Wow! Everything here is spectacular! We had reservations, and I highly recommend having some. The 35 foot Bloody Mary/mimosa bar is worth the $20! What an experience. The live musician was very talented and the music level was not overbearing. I could still carry a conversation with my friend. We shared an order of lemon ricotta pancakes, no syrup needed. The lemon flavor really came through. I ordered the bison Benedict, and it was delicious, not greasy or too gamey. I added 2 additional poached eggs and swapped fruit for my hashbrowns, which was perfect. My friend ordered the American breakfast, she said the bacon was good and she upgraded her hashbrowns to have onions and cheese. We ordered an additional cocktail before we left, both were delicious! Her glittery drink was beautiful. The stop was the highlight of our day!!!

What a fun, quirky and delicious place to eat! From the time you enter to the time you walk out the door this place does not disappoint. Food was fantastic with a broad range of choices from breakfast foods served all day to burgers and steaks. The musicians were great, and engaging, even visiting in the restraunt between sets. We had two young children with us that very much enjoyed it.

First things first folks...this is NOT a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Different Hell's Kitchen. Different universe. No shouting. No beef Wellington judgments. Relax. I stopped in for breakfast on a whim and immediately fell in love with the place. It's quirky, playful, and clearly leans into its own personality rather than trying to be something it's not. The vibe alone makes it memorable. I ordered the "Jolly-Quiles," their clever spin on chilaquiles, and it was absolutely fabulous. Paired with a Bloody Mary that was excellent and one of Buddy's Orange Sodas, which somehow tasted like pure nostalgia in a bottle...outstanding. One small curiosity: they open at 7:30am, but alcohol service doesn't start until 8:00am. Not a dealbreaker by any stretch, just a mildly strange choice for those of us who believe brunch beverages are a lifestyle, not a suggestion. Bottom line: fantastic breakfast, fun atmosphere, and genuinely great food. Pro tip! Do NOT leave without buying the peanut butter to take home. You'll regret it if you don't TRUST ME!

Absolutely great place to go in Minneapolis. $5 parking garage on weekends. We went here for the bloody Mary bar and breakfast. Build your own so perfect the way you like them. So many options of mixes, 243 hot sauces, pickled items and meat and cheese options. We're so glad they reopened this since it's one of my favorites I've ever had. Reasonable price for basically a drink and meal. We enjoyed deviled eggs and cheese curds for an appetizer. Both really good and fresh. We were so full that we had to split our breakfast 🥞. We had 2 of our personal favorites with lemon ricotta pancakes and huevo rancheros. Tons of flavors in both dishes. The pancakes are fluffy and sweet while the huevo rancheros is salty, gritty packed with many flavors at the same time! We try to visit several times a year and never disappointed with anything we order. Thank you Hell's Kitchen for top notch everything.

My husband and I had a date night here on Saturday night and we LOVED IT! Here's how it went. We made reservations but our fancy ride ended up being late so we called to adjust the reservation timing and they were so accommodating for us; that was greatly appreciated. We were seated on the restaurant side that has the live music and we really enjoyed listening to the band "The Dang Ol' Tri'ole" during our meal. The nice thing was that even though we were sitting close to the stage, the music was fun and well performed without being so crazy loud that it could have prevented conversation. Thankfully that didn't happen and we really enjoyed the music during our meal. The meal, wow, it was really delicious and I have zero complaints! Our server Kyle was great; attentive and polite and good at his job. I had a hard time trying to decide what to order because they have some really interesting options that all looked good. I wish I had gotten some of their appetizers, like the poutine!! I'll definitely get that next time. But this time we ordered: •The 9 oz Bison steak, which is served over a bed of grits and topped with lemony arugula. •The Peanut Butter (bacon) Smash burger (hold the bacon) and Zesty Coleslaw. For drinks we ordered a 1919 Rootbeer, a delicious Bloody Mary (with a beer chaser), and a specialty Pistachio martini. We received our food and drinks very quickly and all of it was delicious! My husband wasn't sure if he was going to like the grits or the arugula but he was pleasantly surprised at how much he liked both, in addition to the Bison steak itself. He said the Bison is a little bit stronger tasting than a typical beef steak but in a good way. I ordered the Peanut Butter smash burger without the bacon and it was soooo good! I really liked their house peanut butter so much; it was a terrific contrast to the burger patty and cheese. I liked the peanut butter so much I ordered a large container of it to-go, as well as their pre-made Wild Rice Porridge packs which we will try at home. After dinner we ordered dessert: the lemon blueberry tart and a piece of cheesecake. While waiting for my dessert I wanted another drink but wasn't sure what to pick from their vast drink menu. Our server Kyle listened to the details I provided about what kind of drink I was looking for and he suggested one that isn't on the menu. It was the *DELICIOUS* Pistachio martini. WOW! I wish my photo of it had turned out better but I think the Bloody Mary and overall fun night had blurred my photography skills a bit. Both of the desserts were excellent! The cheesecake was a nice flavor and texture, and the toppings that resemble apple pie and oat crumble was unique and quite good! The lemon tart was subtle and not overly sour. I wish I could have eaten more; it was delicious! Thankfully I bought the extra peanut butter so I can duplicate the smash burger at home! 5 stars!

Hell's Kitchen was the perfect Anniversary choice for a fun, eclectic atmosphere with excellent food and stellar service. Our server Reagan made sure we had the best dining experience and even let us into a closed part of the restaurant to see the artwork. They gave us a free dessert and we bought some great merch and took loads of pictures! Best dining experience ever! The pear/ham sandwich was divine!

We had a great time at Hell’s Kitchen. We were seated immediately and had plenty of time to peruse both the drink and food menus—there were so many delicious options to choose from. We ultimately decided on the Prime Rib Dip & Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes. Loved that they offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day. Our waitress was kind, helpful, and patient, which made the experience even better. The holiday décor was still up, which added a fun and festive touch.

Went on Valentine’s Day and ordered gluten free food. The food was delicious and it didn’t make me sick as a person with celiac disease. Got a French dip. The live music was great entertainment. We will be back!

Bloody Mary/Mimosa bar totally worth it. $16.95 to build your own creation with as much as you can! Also, the bison birria eggs benedict….10000/10. I’m still dreaming about it. It was gone in 4 minutes. SO DAMN GOOD! Recommend making a reservation for sure, especially if going on the weekend. Will be back!

We had our wedding reception at Hell's Kitchen and it was perfect! Our lead coordinator for the evening was Brandon and he was absolutely amazing! He made the evening seamless and so joyful! The food was awesome as everyone complimented how wonderful it was. Jolene was great to work with in deciding our menu and helping us decide the best space for us. We would recommend Hell's Kitchen to everyone! We absolutely loved it!

Mohnomin Wild Rice Porridge is the reason I fell in love with Hell's Kitchen when I was here a decade ago. It is my dream breakfast and the Hell's Kitchen still delivers. It is simple, unique, and oh so good. The perfect combination of hearty and creamy. I returned for dinner and had the Bison Quesabirra Tacos. Meaty and cheesy in a grilled taco shell. It comes with a dipping sauce that brings in incredibly deep flavors. Like the juice from the richest pot roast you've ever had. House tortilla chips accompanied the tacos. The salsa verde knocked my socks off. It is processed until smooth and creamy. Awesome heat, to the point of making me think it might be cilantro chutney inspired. The heat lingers which complimented the tacos. It also comes with a lovely cheese dip. I picked up the cookbook when I was here for breakfast and the description of the pecan roll made it clear I had to try it before attempting to replicate it at home. It is light, fluffy, and covered in a blond caramel sauce and toasted pecans. The only way to elevate this further would be to add a drop of bourbon into the caramel (not too much because the blond butter caramel and toasted pecans still need to shine). They have a well-stocked bar, a good selection of beer on tap and very knowledgeable staff.

Was going to go to a comfort food place down the street but it had a long wait so I walked a bit farther and found this massive place in the underground level of a nearby building. LUCKY BREAK for me! This place is full of character and would be a regular haunt for me if I lived in Minneapolis. Memorable decor. Friendly welcome. Great service. Excellent and interesting food. A live jazz band on a Saturday morning for brunch. Will come again and bring friends!

We stop here every time we’re in town for brunch! They have live music on the weekends and I am obsessed with the build your ow Bloody Marys. Our waitress was hands down the sweetest and most accommodating person even for our large party of 9. I loved the corned hash and the huevos rancheros. We left stuffed and happy. Such a cool fun experience.

Cool place! We had a cool waiter who was helpful. The food was great, I had the peanut butter, bacon burger, which is one of my favorite burgers! Was excited to see it on the menu. It was cooked well and juicy! Tater tots were delicious and a generous serving! Allah has a margarita which was tasty and strong. My husband had a burger as well, which he enjoyed!

What a treat! Great service from the staff, very cool atmosphere and decor. The sausage bread is totally worth it! You can also load your own bloody Mary or ceaser. And on this Sunday there was a live jazz band.

We came to breakfast on a Tuesday morning so it wasn't crowded, at all. It did take 4-5 minutes for someone to find us at the host stand. But they are running a light crew and we were glad we had a chance to eat there on a Tuesday when so many places are closed. We ordered the Huevos Rancheros of the Gods with Bison-Pork Sausage, Bison Eggs Benny, and a side of famous house-made Peanut Butter with toast. Husband enjoyed the huge Huevos Rancheros. The Benny was good, but I wanted either more Jalapeno or more lemon in the Jalapeno Hollandaise, just needed a little more punch. Hashbrowns were baller. The peanut butter is life changing. I bought some to take home. It's ridiculous, with the brown sugar and honey. I was like how could peanut butter be worth a call out? Welp, here we are, with a 32oz take home jar, and it's not cheap 😬

Loved it! Everything about it. We had great food: peanut butter burger, ham & pear grilled cheese, prime rib sandwich. Server super attentive without going over board. Live music! The coolest set up with all different dining areas which made it seem mysterious. Clean restrooms. Crazy yummy pecan caramel roll.

Visited Hell's Kitchen in Minneapolis for breakfast and was thoroughly impressed! It's important to note that this spot is distinct and separate from Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, but it still delivers an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant was vibrantly decorated for Pride weekend, enhancing its unique, funky underground vibe. Although they serve a variety of non-breakfast items throughout the day, the breakfast menu really stands out. I tried the toasted sausage bread, accompanied by homemade peanut butter, blackberry jam, and apricot jam—all outstandingly flavorful. The lemon ricotta hotcakes, light and fluffy, paired wonderfully with crispy bacon on the side. Experimenting by spreading the leftover condiments on the hotcakes was deliciously satisfying. Definitely a top-notch breakfast experience that's well worth revisiting!

It’s my first time in Minneapolis, and after we discovered this restaurant, we dined there three times in two days. The food is soooooo good. It is busy all the time and that’s how you can tell. The service is also amazing. I highly recommend sex on tap, affordable, strong but tastes amazing. The burger is probably the best burger I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the bison Benedict. Overall great experience and fantastic food.

We had breakfast and dinner here, and both meals were phenomenal. While I wasn't personally a big fan of the sausage toast, the huevos rancheros was excellent. My wife grabbed the lemon ricotta pancakes, and they were the perfect combo of flavors. Not too sweet, not too lemony, just enough to let you know they were there. Dinner was also fantastic. My peanut butter burger was cooked excellently, and the fish and chips were reportedly fantastic too. Only a bit more expensive than other options, but absolutely worth it.

No, this is not a Gordon Ramsey place but We loved it. Food was excellent, the peanut butter bacon burger was awesome. The atmostphere and decor are amazing. The menu has a wide variety of items including some THC infused drinks and edibles. The best service we had during our trip this year. The prices are a tad high but worth it. Would definitely visit again, even all 5 of my kids loved it.

Hell’s Kitchen is a must visit! The atmosphere is so fun and we LOVE the holiday decor! Our food was absolutely amazing! Pork nachos, Bleeding Heart brownie, baby back ribs, Bison Bolognese… all so mouth-watering delicious! Check this place out and ask for Kyle, he was attentive, menu knowledgeable and welcoming to us as first timers with all our questions and my husband's banter. Ha!

Best breakfast I’ve EVER had. I got the Scromble of The Day. Tomatoes and Chimichurri *chefs kiss* I’m gluten free and the GF English muffins were great.. I got TWO with my breakfast. My dad got the breakfast burrito and he loved it! Super cool spot to check out in downtown Minneapolis.

Great atmosphere. Enjoyed the live music. We were there a few days before Christmas and the staff were in festive attire and the space was highly decorated. Really enjoyed the quesabirria tacos and consomme but would suggest choosing a side other than the chips and queso. My husband loved his power salad and as a non-gravy guy he enjoyed the routine as much as I did. We'll definitely return.

Been a while since my daughter and I have had New Year's Day brunch here. Happy to say that things are still great! My daughter had the lemon ricotta pancakes, and I had the huevos ranchero. They were both delicious and filling-we took leftovers home! My daughter enjoyed the special holiday coffee as well. I stuck with the Bloody Mary, never a bad choice. Service was good and the holiday decorations added to the fun. Thanks for making the day special!

Hands down, this is my favorite restaurant in the entire Twin Cities. I have been here at many different points throughout the year, and no matter the season or time of day, it never disappoints. That said, brunch is my top recommendation, especially during the holiday season when they host their Hell-a-Dazzle event. Brunch truly shines because of the make-your-own mimosa and Bloody Mary bars. The mimosa bar stands out for the sheer variety of options. You start by choosing your spirits ahead of time, with several alcohol options available before you even head over to build your drink. Once you get to the bar, there is an impressive spread of juices, fresh fruits, candy, syrups, and other add-ins that let you customize your mimosa exactly how you want it. It is fun, flexible, and elevated without feeling overdone. I did the mimosa bar today and loved it, but next time I am absolutely trying the Bloody Mary bar. While brunch is my personal favorite and the main reason I recommend it, any time of day here is always wonderful. This year I went to Hell-a-Dazzle for brunch, and last year I went for dinner, and both were equally amazing. Hell-a-Dazzle itself is incredible. The decor is bold and highly detailed, but it flows together so seamlessly that it never feels overwhelming. Everything feels intentional, festive, and absolutely stunning. The specialty drinks and seasonal food options are creative, fun, and genuinely delicious. The staff dresses up for the event, which adds to the immersive and celebratory atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The food and drinks are consistently excellent, but the people who work here are what truly set this place apart. I have never encountered a single employee who was rude, disengaged, or unsure of what they were doing. Every interaction comes with knowledge, confidence, and a great sense of humor. You can tell they genuinely care, and it elevates the entire experience. And then there’s the parking—yes, I’m serious. In Minneapolis, finding a good spot is basically a superpower, and Hell’s Kitchen makes it look easy. There is a parking garage directly next to the restaurant, which already feels like a luxury, but it gets better. If you park near the elevators, they take you straight to the restaurant, making it incredibly easy to be in and out. No circling the block, no street parking stress, and no second-guessing signs. It is not even that expensive, which somehow makes it feel even more magical. I have never written a review this long in my life, but this place is absolutely worth it. Between the atmosphere, the food, the staff, the brunch bars, and yes, the parking, this restaurant delivers every single time. If you are deciding where to eat in the Twin Cities, this should be at the top of your list.

Had to decide quickly where to go as we moved hotels and it was Valentine's day. Luckily, Hells Kitchen was a 6 minute walk from our hotel and they had one opening at the bar available. So we headed over. First impressions, wow. How fun. We love themed venues and walking in, everything set the ambiance of what you'd expect from a place called Hells Kitchen. Wish I remember our bartender and servers name. It was a guy with glasses. He was fantastic. Gave my wife an excellent recommendation on her entree choice. The drinks were delicious and the dessert was so fun. We got lucky to catch the beginning of the live band. The stage was so cool and the band sounded great. The theme carried into the bathrooms with the art, it was just COOL. Our only complaint is that we ordered the pretzel appetizer, but never received it and forgot to check if it was on the bill receipt. No biggie because we will be back to try them eventually. Thanks for a great evening!

Stopped in for sunday brunch for our first visit. I hadn't gone before because I knew it was a chain, but I was happy to find out that it's employee owned. Cool vibes inside. There was a band setting up while we were there which is awesome, especially for breakfast! They also had a bloody Mary bar and a mimosa bar. The bison birria Benedict was great, the meat was surprisingly tender for being so lean. Our server Tanya was attentive and perfectly set the pace for our meal.

Was visiting MSP for the weekend and was headed to another spot and decided to stop in for lunch. and it was a pleasant experience The place had a cozy, rustic charm with warm lighting and quiet ambiance. I ordered the Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes and Huevos Rancheros "Of The Gods on a whim, and it was the kind of dishes that makes you pause mid-bite, comfort food elevated. Also had a mocktail, which was peach ginger ale. (Can’t remember exactly but it was delicious” The service was relaxed but attentive, with a waiter who seemed genuinely happy to talk about the menu without sounding rehearsed. I would give it another try, as there was a stage for a band, so worth checking out. It wasn’t planned, it wasn’t fancy—but it ended up being one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in a while. Sometimes, the best places are the ones you never meant to find.

Arrived for lunch on a Saturday around noon. No reservations and just a 5 minute wait for a table. Restaurant had a cool vibe with lots of art. Very relaxed dining experience. Live music from 10-1pm on Saturday. Server was very friendly and guided us through the menu. I had bison tacos which were very good. My wife enjoyed a grilled ham, Swiss and pear sandwich with tater tots. Our daughter had the French dip sandwich. The entrees were all good. The sides a bit ordinary. Nice selection of drinks to choose from. This place has a Bloody Mary or mimosa build your own bar. We did not try it but it seemed popular. I would recommend this place for a relaxing weekend lunch.

Visited this restaurant for dinner during a trip to the Twin Cities. First, this is not a restaurant associated with Gordan Ramsay so do not go here expecting that, I reviewed it before going and understood that but it seems that some people do not. It is its own, unique restaurant however that you have to go down in a basement-like setting to be seated and eat. The setup is really nice and it seems they have plenty of space for dining and a stage for performances too. All of the staff we encountered during our visit were super nice and friendly. During our visit, we ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer and they were very good. The sweet, candied bacon on them contrasted well with the not sweet egg. For entrees, we ordered the Hell's chicken sandwich, beer battered walleye fish and chips, and chicken tenders. All of the food was really good and they give you generous portions of the food you order as well. The portions were so generous, we did not have room for desserts. The only reason I deducted a star from my review was the service was rather slow and at the time of our visit, the venue did not look too crowded. I also wish there were a greater variety of side dishes you could swap out with the entrees. Despite those, it was a very good visit overall and I would visit it again if I were in the area.

M
Maudie

I wished that they had more choices that were keto friendly. The ribs were so tender and amazing. The cheese curds were a favorite. The taco thing did not have any meat. You can add for additional price. It was okay dish. The juicy Lucy was amazing. But if you prefer you burger to be cooked more, def let the chef know. Great atmosphere. A great place for kids and families.

We stopped for something to eat before going to airport. We shared their Huevos Rancheros. While it was a unique preparation I was a little disappointed in the flavor. Although onions were not mentioned in the description, the flavor was prominent and the egg portion was bland. My partner didn't finish his portion and this is someone who doesn't waste money. The service was excellent- friendly and quick. We were seated in the back area which was pleasantly quiet - glad we weren't in the very noisy room with music.

What an absolute treat! Hell’s Kitchen in Minneapolis delivers not just a meal, but a full-on experience. I stopped in for brunch and was blown away by how vibrant, cozy, and unique the whole place felt — from the quirky decor to the buzzing energy. The Huevos Rancheros were hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice, creamy eggs, hearty beans, and a crispy tortilla base that held it all together like a dream. Every bite was a flavor bomb. To top it off, there was a fantastic band playing smooth, light jazz in the background — the kind of soundtrack that makes you want to linger over your coffee and soak it all in. The music added such a warm, laid-back vibe to the whole setting. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Hell’s Kitchen is a must-visit spot in Minneapolis. Great food, great atmosphere, and just the right touch of live music to make your morning something special.

I had pancakes and bacon. The nacon was delicious. My friend had the grilled cheese and tator tots. She said her grilled cheese was good. Her tator tots were good too. The service however after being seated was less than desirable. I had to get another server to bring my syrup so I could eat. I never got a refill on my drink. My friend ordered a desert that never came although the server came back for the check. Then he looked surprised when she said she hadn't got it. Either way less than stellar I dont have to come back.

I’m going to say that I might’ve had really expectations from the restaurant because of the name and review I read. We made reservations but there was no wait on a Saturday morning 🚩 . I ordered the mimosa because it looked super cute. I didn’t know we had to curate our own draw design I’m Too indecisive so it took me all of 12 minutes to leave the screw bar - the idea was super cute ! Came back I ordered the All American and the lemon pancakes . The breakfast was decent nothing special just very basic and my pancakes had a nasty aftertaste to make sure I wasn’t being dramatic I had my friend taste and she agreed she tasted it too. The an atmosphere was everything I loved the decor . Oh yeah the live band was a nice touch but kind of out of place for 9:30am. Overall it was cool for the experience but the foodie in me will not be recommending it on a food level.

First visit. The decor/atmosphere was neat. It took a few minutes for the host to get done photographing people to come greet us at the stand. We ordered a couple drinks and then settled on the ham/pear sandwich with chips/quest side and an order of the Mac and cheese with chicken. The food took about bit to come out. The mac and cheese was cold and the chicken was DRY. The sandwich was okay, a little mushy and the queso was very grainy since it had gotten cold. Our server kept disappearing on us and seemed like he was either new or didnt know what he was doing. As nice as he was, it was disappointing. We also ordered cheesecake which took far longer to come out than necessary. It was definitely older and had the hard skin forming on it. We were both starving so we ate most of the food but we're very disappointed. If we ever return to the city, maybe we'll try again.

I really wanted to love this place so badly!! I was super excited about the bloody Mary and mimosa bar and booked reservations well in advance. When we arrive to check in, we were seated promptly, but the size of the table We were set at was not comfortable for three people. The bloody Mary bar and mimosa bar were OK but the place they had it in was extremely small so there was no way for you to walk down and get anything without bumping into somebody behind you or on the side of you. Furthermore, the staff that worked in the bloody Mary bar made comments about how they were not told about things and we’re very confused with my THC cell store that I ordered. So confused that they put my entire seltzer into a glass which left very little room for me to put in any juice or really anything inside of it so I resorted to placing myself on top. I did like the variety of things they offered, but I also felt extremely rushed to get through the line. I paid $16.95 plus $3.95 extra for the seltzer- Felt like it was a waste. We got this cinnamon pecan roll, and the sauce was really good, but the roll itself was extremely dry. Everyone at the table like the deviled eggs except for myself, but I am from Texas so I could see why I would like them to taste a little different lol I got the pork nachos and there was hardly any meat on there, and it was saturated with the coleslaw and lacked barbecue sauce. It was not very appetizing. Overall, I felt like I wasted money since I could not fully enjoy the bar and was not exactly happy with my nachos or caramel roll.

Delightful food. Well cooked burger, deviled eggs were tasty. Struck up a conversation with the host- what a wonderful human!! Server was cold and distant, did not ask if we wanted desert or another drink, did not inquire if we were first time guests or returning, did not inquire about our tastes or recommend any dishes. Bar is completely decked out for the holidays, fun basement scene. Unfortunately missed out on the live music everyone loves. Manager was kind, helpful, and extremely sharply dressed.
