Jen and Jordan were so kind to us and made sure we were well taken care of. The book was wonderful with lots of flavor in the tomato basil and the sweet potato fries were a must have. Would definitely recommended to anyone looking to enjoy a nice quiet cafe setting where the portions are just right and the atmosphere is very fresh.

Came to visit the garden from out of town and walked into Trellis Cafe not long before close. The staff welcomed us with arms wide open and gave us the best seat in the house! Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and our water glasses were never empty.

We love visiting the Gardens but had never been to Trellis and decided to give it a try. Very glad we did! Everything was very tasted and had really nice unique flavor. I particularly enjoyed my sandwich and the tomato basil soup. The desserts were magical. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back!

I hosted a bridal shower brunch for my niece here last weekend, and it was absolutely fantastic! The space is beautiful, and Jen was incredibly helpful—answering all my questions (I was planning from out of state) and offering wonderful suggestions. It all came together perfectly. We all agreed that we’ve just started a new family tradition!

Went here with some family that I haven’t seen for a long time. The service was fast and friendly. The food was great. I wish I got a picture of the salads because they were huge. The atmosphere here was great. The space is bright and inviting. It’s elegant but also casual.

Another great meal at the Trellis Cafe. The staff here is so awesome😊. After walking through the gardens the perfect ending is lunch here. We had the chicken sandwich and kids chicken strips. Simple food elevated by the chef. Everything tastes so fresh and looks amazing. We always look forward to coming here.

If you’re looking for a classy place for lunch in Utah County, try out the Trellis Cafe at Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point! I met with some of my realtor colleagues for a mastermind lunch and it was a relaxing break in the day—to sit outside on the shaded patio overlooking the glorious Ashton Gardens. If the heat is too much, there is interior air conditioned seating as well. I usually choose a salad over a sandwich, so I selected the Trellis Salad with fresh mixed greens, sweet and colorful fresh berries and citrus segments, topped with toasted pecans, creamy Brie and a raspberry vinaigrette. So fresh and light in the heat! Other yummy salads are available along with delicious sandwich options and also soup, though maybe save soup for when it’s not 100 degrees outside. But you should order their delicious fruity lemonades to help cool down! Only open for lunch, so be sure to check hours. Thanksgiving Point is a gem in our community so don’t miss the restaurant options available there. No admission to the gardens needed to enjoy a wonderful lunch!

6/5 +1 Price +0 Service +1 Food +1 Ambience (The view) This was a great experience! It pairs perfectly with a day at the Ashton gardens. It was a little busy when we went, with very fun and nice servers. Although the service was a little slow. The food was decent, above average. And the view is fantastic!

This is one of our family's favorite places to eat. The atmosphere is beautiful, overlooking the gardens. The food is delicious! We have tried every menu item and love them all. The desserts are divine! The staff is always friendly, attentive and helpful. We eat here nearly every week during the months it is open and have always had a good experience! Highly recommend!!

The staff, food, and atmosphere all contribute to this 5 star review. We visited shortly after a long morning of playing at the Museum of Natural Curiosities. We sat down at the Cafe and quickly felt under-dressed. But the staff was so nice and kind, food was delicious. All in all a wonder experience and worth the price!

Trellis Cafe is one of the most charming spots in Utah County! Overlooking the beautiful Ashton Gardens, it is a restorative spot to enjoy lunch with family and friends! Jen has been there for years and always remembers my name and greets me with a warm welcome! The food is fresh and delicious! Such a gem!

I did go with all my kids and they were friendly to them, and actually had a pretty good kids menu, about 5 things to choose from. I called and talked to the manager once about the other reviews saying it isn't kid friendly and she said "yeah, one of those is a family who came in and let their kids run around like it was McDonald's, we told them to not do that, the other was a family that accidentally skipped the "please wait to be seated" and had seated themselves during a busy day so we made them go back out to the lobby." Plus they give the kids wikki stix to play with while they wait (designing things) so it's actually pretty kid friendly. Though apparently it isn't always based on some reviews on yelp, sadly. Maybe depends who's there? Upscale. $10 to $12 for the adult lunch menu so not too bad, more focused on "healthy" than "tons of food," seemingly. Excellent service. We enjoyed it. For a family of our size they could only seat us "indoors," not on the patio but that was OK. Raspberry lemonade was good, and "on sale" Tuesdays.

Dining at Trellis feels like an escape. The café overlooks Ashton Gardens, giving it a serene backdrop. The menu features fresh, seasonal dishes with great attention to flavor and presentation. It’s especially beautiful in spring and summer when the gardens are in full bloom. Service is calm and friendly, creating a relaxing experience.

We visit the Trellis several times a year. It has been consistently a very positive experience. The food has been great - with a nice variety of menu items. The cafe staff have always been most pleasant. We especially enjoy the cafe atmosphere. The cafe has both inside as well as patio seating on the perimeter of the Ashton Gardens. With plenty of windows to the surrounding gardens the inside atmosphere is light and airy. The service has the feel of formal dining - including linen table cloths and napkins, but most guests are dressed casually. Limited backgroud noise allows comfortable conversation.

I have to stay that Trellis cafe is one of my favorite places to go and relax for lunch. Jen, the hostess/manager is the best and always accommodates any needs we have. Love her to pieces! I will certainly be making my way back!

Trellis is truly a jem! The service is personal, genuine, and very efficient. Jen (the Manager) greets every guest with a smile, and our server Amelia was one of the best professionals with an up beat attitude and clear mastery of her craft. Thank you Kevin, Jen, and Amelia! We definitely will be returning!

We are always treated well by the friendly, confident and competent staff. The food is always top notch and the atmosphere at Ashton Gardens is second to none. The views from the dining patio are beautiful and today, when it is somewhat stormy out there, we were seated at an indoor table with great views. The prices are decent. It’s a great place to have lunch.

I've been a frequent at the Trellis Café for upwards of ten years, and every visit never disappoints. The manager Jen always greets us with her bubbly charm and their waitstaff always goes above and beyond! The view is always breathtaking, and it's never too crowded. Best tomato basil soup I've ever had, and very filling meals all around. The Trellis is also very accommodating to kids, and I love how their manager is always insistent on treating the kids to some colorful Wikkistix to keep them occupied. Without a doubt, definitely worth the trip.

Me and my mom had lunch here after we were done with the tulip festival. The food , the service, and the prices were amazing. They brought us home made bread and butter while we were waiting for our food. And I got a fresh squeezed blackberry lemonade. So Flavorful . I will come back whenever we are in thanksgiving point again. Would Recommend !

Amazing food, a beautiful view, and fantastic service! It’s my favorite place to go for lunch!! The steak sandwich Is sooo good and the sweet potato fries and house dipping sauce are out of this world good!! I tried the broccoli cheddar soup recently and found it to be one of the best soups I’ve ever had the pleasure to try. My husband loves the tomato basil soup so much, he gets it every time we go. The manager, Jen, is so friendly and all the wait staff are attentive and really seem to care that you’re having a great experience. I’d give Trellis Cafe 10 stars out of 5!!

Trellis Cafe was great! The trellis salad was a little boring, but the other entrees and desserts were amazing! I highly recommend the quiche, the fresh berry lemonade, and the lemon berry tart.

I wished I lived closer, this would be a nice weekly restaurant. It is more upscale than an olive garden, however the price is not ridiculous. You also get a free dessert if it is your birthday, which was a nice surprise for my fiance. The environment if very nice, I recommend sitting outside. The food was delicious. I recommend the cheese melt and ice cream. The only slight problem was the lemonade is a little too sweet, but still good.

If you have an event - you MUST have it at Trellis Cafe. We were in town for a family wedding and planned a milestone birthday celebration for my husband while we were there. I contacted the restaurant and Jen was WONDERFUL - came up with all kinds of suggestions and accommodated all of my requests. She had special menu's printed for my event - who does that?! She arranged for a kids table for my two children and she made them feel like they were SO grown up. Our server was Amelia - who did a fantastic job with our party. The view was to die for and the food incredible, delicious and absolutely beautiful to look at. I wish I lived there so I could become a regular. Thank you for making my husband's birthday party the best - all the extras made a HUGE difference! We will remember this lunch for years to come. I highly recommend Trellis - Jen will take wonderful care of you!

Don't skip out on ordering the raspberry lemonade! Gorgeous view, kind staff, small location makes for easy conversation and a mellow ambiance. Love their salads and sweet potato fries. Yes they have fry sauce, the complimentary macarons you get at the end of your meal are truly the piece that steals the show. Great experience.

I was impressed at the portion sizes. I ordered a side of sweet potato fries (delicious!) and had plenty to share. Our server was friendly and prompt and gave good suggestions. The prices were a little higher than I like to spend for a weekday lunch, but you get a lot of food so in my opinion it’s well worth the cost :)

Trellis Café is one of my favorite places to eat in Lehi. The food is outstanding! It's fresh and light, yet flavorful and plenty. The sweet potato fries are excellent, and I haven't had a sandwich there that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The atmosphere adds to the experience! And the cost is very reasonable.

It's hot here today in Utah. We stopped in for the first time Trellis Cafe and were greeted by Jen the manager. She seated my brother-in-law and I out on the patio dining area where we had a great view and shaded from the hot sun. He and I enjoyed cool drinks and chocolate cake. Later on the rest of our party joined us and they prepared a table for 10. Our server Brandon was excellent. We had two active 4 year old twins in our party and Jen, the manager asked if she could borrow them for a while during the wait for our meal. She took them to a quiet area in the dining room and entertained them with bracelet kits. The kids were thrilled and their mother was too. She was able to join in the adult conversation. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing. We had a relaxed lunch administered by caring people. I would definitely recommend Jen, Brandon, and the Trellis Cafe at Ashton Gardens. I am excited to return!

Just wanted to drop a note and say I watched your employee, Kevin, work while I ate here. He is one of the best and hardest working people I have seen in a long time. You are lucky to have him.

Excellent atmosphere and view. Great service. Fair prices. And the food...is simply excellent! We eat there almost always at least once a week during the summer. Our favorites are the Greek Salad, Tomato Basil Soup and the Steak Sandwich. Sweet potato fries are some of the best! They also give you amazing warm bread and a delicious macaroon for desert. We're always sad when the season ends.

I've been coming here weekly for 10 years. The food isn't my favorite actually (I'm more of a Wing Stop customer), but I come because of the people and the environment. Jen, the hostess/manager, has been constantly friendly, professional, and helpful. I've always liked the different servers I've had over the years - I think they do their job very well - this year Olivia and Holly in particular. I know from experience that when Ashton Gardens has big events the Cafe gets super busy, and I allow for that if I happen to come by at those times; actually, I usually wait until a little later in the afternoon to go. The patio has a pleasant view facing the Gardens and the Lake Mountains. I don't think I've ever had an unduly long wait for my food in 10 years. Edit: I should mention my favorites - Napa chicken salad sandwich and chocolate mousse cake.

We have gone to the Trellis Cafe several times over the years and it is one of our favorite places to celebrate birthdays. We were there on 9/13/25 and had the best server named Nate. He was so friendly and personable even our kids commented on how great a server he was. He went above and beyond to put a little candle in my husband's bowl of fruit as his dessert! We just love how kind the workers are and in the past they have given the kids little craft to work on while they waited for their food. We were able to sit outside and it was just a beautiful day. Thanks Trellis Cafe and Nate and staff for helping us celebrate my husband's birthday this year!

Came here with a larger group and they were great to accommodate. We did have a reservation so we didn't have to wait. We had great service and it is a nice atmosphere, I love sitting outside. The grilled cheese was fine - had a little weird after taste, maybe the Swiss? The tomato basil soup was very good. My husband loved the steak medallion sandwich.

This is one of the only places I know of in Utah that has a real patio with a gorgeous view. That alone makes it worth going. We ordered the Trellis salad. It was delicious. We didn’t order dessert but the ones being brought out to others looked delicious as well. The service was a bit slow.

Out table by the vines was accosted by yellow jackets. My friend had to cover her food to get rid of them and took most of it home. The soup was delicious but the side sandwich was skimpy. Disappointed.

Service was excellent. Food is similar to what you'd get at Zuppas, and similar pricing ($18 for soup/salad combo), but they make everything in-house. If you're into flavored sodas and lemonades, they make their own fruit purees. They bring a tiny loaf of bread for the table, and when I asked for a box to take home the leftovers, they boxed up a new loaf. Our server Kaera was great. It was very quiet out on the patio, our seats were adequately shaded, and I was able to work remote for a little bit after lunch.

I ordered the pastrami sandwich. Not a great choice. One thin slice of pastrami, egg, etc. on a croissant. I have eaten a significant number of pastrami sandwiches over the years because it's a favorite. This was near the bottom of the rankings.. Others at the table had better selections. The sweet potato fries were very good.

First time dining at this restaurant. Absolutely love the gardens! The food was good and our server was great. Unfortunately, the manager was not kind and very passive aggressive with our group for no reason. May not dine here again because of her attitude.

I have been here many times and everything is okay but not spectacular. the sweet potato fries are some of the best, however this last time they were served cold and of course not very good.

A good place to grab a bite after a visit to Ashton Gardens. It was clean and bright with an upscale feel without being overpriced. The broccoli soup had great flavor, but was a tad too thick. The steak sandwich had and excellent peppery flavor and the half sandwich was still plenty for a lunch entrée. The sweet potato fries were great. Portions were perfect. My kids were pretty disappointed with the children's menu: each option was $6, and each item came out of a box or freezer. It's not hard to make real macaroni and cheese rather than serve the Kraft variety; fresh chicken strips are even easier; and we could have bought a whole bag full of the same reheated corn dogs for the same price up the street. The fruit and cheese in the Trellis salad was a bit sparse. Overall the food is good for adults, sub par for kids, but overall a good experience.

We were excited to try this place, especially since there were plenty of empty tables when we arrived and the atmosphere looks great. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered a pasta and a burger. We waited about 40 minutes for the food to come out, which was surprising given how empty the restaurant was. When the burger finally arrived, the meat was raw inside. I had to send it back and wait another 20-25 minutes for a new one. By that point, over an hour had gone by, and my wife and child had already finished their meals. I ended up taking mine to go. To be fair, they did offer a free dessert as a gesture, which we appreciated. The manager checked in a couple of times, but our server didn’t seem very attentive throughout the meal. As for the food itself, the pasta was bland and the burger wasn’t great. The sweet potato fries were probably the best part of the meal. The atmosphere was actually really nice—both the indoor and outdoor seating areas were comfortable and well-designed. Parking was also easy. Overall, we were disappointed. With faster service and better food, this place could have potential, but our visit missed the mark.

I have never been so rudely spoken to or disrespected more in my life than by Jen. My 17 month old toddler was walking by me (the restaurant was not busy) she comes up and says “he needs shoes on, this is a restaurant” first off he’s a toddler-who cares. I accidentally forgot his shoes at home. Secondly, I would understand if I as a grown woman I had no shoes on but it was a toddler. Her tone was nasty and not in the least bit nice. I was going to walk out but felt that was unfair to our waiter since we had already ordered. I will never be back. This woman is the worst and should be fired.

Seriously!! The worst service I have very encountered! The manager Jen was so rude to my whole party. We came here for my bridal shower brunch and it was awful. The food took forever to come out and the waitress took forever to also get drinks. IF they were correct. The staff at this place is not friendly or welcoming at all. DO NOT COME HERE!!

As a GM of a fine dining restaurant, I rarely leave negative reviews unless the experience is truly unacceptable and unfortunately, this was. I had planned an anniversary lunch with my wife after the Tulip Festival. OpenTable showed the restaurant as closed until mid-May, but both their website and Google listed them as open. When we arrived, they were operating normally. I use OpenTable regularly and could tell they had simply turned off online reservations to take walk-ins only. Which should have been notated on their website and OpenTable's. We approached the host stand and were met by a frantic manager, Jen, who told us there would be a 20-minute wait. My wife made a lighthearted comment about an open table, and Jen snapped, “That table is reserved. Do you still want the reservation or not?” I had tried to make reservations days before of course we did! Her tone was unnecessarily rude and completely unprofessional, especially considering we were there to celebrate a special occasion. After waiting, we received a text that our table was ready. When we returned, Jen seemed surprised, saying, “Oh, you came back!” She seated us at a cramped two-top shoved directly next to the server station, with visibly different chairs used by staff folding silverware. My seat was so close to the threshold that staff accidentally kicked the legs of my chair several times as they moved between the kitchen and dining room. I could hear every conversation coming from the kitchen!! As a GM myself, I would never seat a guest, especially one celebrating a special occasion, next to a busy server station, let alone fail to offer accommodation when asked! I politely pointed to an empty four-top and asked if we could move, mentioning it was our anniversary. Jen rolled her eyes and said, “Unfortunately, this is all we have.” That was clearly false. Throughout our meal, several tables cleared and remained empty. We would have gladly waited for a proper table if given the option. Service remained poor. Our server visited only four times once to greet us, once to take the order, once to deliver food, and once to drop dessert. After finishing, I waited over 10 minutes before finally getting up and asking Jen to run my card because no one ever returned to the table. Food took 45 minutes to arrive and, while decent, it could not make up for the lack of hospitality. The only bright spot was Kevin, the busser, who was consistently attentive and professional! I wish he was on my team! This experience left us feeling dismissed, unwelcome, and incredibly disappointed on what should have been a special day. Management needs to seriously reevaluate their standards of service and guest care!

The food was horrible! I got a salmon and it was white and cold also the kids Mac and cheese was feeling like I was eating soup and the fries were soggy! the employees were pretty rude! DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND!!!
