Café Leon Dore is a tiny, stylish coffee shop known for its high-quality coffee, especially the Freddo Cappuccino. Customers praise the friendly staff and fresh ingredients. Limited seating and potential waits are drawbacks.

Avis sur Soho León
We got coffee and a quick bite here while we were waiting for our spot to come up up in the ALD store line. We got a Fredo cappuccino (in a glass jar), an Americano, and a Turkey Club Sandwich. Everything was really great but the sandwich was exceptional. It was very fresh and crisp. It also had this pesto/cilantro mayo that was different but delicious. The Fredo cappuccino was very smooth and also tasty. They charge a premium because it’s attached to the flagship store but it lived up to the hype. Check it out, even if only for the experience.
Had this spot saved for a while and finally dropped by on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the Frado espresso, the staff were super friendly, and the coffee was honestly one of the freshest I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!
So good! Drinks are amazing! A must before shopping at their store next door. They also sell small things here but it’s very small, the only seating available is outside.
This is Kendall Jenner’s favorite coffee spot apparently. I tried the freddo cappuccino and it was insanely good. They also have amazing snacks, and sitting outside is really nice too.
This is an absolute, beautiful café! it is small, but feels like you were walking into a four star hotel. I got a vanilla latte and it tasted so very fresh. The staff was friendly and great at making coffee. There is no indoor seating, but a few tables outside.
Very cozy cafe with amazing coffee, and pretty good food and croissant. Cashier was very welcoming, and we absolutely loved the atmosphere.
Café Leon Dore serves some seriously good coffee—smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. The vibe is clean and stylish, making it a great spot to sip and chill. Definitely worth a visit if you're into quality brews and cool aesthetics.
I finally visited Café Leon Dore at 214 Mulberry Street, Nolita, NYC — and it was everything people hype it up to be. Nestled in a fashion boutique, this café delivers a refined yet relaxed atmosphere that blends Greek-inspired coffee culture with stylish design. Their signature Freddo Cappuccino (and Freddo Espresso) lives up to the hype — frothy, beautifully layered, and incredibly photogenic. The cappuccino is shaken over ice, producing a light foam that perfectly balances bitter espresso and smooth, cloud-like skim milk. Add a drizzle of honey if you like a touch of sweetness. In addition to the iced drinks, they serve hot Greek coffee, classic drip coffee, espresso, teas, and a tasteful selection of Greek pastries like kouign-amann, croissants, and almond cookies. Everything pairs beautifully with their drinks.() The space itself is minimalist yet cozy, anchored by walnut paneling, gold accents, marble counters, and lush Persian rugs — the perfect venue for both fashion fans and coffee lovers. While indoor seating is limited, you can enjoy outdoor seats or take your order to go. There’s usually a line out front, but it’s understandable given how iconic the café has become in the local food and fashion scene. For many, a Freddo Cappuccino from Café Leon Dore is considered one of NYC’s must‑have coffee moments. Overall, a bite-sized café experience with big style — perfect for Instagram-worthy photos, quality coffee, and a glimpse into the unique fusion of brand, culture, and taste. A must-visit if you’re around Nolita!
Stay thirsty my friends ✌️. TY 3 shots of espresso hit hard. I feel like sprinting but the boy woody just likes rolling, because he’s still a little chunky. Tomorrow is the debate I mentioned Manhattan politics are cool, we need more housing. Haven green is a new project that needs the support of young people, like Calvin sun who has a great vision for what our city could be.
Cute little cafè. I had a iced matcha latte $7.50. Outdoor seating with chessboard tables.
I had a flat white and a chocolate chip cookie. The coffee was particularly delicious. You can truly taste the quality of the coffee beans. There was no wait when I went and was amazed by how friendly the gentleman who took my order was.
I’ve been to some of the best coffee shops all over the world and this has to be one of my favorites! I’m a former barista in Seattle and this is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to when I’m in NYC. BTW, this not a seeker-friendly coffee shop! this is a coffee shop that portrays the culture and aesthetic of an upscale cafe. This place is for people who care about the quality of what they wear, drink, eat and people who appreciate the finer things in life. 💯 Love this place.

Chai latte was one of the best I’ve had in nyc. Highly recommend!
Café Leon Dore is the cutest little coffee shop. I loved my iced foamy latte perfectly smooth and refreshing and my 2-year-old couldn’t get enough of their cookies. We stood by their charming little window, sipping and snacking, and it was such a simple, perfect moment. A sweet spot worth stopping by whenever you’re in the neighborhood.
Beautiful little cafe giving off Nolita/Soho vibes. They have repainted the shop to black this year (from white) which still looked good and gave it a fresher look. We went as soon as they opened but that also meant the outdoor chairs were not yet in place and available. oh well. so inside was cute (like in both looks and size lol). There wasnt any seating so we just did a grab-and-go. There are some merchandise for sale and I was so tempted to get an espresso cup. The pastries looked great and so far Ive tried their hazelnut croissant which was so good! the chocolate chip was very yummy too! I hope i could try more soon as all looked really fresh and delicious. and since we’re here, we had to try their Freddo Cappuccino of course. I added simple syrup to mine and it was perfect! I didnt really expect to enjoy it so much but I did! Line isnt as long now compared to before. Yay!
Café Leon Dore is tiny—definitely not a spot to hang out. There’s a small bit of sidewalk seating, but it’s more of a quick stop than a café to linger in. It feels like a consolation prize for when you get turned away at Aime Leon Dore and just want to treat yourself anyway. The coffee is solid, and they have a small selection of pastries. They sell Café merch, but not ALD merch.
The cappuccino I had was amazing! I got it with honey as the staff recommended. And for 5.99$ I think it’s definite worthy. But we were waited in line for 10 minutes under the heat. This is one of the reason why I give it four stars instead of two. Because I don’t understand why they only let one person in to get the coffee and there were 5-6 people waited behind me. However, the coffee was good but the line confused me. And if you want to browse the store you have to go outside for another line. Which was very inconvenience and perhaps the hot weather makes the waiting intolerable, not to mention waiting twice. Will probably visit again for a cooler weather.
This place doesn't have any tables inside, only a few outside. The coffee macchiato was very small, I even laughed when I saw this tiny cup, but the taste of coffee was good. I didn't like the sandwich because it was very dry and I hurt my tongue and gums.
This place is definitely a vibe but it’s very small and expect a line. Almond croissant was solid.

I came here to try the freddo cappuccino as I had never tried Greek coffee before. The actual cafe itself is very very small and cramped and the service is quite slow. The coffee was very strong (which I personally love), however, the espresso itself was very acidic. It wasn’t smooth like I expected it to be. It was nice to try, but I wouldn’t come back.

This cafe is perfectly located in the heart of Soho, but other than the perfect location there is nothing that great about this spot. The space is extremely small, their famous freddo cappuccino is just okay, and the service is not wow. Definitely better spots nearby.

I had a really bad experience at Café Leon Dore. The flavors just weren’t there at all, especially for the price. It didn’t live up to the hype in any way, and the long wait only made it more disappointing. Nothing stood out as worth the money, and I left feeling like the experience was overrated. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come back.
