This churches has fast service, friendly staff, affordable deals, and great tasting chicken, I definitely see myself stopping by at 10:00 am again.

Good service & nice staff. Super clean including the restrooms. Also SUPER cold inside so if you want to eat in make sure to bring a jacket.

The smoke house chicken was really good. Breast meat was moist and had good flavor, unusual for a fast food location.

I usually have bad experiences at other Churchs' but this one in La Joya have been pleasing me with fresh tenders so far.

Enjoy the chicken and the DELICIOUS biscuits. Service is better than normal fast food chains. I recommend this Church's.

The food was going to take extra 10 minutes to be ready,it was an online order. They called to let us know, so we don't drive ahead of time. They gave us a free drink to compensate for the time.

Had my meal right after paying compared to other church’s that are always full on sundays .. Small but clean & good service .. Perfect place to eat on a Sunday .. Everything was warm & delicious including the apple pie 🥧 🍎

Great customer service, speedy drive thru service. Great apple, lemon and cherry pies (depends on which one is available ) let's not leave out the jalapeno bombers. Fish plate is good kind of small but delicious.

Going in it was very quiet the employees did not welcome you or asked if they could help you, it was a very awkward. The food was hot as it should be and delicious, some tables were dirty restrooms were clean. Over all experience? Ok

I enjoy eating the fried chicken and the tenders. The biscuits are very good too. The fries are adequate. The rest of the sides are horrible in my opinion.

I have gone two times and ordered in the drive thru one time there was no one in the restaurant and when I say no one I mean it. And they took forever two make two chicken wraps that's all I ordered. Both times they have taken forever and told me to park in front with no customer s.

Gone several times and complained about the small 2 inch tenders and They keep giving me small tenders. They do make it fresh upon request that why I have 3 stars.

The chicken strips were not cooked!!! The gravy was so bad we took it home for our dog and he smelled it and walked away. The service was very good.

They opened at 10:00am. And we didn't get out till 10:40 because apparently the stoves were not working. The manager was very rude to us. Never stopping here again.

Rude employees..I am aware they don't get paid enough, but their lack of communication can be very misleading. They told me my order would be out in seven minutes and that turned into thirty five minutes.

Had a bad experience with the window employee this Monday 9/19/22 at around 4pm. My wife is pregnant and asked if she could spill about 2" of tea so she could mix it with water. She complied, but seemed very bothered and had an upset face. I couldn't understand, but who knows their problems which they should not bring to work. I love to joke and when she gave us our 5 piece chicken stripes combo and mentioned $10.80 I said, "wow that's expensive!" so she could laugh, but I got nothing. Lol. It was horrible, no smile no thank you, just like a get out of my face look. Lol. Would rate this place 5 stars if it wasn't for that awkward experience.

Worst Churches Chicken ever, I’ve been there 2 times this week and there is no chicken ready. That I have to wait 20-25 minutes for them to make it. Like what the heck, worst customer service ever. You lost a customer

Somehow, through the years, all these chicken places have replaced chickens with small chicks. Prices are at a buck a piece of chicken, when they should be a quarter. Church's chicken used to be one of my favorites, now, I get my chicken legs at stripes. Bigger, cheaper and more flavorful.

Couldn’t hear the drive through speaker at all. 8 PM on a Saturday after ordering chicken I was told they were out and had to wait 25 minutes for more chicken. Overall not a great experience

So my husband and I went to eat at the Church's Chicken in La Joya..worst mistake ever. Here is why; First of all, I order a #1 chicken leg and a breast. The breast was so tiny and dry that it was hard to eat. 2nd, the restaurant was filthy dirty..and the bathroom was the cherry on the cake..beyond dirty. I will NEVER eat here again. Where is the manager?!!!..

This place needs it's drive through speaker fixed or upgraded ,plus the guy at the window who took our order needs to get replaced . Service is slow . Waited 10 minutes for a biscuit to get cooked SMH.

The food is good but they forgot 6 biscuits that were already payed for so i had to drive back and reorder them and by them again

Today is April 1 2019, I love this restaurant but who ever was in the drive thru she really sucks she is not polite she looks like she hates her jobs I went around 2pm who ever was that lady she sucks please manager put someone else in the drive thru that girl that was there makes customers not coming back again

No matter where you go all their chicken is always greasy. I'd rather pay the extra cash and eat a little healthier chicken than this stuff.

Our chicken was reheated so that's nasty. If it doesn't sell change it but don't reheat . Not recommending.

I was asked to move to the front parking because items in my order were not ready. 30 minutes later I had to go in and ask for my order turns out they forgot. I gave them the receipt and they gave me the wrong sides. Bad service

Yesterday I ordered four chicken sandwiches to go and when I got home i noticed chicken patty wasn’t fried all the way and buns were hard like a rock. I called the restaurant and nobody answered.

Will never step foot or recommend this place to anyone. Placed an online order so I wouldn’t have to waste my time waiting at the restaurant. Walk in after the suggested pick up time. Waited for someone to come to the register because there was no one in sight but the cook who was standing in the back kitchen picking at his arms 🤮 when the other guy finally walks out, I tell him I’m there for an online pick up and he grabs the receipt from the printer and says “oh, we’re out of chicken. It’ll be a 15 minute wait”. I asked if he could cancel instead and a lady who speaks nothing but Spanish comes out saying they can’t cancel and it’s not their fault they don’t have kitchen. Insinuating it’s mine for placing an order at 8 pm when they’re business hours have closing listed as 10pm. Says she can’t cancel. Anyways, waste of time. Probably shouldn’t have let my kids pick this as dinner, but that’s on me. What’s the point of advertising an app and wanting us to go digital when the service & products are subpar.

This is my last visit at this location. Service is very lousy. Worst personnel ever. No wonder they have no business. And they are extremely stingy!!! Mashed potato was dry, hardly no gravy. We asked for a little more to be added to the potato and said they couldn't, that we had to pay $1.00 for it. Then, we only got 2 small paper towels and we asked for more and only gave us 2 more. They are ridiculous!!!! Surprised they don't charge to use the restrooms. The best Church's location to go to is in Palmview. Chicken is very very tasty, wonderful personnel and owner too. They DO NOT hesitate to give you any extras. Guess I'm better off driving from La Joya to Palmview.

Worst place ever? I order a 10 piece leg and thigh...and i got tenders, i called and said that my order was wrong and the manager said ill give you credit but fir now eat those tenders and next time you come by ill give you your 10 piece leg and thigh
