that they didn’t have breast it would be 9 minutes and asked if I wanted to wait and I said no give me the 4 pc tender dinner and then as I was waiting for my order I seen them take my 4 pc tenders from heat lamp and throw them in the fryer with my corn nugget and then put it in the box. Got home and the chicken was so tuff that I was not able to eat it and so I called the store and asked for a manager I proceeded to complained and ask if they always let the chicken sit under the heat lamp and when some one places a orders throw the chicken back in the grease and cooked even longer and she said no I said well that is what you guys did to mine and she never even acknowledge I said anything she never responded with anything not even a I am sorry or anything but did asked if I want to bring it back and get another meal and I said no I am already home and so she took my name and said we owe you a 4 pc tender dinner and I said thank you I appreciated it. She then did not even acknowledge I said that and hung up. The service was terrible with terrible attitudes there is no professionalism and my chicken was even worse. Their attitudes present that they don’t even care or want to be there. Always ask for freshly cooked chicken. Lesson learned I should have waited the 9 minutes for the chicken breast which was my original order but was tired and was ready to be home
Do you only make the sides and tenders fresh? Because the fried chicken that I got is old as heck! It literally looks old and dried out! Do better!
Just sad that I stay so close but willing to drive further for a place that has what’s advertised on menu, I can go in without door being locked well before closing, or can get someone in drive thru before having to pull off because I’m thinking their closed. Will make sure to just get something on the side of town I work on before coming to my own neighborhood hoping to get decent service. #overtheBS
Do not go to buy food close to closing, cause they serve you food that’s been sitting under the heat lamp to sale all the leftovers to save waste. I knew better to go at 9:45 (15 mins b4 close) and got served lol. I have a family to feed and I order fish and get shorted but replaced my fish with bread. The manager told me after I called back that they didn’t have what I ordered so they gave me what they had, and we gave you extra rolls in place of your fish we didn’t have. Why they didn’t let me make the decision to buy anything cause they didn’t wanna cook fresh fish at 9:45. Just tell me we don’t have your whole order…fill the bag with what they wanted to serve me for my money at closing time. 🤦🏽😡 they can assume I didn’t wanna not buy any but didn’t assume to add sum meat/chicken to the order instead of rolls. Lmao! Not funny but funny.
Every time I go to this Chicken Express on Post and Paddock the food is never fresh. I always make the mistake of thinking it will be the next time I pay my money for something but it never is. Think twice before you stop especially if you don’t see many cars at dinner time. Actually the only other car I saw there they were waiting for food they probably ordered to be cooked fresh.
Came here for a couple of drinks and some cookies, I got approached by the manager after the rude cashier lady told the manager that we had ordered teas and ended up grabbing sodas because the teas weren’t good, he approached me with a very disrespectful manner to ask me to pay for the difference of the drinks mind you the cashier was on her phone while taking our order, almost dropped the cookies.. did not pay attention to even make eye contact but was so quick to run to the manager for us grabbing sodas. Would not recommend this place. Very rude workers.. place is dirty as well. All of this for .70 cents….
I placed an online order and was assigned a pickup time of 8:55. I was at the window at 9:03, offered someone else's order, and was told my order would "take some time" and to pull forward. I finally parked and eventually went BACK to the drive-through at 9:21. My food was ready. I asked the "lady" what the deal was, and she said the person in front of me had also ordered chicken breast, so they had to cook more. I said "yeah but I ordered over 30 minutes ago" she told me no, I hadn't and said she would not argue with me about it WHILE GIVING ME A BAG WITH A RECIEPT SHOWING A PICKUP TIME OF 30 MINUTES PRIOR. I have literal receipts. Asinine.
I have been going to chicken e forever. Used to be good food at a reasonable price. But in the last few years the strips have steadily gotten smaller. They have finally gone too far! All the strips in my 4 piece today were barely bigger than a breaded shrimp! It would take 3 of these to even come close to the size their strips used to be. That’s a small, SMALL piece of fried okra in the photo for scale. I understand raising prices, but you can’t raise prices and shrink the portions this small!! Besides the hilariously small strips, the last few times I got a breast it looked like they had cut a tender off of it before breading, unreal. I have no issue with the staff, they are always friendly and usually get the orders right.
This was my initial visit and I must say the customer service experience was not welcoming. The African American woman, with glasses and the curly weave was rude and unprofessional when I questioned her about an automatic upcharge to my order. She said if you don't indicate which size you want, the restaurant will automatically upcharge your order. When I placed my order, I ordered two number 1 meals and said I want it regular. After explaining to her what I ordered, she then said I didn't tell him what I wanted which is why there is an upcharge. She had an attitude and said she'll get the manager, which I think was her coworker. I'm not sure why it's okay for a company to automatically upcharge money to my card without consenting with me first. There was no policy posted or no awareness from the employee that took my order. I'm bothered that she argued with me about money that I'm spending.
