Bar Restaurant where I enjoyed two typical Piedmontese dishes: veal with tuna sauce and agnolotti with roast beef sauce... excellent price too... less than 20 euros including wine and coffee.

For a trip out of town to enjoy good Piedmontese food. Reservations are recommended. The restaurant has two rooms, one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor; the bathrooms are on the first floor. The staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients. We ordered a selection of appetizers: cured meats, tongue with greens, Russian salad, veal with tuna sauce, and artichokes. We took home one first course (the appetizers had already filled us up): agnolotti with donkey ragù, delicious even the next day. And the Piedmontese fried pasta without giblets. Everything was delicious, recommended.

The classic village trattoria as I remembered it as a child. The Monferrato area is bustling. The place is a bit dated, but the best part is the food. Local dishes at very fair prices. Generous portions to share, so you can enjoy sampling as much as possible from the menu. In the land of donkey meat, the agnolotti filled with this stuffing are a must: exquisite. The finanziera, almost impossible to find these days, takes you back in time. I will definitely be back, and soon. The lunch service was typical of a trattoria for work or passing diners, but it was also genuine. Kudos to the owners for their fair pricing. Parking a few steps away, in the town square.

Delicious food from Piedmont. All the range of antipasti: peperoni in bagna cãûda, fritto misto. Great bollito misto. Red wine like Ruché available. Very reasonable pirices. A must try

Pausa pranzo durante un giro in moto. Trattoria alla buona, con qualità del cibo più che dignitosa. Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi contenuti: primo, secondo, un quarto di vino, mezzo litro d’acqua e un caffè 15 euro e 50. I titolari hanno un approccio un po’ scorbutico, ma alla fine sono gentili. This is already the second time my son has taken us to eat the famous fritto misto and I have to say that it is just as I remembered: Super!!! Even though it was very crowded, the girl who followed us did her best to not leave us behind. I am Tuscan and I don't have the opportunity to come here often and I'm sorry, but I know that my son who lives in the area comes here often and it's good for him.

We passed through Grana by chance and stopped at this trattoria, just like in the old days... the memories and references to the Alpine Corps are redundant. A typical Piedmont/Monferrato menu, well-made and generously sized. Highly recommended. A place that harks back to the old days. We'll definitely be back.

A lovely Piedmontese osteria, simple and spartan, that wins you over with the authenticity of its dishes. Local ingredients, authentic flavors, and generous portions evoke the cuisine of times gone by. The service, surprisingly formal and a bit sullen, creates a pleasant contrast with the rustic setting. A sincere, no-frills place, ideal for those seeking tradition and authenticity in a humble atmosphere. The complete antipasto was truly rich and of good quality. The tagliatelle with mushrooms was very good, even if the seasoning was a bit sparse. The donkey agnolotti were succulent. The bonet, on the other hand, didn't really convince me. The house wines were decent. Excellent value for money. Overall, I wasn't very convinced by this place, but I'll be back to try other dishes and the famous Piedmontese-style fritto misto... as well as getting a smile from the waitress 🤓

A classic Piola, one of the few left around. The food is decent, the finanziera is excellent, the fritto misto is good, and the wine is forgettable. For two appetizers, a fried fish dish, a dessert, wine, water, and coffee, for €27, you can't do better.

Sono stato più volte per vedere se qualcosa nelle volte precedenti era andato storto e ci sta. Entri di solito c'è un Signore al banco del bar, abbastanza trasandato , saluti e a malapena fa un cenno. Il cibo non sempre di buona qualità, fritto misto più volte provato e più volte riscaldato, pane raffermo e cameriera indisponente. Mai più.

Locale troppo affollato, rumoroso oltre il limite,cibo e vino da discount, antipasti pessimi e anche le altre portate dozzinali, spesa media ma sempre esagerata per la bassa qualità delle pietanze. M…

La frittura del fritto misto non è croccante, sembra un prodotto scongelato e riscaldato nel microonde. Nella salsa di acciughe che accompagna i peperoni si percepiscono le lische frantumate ed è molto sgradevole.
