Siamo stati con due amici per la bagna della merla. Bagnacauda strepitosa e molto saporita. Vasta scelta di verdure da assaporare insieme. Locale molto bello con caminetto e personale stra simpatico e disponibile. Ottimi anche i dolci ed il vino. Super consigliato!
È la seconda volta che andiamo in questo ristorante a conduzione famigliare perchè si sta divinamente. In entrata viene offerta una bruschetta. Noi abbiamo scelto come antipasto la battuta di fassone e le pere caramellate. Come primo agnolotti e papardelle ai funghi che erano la specialità del giorno. Il tutto accompagnato da un rosso della zona il Setecapita. Per dessert consigliatissimo il tiramisu della casa.
Fatto una scappata dalla pianura per prendere un po’ di fresco e trovato il ristorante “” Il Bagatto “” aperto tutto eccezionale anche il vino consigliato dal titolare , persona veramente affabile e gentile . Da provare

Abbiamo scoperto il locale una decina di anni fa, location molto bella nelle colline monferrine, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e menù tipico piemontese ad alti livelli, hanno una vasta scelta di vini locali, personale molto gentile e alla buona, dall’ora ci veniamo molto spesso ed è come sentirsi a casa
Ristorante con entrata meravigliosa che si divide in due piani, con possibilità di mangiare anche all'esterno. Accoglienza eccellente e servizio impeccabile, cameriera disponibilissima, mi ha consigliato un primo piatto su misura che potessi mangiare avendo comunicato le mie allergie, non mi era mai capitato, ogni volta che esco a cena devo sempre scartare i primi piatti, nonostante io sia un'amante di essi più che dei secondi piatti. Grazie ancora i tajarin al pesto di sedano erano eccezionali, ma anche tutto il resto!!! Complimenti! Ci ritorneremo!
È u ristorante che conosco da molti anni e, nel tempo, ha sempre mantenuto l’altissima qualità culinaria, abbinata ad un ambiente confortevole e accogliente. Il servizio, impeccabile, fa capo alla stessa famiglia sempre, e sempre con la dovuta attenzione al cliente. Solo un difetto, e grosso, non si riesce ad uscire dal ristorante a pancia vuota..

I went to the Bagatto restaurant on my annual visit to the village of Grazzano to buy agnolotti. I ordered boiled meat and veal with tuna sauce, while my father ordered tartare and a plate of agnolotti. All washed down with a house wine and a hazelnut cake. What can I say? I didn't even have time to order, and within 5 minutes, the dishes arrived. The appetizers were very good, really, a lot. After those, the main courses arrived, which were also very good, including a large selection of boiled meats with various cuts. Nothing to complain about, I'll definitely be back. They also offer dishes with truffles.
Everything was excellent! Don’t miss the funghi and truffle season! We went on a weekday dinner and the food + service was out of this world. We had the fried funghi as a starter and pasta with truffle. The bunet and nocciola cake were also amazing. Don’t forget to try their amazing amaro as well!

It's not my first time dining at this traditional restaurant in Monferrato! The atmosphere is stunning, the food is homemade and delicious, the staff is friendly, and the wines are excellent. I highly recommend it!
Excellent location, excellent cuisine, and excellent service. Piedmontese/Monferrato cuisine. Recommended for a quality Monferrato experience. Update: During our last visit, the food wasn't up to par with previous experiences. This could be a coincidence, however.
Recommended by Tenuta Santa Caterina, we head to Ristorante Il Bagatto, which I think is the best restaurant I've tried in the area over the past three days. We're greeted with a smile and the kindness of those who put their heart and soul into it. The rest is up to the traditional dishes, but the Russian salad is absolutely delicious, as are my tajarin pasta. Everything is truly delicious. From the kitchen, the attentive gaze of the Chef, in this case a woman, ensures the well-being of her guests. Well done, guys, we'll be back soon, you really made us feel at home.

Bellissima location. Arredamento interno molto bello. Anche il dehors. Bellissimi i tavoli con ripiano in cotto, le sedie in ferro battuto e i piatti con il logo del ristorante. Il tutto però rovinato da anonimi ed orribili sottopiatto in carta (raffigurano una serie di articoli di giornali americani) il peggio: tovaglioli di carta. Anche le posate sembrano quelle di una mensa aziendale. Il servizio ottimo, mamma e figli sono gentili e veloci. Un bravo speciale va al Toni. Attento e con molto savoir-faire. Antipasto e primi molto ben curati. Il secondo (filetto di maiale al pepe verde) aveva bisogno di una piccola elaborazione, tale da renderlo un po' più raffinato. Buona la carta dei vini, buono anche il prezzo.
Il Bagatto Restaurant, located in the main square of Grazzano Badoglio in the province of Asti, presents itself as a unique place from the moment you enter, with meticulous attention to detail in its furnishings. In my personal opinion, the rooms are very beautiful and interesting. The table service is very attentive and discreetly formal, with a very polite and knowledgeable waitress. The menu draws on the traditions of the Asti region. We opted for a mixed house appetizer, which included the inevitable Russian salad (failure to score), a cheese mousse with caramelized pear (really good, excellent), and a raw beef tartare with a light sprinkling of black truffle. The meat was excellent, though bland; the truffle was awful, so it could have been left out. Salt and pepper were also missing to season the meat, and finally, two slices of veal with tuna sauce (failure to score). Overall, an appetizer with its ups and downs, which I personally find a bit too substantial for the 25 euros à la carte asking price. I skip the first course and move on to the second course: boneless rabbit with a side of baked potatoes and carrots. This dish was decidedly good, the rabbit was well-deserved and exquisitely prepared. Special kudos to the chef, but it was underrated at €18. Personally, I would have swapped the prices for the two courses. The restaurant is very beautiful and well-maintained, including in terms of cleanliness. The staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend it and will definitely return to try other dishes.

Ho provato gli agnolotti, ni. Mia moglie ha preso la tagliata, carne non male ma molto nervosa. Il locale è molto carino, servizio ok.
The only restaurant in Grazzano Badoglio, open only three days a week, it doesn't stand out for its varied menu, but what they offer is good, if not truly gourmet. Starting with the appetizers, which I think aren't consistent with the rest of the meal. Serving strips of mixed meat, which could be a main course, as an appetizer is absurd. The appetizers are, in fact, the weak point, because the rice with Barolo sauce and the agnolotti with butter and sage are excellent. The braised beef is good, but the polenta is less so, as it's rather watery. The desserts are average, but the bunet is excellent. The coffee lacks flavor. If it weren't for the courtesy and helpfulness of the very kind owner, the place wouldn't always be crowded. In my opinion, anyone who enjoys Piedmontese cuisine should look elsewhere in the area. Three stars aren't punitive, they're realistic.
