Reserved seating for 12 last night for my wife’s birthday and everything went perfectly. The servers super attentive, the place was very mellow and warming. The food was spectacular. I believe the best Argentinian steaks I’ve ever had. We had a variety of meats; Filet Mignon, Skirt Steak, Flap Steak and man it was just extremely satisfying. The BBQ pork ribs was spectacular as well. To put it short words, this is the place to come eat in Coconut Grove whether it’s a date, social setting, or family dinner, you won’t be disappointed. The Argentinian cut steak is a must, melts in your mouth…. trust me on this! The manager paired our steak with a delicious red wine called yacochuya from the region cafayate valley, Argentina. We celebrated our friend Lily’s birthday and it was short of perfect. The host was very accommodating ( we had no reservations) , our server Lautaro was very attentive and helpful and even the GM Gaston took the time to check in with us and gave us complementary treats. Now, the food was delicious ( empanadas , langostinos , chicken brochetas, pesto pasta and the ribeye…) but the drinks at least my Sofia Loren cocktail was an absolute unforgettable experience! I will definitely recommend to friends and family , and we are looking forward to visit again !

Great place! Our server Jimena was fabulous!! Definitely try the Pork Sausage & Special Grilled Argentinian Provolone. The sauces they give you to pair with make every bite different. This is an excellent Argentinian steak house. Ambiance, service and food are all excellent. We were a large group on a Saturday afternoon. Tried several dishes: molleja, morcilla, empanadas, steamed brócoli, filet mignon, New York strip steak, skirt steak, crème brûlée. All were excellent. It’s a place worth to repeat. Excellent for families. A little bit too costly.

I have been here twice, on 2 occasions, one for dinner and one for lunch. Both times the food, the service and the atmosphere were all very good, surpassing my expectations, since there are a lot of Argentine steakhouses restaurants in Miami, but this restaurant is above and beyond. The cuts, the variety, the sides selections, and the restaurant own signature dishes were outstanding. The service and attention of the whole staff was very friendly and professional. We sipped on Red Schooner Voyage 12 while enjoying table-side service of their short ribs, entraña, and a cowboy ribeye that was carved on a salt block—so dramatic, and so worth it. Even the sides like mashed potatoes, veggies, and fries hit the spot. The dessert sampler was the sweetest ending, we were obsessed. It’s no surprise they’re one of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants. Definitely recommend for date night or when you’re in the mood to treat yourself.

There’s no reason to have a barbecue grill anymore. These are great cuts of meat and they cook them to perfection. I used to think nobody else could cook a steak the way I do. Really great service. We were looking for a new place to try in the area to celebrate mom’s birthday and came across La Cabrera. It was phenomenal, staff was very personal especially Juan our waiter and Gaston the manger who came several times throughout the course of the meal to make sure we were satisfied. We had the cowboy bone in rib eye, grilled octopus, asparagus, mushroom & truffle ravioli, burrata over tomato and avocado tartar and special grilled Argentinian provolone. This is a great restaurant!! From the minute we got here till the end of the meal, everything was outstanding! Lorena our server, was fabulous. We had the Miami Spice Menu and everything was delicious. We had the proveletta cheese, the chorizo, the mushroom ravioli and the NY strip. All were amazing. We tried this place on a personal recommendation and can truly agree with others. We got a booking for Saturday night (7.30 so early for here), the restaurant was busy but not too loud and our service was excellent. They bring you some small samplers to start (bread, dips). I ordered a ribeye and my husband ordered a new york strip and both were cooked to perfection, beautiful char and incredibly flavourful. 3 sauces accompany that you can try and i had mashed potatoes as a side and my husband had french fries. Highly recommend to anyone.

That said, one thing I truly appreciated was that the staff brought out a generous variety of free samples for me to try. It was a thoughtful gesture and showed they were really trying to make the experience enjoyable, which I value. If they could bring the quality of the food up to match the service and hospitality, this place could be great.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, and while the service was absolutely outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional—the food, unfortunately, fell short. The dishes I ordered looked promising but lacked flavor and overall quality. It was a very disappointing dining experience in terms of the food itself. That said, one thing I truly appreciated was that the staff brought out a generous variety of free samples for me to try. It was a thoughtful gesture and showed they were really trying to make the experience enjoyable, which I value. If they could bring the quality of the food up to match the service and hospitality, this place could be great.

The ambience is right, our waitress (Lorena) was the best of the dinner, sadly the experience as a whole is quite disappointing, like a zero. $300 later and the meat was so flavorless that hurts.

Complete disappointment after having been in the original Palermo location 10 years ago. The staff is undertrained, a big portion of the menu was unavailable, their dishes are unseasoned, and the corner tables for 6 people have super awkward seating spots for 1/3 of the table. May give it another try in a few months if I hear from trustworthy sources that they have gotten their act together.

Food was good. Service was pretty appalling for a 17% min gratuity. I mean if you’re gonna do that, you better have decent service. For example, we sat down and while there were 7 staff members attending another table not a single person looked at us for like 25 mins. Had to walk up to the maître d to ask nicely if someone could please take our drink order. This was at 6p (there were 3 tables occupied). Asked for ice, never got it. So disappointing given it’s got so much potential.

Having been to Argentina many times and knowing how exceptional steaks can be there, I was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. While the service was excellent and the staff were kind and attentive, the food was very disappointing. Nearly every dish we ordered was either missing key elements or prepared incorrectly. This is especially unfortunate because the restaurant itself is beautiful, with impressive décor and a great atmosphere. However, to truly succeed, the food needs serious improvement. The dishes lacked seasoning entirely, not even basic salt, and overall felt unfinished. The issues were not limited to a single dish. The skirt steak was specifically recommended to me by two staff members, and I confirmed multiple times that it was tender and not chewy. I was assured it would be soft and tender, but when it arrived, it was the exact opposite, extremely tough, chewy, and not enjoyable at all. My wife ordered the New York steak, which was almost entirely fat and inedible, so we ended up packing it to take home for our dog. I truly hope the restaurant works more closely with the chef or considers sourcing higher-quality meat, because the space and service have real potential. The food quality simply does not match the rest of the experience

Went to dinner last night. My wife ordered trout and I ordered penne pasta with salmon. They never brought my main course and said they forgot to put the salmon in. Charged for Arnold Palmer refills One of the staff just looked at his iPhone the whole night Manager did not offer an apology.

I’m Argentinian and this was not good. Meat had a lot of fat, no lean, salads were very poorly served, the provoleta was tiny, dulce de leche crepe was very liquify, and very expensive. Service was excellent. But not worthy. Graziano’s is still better and at half the prize.

We had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. My mother in law found a hair in my plate and, surprisingly, they didn’t even offer us something as simple as a coffee to make up for it. We had to speak with the manager, Antonella, who had a terrible attitude. After a long discussion, she only removed the service charge, which honestly was the very least she could do given how poor and slow the service was. To make matters worse, our waiter lied saying he had already notified the manager, but then the manager herself told us they were just finding out about the incident. Overall, an unpleasant experience, definitely not recommended.

My girlfriend and I tried the Miami Spice menu for lunch on Saturday. It was a letdown. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet appetizers (chorizo and empanada) took 30 minutes and were bland. My vacio was good, but the New York strip was tough and tasteless. The dulce de leche crepe was amazing; the flan was flavorless. They also added tax after the tip, which felt sneaky. Won’t return.

I had a very disappointing experience at La Cabrera in Coconut Grove. My main dish was served with a hair in it — something completely unacceptable in any restaurant, especially one that positions itself as fine dining. What made the situation even worse was the way it was handled. Neither the waiter nor the manager made any effort to resolve the issue. There was no apology, no replacement, and no sense of responsibility. The complete lack of professionalism and care for the customer left me shocked. Food mistakes can happen anywhere, but how management responds is what defines a restaurant’s quality and integrity. Unfortunately, La Cabrera failed completely in this regard.

Was not my first time there, but never was like this, typically Miami, the service at the beginning was awesome and after worse and worse every day. Starting they didn’t find my reservation, even when I show them the email and the text confirmation, but they give me the table. The waiter a Venezuela girl was horrible, take a long time to came to the table, we order the drinks and I order a bottle of wine, all drinks on the table and My bottle nothing, I asked for the wine and after my question she bring it, all the people already drink their beer when my wine arrive.when we ordered the appetizer, she wants that we order the food, because meat take time, I reply to her” give us a chance to think. After order de main course I asked for water and a beer and we finished eat and I stand up and chasing her to remember her the water and the beer. Was horrible experience, my self and my friend never go back to la Cabrera coconut grove.ah the restaurant was not full.

Very disappointed with the service. The water was warm. To our surprise it wasn't served with ice. We had to wait for bread after asking multiple times to the point where we had to get the manager's attention. We ordered from the Miami Spice Menu but learned after waiting for our food that they're wasn't jasmine rice. There weren't many patrons for a Saturday afternoon. The food was mediocre and didn't match the ambiance of the restaurant. This was a "one and done". We won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone.
