Delicious food, generous portions, excellent service, and they are a socially responsible business, as they purchase many of their ingredients from local vendors at the San Benito market. They also support 35 entrepreneurial women from southern Mérida by using some of the jams they make through the venture they have been promoting for a year, which will soon become a cooperative.

Food was ok, but we ordered dishes, then were first told that there are no eggs for making fried eggs, only scrambled. Then, we got another dish that was supposed to come with sausage and it wasn't there. After asking, we were told they don't have sausages, and we can have something else. All in all, felt like a bit of a mess. Very ask in advance if they have all you've ordered. On the upside, food was tasty, and they were friendly.

The Frenchy Toast was excellent, as well as the chicken and hotcakes. Our two friends also enjoyed their breakfasts. Coffee is refillable and tasty, and refilled without having to ask.

I tried the Huevos Motuleños and it was delicious. Belizean would describe it as 3 garnaches with beans, sunny side up or over easy eggs with ham, cheese, tomato sauce, plaintain, etc. There was only one waitress, working very hard of course, but she managed to still take care of us.

Eggs for my American breakfast were runny and undercooked. The bacon was also strange and undercooked. My friend had a good burger. The fries were good. I would not go again.
