We celebrated my son’s Dads Birthday and the food was delicious, the service was on point. This is one of my son’s favorite places to eat and drink a COLD ONE, I even ordered a frozen Margarita that was to die for!!! The Fried Pickles and Onion Rings Hit the Spot!!! I highly recommend Bubbas in McAllen for those of you that are looking for great service, Delicious Food and COLD BEER!!!

The pizza, wings, & fries were so good! Victor the manager was walking around, checking on the tables to make sure everything was as it should be. Our waiter Nate was on top of everything, so we never had to ask for refills! We also appreciated that the evening atmosphere was still family friendly. We will be back!

Our server Jorge was great. He was very attentive and quick. The food was honestly very good. Food was also very fresh. Overall amazing experience. The only thing that I didn't like was that it was a bit loud, but to be fair, the only seats available were by the bar. I must also add that it was Sunday and there were football games on.

You don’t have to wonder very hard why this restaurant is always so busy. Me and my family have become regulars (as in every Friday night) because the food is always great, the beer is always cold, and the service is top notch! Ruben always takes exceptionally great care of us. We never have to ask for anything because he’s always one step ahead making sure our glass is never empty and we have everything we need. He’s a professional and knows how to take cake of his guests. The managers are also awesome, always stopping by to say hello and following up on food and service quality. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! We love Bubba’s 33!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and fun, but what really made the visit unforgettable was the outstanding service from Manager Victor. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—checking in on our table, making sure our food came out hot and fresh, and treating us like valued guests the entire time. It’s rare to see a manager so involved and genuinely caring about every customer’s experience, but Victor set the bar high. The food was amazing, the drinks were on point, and the service was top-notch. I can honestly say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Huge thanks to Victor and the team at Bubba’s 33—you’ve definitely earned a loyal customer!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! Alejandra helped me out and she was incredibly kind and welcoming. She went above and beyond by offering me some coupons for my next visit, which I really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of flavors and portions that left me more than satisfied. The desserts were amazing — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I also loved the beverages; they were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable, and the service was top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Great food and great atmosphere. Although i feel like we were rushed a bit for some reason, the flavor of the food definitely makes up for this because it was just so good. We tried the burger, the pizza, the pasta, fried pickles, and a dessert. While we ate, we enjoyed some eventful basketball games that were going on. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to other people.

Great experience! We were attended to and acknowledged immediately. When sat, our waitress took our drink order and served us quickly; even other employees (including the manager) checked on us to make sure we were alright. When the food arrived, IT WAS DELICIOUS! My beef patty and my wife's chicken were both juicy and savory. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back.

8-29-25 First visit today for lunch. My wife ordered Blackened Bleu Burger with fries. Said the burger was good, but the bacon was severely undercooked. I ordered Chicken and Bacon Mac n Cheese. The cheese blend is good, could have a bit more but there is enough to cover the mac. There is a rich bacon flavor throughout the dish. You get that bacon taste even when there is none on the fork. There is plenty of chicken as well, but you might not want to stir, or it all can end up in the middle of the bowl. It comes with a piece of bread, that can be good, if you eat it while it is hot. I am not a big bread eater, so left it for last to taste, and realized that was a mistake. Waitstaff was pleasant, and checked on us often. The only other negative I can comment on is the music. We were in the bar, and the music was too loud to try to have a conversation without feeling like we were talking to everyone there. At one point the waitress came over to speak with us, and we could only guess at what she was saying, we couldnt hear her at all

I have to be honest that I really like Bubba’s 33 food, just about everything is great, but today’s experience was not nice. I invited a friend for his first time and for his birthday, and informed the server from the very start about my birthday friend who was there with his wife and his son, as well as my wife. At least three times I kept reminding the server about the birthday courtesy and we waited even after I paid the ticket but never showed up. Great atmosphere for watching the game. Food is fine. Wings are their strong point. Service leaves a lot to be desired.

DO NOT ORDER THE STEAK!!! We’ve gone twice. I ordered the steak both times because I decided to give them another chance. The first time, I asked for medium rare and they gave it to me well done. The second time I asked for medium rare as well and they gave it to me well done again. This time I decided to let the waiter know. He went back and they gave me another piece of steak. This one was extremely rare. I opened it up and it was dark Purple! Not pink. Not even red. Literally purple. I told him it was fine, that I’d just cook it at home and he said he would take it back. When he returned the steak was well done again. I gave up. Just problably will never return and I will be telling people not to order the steak there or not to go at all. The steak plate was about $23 and I was not offered a discount, or a return or refund. Paid full price and didn’t even eat it. Ridiculous. Will not be returning. Picture for reference of the 3rd time he brought it back. I cut it in strips to see the inside. I don’t see any pink. I just took it home didn’t eat any on the restaurant.
