The staff is incredibly nice, I orders two meal one for here and one to go and they offered to leave on in the warmer before I go, 😭😭😭 I love them that’s just one of the many nice things they have done

Whataburger just has a special place in my corazón. Not a huge fan of the fries tbh, but the burgers are always fresh and tasty! I love being able to specialize my burger with grilled onions, mayo, and no pickles. This location had good service and clean restrooms too, which makes it an excellent pit stop!

Amazing Staff, eat in dining is closed, as Commercial Truck Drivers. Whataburger stepped up their game. Took our order outside and brought it to us when ready. Thank you This would never happen in Canada ...can't do drive thru ,to bad for you. Thank you Whataburger

I have been at some Whataburgers where the food and service have really lacked luster lately but this one was awesome. The service was friendly, prompt and helpful and the burger was like the best of the good ol days at Whataburger. If you're headed to or from the McAllen area on 281 make your stop here at Alice. It's a step above.

Some how the cooks mixed up my order. The manager was very nice, respectful and professional. She apologized and gave me a refund for the inconvenience. Prime example of how customers should be treated!!! A mistake was made and she made it right that's it!!! She didnt make any excuses!!!

Stopped by for an early drive-thru lunch, and encountered what seemed to be the most cheerful Whataburger employee I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with at a menu marquis. So, after which placing my order with thorough thoughtfulness to detail, Crystal Tovar politely directed me to the 2nd window to finish my transaction. I proceeded, and when I got there, she asked for my payment so I reached out with my card... and it dropped to the ground between my vehicle and the window the instant she touched it. I cringed, but I have to say this; the very instant we both felt it drop, she threw hesitance right out and said, "I'll go around. I'll get it." Now... to a lot of you, that may just be the way it's supposed to happen, and to those of you, I ask- how often do you find that and are willing to go look for the same? Or do you just stick to where it comes? This is a fast food place that in most cases doesn't particularly go to that little bit more of length of service for their customers, and this young lady didn't miss a blink to reassure my comfort and convenience. This is in praise of her attitude towards the service of the customer. Bravo, Crystal, and job well done. Please don't change! Whataburger isn't the only place that needs more people like Crystal; the whole world does.

My favorite place to eat! Mostly always get the #5 or most recently the avocado bacon burger, they're so delicious! I love that I can request my bacon be crispy, and it makes the food truly to my liking. I have the whataburger app and I love that I can get freebies after 5 visits!

Have tried most fast food breakfast egg sandwiches and the Breakfast on a Bun sandwich appears to be the best. It’s good and filling. Just added some green sauce.

It’s a Whataburger… What’s not to love… Not all locations are equal I will give you that much… But we stop at this one about every time that we’re driving through… Never had a problem… Order on the app and my wait time is about five minutes by the time I get there.. ;) The food is always hot and fresh… And the people are nice most of the time… Hope this helps

My Whataburger stop when I'm in the mood for a burger on my way to the valley or back north. They have truck parking. They always serve fresh hot order of fries. Wish all restaurants did the same. I recommend this location.

Compared to our last experience with a Whataburger location while on the road, there was a little bit of PTSD walking into this place. It definitely helps that we have visited this location a couple of times and have always had solid experiences. This experience was no different. There was a little bit of a wait, but we had our food within minutes. Order was 100% correct, they made sure we had napkins, ketchup, all the things. When you have a 9-year-old and are in a restaurant in an area that is not your stomping ground, you just don't want to get up and leave her alone no matter the environment. Even though it was right around lunch time when we visited, they made us seem like we were the only ones there in the place. Faster and more polite than 99% of the Whataburgers here in the DFW area that I have ever been to. Shows that management here knows what they are doing. No flies, no weird smells like the one near Corpus Christi that we will certainly never visit again. We will keep coming back to this awesome Whataburger in Alice!

Was driving late at night and got hungry. Decided to place an order online and do drive thru pick up. Honestly, it was pretty quick considering the amount of people that were there at 12 AM. The food was hot so it was fresh which I loved. I do not recommend adding the picante salsa to the taco. It was gross lol

I travel a lot for work, and I have visited various Whataburger locations. This was by far the best burger I have ever had, ranging from Dallas, TX down to Laredo, TX.

It was packed with an entire schools track team and we still got our food pretty quick!

My boyfriend and I stopped for a quick "to go" order, on our way to pick up his new motorcycle. Both burgers were great! The avocado bacon burger I got was amazing! We both loved it. Definitely ordering again.

Same flavor as every other Wataburger in the country. The employees were great. The biggest difference is the most annoying noise! The front door has a fan that keeps or bugs, and it stays on for far too long. Something so small, but something that drove me insane while eating.

This was my first experience with Whataburger and it didn't disappoint!! Very friendly and helpful staff. The bacon burger with blue cheese is a belly popper and I'm glad I didn't check the amount of calories upfront, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. But I'm glad I tried it and have no regrets. This location is convenient next to the highway and we didn't see 2 hours on our trip anything so were happy to finally see Whataburger popup!

Oh Man - Utterly Delicious Burgers here. ($4.00+ single patty, barely over $5.00 for an amazing double burger). This was our 1st visit to the best hamburger chain in Texas was just a few days ago. This location is part way between San Antonio & Edinburg to the South, where there's only a small handful of little towns between these 2 cities. 99% is strictly open land, high grasses (rainy May) beautiful full green trees..and very very few restaurants, barely any drive-thrus in the area. ♡This Whataburger should Not be missed! Slow down- driving South it is on the right. Stop on by, do the Drive Thru - menu's outside.. Nice polite staff, and a quick cook. They do have 2 lanes of patiently waiting hungry Whataburger-fans! There is also 2 lanes to the right of waiting cars - for trucks! Yes, multiple very hungry Semi - drivers were waiting... A brisk burger business! A gal runs out to your car with your lunch/dinner. Wow! Hot food, was just cooked to perfection. We requested 2 " cups of water," look what size Mega Cups filled with icy water we got with the food! The tomatos are thick sliced, chopped onions, such a pillow soft tasty bun and the burgers cooked to perfection. No complaints here. We are eager for our next Whataburger stop. Mmm yum! Enjoy!

It's a pretty good and clean Whataburger, and the food usually comes out in a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint is that I once tried to call an order in so that I may pick it up and nobody answered. I attempted to call for times letting it ring as long as possible in the early morning hours when it wasn't busy. I ended up just driving up and going inside and they made my order fresh. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Service could be better, I've visited this location multiple times over a period of 5 years since I frequently travel 281 northbound from the RGV for work. Mostly drive through visits. Can be hit or miss, but that's the norm for a lot of fast food places. Still overall good food quality.

Hey I just had my first Whataburger. I got the Monterey burger with two Patties on it and it was really great. There was truck parking in the lot next to the Whataburger so it was easy for me to walk over and get some lunch. The fries were delicious as well and everyone was pretty friendly

The burger was great. The fries had a weird chemical taste and I threw most of them away. I still give 4 stars because anytime I eat something delicious and don't get diarrhea later it's noteworthy in today's world.

Food was great, the only set back, it was moderately busy inside, yet I thought our order took some extra time to be delivered to our table. Understandable, the drive thru was busy, and it was definitely fully staffed. It still is a great place to get a burger.

Food is usually decent. Place is perpetually understaffed, so waits are usually long enough that it no longer qualifies as "fast food". Also, what the heck is the deal with not being open overnight?! You can't eat biscuits and gravy in the car, so what's the point of even serving it?!

Stopped for a milk shake, waited approximately 35 minutes given there were six vehicles in front of me. This was at 2pm

Worst experience I have ever had. Will never come back. First of all, the cashier was a older lady, and she was very rude. I saw another customer simply ask her for cream for her coffee, and she replied “NO!” I also saw AT LEAST 3 people leave because of her moving SLOW as MOLASSES! she also messed up our order. Never coming back!

Stopped here on my road trip. Sign in the window says lobby closed, drive through (drive through staff said the lobby was closed due to short staff). So, I drive through, get my food, and park in an unmarked spot to eat which is two spots over from curbside #2 and #3 (only marked curbside spots). I had two separate employees come out and question if I was a customer. I said yes, they then asked a curbside customer? I said, no and explained I didn’t see a curbside sign. They were very abrupt and told me I had to move my vehicle. 1) mark your curbside spots 2) if you have two employees playing burnside cops, then you really aren’t short staffed in the lobby.

Not what it used to be. I used to eat at whataburger 2 to 3 times a week. They changed and I haven't eaten there in 3 years. This visit just reminded me why I don't eat there anymore.

The food was top notch! Hot delicious, every detail of the order was to perfection. However DO NOT USE CURBSIDE PICKUP! As they will not bring your food out. We had to go into the restaurant and let them know the order even existed and then they started preparing it.

1st time trying them wasn’t bad service was ok only issues was the vibe, I ordered my food got my drink cup and number which I placed were I was going to sit after coming from the restroom and when I got back the manager was siting at my table with my stuff their, I had to pick up my things and move to another table and she didn’t say sorry or acknowledge me just looked and went back to messing with her tablet, I thought it was weird and rude

I don't know if it was the people working here, but it took us 30 minutes to get to the window and all we ordered were a couple drinks and fries. There was only one lady doing everything while everyone else was slacking off. Because of this our order didnt even come out correctly. The food was still good as always, but the service was slow. I feel bad for the woman who was actually doing her job, she looked very stressed. This place, on a scale of 1-10, gets a 2/10..

Super slow for pickup app orders, nothing special or large either, yet the drive through moves quickly, some locations let you place app order and pickup in drive through but not this one. Seems as if they are prioritizing drive through versus app and that’s a shame cause I know lots of folks who use the app and will just go to other locations moving forward.

I placed an order on the app for a plain and dry whataburger, fries and shake. It says it will be ready in about 8 min. My son gets down to pick it up since the drive thru was full. My son waited over 20mins till I went inside myself to ask about the order. We'll apparently it was ready but no longer warm/hot and it was in the area of the drive thru. I understand they have new employees, but come on- 20minutes?!

They have truck parking service not so good they could of done better. Truck parking though.

When most of the world is open for dine in, this place is not. Waited in line for 30 minutes for 3 combos. Fries were cold. They forgot the jalapeno they charged. Got no condiments or napkins until we asked for them. If this just 1 customer, can only imagine every order that was placed at the time.

While our food was hot and fresh, we waited over 30 minutes to get our food. We ordered on the app for mobile pick up. After arriving and waiting 10 minutes passed the 'ready time' I went inside to ask about our order and I found out it wasn't even started.

I like what whataburger , I stopped to get me a burger. Tried of being in the truck all day. Find out dinning area closed. They offered to take my order, I didn't feel like eating in my truck, specially after driving all day and still eat in the truck. I rather go somewhere I can get away from truck and eat. Very rude staff!! Stopped by to get some food and redeem a reward from the app. The young lady who took our order was very nice. I got charged for my reward by mistake and asked if they could fix the issue. A different young lady came into the picture and got annoyed that she needed to help fix the issue. She made rude comments about us to other employees while the drive thru window was still open! If I could rate less than one star, I would. To make things worse, the manager was called by the employee to handle the issue further and when she arrived, she didn’t ask me anything she just started at me with this annoyed look and her eyebrow raised. Note: My husband and I were polite and said thank you the entire time all this was going on. Have had too many bad experiences, will not be returning again..

Food was good,parking very tight, could be cleaned more often. Take out oder 2 oders and 1 shake. For some reason my oder took 20 min, not very busy when i went. Felt extremely disappointed. It seemed my oder got purposely got pushed back. When i asked status of my oder cashier gave me an ugly look and no answers. Will not pay for discrimination.

We stop at this Whataburger at least once a month. First thing to address the service from the front counter employees is so bad. We had a brief misunderstanding about our order and the front counter worker was so rude, and had the worst attitude. It was just a simple correction nothing major. We were just there today. Typical attitude from the front counter employee.Two employees in the back were not wearing masks. Come on now. Let’s get it together Whataburger.

Dinning room closed till 10am!!! This completely cuts out the Truckers who parked within walking distance. Screw Tex-Best also $2 +tax on a miniscule portion of food. Truck Drivers have forum & social media tool to highlight reasons not to patronize your establishment. You don't deserve 75% of the star I posted.

Horribly disappointed in the lobby hours. 10am - 6pm. I'm a truck driver so where I can stop to get decent food is already limited. I hoped to get some good food this morning but I'm not going to waste time waiting for the lobby to open.

I'm very disappointed at this whataburger location. They do have truck parking but how do they expect truck drivers to get a meal if dine-in is closed. My dad tried to order from the window but was ignored by employees until someone acknowledge him but was rudely greeted, all he wanted was a cup of coffee. Very disappointing on how they treat truck drivers.

They forgot my order, showed them my bags, then got accused of lying by the manager who had a regular employee tell me who mind you was VERY kind, unlike her manager, and when I confronted the manager, showed her all my bags AGAIN and even said she can check my car if she’d like only then did she say they’d give me my order and remake my other orders since it’s been over 30 minutes and they’re all cold. Worse service ever and to be accused of lying are you freaking serious??? Not to mention we’re still waiting for our “new food” to be done and it’s been well over an hour WAITING for our order to be done CORRECTLY and this time NOT be accused of lying. The employee was a sweetheart but that manager who accused me of lying was horrible and needs to be fired like seriously who does that!? Check your cameras before making accusations!!!!

food was great over all but we had used the app and we had to wait 30 minutes for just a burger. there was a car in front of us who had a big order and wouldn't move up to the yellow line where they are SUPPOSED to go. we call the place and they told us that we had to wait in the line. honestly they could have done there job right and had the people in front of us move forward like they were supposed. over all very mad at the workers right now :/

This location sucks. Always out of food or an item. It happens often. I ordered a honey butter biscuit online, I arrive and they’re out of biscuits. Fine can I have a refund? oh, we can’t give you one. I ate the chicken on a burger bun and it was gross.

Asked for toasted buns, and the result was a toasted bun that drowned in butter. The Apple pie was off in taste. And seems like they don't put much of the apple filling. Half of the pie had nothing and the other half had a dab of apple filling. Service was great just who ever was the cook was not in the mood to cook.
