Cute gem of a restaurant with DELICIOUS food and excellent, attentive service. Will definitely return. Excellent pasta nostra, chicken parm, tiramisu, crumb cake with cannoli cream, grilled octopus, and caprese salad!

I cannot rave about this place enough. My family is from Italy and I can honestly say this is authentic Italian dishes. Ava our waitress was attentive and made us laugh. All of the staff was so friendly and made the experience wonderful! This restaurant moved location and this place is so cozy! I would absolutely recommend their food and service.

I'm so happy that the other Italian restaurant that I ordered from accepted my order after they were closed and I had to pick another option after I waited for an hour for my food. Your restaurant had exactly what I wanted and it was absolutely delicious! They lost my business and you gained it. I will be ordering numerous times during my stay here while I help out with the crisis and I really appreciate the wonderful food. The linguine with clam sauce was absolutely amazing and the bread that you sent to compliment the meal was delicious. I don't know what the wonderful sauce was that you put on top but it definitely hit the spot and it was very fragrant. Thank you so very much and I hope to visit you in person when this is all over. Thank you for staying open and feeding us healthcare workers during the crisis.

Today, I celebrated my birthday at Palazzo and what can I say, "The food was delicious!" Our server Duce Bishop Louie did a phenomenal job! He was very attentive, friendly and made our first dining experience at Palazzo a great one! I was surprised by a birthday shot out and dessert! The food prices are very affordable and worth it! I highly recommend this restaurant! I will definitely come back again! Thanks again Duce Bishop Louie!!

I went to Palazzo tonight with 2 of my friends and we had the best time! It's a beautiful, charming byob with fresh pasta and sauces to choose from. As soon as I walked in I was immediately in awe of the space and pictures. Diane Keaton comes here! We started with their complimentary pizza bread which we requested more of, it was that good! Meatball appetizer with ricotta was wonderful! Salads and caprese was so light and refreshing before the main courses. I had chicken parmesan, my friends had mushroom risotto and cavatelli in pink sauce with peas and prosciutto. The meals were fantastic! Desserts were up to par with the meals. Bread pudding was literally the BEST I've had anywhere. Chocolate lava cake and cannoli crumb cake were taken home for later and I can't wait to get into those. All of the food and atmosphere was great, but the service was the star tonight. Sana was so wonderful. She had a smile the whole night and made great recommendations. We felt like VIPs at her table. Louie was the manager this evening and he was so fun and made our night extra special. We requested a picture with them to highlight our little girls night out and he obliged and made it memorable. We will be back asap!!!! Loved everything about this place!

I love Italian food. Fresh pasta served, delicious caprese salad and please don't miss the grilled octopus.

Everything we had was really good. Especially the salmon and risotto! The risotto was creamy with peas and shrimp just delicious!

Was not expecting it to be this good. We got the eggplant marina with pesto pasta instead and wow. Both were amazing the peso pasta was amazing. Very fresh insanely good flavor. Beat expectations by a long shot

This place is simply amazing. The service is incredible each time I come here and I’ve been dining here for five years. The atmosphere is always relaxing and the staff are always friendly. Great place to dine.

We had a set menu and found the cost very reasonable given today's prices. Ana and her staff were very attentive to all our group's needs (about 20 of us). This is the 2nd year in a row we've celebrated the holidays with a family gathering there and we had a great time! We plan to make it 3 in a row next year.

I went today Sunday for Father’s Day with my whole family and we had a great time, the food was excellent, I recommend this place, it is an authentic Italian food. The service was very fast; the waitress and the lady in charge of the place were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Soon I will celebrate the birthday of a person of my work staff and this place from today became one of my favorites; so it will be the first and only option. Totally grateful.

This is our favorite restaurant. The staff is so friendly. The food is always five stars, very flavorful and prepared well. We have been here with bug and small parties, service is always five stars. I recommend if you are in the area. They also offer take outs.

This was my first time eating here and it’s a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. The service was great, the food tasted delicious and the staff is pleasant. There’s also someone playing music while you dine. I will definitely be returning to try something else on the menu!

Our waitress was so sweet and attentive and the restaurant was cozy which was really nice. Very clean as well. The food was really good and the portions were large. The garlic knots were sooo good. We’ll be back!

Food is awesome, anything that we order here has a great and delicious flavor, with the outstanding service and live piano music, this place had become our favorite spot to eat... You will not regret giving this so personal restaurant a chance. Make sure you ask for Fabiana😃 she remembers faces, and makes you feel welcomed every single time. Excellent service and delicious food! I walked by Palazzo, after stoping the CVS nearby. I experienced a super warm welcome followed by home made focaccia bread. I had the House Salad and Penne Vodka (they have gluten free options), and I could taste the freshness in the ingredients right away. I loved the Tiramisu!! The food was delicious and the service from Ana and Angela was unmatched!! I’m definitely coming back with my favorite wine, as they are BYOB.

First time at Palazzo. Food was delicious. Pasta was super fresh and the service by Anna was even better. Will definitely come back.

francaise sauce is perfect. the protein was cooked perfectly. i scraped my plate after the burrata peppers and prosciutto appetizer and my 3 year old finished her kids pasta! she never finishes anything. we’re back to bloomfield 3 years now and i finally found our italian spot!

Ana and her staff were incredible! We hosted a graduation party for 30 guests and everything was perfect! The food was fantastic, the service impeccable and the restaurant is a warm, lovely setting for any occasion. From the moment we booked the event Ana was attentive, flexible and professional. Food is excellent service is excellent the girls go out of their way to make you feel right at home I give this a two thumbs up and five stars. We go with a group of guys once a month and the girls always make us feel right at home. Keep uo the good work

It was completely enjoyable from entering to exiting. Wonderful place with wonderful service. I only need to say this is a BYOB place.

We were a group of six people on a rainy Thursday night. The restaurant was pretty empty but with lots of to-go orders being picked up while we’re there. The staff/service is very nice and accommodating. The food was delicious from appetizers to entrees and desserts. Everyone in our group was very happy with their meals. The decor is pleasant and I’m sure the piano player on Fridays and Saturdays must make the ambience great. We will certainly come back.

Palazzo has been our go to spot for a long time, whether an anniversary, Valentine’s Day or night out with our family. We love the piano player as he will also take requests. They take reservations but we have never waited for a table and service is on point. Food is amazing and it’s BYO

We chose the three course meal for lunch, I had the shrimp and lobster bisque, pasta with vodka sauce and bread pudding for dessert. My husband had the salmon. Customer service was great. The food had an elegant presentation and was delicious. I gave it a four stars rating because of the over the edge sodium. They should go easy on the sodium to give some room to add salt for those who prefer to add more flavor. Other than that all was great. Thank you

First time here. Looking for a place to eat after the Brookdale Concert in Montclair. Knowing my affection for seafood and funny tummy, I was in the mood for seafood fra diavolo. I haven't had a good since the Crow's Nest. Palazzo Pasta has a dish called Seafood Cioppino. It was incredible. Just a side note, caprese is offered as a side, like a house salad with all entrees. I am an eater, not a writer...definitely coming back here

Wasn’t bad. Had buy one get one for the ravioli. I paid extra for the vodka sauce. One had just the right amount of sauce. The other one was pretty dry. Got garlic bread.which was awesome. Wish could have gotten mozzarella cheese that would have nailed it.

Good food. Not great. But sadly, overpriced. A cutlet, two slices of tomato and a few leaves of arugula for $25. That is the chicken Milanese. And $25 for this pasta? This is NYC prices for NJ. It’s not like it’s fresh pasta or the food is that good.

Such a gem away from the bustle of downtown. Arrived with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. we picked this spot for the option of byob and live jazz. Although the jazz was not available they did say they have it Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm. The ambience was still very relaxing with some soft mellow music playing in the background and dimmed lighting. Our waitress was very friendly and super attentive. We both ordered parm, chicken and eggplant. And both options came with your choice of pasta and sauce. I ordered ziti arrabiata and my friend penne allá vodka. Both were delicious and came out warm. We also met Louie, not sure what his role was in the restaurant, but he was walking around the tables to make sure each guest was well taken care of. He Introduced himself and after a small conversation found out we were celebrating birthdays. We received a complimentary dessert, which we both enjoyed. Will definitely return to try out the other menu selections and enjoy some jazz. Try this place out! While we were there we also saw so many takeout orders and not once did we see anyone waiting for too long.

Generally I enjoyed the Palazzo. My favorite part of the restaurant was the waiter and the pasta itself. The wait was very hospitable and catered well to us. The pasta itself was pretty good. The goat cheese over the pasta was nice too. The meat and chicken wasn't great there. Both the chicken and veal were very chewy and tasted as if it's been in the fridge for several days. That was disappointing. The lobster appetizer also did not taste anything like lobster. The area where we sat the lighting wasn't very great either. I would give it another shot, but maybe if I was just in the mood for pasta and nothing else.

This review is not for overall experience or service. It is specifically for the chefs response and this one particular dish. At an “Italian” restaurant the one dish that should be straight forward and a guaranteed winner is the meatballs. DO NOT ORDER THEM HERE (If you are an actual fan of food with flavor). I ordered the rigatoni with meatballs as an entree. Everything was one texture (mushy) and underwhelming at best. When questioned I was honest. The honest truth is pale food doesn’t taste good. The chefs reply is that they are oven roasted then put in the sauce. As a well travelled person who has eaten polpette in various regions of Italy none have ever been cooked to the same color as the pasta. A fail in execution and in customer service!

I ordered the bruschetta for delivery and ate half way through it only to discover a DEAD FLY! When I contacted the restaurant they only offered to remake it and give me a new one! I will NEVER eat here again not only is this a health issue but they did not even try to rectify the situation. I’m so disgusted.

My visit started off well. My server, Micah, made various recommendations, and I started off with the meatball and calamari appetizers. The meatballs were advertised as a blend of veal and other meats and were decent but certainly nothing spectacular. The calamari, on the other hand, was one of the worst versions i’ve ever had. My disappointment with the dish led me to end my visit prematurely and decide to get another meal elsewhere. It’s important to note that I did not express any visible or verbal displeasure with my food. Upon making this decision I could easily hear Micah and another employee discussing my choice with confusion in the kitchen area. Based on what I overheard, it seemed as if he was being urged to usher us out of the restaurant. This was a bit confusing since the establishment was completely empty during my entire visit, which I likely should’ve considered a sign before I even sat down. Regardless of the nature of the conversation, being able to hear it from my table was a bit odd, offensive, and unprofessional, but I digress. Their chicken parm, which I saw when i stopped in for a previous visit, looked appealing and may be worth a try on a different occasion, but the service was definitely odd.
