Such a fun surprise! We came here for some traditional Colombian food and ended up cleaning the whole plate. 😂 The picada was the star — everything was fried to the perfect crisp. Like… dangerously crispy. One bite and I was SOLD. So crunchy, so tasty, so hard to stop eating! If you’re craving something comforting, crispy, and full of Colombian flavor, this place totally hits the spot. Highly recommend! 💛✨
Yesenia is our server and she’s very good in serving with respect and she served us with good manner. The food is very good. This is my first time in Colombian restaurant with my Colombian boyfriend .i Love the foods! A lot of selection on the menu . Highly recommended this Colombian restaurant 💕 🇨🇴
This restaurant is a vibe. Authentic Colombian food. Very good quality meats and fish. Simple but very tasty, as Colombian food is generally. The shrimp ceviche and the Picada Columbia were both very good. Excellent service and atmosphere. Expect Miami prices but good amount of food. Aldair did an excellent job. Thank you!
I loved the ambience and atmosphere at La Ventana. Their mix of songs was great making you feel immersed. The food was very flavorful, we ordered the paella and the mojarra but the attention to your needs is what topped it for me, our waiter Aldair was very attentive to our needs and was quick to make us feel comfortable with his jokes and carisma. Would definitely come back and recommend coming here!!!
My waiter Yesenia was amazing!!! She’s really sweet. I had questions about menu items because I’m really picky and she was patient and answer them all. She came to check on us multiple times making sure we were good which was nice this way I wasn’t left to yell across the room for a waiter. The service here was quick and the food here was sooo good! I’m a reallyy picky eater but I enjoyed everything I ordered. The drinks are perfect here too!
had an amazing experience during our visit to miami, what a better way to start your get away than feeling close to home. the picada was our choice for dinner, great portion size to share between two people, flavor was on point and paola provided outstanding service. her warm welcome and great hospitality service made up for the cold windy evening. definitely recommending la ventanita to close friends, family and fellow colombians that seek comfort away from home.
So this place in SoBe is really nice! At first you might think it’s just another tourist spot, but it’s actually so much better. The food was a solid 9/10, fresh and full of flavor. Our server Yecenia was fantastic super friendly, explained all the options, and made everything easy for us. My only suggestion would be to offer a couple more iced coffee flavors instead of just plain, but that’s minor. Overall, great experience and we’ll definitely be back!
Had a great experience at La Ventana Colombian Restaurant in South Beach. The food was delicious — we ordered the bandeja paisa and patacones, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The service made the experience even better. Paola, our server, was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, which really added to the meal. If you’re in Miami and craving authentic Colombian food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back!
Our first day in Miami and this place caught our attention. Lots of people eating and naturally we chose this place. Paolo recommended us the best food and it was indeed amazing and delicious. My mom who usually doesn't eat a lot, ate much more. I can't recommend this place more. It's such a great find. Paola, you are amazing. Keep doing what you do.
The esencia was very attentive and polite. She was helpful in describing the dishes accurately. The food was really delicious and tasty. The atmosphere was very warm and pleasant. Highly recommend.
We came to La Ventana to celebrate finishing our marathon, and it was the perfect spot! From the moment we walked in, Yesenia and Mauricio (aka Bala) made us feel so welcome. Their service was beyond amazing—super friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited to celebrate with us. The food was incredible—authentic Colombian flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the atmosphere was so lively and fun. To top it all off, they even brought us shots on the house, which made our celebration even more special. If you’re in Miami and looking for a place with great food, a welcoming vibe, and top-tier service, La Ventana is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!
Cute Colombian restaurant! Our server Agostina was very nice and attentive. The food was great - my wife and I both had the churrasco. It was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri was very flavorful. The beef arepitos were also very good and flavorful. Will come back again if we find ourselves back in South Beach!
Best meal I had from Miami on this trip. I’m from Chicago and love to eat. The traditional Colombian dishes were excellent, flavorful and filling. Yesenia our waitress was very nice and made us feel relaxed. The turnaround from ordering to the food arriving was quick. We are thoroughly full and satisfied. Great job.
Genuinely one of the most memorable dinners of my life. Absolute great service, Jessica made the best spicy mango margaritas, and Emerson had the best recommendations on what to eat. We had 6 guys and did family style to try a bunch of the chef’s special sharing platters. All around was impeccable and will be back here every Miami trip
We had an amazing experience at La Ventana in South Beach! The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented and perfectly portioned. What truly made our visit exceptional was our server, Paola. She elevated the entire dining experience with her warm personality, deep knowledge of the menu, and fantastic local recommendations. We absolutely loved her! If you visit, be sure to ask for Paola—she’s the best!
The food and atmosphere was phenomenal. My wife and I split the seafood paella and it was great me of the best dishes we have ever had. Our server Aldair went above and beyond to explain the menu and provide recommendations. Will definitely be coming back here again.
Service and atmosphere were great and reminiscent of Colombia. La Ventana is well located that sitting outside on an April day under the shade with the breeze blowing makes for the perfect dining experience. The food was delicious but the flavors were mild. The cost was high for the quality of food.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming Colombian spot, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. I ordered the chicken creole and finished with a flan — both were absolutely delicious and bursting with authentic flavor. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service from Emerson, our waiter. He was incredibly attentive and made sure that both my sister and I — who are celiac — were safe. He took our gluten allergy seriously, double-checked everything with the kitchen, and assured us there was no cross-contamination. That level of care really made us feel comfortable and appreciated. The place itself is also super instagrammable, with a cozy and colorful vibe that adds to the authentic Colombian experience. Whether you’re gluten-free or not, this local gem is definitely worth a visit!
We had an amazing experience at La Ventana Restaurant thanks to Yesenia. Everything was absolutely perfect—from the service to the food. Every dish was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Yesenia was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, which truly made our visit special. Highly recommend asking for her when you come. We’ll definitely be back!
A beautiful and very colorful restaurant with good food and vibes. We ordered a bunch of things from their menu and the chicken was the best of all. The rice dish too was delicious. Drinks were ok. Service was ok. The servers took great care of us. The only issue was that this restaurant had very limited indoor seating. It was mostly outdoor and it was not possible to sit outdoor in that heat. However, the restaurant staff got us a table inside within 5-7 mins which was good. The restaurant is super colorful and gave the old town Cartagena vibes. Overall we had a great time and food was value for money.
We stumbled across La Ventana Colombian Restaurant while visiting Miami, and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by warm, friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the food—wow! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, full of authentic Colombian flavor. A special shoutout to Angel, our server, who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. His attentiveness, kindness, and great recommendations truly elevated our meal. If you're in Miami and craving incredible food with outstanding service, don’t miss this gem!
Delicious food and an unforgettable experience! Everything we tried was incredible — the specials were outstanding, and the lobster was absolutely superb. Huge shout-out to Paola, who was an amazing waitress: warm, attentive, and made the whole meal even better. Can’t recommend this place enough — we’ll definitely be back! 🌟🦞
I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch that exceeded my expectations. The food was exceptional. The service was outstanding as well. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my glass was never empty and that I had everything I needed without being overbearing. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious food and attentive service!
Paola was super friendly and recommended a great seafood platter! This place has a great ambiance with outdoor seating. We had mojitos, plus a seafood platter with coconut rice and plantains. We walked around a lot about a lot of pushy restaurant hostesses wanted us to go to their restaurants. Good experience :)
We had an amazing experience at this Colombian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — authentic flavors, generous portions, and everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and vibrant. A special shoutout to our server, Angel. He truly made the experience exceptional. Angel was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and made us feel genuinely cared for. His positive attitude and professionalism elevated our entire visit
Great columbian food- we tried the Patacones and chicken Corolla. Both didn’t disappoint. Emerson took care of all the details and explained the dishes to us gringos! Highly recommended.
Absolutely loved the place, although we knew nothing about Colombian cuisine. We went for a quick lunch in-between rain and had Arepitas, Sancocho and a Caesar salad. I loved my soup (sancocho) with loads of lean meat on a very tasty broth, with a side of rice and fresh avocado. I took out the meat and "shredded" it on a separate plate, then added it to the soup. Perfect! The armpits were phenomenal and the fresh Caesar salad with much juicy chicken on top was also very good. They served a side sauce - very spicy, lovely, yum yum and not sweet at all - with both dishes. The service was fast although we were the only ones and they were all very kind. Highly recommendable
We had a great experience thanks to our waitress Paola. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. She served us the bandeja paisa, and it was absolutely delicious—everything came out hot, fresh, and perfectly presented. She checked on us at the right times and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Her positive attitude really added to the meal and made our visit even better. We’ll definitely be back.
Can't vouch for authenticity since I've never been to Colombia, nor have I ever had Colombian food but I know delicious food and this was it. Cute little spot on Miami Beach, not much indoor seating but you can kick it outside. Jovial servers. Everything I tried was so flavorful and the drinks were large & buzzing! But I went the next day to try their empanadas, wasn't a huge fan of how greasy they were. And for whatever reason the drinks weren't as strong as the day before, but not complaining because the first time really set the bar.
Will return for food, not the fake flowers and greens. This is one of three highly rated restaurants two steps away from our hotel: a Cuban, this Colombian and a Mexican. Inside is small and feeling pressed, so outside it is. Noise from the non stop traffic and the exhaust pipe - don't know it's theirs or the Mexican restaurant next door, with whom they actually share the bathrooms. Relaxed atmosphere, to the point good service, and delicious food - large portion. We've skirt steak and deep fried fish - bone in, which is the reason we went. The steak is silky and the fish tastes better than it looks. With my hands -:) I throughly enjoyed it.
We went to this restaurant looking for something different to eat. We ordered a large paella, but it had a lot of small shell pieces in it, to the point that it felt like we were eating rice with little stones. The waitresses were very pushy about offering drinks; it almost felt like they were trying to force us to buy them. When it was time to pay, we realized that a bottle of water cost us $10, and on top of that they charged a 20% service fee. The waitress did not tell us beforehand that there was a service charge. If you plan to eat here, make sure to check the prices carefully and ask how much they will charge for service. There were only two of us, and they still charged us 20% of the total bill.
Food was just okay. My bandeja plate was a pretty good but my friends whole fish fried was pretty dry. Sat outside and the music was pretty loud and repetitive. Server was very nice but not that attentive, give we were there late on a Tuesday and it wasn't that full. Fine, but don't get the great reviews.
