Great flavor and full sized portions with a reasonable price. I saw an ad on Facebook and had to come try it out. It's located across from the college nearby where I grew up so I didn't mind making a long trip to get there but I'm really happy to say that it was worth it because it was just what I was hoping it would be. A loaded breakfast burrito. I got the 2nd highest heat level, call mama. And yes, it's pretty hot. Still tasty but not for the weak. It did burn but I could still taste the other flavors so it's really balanced just right. The only thing is I wish the drinks were a little bigger. They do give free refills but the place is super busy for the entire time I was there. So, you almost have to time it out in between rushes to ask for a refill during these pandemic rules. You can't get your own.

Staff is super friendly! The chicken is crispy, spicy, and everything you would want in a chicken sammich. This place was pretty busy, I was going to get "hot" but they told me the medium was already pretty spicy and they were right! 😅

Love the chicken sandwiches. The spice levels are insane but they're great.. I enjoy them when super hot while others say they cant taste it I still do... their slaw is really good, they put it on their sandwiches and fries as well. still gotta try their breakfast but everything else is good, cluck and mac is also good.. must have at least once in your lifetime..

Had a late night crazing and this place did the trick! I ask anyone reading this to try their mac, tots and chicken bowl at least once. I will be back again to try the rest of their menu items, but this item sealed the deal for me!

Chicken is delicious, though very spicy. Definitely more spicy than I expected for mild. That being said, it was some of the best chicken I have ever eaten. Pickles and fries are good too, as is the sauce.

If you're feeling adventurous and enjoy chicken sandwiches, or just enjoy spicy goodness, this place hits the spot. Juicy, tender, no nonsense size of chicken, available in a variety of spice levels, perfectly balanced and delectable down to the very last bite. These guys have friend chicken down to a fine art. The sides complement perfectly. Be ready for a wait time (which considering is understandable) but 100% worth the wait. Bring your friends and revel in this perfect chicken sandwich.

I love this place. Very nice and friendly staffs and the food is so good! It’s fresh, tasty, and more flavorful than other chicken places or fast food chains (obviously). Nice decor, good parking! Best chicken shop in town!! My wife and I always order here whenever we work at our laundry store (Coco Laundry) on 7th St in Long Beach!

I think this is the best chicken shop in the area! It is hot, juicy, and delicious! The service was also extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place! I will be returning for sure

Always get the cluckin fries with mild heat it’s the best! Do not mix this up with the BLAZIN fries these are not the same.

Small place and the wait is moderate because they don't make it till you order it. Food was good but be careful how hot you get, medium had some kick and there are 3 hotter levels! Staff was very friendly and helpful. A great new addition to the neighborhood.

Fantastic time at Cluck & Blaze. Arrived around 7pm on a Friday, wasn’t super busy, COVID safety measures were in semi-effect—there were several moments a more concerned individual might get uncomfortable, but those moments were brief and I was already sitting outside before they occurred. Bathrooms were also open for washing hands, but you could easily get away with using the facilities. If this were a review strictly on safety protocol, they would get a 3 star review. Alas. This is about the food. I got the Chicken Meal #1 (chicken sandwich with pickles, slaw, and a thick chicken breast that didn’t completely fit on the bun. I got the second highest spice level, Call Your Mom, I think it was called. Also, mac n cheese. The spice wasn’t too hot—they give you a warning since it’s made with ghost, habanero, and I think scorpion peppers. For those accustomed to spice, you’ll sweat, but it won’t be super painful, all yum. The flavor profile reminded me of spicy ramen. Mac n cheese was tasty, but the TEMP heat combined with the FLAVOR heat of the chicken made it a little too painful to enjoy. Save for after, or brace yourself. Parking at this location isn’t great, but if you’re familiar with curb color laws in LB you’ll be fine.

First timer at Cluck & Blaze. Customer service was a 10/10 Food 10/10 I ordered Cluckin’ Mac & Chicken w/a raspberry lemonade (~$16). The raspberry lemonade could have had a bit more flavor to it but it was still refreshing. I will def be back bc the food is delicious, I got non spicy chicken but next time I’ll try something with some heat. 2 things I really like about this place…they text you when your order is ready and they take Apple Pay. Sandwiches were extremely flavorful and juicy! Don’t pass up on their Blazin’ Fries with their comeback sauce! Dine-In area is clean and the customer service here was excellent as well. As far as my hot chicken sandwich experiences go thus far in life, this place has made it to my Top 3 hot chicken sandwich spots.

Husband and I really enjoyed our food! A little bit salty but the coleslaw evened it out. Honestly I'm not a big fan of coleslaw but this paired great with the chicken sandwich! The chicken was HUGE! It definitely kept me filled up for the ride home. The Mac & Cheese noodles were also thick which I really liked because it makes it that more fulfilling. I just want to add that Julia was such a sweetheart and I wish we had time to stay and eat because she lights up the place! Next time I think I'd want to kick up the heat but I was worried it might be too spicy for the drive back, haha. If we're ever in town for longer I would go again! Thank you for serving us!

Unfortunately the OG place we tried was legit horrid (tasted like straight cayenne powder with absolutely no flavor), so not gonna lie we were hesitant to give hot chicken a try again. Cluck n Blaze Caught our eye with their crazy sandwiches and burritos so we finally pulled the trigger and we are SO GLAD that we did! Like WOOOOWWW!!! Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE flavors, crunch, juiciness, spice, EVERYTHING! They seriously saved hot chicken for us and have been OUR FAVORITE that we've tried, as we've tried a couple more spots since, but cluck n blaze continues to out perform all others! We ordered the Plan B and the Breakfast Burrito "Jerry Style" and damn that comeback sauce is so freaken addicting! We've been multiple times and every time that cook on that chicken "slaps" as the kids say these days! We've also had their loaded tacos and mac n cheese with chicken as well!! Our fav was the Plan B and Jerry Style Burrito for sure, but also LOVED the large chicken inside the tacos! We can't recommend Cluck & blaze enough! We will tell you that they have taken a concept from Nashville and MASSIVELY out performed the OG place! They are a MUST if you like flavorful, juicy, crispy chicken with a kick! Random note: We were in town and had won their Thanksgiving giveaway for the Nashville turkey... YYYYEEESSSSS!!! Can't believe HOW WELL the flavors seeped into the juicy crispy turkey! Atmosphere was clean and staff seem to be happy. I really think the burrito will provide a nice anchor for their business. There’s a rise on Nashville hot chicken and it’s gonna be everywhere but this burrito really makes a spotlight for this cluck n blaze.

The chicken was pretty good, the staff seem nice, the fries I could live without not a fan of twice fried, but the tenders were spicy not to hot just right with a sweet under tone. The comeback sauce was descent but the crimson cowards in Downey was the best so far all in all I give it a solid 4 banger ✊🏾

It tastes great. We got our order really fast (they text you when it’s ready) and they had great social distancing for their workers as you order through a mic. The chicken breast was giant. They added a bit too much sauce as the sandwich was falling apart, maybe a little less and they just give us sauce on the side if we want more? Anyways the reason it’s getting 4-stars is cause the cups were so freaking small. How am I supposed to enjoy a “hot” chicken sandwhich if my drink i so desperately need to survive the heat is sized for children, especially at that price. Had the SideChick dual sandwich combo. And just when I thought I had the heat consumption under control; I went a little to hot. Nice sandwich you got there; be a shame if something were to happen to it. Following day 2nd round tasted just as good as well cause I leave no sandwich left behind. The mac & cheese was super creamy and not mushy. Super impressed all the way around and I won't wait so long next time to make me way back.

You can also ask for a tot and fry mixture if you can't make a choice between spud presentation as well. The staff was friendly and the dining area was pretty clean. There's only one restroom so you may be waiting if the restaurant is crowded. Went during the 8:00pm hour and the wait for one sandwich was around 30-45 minutes as they were dealing with a backlog of delivery orders and a line of 10 people which some customers left due to not wanting to wait that long for their order.

I'm usually very happy with this place but I feel like the quality has gone down and was disappointed today. My chicken tasted burnt and both my fries and sandwich was served at nearly room temperature even though I picked it up as soon as it was ready.

Update during my visit May 2024: Sadly, they no longer offer banana pudding or any desserts here. The location was running on a skeleton crew when I ordered from here… one chef and one employee to do literally everything else. The food is no longer something special, but it looks like they added a “light” option for their mild heat… which is good, because the mild was nearly too spicy for me. Unfortunately I will not be returning… their prices have increased and their quality has really gone down. Many better places around Long Beach. Sad… this place was really popping off when I first discovered it. _____________ All around amazing place to eat. My favorite is the banana pudding. Mild heat for me is almost too hot, and it wrecks my bowels, but it's totally worth it. The sauce and coleslaw are a fantastic combo on their sandwich.
