So last night i decided to bring my whole family to this magical place. My in law’s parents and my family. The Food the service the atmosphere was perfect. Our server Carmen the manager Jason. Unbelievable customer service. I just don’t know what to say other than you have to try this place out. The food was cooked to perfection. Huge compliment to the chefs. The whole team is amazing. I will come back atleast 1 time per month. It felt like a vacation.

Great location! Nice vibes. Waiter was a bit overwhelmed he took a while to bring the beer we ordered after our cocktails arrived. Otherwise, we would definitely do a do over. Love the ambiance and the atmosphere.

Great food and fun. Beautiful, right on the water! Lots of great art and design. So relaxing. Another good outing at Cowfish. We pulled up by boat with a party of seven and sat right away. The food was good. They were out of a lot of specials we ordered, which was weird. Drinks were spot on, although they were out of a tequila and a non alcoholic beer we ordered as well. The waiter was amazing! The atmosphere is always stellar. A hot spot, for sure. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

Very chill but nice restaurant worth going to. The cornbread is the highlight of the meal, highly recommend getting it as an appetizer. Ceviche of the day was fantastic, as well as the lobster roll (though expensive). Both burgers were really good as well, and the brussel sprouts make a great side instead of the fries which were good but nothing too special. Drinks were great and had free refills for iced tea. Skillet cookie is a must try. Definitely recommend trying this, and make sure you get a good variety of food!!

05/16/2025 I stopped into Cowfish to try their happy hour when my plans for Friday afternoon fell through. I accidentally parked at Out of the Blue. 🤣 But was able to walk down to Cowfish and sat at the outside bar. The views are gorgeous. Lots of seating on the patio, walkway and chairs on the grass too. The bartenders were very attentive and made me feel so very special! I ordered rum punch, margaritas, buffalo shrimp, and clam chowder. The shrimp were quite delicious. I would order it again. Definitely try Cowfish, you will be enchanted!

Wow! I had such an incredible experience at Cowfish. Everybody was so nice, efficient, and thoughtful. They checked in on us regularly. The view is incredible, and the property has seating everywhere to accommodate their guests. The food is of high quality! We had the skillet cornbread, jumbo buffalo shrimp (absolutely crispy and incredible), rotisserie chicken, Cowfish burger, and ended it with an iron skillet cookie. My goodness, everything we tried was exquisite. The views were incredible, and we saw swallows flying above us, which made our experience even sweeter. I absolutely love this place and will be going back. Please book a reservation in advance, be prepared to wait, and remember the parking situation. Cheers!

I went to Cowfish for the first time with my wife on a Friday night and we both agreed it would not be our last. You can book a table online, which is what I would suggest doing. The ambiance is amazing, you're right on the water. There are multiple rooms and outdoor seating as well. I had a Mezcal cocktail and it was very well balanced. We ordered a dozen oysters, which were on the small side. The species and harvest location was not specified, which is kind of puzzling given the caliber of this establishment. We also ordered the clam chowder, which was fantastic. For entrees, my wife ordered a salmon with risotto special, which she loved. I ordered the New York strip, which was great, although it was slightly overcooked. I ordered medium rare and it came out medium, a mistake I'm willing to live with but at an establishment with this prestige and price tag I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed. All in all, it was a mostly positive dining experience. I would give Cowfish another shot at earning that 5th star the next time I'm in town.

Boats, boats, boats!!! Here alongside the marina sits Cowfish; a nice casual to upscale restaurant. The food says luxury, while the ambiance speaks of casual boating life. You’ll find a mix of people in date night clothing, to people pulling up in their go fast boat or classic yacht. Catch a view of the marina from the top deck, while enjoying the many tasteful dishes for dinner. We had the clam chowder (delicious), the ceviche (portion size left us wanting, but it was fresh and tasted great), filet mignon (cooked properly to order and tender), salmon filet (cooked properly to order, I didn’t taste but understood it was good), and finished with their home made Banana Cream Pie. Ok - so their Pie is actually what made me comment today. I jokingly asked for a whole pie, and they will sell a whole pie, which I learned was actually common around holidays. If I wasn’t here for work, I’d have actually taken a whole pie to go… yes - it was that good! I enjoyed Cowfish as a whole. There were a few things that the staff did that got their rating. Largely it was the attention to detail for service. Our primary server, she was great! But a spill happened at the table (our fault), and no one helped. They kindly replaced the beverage, but with the wrong one. When the water vessel was refilled, they filled with sparkling water as opposed to the tap still we had been drinking. While these are relatively minor items, they are worth noting so improvements can continuously be made. Overall we were all pleased. Food was great, the staff members were pleasant, and the atmosphere was just what we wanted to cap the work day.

Beautiful spot in Hampton bays. Packed and great views. The service was good. The menu was somewhat limited and the best part were the seafood apps of shrimp and lobster filled mushrooms. The main courses included fluke, salmon and salads were good but nothing stood out much. In all a great spot for drinks and apps but for a real dinner restaurant it was unfortunately short on that part.

Giving this place 4.5 stars. It’s a charming waterfront spot with a great atmosphere. Overall, the food was good, and we definitely plan to return. The reason for the half-star deduction is that the cornbread arrived 3 min after we ordered, obviously it had been precooked. While it tasted good, it was warm almost room temp. The rice that came with my tuna was also at room temp. Wasn’t sure if this is intentional but it felt a bit off. Our server didn’t check in during the meal so we didn’t get a chance to ask. That said, the flavors were excellent, and their sauces were unique and tasty.

Again one of those restaurants that is overrated by people mixing food quality with restaurant vibe. The restaurant vibe and atmosphere was very nice but that was not the only reason I went there. Food from appetizers to main dish were pretty poor quality. The worst issue was that it was not freshly made and it was obvious that the food was prepared in advanced and warmed up at the time of the order. I can’t imagine for that size of restaurant unless staffed accordingly if there is another way to make it work. Drinks were also nothing special. My cocktail was just crushed ice with a bit of the mix! Prices were definitely for an upscale restaurant.
