Celebrity-driven (athletes), astonishingly down-to-earth friendly, inviting Spanish restaurant sprawled out from front patio, perfect for people watching, to private back indoor-outdoor party rooms. The food is pricey and excellent. We go back over and over again for the salads, the whole fish and the croquettes to make a full meal. The "famous" cheesecake, ethereal and creamy but substantial, deserves all the European awards it has earned.

This review is based as a bar visit & not a restaurant stay. The outdoor patio is what makes this spot special. When you step in the decor is very trendy and the bartenders were very friendly. The live music right next to the bar is a nice touch. When I walked over to the outdoor covered patio area, I was pretty blown away by the setup. Definitely a great spot to take a date or a spot to have dinner with friends. I’ll definitely come back to try their food in the future. Update Sunday nights they got salsa lessons earlier in the evening and it’s a full on dance floor. Solid spot to get your salsa on, on a Sunday.

Great vibe and service. The food was good. We loved the Spanish tortilla and the octopus. The cocktails were good and the lamb rack perfect. The veal milanese had to much breadcrumbs and it made it a bit too hard but the egg and truffle gave it a great taste. Delicious apple tart.

My new favorite venue in LA. Spanish traditional dishes with a modern and classy twist. We were blown away by the location (in the heart of Beverly Hills) and the quality of the service. However, the food really took center stage. The Spanish ham, tortilla and croquettes were delicious. Also, we highly recommend the milanese, risotto, paella and CHEESECAKE. Being surrounded by beautiful flowers and a gorgeous decoration was the icing on the cake. Can't wait to go back.

Really cute restaurant with good food. The service it’s okay, I just wished they didn’t rushed us. Definitely choose seats inside, there’s no fan or either ac on the patio dining and tend to become really really hot. Good place for girls time!

Great service and the best cheese cake in town! Been coming to Tatel for Sunday brunch and decided to celebrate my birthday here, amazing spot in Beverly Hills with Spanish food and live music, I love it thank you!:)

Located in the epicenter of life in Beverly Hills, this colorful and exquisite restaurant stand out for its delightful food and cozy atmosphere. In my humble opinion, this is a must if you are staying in Los Angeles area if you appreciate professional service, modern Spanish food and elegant surroundings. The food is second to none, my favourites were the Paella, Risotto, Croquettes and, of course, the Spanish Iberian Ham. Don't forget to have a glance at the dessert menu as there lies the incredible Cheesecake and the classy Torrijas. Last but not least, enjoy the life music inside its carefully decorated dining area. That's the final touch to an incredible night enjoying the finest spanish cuisine. I will be back for sure!

DREAMY! My crew went to Tatel for a much needed ladies night out and birthday celebration. The food was amazing and over the top delish. Our service was 5⭐️ !! We sat for hours laughing - eating - drinking - and enjoying the ambiance. The live entertainment was a pleasant surprise. The singer’s voice and song list were impressive and added an extra layer of celebratory goodness to our evening. It was like we were all on a vacay and out of our real lives for a few hours. Convenient parking in the building was super easy too! A big perk in Beverly Hills. And I believe it was only $5 if you enter after 6pm (check before you park). We found the back patio too late to enjoy the DJ…next time for sure. Wish I had taken more food pics but we were having so much fun - definitely will be going back. Don’t forget the cheesecake - it is superb!!

By far the best Spanish cuisine in Los Angeles. Order the Iberico ham de Belotta for Appetizer. The most beautiful ham I’ve had in United States. The Pella is out of this world - Fresh seafood and the rice is crispy…The Tatel veal Milanese is a must. The truffle and poached egg takes it over the top. Dry aged tomahawk is a beautiful rich piece of steak. Morgan and Fatima gave us superb service. The live band makes a cool and sexy atmosphere. For dessert we had the cheesecake and a chocolate cake. The cheesecake is so rich and creamy. Thank you for giving us an incredible experience.

I eat Spanish food all the time and lived in Spain. Food here is amazing and out of this world. Tortilla is best you'll eat. Tuna carpaccio is delicious and octopus was amazing. A few dishes could have been missed out, patas bravas, fries and the tomahawk. Rest was very good. About $200 a head though which is about the same price to fly to Madrid for me.

Interesting Italian/Spanish/Seafood mix of a restaurant I loved the Dover Sole and THE RISOTTO AND THE BEET SALAD WOW. Beet salad I wouldn’t expect to order or be good but unbelievably was fantastic. Risotto is fantastic. Chef Luigi Fineo is incredible Chef from Puglia e Luigi ti ringrazio! Luigi is also a black belt quindi stai attento.

If I could give the service 6 stars, I would. After a horrible incident at Catch SteakLA, we were welcomed by staff at Tatel with minimal notice they sat our party of 5, and I had an excellent filet. No arrogance or pretentiousness like @Catch Steak LA. Skip the Catch and go to Tatels!!

Came for salsa on Sunday night. I got there early, and they were awesome about letting me hang out by the bar until stuff jumped off. Very attentive staff as well. When things got off the ground with the music and dancing, it was excellent. The salsa class before was fun, and the dancers who came for the social were excellent. Great place for all levels and nice friendly crowd and environment. Drinks were good! I didn't have any food but from the pics I saw from their social media, it looks yum. Salsa is held in the back patio area. So no one was really eating there. I'm sure you can order something from the bar in the back or eat in the restaurant front of house. Experience was 10 out of 10. Highly recommend for salsa night!

It feels like Madrid! Fun atmosphere and excellent food. Love the Tatel Gin and tonic, the beet salad, the croquettes, the truffle pasta (the chef is clearly well versed in Italian cuisine too) the veal Milanese was my favorite! Topped with truffle…never had that before. Highly recommend!

J

I visited Tatel after hearing many good things about their Sunday salsa night. The night I was there Tatel had a band that was better than all the salsa bands in LA. Salsa Deb, our local salsa 411 source confirmed that. Their drinks are good and the atmosphere is great. I will try the food next time - hopefully.

L

This place rocks. Great vibe and great food! Their prix fixed menu is amazing and each item I ordered was absolutely delicious. I started a the Spanish tortilla (ahhmazing), Branzino for entree (seafood perfection), and the cheesecake, which must have landed from heaven! I will definitely be returning!

I went with some friends to celebrate a birthday and we had the best of the times. We were a little group and from the beginning we experienced a great service. Waiters were polite and recommended us very good, we enjoyed an awesome entertainment during the dinner and the venue was beautiful. We ordered some croquets and Spanish omelette to start, and a fabulous Spanish ham. Later I went for the octopus, delicious. Finally we ordered a couple of cheesecakes, the best one I have ever tried. Cocktails were insane aswell. Totally recommended

Loved everything about our dinner. We ordered the beets salad to start off and it was delicious! Our entrées were the pork loins & Tatel Risotto, which were super good and enjoyed it. The cocktails were made to perfection. The CHEESECAKE is a MUST!!! Sidenote: There is a DJ here on the weekends in El Patio. When I came in for cocktails one time, he played great Latin & Dance music. Definitely a dancing spot if you’re in the area!

I’ve been coming to Tatel for years since it opened. We have an apartment in Barcelona and live part-time there and this restaurant absolutely NAILS it with their Spanish cuisine! It’s a hard thing to do given they also balance it with dishes more appealing to the US demographic. Their croquetas ibérico are authentic and done to perfection. Same with the patatas bravas, pulpo (a must order!) paella, manchego and almonds, gazpacho - I could go on and on but I’m getting myself too hungry. Also the restaurant itself is gorgeous and the live music was very enjoyable. A wonderful asset to this city especially when I need my Spain fix!

Had such a wonderful experience at Tatel and had the pleasure of meeting the new chef, Marva, in-person, who surprised us by coming to our table. She’s so lovely and warm! Service crew was impeccable. Food was top notch, especially the Paella and dessert!!! We ordered the Abuela's Enselada, Tortilla de Patata, Fried Cauliflower, Traditional Spanish Gazpacho and Ceviche for appetizers, which felt like I was saying "Yum, Yummy, Yummier and Yummiest!!!!!" Paired with wine, we had the Branzino, Veggie Paella and Short Rib Paella...Wow, that was delicious and brought back memories to my time in Spain. The Cheesecake and all the desserts that we ordered were a Flavor Bomb!!!!. I am in a food coma, wake me up from heaven

We went to Tatel last night and it is by far the best Spanish restaurant that I’ve ever been to. And I am from Spain, so that says a lot. The atmosphere was elegant, fun, and very high class. The Tortilla de patata was cooked to perfection. The veal Milanese was the best I have ever had. The jamon serrano and the croquetas were to die for! Our service was amazing, and highly professional. The overall sensation when you leave Tatel is that you had a full culinary experience, from live music to romantic ambiance. I will be dreaming of my evening there until I have the pleasure of coming back. Tatel is an instant classic, and will surely be a protagonist in the LA culinary world.

If I could give Tatel Beverly Hills a 10 star rating I would. This is by far my favorite restaurant in all of Los Angeles, I literally go there every single time I’m in town. The food, drinks and atmosphere are all amazing. (I recommend their Steak, Paella, and Gambas 😍) But the service & attention to detail is impeccable. Their staff are all friendly, attentive, hospitable and just absolutely brilliant. The managers always make me feel like I’m at home whenever I’m there (shout-out to Richard & Maria 🙏🏽💙) a huge thank you to every single member of the Tatel Beverly Hills team, keep being awesome 🥂

Wow-what a treat! Came to Tatel on Friday and had such an amazing time...Let's start with the ambiance. The restaurant is based on traditional Spanish/Mediterranean food and I will share it did not let us down. We started off with drinks and I went with the "Here's Looking at Yuzu" and my girlfriend had a glass of champagne. We started with the burrata, served with a lavender vinaigrette and let me tell you, it was one of the best burrata I've ever had. The tables are very close one another, that being said, it allowed us to be chatty with the table next to us. They knew exactly what to order, like the "Gambas Al Ajillo" (shrimp cooked in oil and with chili)...OMG I wanted to order this to go it was so amazing. I ordered the salmon, perfectly cooked, a large portion (shared amongst friends), delicate in texture and the crust was perfectly cooked. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate tart, why not the cheesecake, the famous cheesecake, because this is what my girlfriend wanted and sometimes we do for others. Also it means that I will have to go back and try the cheesecake. I'd highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. I'd highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Tatel is a TOP restaurant in los Angeles. You can't really do better. The service was perfect. The vibe was nothing short of enchanting with mood lights, colorful decoration, and an electric violinist... If you want a ten out of ten experience, this restaurant will absolutely give it to you. The Jamón is imported from Spain, along with much of the other selections. The croquettas were fabulous as well. But what I loved most was the Veal Milanese (with fresh grated truffle) So that's a must order... and I highly recommend getting the cheese cake for dessert! I heard the chef has a michelin star... and it shows, because this is the closest that you will get to tasting Spain in the US. (my partner is from Spain and she agreed that it's top level) We got there right at its opening and it was operating like a well established restaurant. The sensations of the amazing night lingered into the next day... telling me that I’ve found my new favorite restaurant in town!

A Hidden Gem with Amazing Tapas at Tatel Beverly Hills As someone who began my career with the Real Federación Española de Tenis in Spain and knows Rafael Nadal, writing about Tatel Beverly Hills is a pleasure. Despite not having the most brilliant ambiance and lacking a large crowd, the food at Tatel is truly amazing. The atmosphere is pleasant, although it may not be the most dazzling in terms of décor and crowd size. However, the service is impeccable – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a delightful array of tapas that showcased the authentic flavors of Spain: Croquetas de Jamón Ibérico: Deliciously creamy with a perfect balance of flavors. Croquetas de Boletus (Forest Mushrooms): Rich and earthy, a wonderful treat for mushroom lovers. Gambas al Ajillo: Wild-caught shrimp cooked with garlic, TATEL EVOO, and Fresno chili, served with bread. The shrimp were tender and packed with flavor. Tortilla TATEL: Their classic truffled omelette, which was a standout with its rich, savory taste. Perhaps a bit too much truffle oil; a little less would be better. It's not necessary to enhance the truffle flavor in the Spanish omelette so much, and certainly not to use so much of it. Roasted Organic Beet Salad: Fresh and vibrant, a perfect complement to the other tapas. Instead of wine, we paired our meal with Estrella Galicia and Estrella Damm (Barcelona). These beers were an excellent match for the tapas, enhancing the overall dining experience. Tatel Beverly Hills is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the location is prime. It's puzzling why it's not more popular, but perhaps that's part of its charm. For those looking to enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine in Beverly Hills, Tatel is a must-visit.

Great ambiance. Flavorful food. Beautiful presentation. Service was perfect. Just wish there would be more to the plates. We ordered a bunch of plates including desert and left still hungry. Would come back for a special occasion but not a regular night in Beverly Hills.

Attended a birthday party here. It was in the back "patio" area. The atmosphere was nice and plentiful, service was great and very attentive, the food was good but a bit expensive. Expect to spend around $100pp with appetizer, entree and a drink. Entree size is medium and in my opinion, not enough to get full. Cocktails run $20 and up. Good experience on salsa night but I would not return for the food.

This place has a vibe. Always live music, always a good time. The food isn’t as great as we were hoping but that world famous cheesecake. Bomb.

Loved this place. The outdoor patio is what makes this spot special. Definitely a great spot to celebrate a special occasion or a spot to have dinner with family and friends. I found the service good and the prices were reasonable for the food served. My dish was perfect from start to finish. #papihanandy #tatel #hollywood #restaurant #birthday

It is not in my neighborhood, so I won't make a trip to be there for the atmosphere only as SM has many options and much better food. The host was rude. He thought of very highly of himself and hard to accommodate anything asked.

Pretty good. Atmosphere could be better. Less salt in tuna tartar please. Otherwise. Good drinks. A bit overpriced but the barmen are good.

The drinks were good, the atmosphere was engaging (the live jazz band was lit!🔥) and I recommend you checking it out when the bacc bar is open (weekends)...

Decent night out. Service is beyond friendly and dog loving, so +100. Setting is cozy and intimate yet not too crowded. Food prices are fair for Beverly but quality did not match. The best part was the fries. Ceviche was lacking in presentation but fish was fresh. The seafood in the paella was just not it.

The beets salad and yogurt desert tasted great. The salmon lacked any flavor and was not enjoyable to eat. The ambiance is great. Service is average. Prices are seasonable. The restaurant has a nice lunch special menu.

Upscale ambiance in a beautifully-appointed locale. El Matador & Negroni: Delicious cocktails. Roasted Beet Salad: well-prepared with orange, Haas avocado & hazelnut. Spanish Carabineros: I understand this large-prawn variety is one of the best of its kind. But they only served one chopped-up prawn over a bed of diced avocados. This single prawn tasted fishy. Croquetas de jamón ibérico: I took a bite out of 1 of the 5 croquettes and remarked to the server that I didn’t taste nor see ham in it. She said it did. I then thought maybe it was infused in the batter when they deep-fried them. Now, I’m not so sure. Papas Bravas: average deep-fried potato slices. These were served with the same tomato sauce that came with the croquettes. Basque cheesecake: Delicious, but was it supposed to be served with its center oozing out of the slice?

We had a pleasant experience at Tatel. The service is excellent and the cheesecake was the best I've ever had. BUT beware the prices! The veal is extremely overpriced for what it is, and the slides, which are needed to make a full meal, aren't worth it ($12 for steamed spinach...). There are pros and cons... but definitely get the cheesecake.

We had lunch in the restaurant today and the service and design was really good and we order 3 order with 2 said dishes. We ordered a burrata with honey , tomato and pineapple it was really delicious. Then we ordered peri peri chicken it was very normal chicken and we ordered a wagyu cheese burger it was also normal nothing special in both orders and we got French fries and patata bravis the fries are delicious .

Bland Spanish tortilla, missing salt and onions must be caramelized for more sweetness. The beef carpaccio and octopus were ok. The croquetas de setas were the best of the night. The paellas were below average. The rice was over cooked and mushy, with little flavor, and there was no socarrat. I have been to Tatel Madrid, which is spectacular, but the LA location pales in comparison. I do not believe the Spanish ownership could stand behind the quality and execution of the dishes. Good service and nice cocktails. The back patio has a DJ and turns into a nightclub in the evening which is fun for a drink after dinner.

Best meals were stuffed rigatoni and truffle risotto (pictured). We were not happy with the fish which was not flavorful and not deboned adequately. Cocktails took a long time to come out and music was too loud to hear across the table.

This restaurant had great service and wait staff but the food fell flat overall. The sangria tasted great, most of the food was acceptable but the paella was a huge let down as it was so salty that we had to send it back. The risotto was made with pasta and not with rice. I left feeling disappointed.

The food was amazing no comment. Service was terrible ! Also, the bus boy spilled the salad dressing all over my pants and shoes and didn't say a word and never even replaced it we ate the beet salad without the dressing. Not to mention our waitress screwed up on the drinks we asked for don Julio Blanco in the margaritas she put 1942 instead. Overall I would go back bc the food was really good 👍

Overall, we were definitely unimpressed with Tatel. To start, we ordered drinks and starters. One drink was good (fairly small but that comes with fancy meal territory i suppose) but the other, a whiskey yuzu cocktail called rising sun, was really poor. It tasted like a watered down whiskey, no subtle yuzu notes we were able to appreciate. Mostly water tasting. Next, we ordered a few starters: the roasted vegetables, the spanish cheese platter, and the croquettes. The cheese platter was a bit measly but honestly cheese quantity was decent. However, there were only two small blueberry bread slivers to accompany a fairly decent amount of fairly strong cheese and we ended up having to ask for more bread (which they accommodated although with a different bread type but we were just happy to have a cheese surface!) The croquettes were great, as others have mentioned. A classic dish from spain! The roasted vegetables never came and we asked about them several times so the service was definitely a bit lacking. Everyone was very kind but the place definitely has a disorganized feel to it. For our entrees we had the lamb rack and the roasted cornish game hen as well as the couscous and brussel sprout sides. The lamb racks lacked the quintessential crisped fatty bits from cooking lamb that makes it an indulgent meat. The game hen was good but in all honesty (and this is my own fault), you really could pick up a rotisserie chicken at your local market and have the same effect, the flavor was not appreciably developed or spiced more than other chickens at lower level restaurants (or markets). The couscous was solid and the brussel sprouts mushy. I did love the touch of mint accompanying the brussels but I really do prefer a decent outer crisp on brussel sprouts. All in all, it’s the kind of place that seems to coast off of being new or having had some pseudo-celebrities walk in a few times and the staff is friendly but perhaps overwhelmed. Low quality food for the price point.

The live music was a vibe. Overall the food was decent; the desert was the best. Overall, it was just too much $$$ for what it truly was. Guess I expected more from the chef for the price of the food.

Service was a bit of a disaster. The food was actually horrible. Drinks took forever to come out and then they kept forgetting orders. They offered to take car of drinks because it took so long to get it right but then charged us anyways. Then upcharged for a dirty martini, a martini straight up, basically anything they could. It was a really disappointing experience.

Ambience - 2 Service - 3.5 Menu - 3 Food - 3 Price - 1 Exorbitantly expensive. Shocked to learn that a refill coffee was another $7! In the end, value for money isn’t there. Not worth it.

A mediocre characterization of Spanish food. Not really authentic or creative, essentially a touristy BH version of Spanish style food, with attitude. As someone that dines in higher end Spanish restaurants in Spain, this was pretty lame. Beware that making a reservation there doesn’t specify table location, you may end up in the back parking lot at a picnic table …

This was my 2nd time at Tatel. I came 2 yrs ago and would have given 5 stars all around. Huge disappointment this time! We sat out on the terrace which was lovely. Service was great but the food was fair. The biggest disappointment was the world famous cheesecake, it was completely different than 2 years ago. This time it was like a traditional New York cheesecake out of a box with a thick crust. Even the pictures 2 years ago look very different than yesterday. The paella was just fair with the bland shrimp placed on top. The portion of the spanish tortillia was half the size of what it was 2 years ago. The prices was justified 2 years ago because of the quality and amount but this time way over priced for the mediocre quality and portions. The menu was missing many items than what was listed on the website. Will not be returning!

Let’s start with the good: it’s is an absolutely beautiful restaurant. The mediocre: I have eaten here a few times. The risotto used to be excellent but new chief so just ordinary. We ordered the potato with cheese and truffles on the 3 course meal but there was absolutely no truffles. I sent it back and they were supposed to bring another one but never brought it again. Most of the dishes came out at best warm. The bad: Serves there is none! They are simply missing in action. They are nice and polite but just not there!

I truly disliked everything BUT the ambiance. The food was unimpressive to say the least. I'm not sure what degree of specialty they're trying to reach here but portions are very small, prices are very high, and there isn't a flavor in the food that draws someone to something unique. I will say however that the reason I gave two stars instead of one is because the cheesecake was amazing. I've never had a cheesecake that amazing before, HOWEVER, near the end of the cheesecake, we discovered a hair, and when we showed the waiter, WE DISCOVERED ANOTHER HAIR! Lastly, we had reservations at 9:00pm, and weren't seated until close to 10:00pm. Honestly from the wait staff, to the quality of the hairy food, all the way down to the 55 minute wait to get a table, I WOULD NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS PLACE. I will update this review if the business contacts me or does any action to rectify, but we all know that's probably not going to happen...

Came here for Valentine’s Day, spent over $400 for a bad meal. The food came out so late, we had to wait so long between courses. They had obviously ran out of food, so they put some sauce on cold fries and sold it as the Papas bravas. The steak was cold by the time it came out and the spaghetti had no flavor. They had ran out of the cheesecake so we had to order a dessert we didn’t even like and still pay the set menu price even though it wasn’t what we wanted. The service was terrible, had to wait so long just to order a drink! Super disappointed.

What a missed opportunity. First to start with positives this restaurant is visually stunning, such beautiful decor and ambiance and the bar has great cocktails! Unfortunately the food was pretty underwhelming, bland and not authentic at all. This is not a tapas restaurant. They have a only a handful of actual tapas dishes on the menu and they aren't even executed well! If I was from Spain looking for a taste of Home I would have walked out. And as beautiful as the place is, nothing screams Spanish tapas restaurant at all! If you really want to cross this place off your list, go hangout at the bar, enjoy a drink and the beautiful space and then leave and have dinner elsewhere.

Disappointing. Poor excuse for Spanish food. Don't use Saffron for Paella??? Look liked it was cooked from a Trader Joe's freeze dried box and just added water. Looked terrible and tasted the same. Tortilla was ok but small. Food was expensive.. especially considering the quality. Looks like the back bar may be better than the restaurant. Can't be worse. If your looking for authentic food from Spain go somewhere else. For paella try La Espanola on Saturdays in Harbor City. It is cheaper and way better.

Bad service, tasteless food but decent cocktails and cheesecake. I had diner with my family in August. We liked restaurant interior, design. Cocktails were very-very decent. Unfortunately, positive experience ends here. Service. Our waiter disappeared two times for a long time. He explained that the first time they had a staff meeting; the second time he was on break. Three nearest tables had dirty glasses and dishes with food leftovers. Staff cleaned them only about 40 minutes after we started our dinner. My wife ordered veal with poached egg and truffle, which cost about $65. This really not about a price - we expected to spend $400-500 for party of three. Veal tasted and looked like deep fried chicken from KFC - see the picture I shared. there was no a hint of truffle and no egg(s). When asked staff about this order they joked incomprehensibly the dish is very big, yes, yes. Honestly, I’m still not sure that was veal. Such a shame this place has both bad management and unskilled chef.

Who’s that tall host at the door. Horrible demeanor. Horribly unfriendly acting like he didn't want us there since we asked to get in to patronize the bar. He looked at my friend and and said the bar is full. When we clearly could see it was not. Then he said that we needed a reservation to patronize the bar. We pointed at the bar being almost empty because it was still early in the evening. Then he proceeded to say no and that we could not tell him whether the bar was empty or not. He proceeded to say that we were difficult and he hoped to not have to deal with people like us. We assumingely didn't look very young and trendy to him. Bottom line, he's not friendly not to mention plain rude. Very disappointed. We then happily went to Wallys next door where we had the best time. Get rid of that tall rude man at the front. Then, we may consider coming back sometime. Otherwise, you're out of luck having me as a customer.

Food was good, service was excelent, but we run into an issue with a power tripping manager by the name Omar, very rude and disrespectful to my wife, condescending and way out of line. We are never going back to that place and we will make sure to let everyone of our friends know.

Service, service, service! Tatel is missing a trick! Overzealous busboys rush to clear your plates while you still have your fork in the air, but regular waiters seem more absorbed by the noisy jazz band than customers waving desperately at them for a drink... While the food is OK - not spectacular - the mismanagement of service is a real disappointment. Fix it or lose it!...

Went for Valentine's day and it was a complete let down. I've been here once before and the experience was ok but this time it was horrible. We had to wait 40 minutes outside when we had a reservation. The service was super slow and the food was awful to say the least. The main course steak was more of a snack, and it was cold by the time it got to us. We ordered the patatas bravas and instead got some fries? The food took forever to come out and by the time we ordered dessert they had run out of most of them. We went mostly for the cheesecake because that's the only good thing on the menu and they had none left. Seemed like they were so money hungry that they overbooked. Ended up paying $500 for a terrible experience.

Perhaps my most disappointing meal in LA. So much so that I remember how poor it was and that I didn't leave a review, so I'm writing one, 2 months later. Service: terrible. We had a wobbly table which we had to ask 3-4 times to rectify. Even when we jiggles the table for fun to signal to the waiters to make it glaringly obvious, nothing was done. Food: paid 40 bucks for a "risotto" which just had a bunch of really poorly flaked truffles on it. The server dropped the truffle in my dish after fumbling it and picked it up with his hand lol. Food was moderately yummy though. Portions were way too small for adults. All in all, 1 star experience. Told the manager about the poor experience and she was like "ok". Just avoid this place please

Worst restaurant experience in my life. We talked to the manager Fatima about our experience and she said we should not have come, walked away without any explanation or apology, had the waiter taken all our plates away, and had bouncer to kick us out of the restaurant. The bouncer insisted that we have to leave the restaurant immediately, refused to bring the check when I asked repeatedly to bring the check, they would not give us the check, grab my husband's arm forcefully and physically escorted us out of restaurant backdoor. We were shocked how we were treated and I am sad if this could have been racial discrimination. We went to the restaurant next door since the manager kicked us out before we finish our meal. We were hungry. While we were waiting for a table, 2 police showed up and asked to pay for the bill.  We explained to the police about what happened and we were able to pay after police showed up with our bill (Fatima the manager called the police on us to pay but refused to give us the check when we repeatedly asked for the check). This experience is so insulting, disrespectful and I am speechless how we were treated and how someone like her can be the manager of a restaurant. The owner of this restaurant needs to know what kinds of manager they have hired and how customers are treated in such way. Just not acceptable. Also they fraudulently charged us extra $60 after 3 days which we are dealing with credit card for fraud charges.

А
Александра Перькова

it's just a terrible experience. Yesterday we were in this restaurant, everything was fine, the waiter was very polite and the food was delicious. But then some crazy DJ turned on Russian music in which they sang in an insulting manner about the strength of Russia and the tears of Europe. I couldn't believe my ears that during the war people can mock Ukrainians and Europeans. We left, apparently this restaurant supports Russian aggression and killings in the war. We will never go back there again. So if you are European or from Ukraine, avoid this place...(((

Not worth. Have been in Tatel Madrid so was expecting a similar menu, a similar experience and a higher price. The menu was similar and the price was indeed between 30-70% higher depending on the plate. What was extremely disappointing was the service. At lunch time with barely 10% occupancy, we want to order French fries together with a fish (is in the menu) for our son who is allergic to egg and milk and they indicate that they can’t make them because the friers are used for other items that have egg. Really? A restaurant of this price, almost empty, and you can’t fry some French fries in a clean oil for an allergic kid. What do you do with celiac people? Waiter asked twice and answer was the same. No. Also small details as bread (which in Madrid comes with garlic, tomato and oil) was absolutely scarce and coming in small pieces of 2 for a table of 4. In a global chain you expect a similar experience, that’s the purpose of a global brand. In your case not only that is not the case but you fail in basics for a restaurant of this level and price.
