Large portions, great value for Miami spice. We got povolone and blood susage for appetizers; NY strip and flap steaks for entrees; and flan and caramel crepe for desserts. Appetizers and entrees were more outstanding than desserts imo. Service was excellent, which made me happily pay for the mandatory gratitude.
An exceptional Argentinian steakhouse experience. The steak was cooked perfectly to order, with food quality and presentation that were truly exemplary. Service matched the elegance of a white tablecloth setting—professional, attentive, and refined. Every bite was delicious, making this a standout dining experience.
The restaurants are good, just like all of them; they have good service, and the place is quite cozy.
Reserved seating for 12 last night for my wife’s birthday and everything went perfectly. The servers super attentive, the place was very mellow and warming. The food was spectacular. I believe the best Argentinian steaks I’ve ever had. We had a variety of meats; Filet Mignon, Skirt Steak, Flap Steak and man it was just extremely satisfying. The BBQ pork ribs was spectacular as well. To put it short words, this is the place to come eat in Coconut Grove whether it’s a date, social setting, or family dinner, you won’t be disappointed. We will for sure be back to try other items on the menu. I wish I had taken more pictures of the food but it was that good. Thank you La Cabrera 🙏🏾
We celebrated our friend Lily’s birthday and it was short of perfect. The host was very accommodating ( we had no reservations) , our server Lautaro was very attentive and helpful and even the GM Gaston took the time to check in with us and gave us complementary treats. Now, the food was delicious ( empanadas , langostinos , chicken brochetas, pesto pasta and the ribeye…) but the drinks at least my Sofia Loren cocktail was an absolute unforgettable experience! I will definitely recommend to friends and family , and we are looking forward to visit again !
Outstanding service, so sweet and very accommodating. Staff was warm and inviting, reminding us of Argentina!! The food was on another level!!! Delicious and so so so fresh!!! The Argentinian cut steak is a must, melts in your mouth…. trust me on this! The manager paired our steak with a delicious red wine called yacochuya from the region cafayate valley, Argentina. He absolutely nailed it! Wonderful experience and will definitely be back❤️
I had a fantastic experience here! The location is great, easy to find and with a nice vibe around the area. The restaurant itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere — perfect for a nice dinner out. The meat was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and high quality. On top of that, the service really stood out. Ari took great care of us — super attentive, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back!
Great experience! Came here with my brother on his birthday on April 13th and he had an amazing time. Manager came by to say hbd, food was on point as well as the wine. Thanks for making my brother’s birthday special!
I had an amazing dining experience at La Cabrera in Coconut Grove! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making us feel like we were dining in someone's home in Argentina. Our server, Juan, was fantastic—his recommendations were spot on and added so much to the meal. We started with the Provoleta Completa, which was delicious, followed by tender Pulpo (octopus). The Cowboy Chuleton was a highlight—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Souffle Gnocchi was a delightful surprise, and we ended with the Torta Vasca and Flambeed Pancakes, both of which were the perfect sweet finish. From the food to the service, everything was exceptional. The entire staff went above and beyond, making us feel like family. Highly recommend La Cabrera for anyone looking for authentic Argentinian cuisine and a memorable dining experience!
La Cabrera in Coconut Grove is an absolute gem, delivering a dining experience that lingers long after you’ve left. From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed into a warm, lively atmosphere, with ambient lighting and cozy seating that instantly makes you feel at home. The restaurant’s authentic Argentine charm and décor create the perfect setting to indulge in its rich culinary heritage. The menu is a celebration of Argentina’s finest offerings, with each dish carefully crafted to highlight bold flavors and quality ingredients. The star of the show is, without a doubt, the steak—cooked to absolute perfection. The tenderness and flavor are simply unmatched, with every bite melting in your mouth. They also offer an impressive range of sides and appetizers that truly elevate the meal, from savory empanadas to chimichurri-drenched veggies, each dish plated beautifully and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the New York Strip with melter blue cheese, I ordered the Filet Mignon, and we shared mashed potatoes, a salad, and other small bites. We ended up with the Dulce de Leche hotcakes We did not order wine this time, but they have an impressive wine list to choose from and to pair with your meal. A huge shoutout to Giancarlo, our server, whose service was nothing short of outstanding. His warm, attentive approach made us feel like VIPs, and his deep knowledge of the menu brought each dish to life. Giancarlo’s recommendations were impeccable, and his genuine passion for the restaurant’s offerings enriched our experience immensely. It’s rare to encounter such a dedicated server who goes above and beyond to ensure your night is memorable. Whether you’re a steak aficionado or simply looking for a place with heart, warmth, and incredible food, La Cabrera is a must-visit destination in Coconut Grove. We left feeling like we’d just experienced a little slice of Argentina, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you, Giancarlo, for an unforgettable evening! There is plenty of paid parking around the restaurant. The bill already includes 18% gratuity, but I decided to leave more. I would say this restaurant is a $$$$ since it was only two people and no wine was ordered.
Best place for steak, the service is friendly. recommended wine is excellent, everything is great!
The experience was exceptional, with attentive service provided by all staff members. Ari's detailed explanation of the menu was particularly commendable.

A beyond amazing experience and our Mesero Juan was beyond amazing. The quality a Michellin Star indeed. The quality, service and experience amazing 👏. Highly recommend it. The octopus portion was a hidden secret and more than enough to eat and share!
Great place! Our server Jimena was fabulous!! Definitely try the Pork Sausage & Special Grilled Argentinian Provolone. The sauces they give you to pair with make every bite different. If they have the Picanha Steak - that is a must order. Best value you’ll ever get at a steakhouse! Definitely recommend!
Awesome place for an amazing meal, in great atmosphere and decor. The cowboy steak, or Tbone, Ribeye and so on. Pasta and fish are also memorable. Best of all, the Manager Claudia always looking out for excellence, and today we were treated by ximena with her endless smile along with the rest of the team. Definetly a returning place. I have been to both and consistency is perfect.
We had an Amazing time at La Cabrera Coconut Grove celebrating our friends birthday . The food is amazing , reasonable price and the service was the best . Lucas was our server and he took care of 10 of us, very kind and funny . We had the VIP room perfect for the celebration . They gave us a complimentary wine bottles so that was very nice of them . The manager came by to make sure all was good . The location is beautiful!!! We will go again for sure . Thank you
This is an excellent Argentinian steak house. Ambiance, service and food are all excellent. We were a large group on a Saturday afternoon. Tried several dishes: molleja, morcilla, empanadas, steamed brócoli, filet mignon, New York strip steak, skirt steak, crème brûlée. All were excellent. It’s a place worth to repeat. Excellent for families. A little bit too costly.
La Cabrera Coconut Grove exceeded our expectations with its amazing food and warm ambiance, but what truly made our evening special was the outstanding service from Nicolas, our waiter. From the moment we sat down, Nicolas was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations, ensuring that our meal was nothing short of perfect. His friendly personality and impeccable attention to detail really stood out and made us feel like VIPs. The food was delicious – the steaks were cooked to perfection, and the sides were bursting with flavor. We will definitely be returning, and we hope to be served by Nicolas again!
We had an amazing time at La Cabrera in Coconut Grove! The place is beautiful, and the food was incredible. Everything we tried, from the appetizers to the entrees and even dessert, was delicious. Our server, Eli, was fantastic. She was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus, they were so kind to give us complimentary wine and appetizers, which was a lovely touch. We can't wait to go back to La Cabrera. If you're in Coconut Grove and looking for a great dining experience, definitely check this place out!
I have been here twice, on 2 occasions, one for dinner and one for lunch. Both times the food, the service and the atmosphere were all very good, surpassing my expectations, since there are a lot of Argentine steakhouses restaurants in Miami, but this restaurant is above and beyond. The cuts, the variety, the sides selections, and the restaurant own signature dishes were outstanding. The service and attention of the whole staff was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend
We had an amazing time. My wife is Argentinian and very picky when it comes to meat … she gave this place an A+!! We’ve frequented the original La Cabrera in Palermo and this one is up to par. Ari, our waitress, was incredible! The whole service generally was truly incredible - a breath of fresh air for Miami. Exceptional experience and would highly recommend.
We loved the service, food and ambiance at La Cabrera! Highly recommend the restaurant!
The food was fantastic. Filet minion was perfectly cooked. The flan….delicious. Ari our server was professional, sweet and efficient. When we return we will certainly ask for her. Very good vibes. ALWAYS a plus for a restaurant that is just beginning. Definitely a place we will return to. The details are very very nice and different. Ari again, was awesome!
Best place to get a good steak, great service. Ari and Antonella were part of that amazing experience. If you are looking for great service and great food in Coconut Grove, this is the place. Portions are huge !!!
Surprised by the quality of meat! I can’t recall a better rib eye steak….cooked to perfection! Finally a restaurant in Miami that understands a medium rear ( my steak) and a medium well ( my wife’s) Service was super professional and attentive. Thank you!
One of the best dinners i had. Samplers were amazing steak was the best Ive had and i been to Nusrets, Komodos, Kiki, all the the overpriced restaurants. The prices are amazing and the place is amazing vibes. Service was amazing i was constantly checked on. Would go again. Best around coconut grove and miami!
The food is amazing, but the real highlight is the bar service. Gabriel, the mixologist, is phenomenal—his recommendations are spot on, and his attention to detail is next level. And the meat? Absolutely outstanding.
If you’re serious about steak, La Cabrera Miami in Coconut Grove needs to be on your list. From the moment we walked in, everything felt elevated but still warm and inviting. The provoleta was the perfect cheesy start, and the octopus? So tender and flavorful, I had to close my eyes for that first bite. We sipped on Red Schooner Voyage 12 while enjoying table-side service of their short ribs, entraña, and a cowboy ribeye that was carved on a salt block—so dramatic, and so worth it. Even the sides like mashed potatoes, veggies, and fries hit the spot. The dessert sampler was the sweetest ending, we were obsessed. It’s no surprise they’re one of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants. Definitely recommend for date night or when you’re in the mood to treat yourself.
Best service is at the bar! The meat is the star here. The red meat is the star here but the provoleta is a must try if you like cheese. Excellent cocktail menu. 5 stars
Service was awesome and the people the work here are so genuine. They were punctual when it came to waiting for our entrees and the food was delicious! Ari was a great help!!
Great restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Our server, Gian, was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. He made us feel very welcome and took care of every detail. I will definitely return soon. Thank you, Gian!
We came here for Miami Spice week and the food was amazing!!Claudia and Hugo were phenomenal! The ambience was very family oriented, I recommend this place.
We choose the place randomly but like not so many times, it exceeded our expectations, amazing experience, the food, the wine, the desserts. The icing on the cake, was our waitress, Ariana, she made us feel VIP :) thanks!!
I came in from out of state and decided to dine here last minute and I’m so glad I did! They have exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and our server went above and beyond to accommodate us without a reservation.
Our experience at La Cabrera was fantastic! We enjoyed a delicious dinner, and Ari, our server, was very professional and attentive, making our guest experience outstanding. Highly recommended!
La Cabrera Steakhouse is truly a five-star dining experience, and our wonderful server Ari made it even more memorable! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a delightful evening with awesome food!
The Ny steak was excellent and the proper temperature. I recommend the mushroom with chimi with it. Ari, our server, was great as well.
It was delicious, steak was on point! Ari and Gisel helped us a lot and we couldn’t be more grateful, will be back!!!!
La Cabrera has become my favorite spot in Coconut Grove. The food is delicious and the bartender, Ayrton, goes out of his way with the great service and great selection of wines. The place has an intimate feel to it and dining at the bar is a great experience.
Love this place for their food, hospitality and their interiors. Nicholas was our waiter and did an amazing job. Very flavourful collection of sides were provided on the house along with the ordered meats. Highly recommend.
Well Cooked steak, mac n cheese was good. Ambiance is cool, laid back. Good wine good service what else can you ask for.
such a classy, delicious, and wonderful experience with top tier service. Juan was amazing and the food was a 10/10. get the octopus!!
The food was spectacular and the atmosphere is very eclectic. Our server Ari was amazing! She’s very personable and took care of us very well. Very hard working and kind!
Great service and good food! Our servers Ari & Giselle were amazing!
Dining at La Cabrera in Coconut Grove was a delightful experience. Cozy and inviting atmosphere. Our server Juliana was very attentive and friendly. The filet mignon and entraña were cooked to perfection. Yes! I totally recommend it.
Loved our dinner at La Cabrera. My husband had been to La Cabrera in Argentina and he fell in love with it. We came for the first time, Juan Manuel was our server and he made our dinner so special. He hear me complementing someone's cocktail and came back with the same drink, Sofia Loren, on the house which took our experience to a whole new level. 5 stars in food, ambiance and service.
I had the Ribeye steak and it was absolutely delicious—very juicy and perfectly served. My server, Gabriel, gave me a great recommendation, and it turned out to be excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. I loved everything about the experience!
The food is amazing and the service was great! Emilio was so kind and funny.
First time at La Cabrera. We had a wonderful lunch along with great cocktails (the desserts are first class). The service was fenomenal with our server, Ariana. Highly Recommend this establishment!
Ari was absolutely so sweet and helpful with the service. She described everything so well and gave us delicious suggestions that we were very happy with. Will be back for sure.
There’s no reason to have a barbecue grill anymore. These are great cuts of meat and they cook them to perfection. I used to think nobody else could cook a steak the way I do. Really great service. And a terrific wine list. Lots of wonderful South American wines but also a very nice selection of American and Italian.
By far one of the best restaurants I have been to. The place is amazing, cozy, with just the right lighting and music. The service is fantastic, special thanks to Ari for exceptional service. Lastly, the best part was the food! Delicious and great quality. I would definitely recommend and return soon.
We hosted our rehearsal dinner at La Cabrera last night and wish we could rate our experience 10 stars. We have been planning this dinner for months and Sebastian was meticulous, timely and beyond helpful during the planning process. During the dinner, his team was attentive, speedy and beyond kind. Our experience EXCEEDED our expectations. Wow! Not to mention, the food was delicious, portions were large and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the presentation. If you’re looking to host a special event, La Cabrera will be everything you could have hoped for.
Amazing service, incredible food, and great vibes! The experience at La Cabrera Coral Gables was top-notch. Claudia, the manager, was constantly checking in on every table, ensuring that everything was perfect. The attention to detail and hospitality made the night even more special. Highly recommend
We had a great experience. The food was very good but the service was better. Arianna was great very friendly and personable. The rest of the staff was also great but didn't get their names. Will return.
We were looking for a new place to try in the area to celebrate mom’s birthday and came across La Cabrera. It was phenomenal, staff was very personal especially Juan our waiter and Gaston the manger who came several times throughout the course of the meal to make sure we were satisfied. We had the cowboy bone in rib eye, grilled octopus, asparagus, mushroom & truffle ravioli, burrata over tomato and avocado tartar and special grilled Argentinian provolone. To celebrate the birthday girl, we had the BEST tiramisu I’ve ever had. I highly recommend La Cabrera and be sure to ask for Juan👌🏼
My boyfriend and I visited on Saturday around lunch time and the server was awesome! I tried to get her name but forgot. The service from everyone was amazing, the bread was great, the steak was a ton (recommend sharing), and the sides were good. My boyfriend really enjoyed the dum dum tower :) We miss coconut grove already!
I had lunch at La Cabrera yesterday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. As a first-time guest, I was truly impressed by the level of customer service. Our server Juan and the entire staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They took the time to walk us through the menu, offering great suggestions that made choosing much easier and more enjoyable. The food was delicious, but it was the hospitality that really stood out. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our experience special. I’ll definitely be coming back!!
The music was excellent, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the food was absolutely fantastic. The service was top-notch as well. From both the waitress and manager
This is a great restaurant!! From the minute we got here till the end of the meal, everything was outstanding! Lorena our server, was fabulous. We had the Miami Spice Menu and everything was delicious. We had the proveletta cheese, the chorizo, the mushroom ravioli and the NY strip. All were amazing. For dessert I had the pistachio ice cream and the Dulce de leche crepes. Both were tasty. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant!
We tried this place on a personal recommendation and can truly agree with others. We got a booking for Saturday night (7.30 so early for here), the restaurant was busy but not too loud and our service was excellent. They bring you some small samplers to start (bread, dips). I ordered a ribeye and my husband ordered a new york strip and both were cooked to perfection, beautiful char and incredibly flavourful. 3 sauces accompany that you can try and i had mashed potatoes as a side and my husband had french fries. Highly recommend to anyone.
This place is amazing, starting with the service our server was Laura and she was exceptional very knowledgeable of the menu. It was our first time but will be going back for sure. Is nice to go to a restaurant that the service and food are great.
Wonderful, WONDERFUL family dinner at La Cabrera in Coconut Grove! We enjoyed family-style provoleta, grilled octopus (the biggest and best I've ever had), and a perfectly cooked bone-in cowboy ribeye. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our young daughter, and the service from Juan and the entire team was absolutely above and beyond. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
La Cabrera was amazing! The food, the service and they even bring to your table different things to try for free. Ariana our server was the best too! We will be back!
The restaurant has a beautiful decor. Our waitress - Julieta was just wonderful. Very patient and courteous, and answered every question we had regarding the menu and wine selection. We ordered from the Miami Spice Menu and were pleased with each of our selections i.e., salmon, ravioli, burrata, empanadas. We also ordered off the regular menu i.e., tuna, which was delicious.
The food and the service was outstanding. The meat was cooked perfectly. The service was outstanding. The wine list matches with the any different dishes. The atmosphere is very pleasure . I was there with my family in the Miami spice night. And the experience was fantastic.
Easily the best steakhouse in Miami. Wonderful atmosphere with exceptional service. If possible have Emilio as your server, phenomenal service.
Wow! I can't express how blown away I was by the incredible service we received, all thanks to Ariadna (Ari). She made us feel like part of the family! The food? Absolutely phenomenal! The steak was bursting with flavor, and the quality was just spot on. I absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Miami!
Cabrera Restaurant is a great spot for authentic flavors and warm hospitality. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend and please try the homemade dulce leche cheesecake.

Overall: recommend. Miami Spice season is here again, bringing with it the city’s best chance to indulge in multi-course dining at an approachable price. Over the years, I’ve sampled my fair share of offerings, and this season, La Cabrera stands out as a highlight. The menu strikes a masterful balance of variety and flavor—every course, from the richly seasoned sausage to the perfectly cooked steak, showcased both skill and restraint. The only falter came with dessert. The crepe, filled with a dense caramel sauce, carried an overly manufactured sweetness that felt out of place after such a refined meal. A lighter finish—perhaps raw sugar crystals kissed with lemon zest—would have brought the evening to a brighter close. Even so, La Cabrera delivers a memorable Miami Spice experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone seeking robust flavors, attentive preparation, and exceptional value.
Shared dinner with my family of 6. Wine selection was great and the service was excellent. My 17 year old son and I shared the full portions of the Vacio and the short ribs. The first time I can remember we were not able to eat all the meat served. We topped it off with the caramel crêpes with ice cream
Went for buisness lunch, was really really good, exceptional service, the short rib was perfect, we also got the breaded skirt stake, not that good in my opinion. Dessert was AMAZING!
Family and I had a good experience at la Cabrera, we ordered pasta, ojo de bife ,grilled cheese as appetizer and dulce de leche cheesecake as dessert, the food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. Not the best Argentinian food I’ve eaten in Miami, but I would come back. Service was a bit slow but still acceptable.

Great new place in the Grove. Very good service and atmosphere. Food is well-prepared. Only negative is that the steak portions are too big. Wish they would add a petite filet and steaks in the 8-12 oz range vs 14-21+. Highly recommended.
The food is amazing! Empanadas are to die for. Meat cooked to perfection. However, service could really be improved. The waiter was very very slow and did not smile or care to make recommendations. And I had to ask multiple times to have the water refilled and the dessert menu
I had high hopes for this restaurant, and while the service was absolutely outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional—the food, unfortunately, fell short. The dishes I ordered looked promising but lacked flavor and overall quality. It was a very disappointing dining experience in terms of the food itself. That said, one thing I truly appreciated was that the staff brought out a generous variety of free samples for me to try. It was a thoughtful gesture and showed they were really trying to make the experience enjoyable, which I value. If they could bring the quality of the food up to match the service and hospitality, this place could be great.

The ambience is right, our waitress (Lorena) was the best of the dinner, sadly the experience as a whole is quite disappointing, like a zero. $300 later and the meat was so flavorless that hurts.
We selected La Cabrera for a family get-together, on a Sunday afternoon. The food was really good. We ate a variety of appetizers and entrees, all well prepared and tasty. The quality of the service didn't match the food. Service was sluggish. The waitress forgot some of the drinks we ordered. They informed us multiple times about items that 'ran out', including several beers, white rice, spinach and cheese empanadas. It was 3 PM on a Sunday. All in all, we really expected more from a food bill of more than $1,400.

Complete disappointment after having been in the original Palermo location 10 years ago. The staff is undertrained, a big portion of the menu was unavailable, their dishes are unseasoned, and the corner tables for 6 people have super awkward seating spots for 1/3 of the table. May give it another try in a few months if I hear from trustworthy sources that they have gotten their act together.
Food was good. Service was pretty appalling for a 17% min gratuity. I mean if you’re gonna do that, you better have decent service. For example, we sat down and while there were 7 staff members attending another table not a single person looked at us for like 25 mins. Had to walk up to the maître d to ask nicely if someone could please take our drink order. This was at 6p (there were 3 tables occupied). Asked for ice, never got it. So disappointing given it’s got so much potential.
Having been to Argentina many times and knowing how exceptional steaks can be there, I was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. While the service was excellent and the staff were kind and attentive, the food was very disappointing. Nearly every dish we ordered was either missing key elements or prepared incorrectly. This is especially unfortunate because the restaurant itself is beautiful, with impressive décor and a great atmosphere. However, to truly succeed, the food needs serious improvement. The dishes lacked seasoning entirely, not even basic salt, and overall felt unfinished. The issues were not limited to a single dish. The skirt steak was specifically recommended to me by two staff members, and I confirmed multiple times that it was tender and not chewy. I was assured it would be soft and tender, but when it arrived, it was the exact opposite, extremely tough, chewy, and not enjoyable at all. My wife ordered the New York steak, which was almost entirely fat and inedible, so we ended up packing it to take home for our dog. I truly hope the restaurant works more closely with the chef or considers sourcing higher-quality meat, because the space and service have real potential. The food quality simply does not match the rest of the experience
Went to dinner last night. My wife ordered trout and I ordered penne pasta with salmon. They never brought my main course and said they forgot to put the salmon in. Charged for Arnold Palmer refills One of the staff just looked at his iPhone the whole night Manager did not offer an apology.
I’m Argentinian and this was not good. Meat had a lot of fat, no lean, salads were very poorly served, the provoleta was tiny, dulce de leche crepe was very liquify, and very expensive. Service was excellent. But not worthy. Graziano’s is still better and at half the prize.
We had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. My mother in law found a hair in my plate and, surprisingly, they didn’t even offer us something as simple as a coffee to make up for it. We had to speak with the manager, Antonella, who had a terrible attitude. After a long discussion, she only removed the service charge, which honestly was the very least she could do given how poor and slow the service was. To make matters worse, our waiter lied saying he had already notified the manager, but then the manager herself told us they were just finding out about the incident. Overall, an unpleasant experience, definitely not recommended.
My girlfriend and I tried the Miami Spice menu for lunch on Saturday. It was a letdown. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet appetizers (chorizo and empanada) took 30 minutes and were bland. My vacio was good, but the New York strip was tough and tasteless. The dulce de leche crepe was amazing; the flan was flavorless. They also added tax after the tip, which felt sneaky. Won’t return.
I had a very disappointing experience at La Cabrera in Coconut Grove. My main dish was served with a hair in it — something completely unacceptable in any restaurant, especially one that positions itself as fine dining. What made the situation even worse was the way it was handled. Neither the waiter nor the manager made any effort to resolve the issue. There was no apology, no replacement, and no sense of responsibility. The complete lack of professionalism and care for the customer left me shocked. Food mistakes can happen anywhere, but how management responds is what defines a restaurant’s quality and integrity. Unfortunately, La Cabrera failed completely in this regard.
Was not my first time there, but never was like this, typically Miami, the service at the beginning was awesome and after worse and worse every day. Starting they didn’t find my reservation, even when I show them the email and the text confirmation, but they give me the table. The waiter a Venezuela girl was horrible, take a long time to came to the table, we order the drinks and I order a bottle of wine, all drinks on the table and My bottle nothing, I asked for the wine and after my question she bring it, all the people already drink their beer when my wine arrive.when we ordered the appetizer, she wants that we order the food, because meat take time, I reply to her” give us a chance to think. After order de main course I asked for water and a beer and we finished eat and I stand up and chasing her to remember her the water and the beer. Was horrible experience, my self and my friend never go back to la Cabrera coconut grove.ah the restaurant was not full.
Very disappointed with the service. The water was warm. To our surprise it wasn't served with ice. We had to wait for bread after asking multiple times to the point where we had to get the manager's attention. We ordered from the Miami Spice Menu but learned after waiting for our food that they're wasn't jasmine rice. There weren't many patrons for a Saturday afternoon. The food was mediocre and didn't match the ambiance of the restaurant. This was a "one and done". We won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone.
Although the food was great, the service was awful. The waitress arrived late, she was too busy with other tables, she forgot about us many times. When the meat was ready to serve, she didn’t show up on time, the food was on a tray ready to be served. Not well organized. The bathroom were all dirty, lack of cleaning. I don’t used to write reviews, but I took this time because I thought that a restaurant that is very pricey, it should offer an unforgettable experience with all 5 stars. I will not come back to this branch. I left tip because of the workers behind the kitchen, not for the waitress, she needs to learn a lot about restaurant ethics.
