Sonic has a good selection of drinks and fried, unhealthy food. This order of ice tea, which was tasty, took nearly 10 minutes to receive. There was nothing else on the order.

The bell hops here are nice. I would recommend that we tip through our card opposed to cash only in the meantime I’m going to have cash when I come back. Tonight my bell hop who was losing her voice was very pleasant and explained that my food would be delayed which was crazy cause she came out seconds after I placed it. The reason was completely acceptable my tea was being freshly brewed 😊 The other suggestion I would make is put a small amount of condiments in the back cause eating the delicious tater tots or ched r peppers without ketchup and/or ranch isn’t pleasant. Great location and lots of choices.

Came ordered food in less than 10 min food was out we were on our way.great service. We haven't been in awhile because it took to long for food like 45 min .but now a 180 quick and polite service recommend for quick bite.

Wonderful always happy after getting off late from work sonic is open 😇 has Scott take care of my food tonight and he was wonderful! Everyone here is very nice and professional. I was stationed out in Hawaii and was so used to Sonic staff not being so nice but was surprised at this location!

This review isn't about the food, which is always good. A creeper ended up following me as I was walking and I took a detour at Sonic to lose him. He still followed so I asked one of the Sonic staff if I could come inside until he passed. The girls were so sweet. They gave me water since I had been walking for a few blocks and one of the servers went outside to make sure the man kept going as she cleaned tables. I'm forever grateful for their kindness ❤

Showed up 15 minutes before closing and felt so bad after realizing, but Nakisha was a QUEEN and was so sweet. The food was hot and fresh and amazing. Thank you Nakisha for being so kind and omg we are SORRY for being those people and showing up so late.

Great place..people are nice! One kid has stood out above the rest! Aidan, hope spelling is correct! He is a real asset! Crazy friendly and actually loves interacting with the customers! One major complaint I have to hang completely on ownership and management is to fix the option to tip on the card reader! They live on tips and few carry cash these days! Shows a real lack of concern for their employees, Pretty sad!

Always have the best experience whenever i visit Sonic, and if I ever have slow service the food makes up for it! My favorite carhop out of all from this location is Jesse. Very professional and you can tell he really cares about getting the orders out accurately and as fast as possible!

I have one particular waitress that I like a lot and I always try to tip her well. The food is great and the location is perfect and the employees are nice and polite. Please tip your waitress or waiter, they deserve to be treated just as they have treated us and I have been treated very well. If you are in the area and want good hot food then I would go to Sonic. I never have an issue with my order and they get to me quickly.

We ordered via the app and dined at stall 20. The food was delivered hot off the grill. French Fries were hot and crispy. The car hop delivered our meals with a smile. An excellent visit to Sonic in Little Elm.

We love the burgers, they are always made fresh to order. We both have high blood pressure and order made our way. No added salt. I love the sauteed onions, hubby does not want onions. It's always our go to place for lunch. Unfortunately they are very far away from our home. So we don't get to eat there often. However, if we're ever in the area it's our go to place for sure. Give them a try you won't be sorry.

Typical sonic food, we really like it from time to time. Just be sure to check your order. On more than one occasion they left something off the order. They are happy to fix the mistake so its all good in the end.

OK 5 min rant coming. I like sonic, I like the menu selection but so many issues. 1 sonic is ALWAYS out of bananas, come on that's a basic item that is popular. Another closed at 8 I had placed an app order and arrived to pickup at 755,they were closed down and the speaker assured me a refund. Well I got no dinner before work and still waiting for the refund! Ugh! But I still go back, although I bring my own bananas now.

I haven’t had mozzarella sticks from a sonic that were this thoroughly cooked in so long. They gave me 2 marinara sauces - exactly what I needed. Wish there was happy hour at this location. My BLT wasn’t that great - lettuce & tomato’s seemed a bit limp.

Just went in for a cold frozen lemonade after a hot afternoon working on the boat. Very fast and friendly order delivery to the car. Perfect cool off and the happy hour drink prices were a bonus.

We always get good service from the folks at Sonic and this trip was no exception. Sadly though, one of our drinks was really bitter while another was incredibly sweet. Honestly, after sipping on them for over an hour, I poured one into the other and it was still on the bitter side ... but better. Four of six drinks got 👍👍 though.

My wife and I went to this location last night after coming off the road from out of state and wanted something quick to eat. When our order arrived everything was jacked up, burnt dry food and drinks not made right. I called for the manager and Mark came to my car. When I explained what the problem was he apologized and got on it quickly. Basically he made it right without excuses and I think people need to hear not only the bad things that happens when you get bad service, but when they make it right. Keep doing what you’re doing Mark.

Long wait time. No cherry on shake. Carhop was nice & apologetic. Unfortunately, she didn't carry any change on her person so had to go back in to get change. Food was ok.

This Sonic has been in town for a while now. Definitely not the worst Sonic I've been to, but more than a couple times our orders have been forgotten and we have had to wait over a half hour before receiving our food, which is usually still missing something. Not overly impressed, but the quality of their food is good when you do get it, so no complaints with quality of product, just more to do with quality of service.

An easy choice for fast food, but not completly reliable, I have had a couple issues in the past with poor service and slow delivery. Recently it has declined it popularity due to mistakes and health concerns with the food. None the less, if you're visiting the lake and want to grab a quick bite, this could be a good choice for you.

I cannot get a consistent blast from this location. I'm pregnant and have been craving these things for a while. I've been getting one at least once a week for several weeks. The first time, I asked for an oreo blast and they only sprinkled a little bit on top. They didn't even mix it in. I basically ate plain ice cream. Then I had several good M&M versions. I always asked for a mini blast and one time I ended up getting what appeared to be a large. It was just too much. Today, I received an M&M blast that is incredibly gritty. The ice cream feels like there's sand in it as if the machine isn't clean or there's ice chunks in it. I'm trying to eat the topping but I will end up having to throw it away. I love the blasts but it's just too inconsistent. I don't think I will be getting another one after this.

You might be able to get food here on a Saturday night if you can get the person taking your order to get off her phone. Dumbass forgets you can see them through the window. She had to praise to talk to her friend on the phone and kept messing up my order

Food is great but getting them to answer speakers so you can order was the worst and slowest of any fast food place I have ever been to. Waited at one Speaker for 11 minutes and although red buttons are blinking saying will be with you in a minute no one ever a answered speaker to take my order. Thought maybe Speaker might be broken so moved to another stall. After waiting for 7 minutes and finally Repeated pushing of button they took my order. They brought it out in less than 2 minutes. Go figure.

Get this poor kid some help! This is the 3rd time I've come to this location, and every time have had the worst experience. Once I even pushed the button and after 20 minutes of no response, drove off. And I usually LOVE Sonic! But after today, I understand a little more of why it's so bad at this location. The same kid who took my order, made it, and delivered it to my car. I saw no other car hops or people inside. No wonder after I pushed the red button it took 10 minutes for someone to answer! And there were only 3 other cars in the parking lot. But he was at least polite when my order of 1 single drink finally came to me 20 minutes after I initially parked.

Super faced paced, constantly... Very rude customer service. The manager was extremely polite the seasoning. And helped us tremendously with their order after the order taker completely messed it up. 3 times hung up and we had to press the button 3 more times and to calm down. If you can't be courteous find a new job that you don't have to deal with customers. And thank you to the manager who helped us out

The service was slow. My ice cream sundae was melting by the time it was given to me. The pecans on tip tasted bitter and old. My husband ordered a custard shake and they filled close to half of it with whip cream. They also messed up my son's custard shake and took even longer making a new one. This was not a good experience. People complain about this particular Sonic quite often. It is a hit or miss when we go there and we only go there now because it is close to our home. Now however I am tired of having to wonder about the food or timely service when I can just go somewhere else.

Updated 4/2022 no change. Took almost 20 minutes to get 2 drinks. Circa 2017... This location is so close to my house and so convenient, but they are always hit-or-miss on their customer service! The length of time to be served is 5-30 minutes. It doesn't seem to ever be consistently good or bad. The food usually tastes good, (except eggs, they are always over salty) and the drinks are always wonderful.

I'd ordered a burger meal and a extra long corny meal but I was give a chicken sandwich instead of an extra long corny. This is the second time my meal was messed up. Normally Sonic gets it right the first time. I guess I need to watch more closely next time.

Worst Sonic experience ever. Hot coffee was cold and stale. Brioche sausage breakfast sandwich was utterly disgusting and had no flavor. Breakfast burrito had brown eggs and no flavor. Waste of $25 and regretting our $2 tip. This place has really gone downhill.

2 stars was a gift only because the location USED TO BE better than this. When we moved into this area, this sonic was great. Quick service and correct orders. Everything you should expect with a friendly attitude. As of late, the service has been very slow and even a few times we were turned away because no employees showed up for work! I understand the hard times for everyone but to not have employees show up means something is seriously wrong with management. My most recent visit, I found a spot and pressed the red button. After waiting over 13 minutes just to be answered, the screen reset and told me to press the button AGAIN! That has never happened before where the button timed out. So I decided to leave without the milkshake and sonic blast I was going to get. I am disappointed that this location has gone downhill like this. I will mention the 1 employee I did see trying to get all the orders out BY HIMSELF. while the other employee I could see watched this young man do all of the running orders.

Sat there with the red button activated for almost 10 minutes while others came ordered got their food and left. Finally got out of my car and walked to the porch and ordered. The stall I was in I guess was out of order but not marked. I was almost late for work when I'm always 15 early with time to stop and order food. I gave my drink order 3 times and they lady taking the order snapped at me that she had it in correctly. When they brought my stuff out it was NOT correct at all and the sweet lady that brought it out took it back to fix it.

1 STAR Because it is the least i could put down we eat at sonic 3 times a week but this is not our normal location TEDO was very rude to my husband when he explained to him his food was cold and didnt look fresh Argued with him and did not return his food or money! There is ALWAYS a long wait here THIs is why we drive 20 mins up the street to go to a different LOCATION!! BUT WE WILL NEVER RETURN!

I'd give 0 stars if possible. Hit call button, after 5 minutes I moved to another one, nothing, people leaving left and right without orders, after almost 15 mintutes here to include my rambling, Im off to the next location at Main. Not sure what in the hell is going on with this location, but mgt. better wake up and get their store back on track before it turns into a taqueria. Which honestly, is probably for the best.

We went to sonic tonight to order some ice cream and decided on trying the new concrete options. I ordered a caramel snickers and my husband ordered the cookie dough. When we arrived home, we both discovered we have vanilla ice cream with about two pieces of the toppings within the ice cream. In both. Even for the mini sizes these items are not cheap and I feel like we were cheated. And this is not the first time we have had issues with the lack of toppings. I try to give places like this multiple visits just in case the bad experience I had was a one time deal but this time it looks like this particularly sonic has lost our business.

Worst sonic ever. The people who work here are the worst group of workers I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve given this location multiple chances to not screw up (since I live so close). If you order a simple large coke you will receive a small strawberry shake, medium fries would get you a chicken sandwich etc.I now drive twice as far just because this place is so terrible.

Drove up at 9:45pm hit the red bottom and waited for 10 min.. no one answered, looked around the parking lot there was only 3 cars plus mine so I knew they weren't that busy. Got out of my car and the walked up to the front window and I saw all the employees inside playing around even the manager was involved.. once he saw me at the window he got controlled of his employees.. someone finally answered and told me they were 10 to 15 min behind.. so we went ahead and placed an order. 30 min still no food. It's 11:30pm now and still nothing.. someone needs to get control of the place.. way to many kids working here.. this place needs to be reevaluated

This is is the worst sonic I have ever been to. The person that took my order made me repeat my whole order like four times and still got it wrong. I ordered my onion rings crispy and got them soggy and raw. I ordered 3 route 44 limeades and tgey where plain sprite. Our chick strips where stiff which means tgey where old. The service was bad and food was worst. I will definitely never come back to this sonic.

Have stopped here in the past and gotten the usual service for a Sonic. Tonight we stopped in and pushed the red button, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and so on. My wife even got out and tried the walk up menu, to no avail. No clue why they decided to be closed while open, but I can say I will not go there again. There is another Sonic 3 miles away and I will make sure they get my money from now on. Horrible service!

We had a simple order and we spent an HOUR waiting. From the time I pushed the button until my order arrived. Then I get no fork.... I also had to send them back because they hung up on my order before I could order my kids slush. The slushies were watered down.

This Sonic seems to ALWAYS be understaffed, I am about to leave waiting to just order for over 15 mins. They need to fix their staffing issues, it’s ridiculous to have this type of wait. I do not recommend this Sonic. It’s a shame it really close to my house.

The only word I can use to describe this experience is terrible. Absolutely terrible. We hit the red button and ordered like usual, and then waited almost 2 whole HOURS before we got our food. And when we did get our food, everything was messed up and cold! Please get new staff, or educate the ones you have, seriously. I don't know how this place is still open.

This place has the worst service!!!! Always out of something..... Out of anything mini or out of the mix for shakes.... IN THE SUMMER!!!! Across the street from a beach??!!!! Are you kidding??!!!! Some of the screens are down, doesn't matter where I park, the screen always seems to be down. Sometimes they are out of sauces or condiments.... Or maybe burgers!!! Or maybe they don't respond when you push the button or maybe when they come to the car they go back inside to get something and NEVER COME BACK! I have given them several tries to redeem themselves but they always screw up again!

Ordered two burgers and both were extremely salty. It was literally like putting my tongue on a cube of salt. I would've taken them back but with a newborn baby it's not very convenient making another trip. Tater tots were burnt. And they're super stingy with the sonic blast mix ins. It's basically just vanilla ice cream with a little crumbs.

Horrible. Greasy, nasty food. Slow as can be. Closes early and conveniently and consistently states their ice cream machine is broken towards last hour or two of when their supposed to be open. Seriously ....dont waste your time and skip this location. It could literally be hazardous to your health!

If i could rate a 0 i would. Waited 10 mins to order after pshing red button. And then 10 mins later they took my order then 10 minutes later still no slushie.. I order 1 freaking slushie i pulled off and left.... Then i came back about n hour later and waiting 5 mins for them to even respond back to me just to tell me it's gonna be a 20 minute wait on 1 slushie because there screen is full, there were MAYBE 6 or 7 cars there BS!!!!! Never will i return again

Wish I could give it zero stars. Pushed button to order, waited nearly 20 mins...button went off and no one ever answered. Sister went to ask manager for help and was given nothing but excuses. Was rude, never apologized for the very long wait even though there was only THREE cars in the lot to serve. Very bad customer service. Manager should learn to treat others as she would like to be treated. Never said sorry...and we are never going back.

Very unprofessional location. The person I was placing my order with didn't know what he was doing and instead of placing the speaker on mute to ask for help. He yelled over the speaker to someone and I could hear Everything they were saying as they were yelling back and forth. I ordered the wings. Chipotle and Garlic Parmesan. He got my order incorrect on the screen he put down Buffalo rather then Chipotle. And again yelled over the speaker for help. Very unprofessional. And by the time I got my order I was given Chipotle and Buffalo. NOT WHAT I ORDERED. I won't be going back to this location again. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT WORTH MY TIME OR MONEY.

Dont know why we do not learn our lesson. 30+ minutes waiting. Flagged down car hop, and she asked us what we ordered. If we had not paid with app, we would have left. Car hop just told us managers brother is new cook, and he is incredibly SLOW! They cant complain about him. Ridiculous! !!

Sodas from here always taste dirty. Have tried on two different occasions to get ice cream here. First time we waited over 10 minutes to have our order taken. After ordering it was another 25 minutes and still no ice cream so we left. Today, tried again.....waited 10 minutes and still no one had acknowledged us to take our order so we left. This part of LE needs another option so this place will close down and be out of its missery.

I wish I could give this place a zero star because that’s what they deserved. They are so rude and very unprofessional. The guy who’s taking the order is not even paying attention and taking for ever while his chuckling in the back ground and yelling. Who ever manages this place at night does a terrible job to put order to his employees, this is the second time this has happened. The food is worse and patties are burnt and food is cold. Please go spend your money where they will take care of you better and get better quality food for your money. This place is a ZOO, Not going back or want them handling my food again. The employees act like-there just going through the motions.

When ordering today at Sonic I encountered the worst worker and this happened many times at this location with the same worker. Every time when I order my food and she hears that my accent she comes out and acts like she doesn't understand me, but it doesn't make sense because with other works I don't have to deal with this. I don't know if she is deaf or this is an act of racism but I do not appreciate this behavior.

Got there pushed the red button. About a minute or so, a young African American wearing a headset walks up and says "What's up Boss man?" I placed my order with him. Large tater tots and a large strawberry cheesecake milkshake. Didn't write anything down, said Ok. About 7 minutes later, I pushed the button again and asked where my order was, I had to go. At first, it was like what order, then oh yea it's coming out in a minute. Told him never mind, and left.

I gave one star because I had to give a star in order to post a review not because they deserved that much credit. The last four times I went to this sonic my order was messed up. This most recent time I received 1/2 of what I ordered initially. Then after having to wait on the second half when I finally received it the order was wrong. Upon looking at my sandwich prior to eating it I noticed that only one small piece of bacon was place on the bottom bun and all three sandwiches I ordered for my family looked as if the where dropped on the floor due to the way they where constructed. One sandwich had enough catsup for two sandwiches, so much so that it was oozing down the bottom bun. Never again will I spend my money at this store/location.......

I arrived at Sonic at 945, hit the red call button and waited and waited. Finally got someone, they took my order and everything on the screen was correct. Car hop came gave me my order with drink leaking from the side, open the bad and looked at my order and it was incorrect. I got the red call button, manager came out and I told him the correct order. Correct on the screen, he came out to give me the order and I was thinking surely it's right since the manager is involved. I arriveded home at 10:30 and it was still incorrect.

Painfully slow. Took them over 5 minutes to respond after hitting the button, probably another 10 minutes to take our order (the woman was having a very hard time trying to figure it out and no real sense of urgency) and 15 minutes later....still waiting for food. Would have been faster to go to a sit-in restaurant.

I love sonic,but was disappointed at my last visit to this location.They got my order wrong! It was a rainy evening and I ordered chicken burger.To my horror, when I opened it at home, only to realise they gave me beef patty instead of chicken!! I dunno what was wrong in their kitchen that night, but I expect better service! The saving grace was when I called about their mistake, they immediately returned my money.But must say, the guy on phone never even apologized for the wrong order!

I'm a fan of Sonic, but this place is the worst. After placing my order and waiting 15 minutes, the carhop informed me that I was ordering from the only menu in the entire location that hadn't been updated. 20 minutes, still no food or update on the order. The gentlemen taking orders inside was on his phone throughout the entire exchange. Left after 35 minutes. Bummed this location is so unbelievably deficient.

Placed an order on the app ahead of time for 1/2 price drinks. Ordered it for "ASAP" time frame. Live just down the street and was there within 5 mins of ordering. Once I arrived I waited about 6-7 minutes for my order of 2 drinks w easy ice and an order of mozzarella sticks. The drinks had no ice, literally not one ice cube. They were also flat as could be, almost no carbonation at all. The hardest thing in fast food is apparently understanding what easy ice is. And the mozzarella sticks had no dipping sauce. This isn't the first time something like this has happened here. 3 items ordered, 3 items served incorrectly. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but seems like a trend at this location.

Matthew, his FANTASTIC ATTITUDE and high customer service level, was the ONLY redemption to my visit to this Sonic. My chicken sandwich was made incorrectly which I understand happens. THAT wasn’t what soured me on this location. Mikyla/Mikayla WAS! Her attitude is NASTY, mean and UNHELPFUL!! She actually hung up on me (using the on-site speaker) and sent Matthew back out to do HER JOB! She did this 3 TIMES! She’s rude to customers and other employees and should be moved to a job that isn’t customer facing. Matthew took it with a BIG smile and kind attitude. I hope you treat him well because he has to put up with HER and soothe the angry feelings she provokes!

Worst wait times of any Sonic I've ever been to in my life. I got here at 4:13 and am just now leaving with my order at 4:45pm. ATTENTION STORE MANAGER: Do something about that so your associates don't have to experience upset customers who were expecting reasonable wait times!! Or comp customers who wait more than 30 minutes because this is the final time I'll be here and I'm sure others won't be returning either because of this mess!

It's gross the area is trashy. I saw a rat running down the lot. My drink had mostly ice I thought this was the drink stop for America. When I made my order I hear kids cussing and yelling in the background. The bacon is burned all the time and taste like carbon. This was a good place 2 years ago but has really let its self go.

Don't even bother to stop by. Manager clearly doesn't care. I stopped by and they told me multiple times it would be a ten to fifteen minute wait. There is no one in the parking lot. Just fire The manager tear it down, use the spot for something better

We pressed the red button and waited 10 minutes to place our order before giving up and leaving. For the last 4 minutes of that we could hear someone breathing into the mic and background noise but when we tried to talk to them no answer. Wish we’d been able to even place our order while everyone around us was getting their food

I waited 20 minutes for a single drink that I never got. Asked for the drink or a refund as I needed to leave. The manager, young dude, came out with a complete attitude and proclaimed, Well, we're busy, with hand motions and attitude, and turned around and stormed off. It then took me calling the hotline number and waiting another 15 minutes before I even received a refund, to which I had to ask a carhpp while on the phone for it and they finally brought a receipt for the refund. I told the lady handling the complaint the best way to contact me was via email. There's nothing to this day, and it's been three weeks.

I’ve never had a good experience at this sonic. Last time I’ll come to this one. Order is constantly wrong and this is a pathetic excuse for a breakfast burrito. It’s just this location for some reason. Sad

Got home and figured out we did not have half of the order that we ordered called the number on the receipt get a busy signal can't even talk to anybody to fix the problem so now I'm going to have to go up there and talk to somebody and hope there is somebody there that can help

Do not try the smash burger. I really wanted to like it, but what I was given smelled, looked, and tasted like boiled patties. There was nothing thin or crispy about any part of the patty, including the edges. I couldn't even eat mine. I also ordered a dr pepper with extra ice and got a Pepsi with minimal ice. Small detail I can live with, with the burger was pretty awful.

Been here twice. This location has had the application down both times. They blamed the problem on my phone carrier this time. I would love to hear from the manager how I can place an order all over the state without issues.... except here. It fills the bag with items before issues checking out. Sounds like a restaurant connection issue to me.

On top of the long wait the food was absolutely disgusting and inedible. None of the food was fresh and had definitely been sitting for who knows how long. Overcooked and burnt. So bad I couldn’t even finish the meal it made my stomach turn. I have never had a really great experience at this location but this was by far the worst. I will not be back. It was a total waste of money. You are better off going to another drive thru.

The worst customer service experience ever, especially from the manager. My mother-in-law took our two children to get ice cream for the family at 8 PM, just 1.5 miles from our home, and they only arrived back at 9:30 PM. Just for 5 sonic blasts!! Despite ordering online beforehand so the ice cream would be ready, people who drove up to the window and ordered were served well before them. When she asked to speak to a manager, we were simply told, “well the ice creams are being made now”, by the manager who claimed well we get a lot of complaints when we are this busy. We ordered online! An hour wait for 5 sonic blasts is absolutely ridiculous. Get your stuff together. There was no attempt whatsoever to resolve the issue. My husband gave up on finding out when they would be home and went to bed. I am appalled that the manager did nothing to rectify the situation. I tried calling to express my dissatisfaction, but fortunately, they did not answer. I will be taking this issue to corporate. What was supposed to be a delightful evening for our family of six has left me so disappointed and fuming.

I'm sorry but when it's almost 7 AM and "Jenny" still isn't at work and the place isn't open it makes it hard. She wears her hair down so never know if there will be a hair in my food or drink. And they still don't wear changers. I took a picture of her hair being down and she came out shouting hateful remarks. The first picture was taken asst 6:55 AM. No one in sight. Second one her hair down. Taken on different days.

This used to be a great Sonic location the first dozen years I lived here. After a few bad experiences, I stopped coming for about a year. Tried again tonight and it was worse than ever. They've not only shrunk the chichen tender dinner, but got stuff wrong. They left out the ordered gravy and the included onion ring. The tenders are now shrunken overcooked dry pieces. The toast is not the advertised Texas toast. The large size dinner now only has a few token tater tots. It took two trips for the carhop to bring the missing items. I will continue to drive farther for the other location in town.

I keep trying this location and everyone I am disappointed. Today I ordered corndogs and they were soooo greasy you could tell they were refried multiple times. The outside wrappers were so gross and soaked in greasy. Not the sonic standard. My son was so disappointed. I won't return to this location. Not wasting anymore money.

This has to be the worst sonic I have ever been to. I went last Friday and there was a guy eating behind the counter and would put his food down, turn around, and grab tots/fries and put them on the line then start eating again.
