Avis sur Yardbird Los Angeles
My boyfriend and I had an early dinner here and our waitress was Shawonna (so sorry about the spelling)! She was extremely hospitable, funny, and engaging! One of the best waitresses I’ve ever had :) My boyfriend got the American Wagyu burger which he said was quite possibly the best burger he’s ever had! I got the wedge salad with crispy chicken. The ingredients were all so fresh and the portions were super generous. We had the fried Oreos for dessert which did not have the typical overpowering sweetness that the dish typically has. All in all it’s a 10/10 and ask for Shawonna if she’s there! You won’t regret it.
Yardbird was amazing again. I’ve tried it back in Vegas and was super excited to see they’re in LA. Our server Brian was wonderful, food is always amazing.
We had such a great experience at Yardbird. Our waitress made us feel completely at home from the moment we sat down. She offered thoughtful suggestions, and every single one was a hit. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service made the whole meal feel even more special. We’ll definitely be back.
I've been coming here for years, and whoever I bring here and I always have such a great time. They're so attentive and the food is DELICIOUS. Make sure to come here hungry, though, 'cause you're gonna be full for the rest of the day. Shoutout to my oftentimes server Zula, who works Sunday mornings and is the best :)
Started with skillet cornbread and green beans, both were divine. Make sure to put that bourbon maple syrup on the cornbread, finger licking good. Fried chicken was crispy and seasoned well. Creamy shrimp and grits need to be relabeled as "dry shrimp, lots of bell peppers and grits", nothing creamy about the grits and there were way too many bell peppers in this southern dish. All was made perfect due to our server Shujana, she brought a beautiful smile and caring spirit to the table. I appreciate her kind words while paying way too much for the subpar food. Thank you Shujana!
Awesome place in all! Awesome staff, awesome drinks, awesome food awesome environment, beautiful and cool decor, even the bathroom and back waiting room are beautiful and most definitely without question very very clean!!! Definitely recommend!!! Can be super dressy or super comfy! For all aesthetics! 🤘🏻 P.S. Excuse the fact that I did not take pics of the full restaurant I was actually there kind of incognito and didn't want to make a big scene about taking pics.
My husband, sister in law, and I recently dined at Yard Bird for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The service was stellar. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. My husband got the Peanut Butter Bourbon and LOVED it. The food was drool worthy. From the skillet corn bread, to the bone marrow pot pie, and shrimp n’ grits, it was all amazing! The restaurant was gorgeous inside and super clean. We will definitely be back!! 👏
Went last year for my birthday. The waitress was very kind and friendly, we got there close to closing unfortunately that was the only time my friend and I could meet to go since she worked late. Thankfully the fact that we got there so close to closing didn’t take away from the quality and flavor of the meal or experience! I appreciate the staff for their kindness and service! The drinks were delicious. My friend got the Shrimp and Grits and I got the Sweet Tea Braised Short Rib. We got an order of their Yardbird chicken wings which were amazing!! We got drinks but I can’t remember what sorry! I got a mock-tail since I was pregnant at the time.
Incredible Southern comfort food with an upscale twist! The lobster mac and cheese was rich and indulgent, while the braised short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The blackened salmon was bursting with flavor. Great atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for hearty, delicious meals in a stylish setting!
Been in this restaurant for couple of times. Went back with my mom and I’m craving for something. I finally ordered their famous fried chicken and waffles. And I had my delicious refreshing passion fruit juice 👍🏻 our server Nicky was the best. He was attentive and such a friendly person. And of course everyone who works there are nice too. It was a busy Saturday but I enjoyed our brunch. Keep up the good work to all the Yardbird staffs 👍🏻
I had dinner with friends here and it was great. Our server was incredibly friendly. We had the chicken and waffles, the short ribs and the Mac and cheese. The 3 dishes tasted amazing, great quality of the ingredients. I’d definitely come back to try the Brussels sprouts that looked very good. We also had the key lime pie, which had great flavor, perfect balance of acidity and sweetness.
Great atmosphere, excellent service. Best fried chicken I’ve had in LA - brined for 27 hours, making even the white meat still ultra juicy. The crunch and flavor was incredible as well. I really enjoyed the waffles as well, great with their house bourbon maple syrup. Chicken & Waffles was a huge portion too - you get a half a chicken and a whole waffle. Sweet tea braised short rib was incredibly tender. Biscuits were very good, especially with the honey butter and housemade jam. Would definitely come again.
I was at the Beverly Centre shopping and wanted something local for dinner. Yardbird looked interesting and chicken and waffles felt perfect for a rainy afternoon in LA. It was a holiday so the place was nearly empty. My server was friendly but not overly attentive, I would have liked a refill on my drink. The chicken and waffles were excellent. The chicken was good but the waffles were the star for me. The portion was HUGE and could easily have fed 2 people. I’d like to return with my husband
One of the dinner celebrations for my birthday and it didn't start off very well. We sat down quickly. It was not busy at all. But it took about 10 minutes for someone to come speak to us and another 30 minutes for drinks. On top of that, we saw multiple tables receive their drinks and food before we received ours, which took a very long time, even for the appetizers to start coming out I don't put this on the fault if the waitress. In fact, Syretha did everything in her power to fix the problem and make my birthday special and we were all very grateful for her and her service. The food was great. Deviled eggs delicious and fluffy and flavorful. Cornbread was exceptional with that butter. The roasted chicken was very well seasoned as well as the brussel sprouts and my kids said the short rib was one of their best. My one issue was the dirty rice. I'm unsure what kind of meat was in the rice but it was not listed as such on the menu and I didn't end up eating it. The green beans were great too. We also enjoyed all of our drinks and the key lime dessert Syretha offered for my birthday. Would definitely go back, in spite of the issues because we really enjoyed the food and let the kitchen know on our way out the door.
My bf and I came to try the fried chicken and the happy hour around 5:15 Thursday pm. Happy hour menu had a lot of great food and drink options. We got the bourbon lemonade and aperol spritz. I would definitely order the bourbon lemonade again. For food we got the chicken satay (skewers) both fried and grilled. They each came drizzled in different sauces, my bf preferred the Nashville which was a more traditional low heat fried chicken. We also got the “burnt ends” disco fries. So coming from NJ these were a lot like traditional disco fries with the cheese and gravy. The burnt ends were definitely NOT burnt ends. They were more like small cubed stewed brisket which could be because of the gravy. We would not get again as I was looking for that more traditional bbq flavor and texture. We split the fried chicken entree since it was a generous portion. The chicken was very crispy and while extremely moist, we both felt like it was missing seasoning before it was fried. We tried it but for the price $36, not sure I’d get it again. I think we would come back but maybe try some other options from their extensive menu. Service was friendly, pretty consistent and attentive as we sat at the bar and it was mostly empty in the entire restaurant.
I dined in on Saturday night and it wasn’t too packed so I didn’t need to wait. It’s very nice and lovely restaurant. I ordered the steak and fries which both came out really good. And I had the watermelon cocktail drink which was pretty good for a casual drink. Over all was a good experience.
We got takeout from here, food was still warm when we got it. Only about 20-30 min wait. Would highly recommend the sides (corn and green beans) - they were probably the best part of the meal. I would go back just for that corn. The chicken was really good, but not exceptional. We didn’t really like the drunk rice that came with the chicken. The only real downside to this restaurant is how crazy expensive it is. It was well over $100 for 3 people who didn’t eat very much.
When I say a time was had, that’s exactly what I mean not only was the food amazing. The service was just as amazing. We ordered bottomless mimosas and the champagne was flat. No worries the Manager to the rescue when I say The manager went behind the bar and popped open a new bottle of champagne and made the drinks himself when I say top-tier top-tier the atmosphere was fun. We were a little noisy because we were there for a birthday celebration and they completely accommodated us. The food was amazing. Everything was out in a timely fashion. I had the most amazing time ever I definitely would recommend this place
I’ve been here several times, and the menu and quality are consistently the same. The food is above average at best, which is generally what you expect in LA. Most dishes are clearly pre-cooked and reheated. The mashed potatoes and chicken were warm rather than hot — seemingly a signature of this place. The deviled eggs were not fresh and had that unmistakable aftertaste of food that’s been refrigerated for days, not hours. The ribs were fairly okay, nothing memorable. The waitress was genuinely good, but good service doesn’t compensate for overpriced food that isn’t fresh as expected from similar overhyped places.
The place was pretty empty when we arrived, it was our first time at this location. We’ve enjoyed other locations in Chicago and Las Vegas, but the service here didn’t quite meet the same experience. The service was average, though I really appreciated the gluten-free options. Our waiter forgot to bring our drinks, but we didn’t want to bring it up. Overall, it was an okay experience.
Food was great especially the dessert and appetizers however our main dishes were room temperature and my sandwich was very very soggy. We arrived 2:16PM, nobody was at the reception. We seated outside and were the only table outside. So we waited 15 mins to get our order and water and thought the waitress seemed to be not in a good mood until I saw her having a great conversation and warm welcome to the new table behind us. And they got their water and food much faster than us :/ She was not rude to us and we were very polite and I kept saying thank you for every time she came to us so it’s hurtful. Overall could’ve been much better if our mains were served hot and the service didn’t match with the 22% mandatory tips.
I'm a big fan of Yardbird at their Las Vegas location, so I was excited to find out they had a spot near the Beverly Center and it also has a dog-friendly patio. That was a huge plus for me since I love bringing my furry buddy along. The good: super friendly staff, beautiful interior design, and that cozy outdoor space that's perfect for pups. The not-so-good: the food was a major letdown compared to the Venetian location. The popcorn shrimp were tiny, overly battered, and chewy ($20, 1 star). The Asian chicken sandwich, despite using their signature fried chicken, was honestly one of the worst fried chicken sandwiches I've had in a long while ($28, 1 star). And the BBQ plate? Just okay ($45, 2 star). For the price, the whole meal felt underwhelming and forgettable. Sadly, I won't be rushing back to this location anytime soon.
