I hadn’t been to a KFC in the NY area in ages. We wanted a quick bite so popped in. The outside door looked a little worn out; however, we went inside. The customer service was excellent on this Sunday afternoon and the food was good. We were treated with kindness and the tables/floors were clean. In fact, as we were leaving an employee was giving another wipe down of the tables. I strongly recommend not letting negative reviews set you up for bad experiences. You get what you expect so at least approach with neutrality. Lol that’s my tip for the day. :)
Has a different verity of chicken. The restaurant is founded in 1930. The founders name is Harland Sanders. This place has great dessert. KFC deliveries are available on GrubHub and Uber Eats. There are four chicken flavors, Nashville Hot, Georgia Gold, Sweet BBQ, and Hot Honey.
First time placing an order at this KFC. It was a mobile order. We went inside and we got our order 10 minutes past the time given. There weren't that many people inside. It seems like they were cooking the food as orders were received, unlike the usual setup where they have precooked pieces of chicken on the rack waiting to be boxed. Perhaps they are trying not to waste food that may get discarded?The pros are that you are not getting chicken that's been sitting there and getting stale. The cons are that it made the service seem very slow despite serving only a handful of customers at that time. The staff was friendly and no mistakes were made on our order...
The staff were nice. The food was straight up mid. Idk abt you but I have had better KFC. Not busy and nice interior space. There is a drive thru as well.
Some of the food was overcooked, suggesting that the oil might have been insufficiently changed. The service was satisfactory, although it could be improved if the wages were more competitive. The premises was maintained well, although I disagree with the practice of not providing accessible bathrooms to customers. It is likely that this is to prevent customers from creating a mess for the crew. I understand this, but it is regrettable that no one can now use the bathroom.
I've recently purchased from this location on thursday last week in the afternoon. I believe someone at this location at the drive through is taken people's card information and trying to make fraudulent purchases. The next day after I made my purchase, someone tried to make a purchase that was not me and this was the only place that I've went to that day that I had to physically give the person my card. Please do better.
The colonel would take the first opportunity to storm this place with his army of hyper-genetic enhanced chickens and rip the building piece by piece to shreds. This is nearly as far away from what he had in mind when starting a business that you could possibly get. I'm sure if he were still alive and in control of the company, he would put taking this place down before feeding his own children. I guarantee if you coated rubber sticks with the 11 herbs and spices and sold those instead this place would have a higher rating. Also the Mac and cheese was good.
Consistent with the surroundings, drive thru is horrendous
Now I haven’t been here in a minute and I think they recently updated the place but it’s filthy inside. Self service drink area filthy. Red spillage all over the place …the glass (doors) haven’t been cleaned in months prints all over. The food everything is mini size now 🤷🏽♀️ I’ve never seen kfc serve this size before. I guess that why it’s a $7.00 special
Today afternoon I stop by at this KFC location to grab quick bite I ordered a classic twister roll chicken inside the roll was extremely dry and it seems like it was old sitting at the Shelf for a long time and I was invited disappointed I will never go to this location again
Actually impressive to make a chicken sandwich this bad. Overcooked, refried for days. There is rubber on my tires more tender than this sandwich
Third time that I place an order through Uber Eats and my order is not only wrong but also missing items and they also do not pay attention to what the actual order requested. Horrible service and it’s frustrating after spending $50 for something I didn’t want and can’t eat! They need to get it together!!
Buyer beware pay attention to the pieces you order, every food business is cutting corners to include this one. 3 thighs only, came to $13.00. When I got home and saw how small the pieces were, I almost drove 4 miles back to return it. Open the box before you leave the store,, you’re in for some disappointment. Fast forward to 6.15.25 forgot I posted this until I went back last night ordered a simple 2 breast and fries , didn’t check till I got home fries missing,, Comprehension and attention to detail is still an issue and the staff is primarily kids unsupervised , will not make a third mistake or visit STRAIGHT GHETTO, update as of 11.25.25 no changes
EAST SANFORD MT VERNON : NEW MANAGER YOUNG LADY NASTY , RUDE TO CUSTOMERS ESP TO SENIORS. WHILE EVERYONE WANTS TO SERVE AND PLEASE THE GUESTS SHE PRETENDS SHE GO TO THE BANK FOR 2 LONG HOURS WHILE EVERYONE IS WORKING. SHE IS THREATENING GOOD EMPLOYEES THAT THEY WILL BE FIRED IF THEY DONT OBEY HER SHE THINKS SHE IS ON TOP OF THE WORLD. SHE ALREADY FIRED DELANO ONE OF THE BEST. DEFINITELY DEPT OF LABOR SHOULD GET INVOLVE INCLUDING THE DEPT OF HEALTH
Staff gives you what they want. They ignore what you ask for. No care at all for their customers. Food is too expensive not to get what you asked for! Disrespectful!
This is absolutely disgusting customer service. These young kids clearly have no pride in what they do. If you’re applying for a job, then that means you’re supposed to put some effort, some genuine commitment into your work. unacceptable
They never have pot pies in stock here. What’s the point of having the location open if you don’t have the necessary supplies?
First and foremost everyone here needs to be fired. The level of incompetence is astronomical. You just cant make this up. I ordered a 4 piece original all thighs. But do you think it's what I received???? Got home ready to eat when my surprise no original recipe and NO THIGHS !!!!! On top of that no biscuit and nothing to eat my dry mac and cheese with. What makes this worst is the genius whom took my order asked twice to verify my order. And it's even written on the receipt. If you didn't want to work why take the job. If you seriously can't tell the difference between the pieces of chicken why work at a chicken spot. And you at kfc you don't know what original recipe is ???? It don't get more backwards than this.... seriously Google you need negative stats because one star is too high for places like this...
I visited this KFC, and I can discern that they haven't changed the deep fryer oil. The chicken seemed old, and the fries tasted bitter. Unfortunately, the overall freshness of the food left much to be desired. Save your money and consider other options.
The chicken was either refried or overcooked. It was dry and greasy. After my second piece I couldn’t bear the taste of food that wasn’t freshly cooked or overcooked..
What a disappointment this KFC in Mount Vernon was!!! Chicken was nasty , You can tell it was reheated and oily I spent over 35 dollars for reheated CHICKEN .I asked for condiments over the drive-thru when we got home we had NONE .. They said they were about to close so some stuff I had to wait over 15 min to order them however they place wasn't closing for over an hour. last time Ill go to that KFC they have been around for a long time but IDK what happened to them. I close friend of mine had the same experience with reheated chicken so this must be a norm for them
