Jay’s kitchen may not look fancy, but the food is fantastic Every time you call the order is always correct ☑️ And Randy is especially a sweetheart 🤗 Prices are reasonable and conveniently located in Latham on Route 9 There’s so many yummy dishes that are delicious. I cannot name them all now That’s for my next review 😊 I highly recommend them 🙌🏽 Give them a try ✅ ✅ ✅

My favorite place to order take out when I’m feeling lazy. Food is always piping hot and well seasoned. Super affordable too. Best Chinese take out in the capital district hands down!!! My only suggestion is that the crab rangoons could use a little more filling.

Ordered the Beef and Broccoli, A shrimp fried rice, pepper steak, and a handful of other options. Its always a great place to get Chinese food, the portions are generous, its always burning hot, and it tastes great. I've ordered enough they recognize my number and toss in free drinks, they're a wonderful family owned place 😃 !!

Take out Chinese food place and Google is asking me to rate atmosphere 🤣. Seems inappropriate. Regardless I have lived in Albany for 8 months and I have been lamenting about how terrible take-out Chinese food is around here. This place is a bit far from where I live in downtown Albany. It's about 7.5 miles but it's location is one of those weird areas that are somehow further away mileage wise but quicker to get to time wise and it's like a 10/15 minute trip. It's definitely worth making the trip when you're hankering for Chinese food because it is miles better than any other place I've tried. Their food is great. The portions are too. And their prices even seem to be better than other places in the area.

Ever scroll through something and go heyyyyy I haven't been there in a long time! That's what happened when I was looking for take-out. As I remembered the food was so fresh and well prepared with a good quantity. The food is well seasoned. The gentleman was kind on the phone and happily included the paper menu I asked for. I'm old school, I like looking at them. The location is tucked out of the way in one of the little strip mall sections on Rte 9/Loudon Road. Thank you for dinner and plenty of leftovers for lunch!

First time trying j's kitchen and it was very very good the best I've had in a long time. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and the broccoli as well. I asked for extra spicy and it was exactly that!! The spicy seaweed salad was great as well! I would definitely go back to try other dishes

I've ordered from here a few times now. Love the General Tso's chicken! Lo mein, fried rice, and coconut shrimp are also good. Crab rangoons unfortunately didn't have much filling in them.

When it comes to Asian Cuisine, i only go to J's Kitchen. Great price/portion ratios. delivers through grubhub which could always ruin your experience depending on time the drivers actually can go pick up the food. I advice to take the drive and pick up. Recommended

Wonton soup was really good! Chicken with broccoli was on the money. Roast pork lo mein had a weird taste almost like it was close to spoiling. Fried dumplings were quite thick and not thinner like the wontons in the soup.

I gave it a try after reading positive reviews but was unfortunately disappointed. I got the sesame chicken lunch combo with a iced tea no egg roll for $10, half the chicken was decent the other was too chewy I threw the rest out nothing special here SMH

We ordered from J’s a few times just because it’s kind of out of our way from where we live. Every time it was great until this last time. I’m not sure what happened but we were both sick the next day. The General Tsos chicken was off. We picked up directly from the restaurant so it was fresh but I don’t know if we’ll order again.

I showed up early as a grubhub deliverer. I asked the woman and the cashier how long it would take. They wouldn't even acknowledge me. They where busy. So when I asked again they where frustrated. I only want to know because now it was 15 minutes later and I needed to tell Grubhub and the customer where their food was. The woman was making rough comments in Chinese after she stated she already told me. Definitely a language barrier. Don't blame the delivery driver for lateness. You can always track the driver through the app. If the foods not ready when it states it will be. There's not alot the driver can do. Business's need to be more considerate and look at all their customers and state they acknowledge the customers.Not look down or walk away. And then start talking in a different language.deliverers always ask .So we are not standing there only to find outc15 min later the order was never recieved

Thought we’d try ordering here again after some positive experiences in the past, we’ll go back to our usual place. Rock was found in our combination platter rice. Thankfully I wasn’t chewing hard but nearly chipped a tooth. My daughter ate her leftovers today and found a hair in it.

This used to be our go-to place for Chinese food takeout. We've been ordering from here for many years. It used to be perfect every time, but the past three times we've ordered, their pork fried rice had tasted off, their gyoza has tasted weird, and this most recent time, the general tso chicken was hard to chew and tasted old. I actually got food poisoning this last time and just recovered after a few days, but it was miserable. Terrible and will not be ordering again. Why is it so hard to find good Chinese food in the area?? Did Js change ownership or something??

I just ordered from this restaurant today and got general tso chicken and rice with an egg roll. First things first the egg rolls were over cooked on the outside but I managed to eat it. But The chicken dish was absolutely disgusting. Everything including the rice was so awful that I couldn’t even eat it and had to just toss it. I was surprised to couldn’t even eat the rice but I’m guessing the fumes from the chicken ruined it. With each bite I was trying to take i become sick. I’m not sure why it had this awful taste, I can’t even put my finger on what it was but I ordered this dish multiple times for restaurants & this was the first time I literally could not eat my food. I wasted 17 dollars of my money & will never be ordering from this place again.
